The Sargent and his bot, turned short of the suit compartment and started flying Mark around and up the other side of the hold weaving around the 4 SPG-8 inch gun grav-trucks, a dozen Panther tanks, 3 APCC’s and a dozen APC’s and too much other heavy hardware to count as the Chanting continued. Mark suddenly wondering with 3 other transport boats equally packed, where the hell he was going to put it all back aboard the Queen as the Chanting and thumping the deck, started shaking the boat. “Collins! Collins! Collins!” And then tears started filling his eyes as he stopped being able tried to think of anything but what was happening to him at that moment.

Then realizing that half the faces looking up at him were just kids even younger than him, he started worrying about finding the months it would take to get them trained properly with the equipment. That maybe it would be best if he simply went into the depths of the mine in the moon by himself. Certainly with Mickey’s help and him in one of the extended stay stealth suits, he could find the damn AI’s compartment and rescue the Admiral without endangering all these kids. Even if it took a few weeks. After all he was the fucking Inspector here. The last Imperial Inspector left in the Empire. Well that is except for a thousand year old bag of bones that may never walk again even if she survived.

Then there was the Star Queen to get launched and cargo to deliver in the Pirate infested Outback before late fees started eating up all there their profits. His mind started racing again until his mind simply went numb as he stopped being able to ignore the marines around him and those now ones starting to flood ing in through the open rear hatch from the other transports.

Mark was dropped down onto the top of a familiar SPG turret with weapons shell pock marks and gouges all over the turret. With his arms already at shoulder height raise from being carried by the Sargent and his bot, Mark he raised them up over his head as he turned around looking at a packed hold of marines shouting and thumping. A hold that seemed to be getting more crowded by the second. His chest, throat and jaw muscles knotting up making it as hard to breathe and think as it was to move in the suit. Mark finally forced his arms to lower to his side as he slowly turned , trying to see the masses of marines through eyes that kept clouding over. Wishing he was anyplace but there and looked for someplace to hide but knowing he was stuck. With the damaged suit, he couldn’t even get off the damn SP Gun without falling flat on his face .
