I had to fight like mad not to release my building orgasm down her throat. I grunted as if in pain as her oral game gave me intense pleasure. “Baby, stop! I can’t take anymore,” I grunted. She released me with a pop as I slid from her mouth. She licked my pre-cum from her lips and rose to her feet. “Damn, that was good baby,” I said before stripping her out her clothes so fast. I was like a man on a mission. I didn’t waste any time divesting my own clothes. I pushed her back towards the bed so she could splay her delicious body across it.

I picked up the glass of wine from the bedside side table and took a sip before replacing it on the table. I crawled onto the bed to join her. She never took her eyes from mines as I wedged my thigh between hers to spread her legs to my perusal.

Her vaginal area was bare and free of hair. I licked my lips as wet secretion slid between her plump pussy lips. I bent and spread her lips. Desire overwhelmed me as I appraised her inner labia. I bent and gave her honey well an intimate kiss. I thrust my tongue between her sleek lips. The taste of wine on my tongue mixed with her pussy drippings became a powerful aphrodisiac that should have been bottled with the most expensive pheromones that was available on the market.

Her moans filled the room loudly as my tongue stimulated her clitoris. I was rewarded with more sweet honey as it dripped onto my tongue filling my mouth with her sweet passion. I dipped my tongue deep and stirred up her well as I deep-sea dove in circular motions with my rough tongue.

Her hand gripped my head in a death grip as I gently spelled my name onto her pussy, giving her no choice but to know that her pussy was mine in every way. My dick throbbed with a need to enter her raw. I needed to feel her bear with nothing between us. “I want to feel all of you tonight,” I muttered against her saturated pussy before giving my pussy one last intimate kiss and crawling up her pliant body. “May I have all of you tonight freely and without constraint?” I asked looking into her seductive eyes.

“Yes,” she said with a sexy sigh. Her passion-filled voice was barely audible.

My arousal lay long and heavy along her thigh. I rolled over onto my back, bringing her with me as she landed on top. Her lips met mines as our tongues melded and danced an intimate dance with each other.

“I need you so bad," she muttered against my lips before sliding down my body to straddle me at the waist. She took my arousal into her hand and placed it at her entrance. I held her around the waist to help direct her onto my hardness. She slowly slid down my length, until it was safely planted inside her heat.

She slowly moved her hips up and down allowing my dick to glide deep and then out again. I urged her on with deep, satiated grunts and moans as she thrust her hips around and around into a winding circular motion. Her wavy hair fell forward in her face as she leaned forward to capture my deep guttural grunts into her mouth.

It felt so good to be in her naked and raw with nothing separating us. I slid my hand between our connected bodies and fingered her clitoris for extra stimulation. She moaned against my lips as her movements became faster and erratic.

Her hurried movements were causing my orgasm to build. I hurriedly flipped her over to land beneath me as I covered her body with my own. I plunged deeper into her as she raised her legs to wrap around my waist. I continued to beat her pussy into submission as my dick submitted to her sweet pussy at will.

We were both breathing hot and heavy as our sweat slicked bodies raced towards the finish line of our impending passion-induced orgasms. “David!” she screamed as her body trembled and gyrated beneath me.

“Come for me, Madelyn. Baby, I love you so much,” I chanted uncontrollably over and over again.

“I love you too, David,” she gasped before her walls tighten and convulsed around my rod coating it with her candied sweetness.

I wasn’t long in releasing my essence to mix with hers as I plunged into her core, hoping against all odds that I imprinted her heart, mind and soul with my last fruitful plunge. I rolled over without disconnecting our bodies and pulled the coverlet over our exhausted but well satisfied bodies. We fell asleep in each other arms knowing that our love for each other was deeper than the deepest of oceans.

  Chapter 13

  Madelyn

It had been a busy and long day. All I wanted to do was get home and take a long, hot shower. I locked up the Cookie Shop and walked to the parking lot to my car. Click-click was the first sound I heard when I turned the car’s ignition.

“No! Don’t do this to me, of all days,” I wailed into the empty car.

I decided to try cranking it again. This time, the car made a long, drawn out tortuous sound like it was hitting metal against metal. “Damn,” I shouted. I hit the steering wheel with my hand, as if that would make the car miraculously start. The third time has to be the charm, I thought silently to myself.

Click-click-click. Nothing! I sat in my car feeling frustrated for a moment before delving into my purse for my cell phone. I didn’t want to bother David, but he made me promise to call him if I ever needed him for anything. He didn’t care about the time of day, he had said. I already had his number programed into my phone on speed dial, so I pressed the appropriate number to connect. His phone rang twice before he answered on the second ring.

“Hey sweetheart,” he said into the phone.

“Hey David, I am having some car trouble. It won’t start. I tried cranking it several times,” I said in a defeated tone of voice.

  “Where are you?” he questioned.

“I am still at work in the parking lot.”

“Okay, stay put. I will call the towing service that I use. They are fast and efficient. I’m coming to pick you up.”

  “Thank you so much, David.”

“It’s not a problem, my love,” he said before ending the call.

David was right. The towing service arrived a few seconds after he pulled up alongside me in the parking lot. I grabbed my keys and purse and stepped from the car. David greeted me with a warm hug and a lingering kiss. “You okay?’

“I am fine. I'm just disappointed that my car won’t start. I already knew that it was working on its last leg but…” I let my voice trail off to the obvious.

“I know this car has lots of sentimental value to you, baby. Give me your car keys. I know this great mechanic that fixes cars. He has a good reputation for being honest and fair with his prices. A lot of co-workers use him. I called him on my way here and he promised to fix your car. Let me go take care of business for you. Wait on me in the car,” he urged pushing me towards his parked car.

I was grateful I had David there to help me. It felt so good to no longer have to do everything myself. I settled myself into his silver Porsche on his cool leather seats. I laid my head back against the headrest and lost myself into what Tyrese was singing on the radio. He was singing about how he couldn’t go on and be lonely and how he needed her love in his life. I felt the same way about David.

The car door opened, pulling me out of my thoughts. “That’s all taken care of,” David said settling his tall frame into the car. “I hope you don’t mind, but I need to go back to the office. I left there in such a hurry that I forgot my briefcase and PDA.”

“No, I don’t mind. I am so sorry I had to interrupt your evening. I should have called Monica.”

“That’s nonsense,” he gently scolded me. “You did the right thing by calling me. I am your man and you are my woman, so stop making a fuss out of it.” I smiled widely. I truly liked the sound of what he was saying. He reached over and gave my hand a loving squeeze before pulling out into the busy evening traffic headed towards the bank. “Come up to the office with me,” David said as he parked the car. “I won’t be too long,” he promised.

The elevator whisked us up to David’s floor where his office was located. We walked by his secretary’s desk, who had already left for the day, and entered his office. He walked over to his desk and gathered some files before putting them inside his briefcase. He shuffled some more pa
pers around his desk before a frown appeared on his handsome face.

“What’s wrong?” I asked him out of concern.

“I don’t see the main file that I am searching for. It may still be on Jennifer, my secretary’s, desk,” he informed me. “It won’t take me but a moment to look. In the meantime, do me a favor and look in my bottom desk drawer and get my PDA for me,” he said as he walked towards the office door.

“Okay,” I said walking around his desk to sit in his leather cushioned swivel chair. Which bottom drawer is it in? I silently questioned myself, before I decided to check the bottom drawer on the right first. The deep drawer contained several framed pictures along with a dark brown leather-bound album.

The framed picture on top quickly caught my eye as I looked at a small toddler that was the replica of David in every way, including the green eyes. My hands shook as I picked up the picture for a closer inspection. The little boy in the picture was absolutely adorable. I replaced the picture and picked up the leather bound album and opened it. It contained pictures of a small baby at different stages in his life. Several pictures included a beautiful woman holding the baby. My heart beat faster as I took in the beauty of the woman in the picture. So many questions tumbled through my mind as hot tears welled up in my eyes. Was this David’s child? Was the beautiful woman holding the child his mother and, if so, what did all of this mean?

“I found the missing file,” David said triumphantly as he walked back into the office. “Did you find my PDA?” he questioned, before he noticed the open album that lay across his desk.

I looked up into his eyes, which held a surprised look before a pleading look entered his eyes. He looked into my tear-filled eyes before he released a deep, harsh breath. “Madelyn, it’s not what you think. Baby, I can explain if…”

“Is this your child, David?” I asked cutting him off.

  “Yes, it is but…”

“Is this your child’s mother?” I questioned feeling my heart twist and turn as it filled with jealousy. I feared the answer to that question too.

He nodded his head before replying. “Yes it is,” he said in a defeated tone.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you had a child? You haven’t mentioned a child during the whole time that we have dated. Why didn’t you tell me that you had a baby mama?” I asked with a tremble in my voice.

“Darling, trust me. I can explain but not here. Let’s go back to my place. I will pick up some Chinese food or whatever you have a taste for on the way home and explain everything when we get to my house.”

I looked at him doubtfully. He reached for the album and closed it before putting it back in the bottom desk drawer. He opened another drawer to retrieve his PDA, before closing his briefcase with a snap. He reached for my hand and intertwined my fingers within his own. I was quiet as we walked out of the office and took the same elevator down to the office.

He didn’t let my hand go until I was settled securely in his car. He got behind the wheel and turned towards me before starting the car. “I promise you that you have nothing to worry about,” he said before starting his car and merging into the traffic.

  *

Neither one of us said much as we consumed our meal. I could have been eating cardboard for all I tasted. I usually loved Chinese food, but I had lost my appetite as I attempted to eat something. I took a few sips from the wine he had poured to enjoy with our meal. The silence was getting next to me, so I stood and took my dishes into the kitchen and placed them into the kitchen sink.

David soon followed behind me and placed his dishes into the sink, as well. I reached for the bottle of dish detergent, when he stilled my hands with his own. “Leave the dishes; I will tend to them later. Come with me,” he took my hand in his once again and led me into the living room. “Have a seat,” he gently ordered.

He paced back and forth in front of me as I sat there looking up at his tall muscular frame. He had discarded his business attire earlier, replacing it with a pair of snug jeans that did his form justice and a buttoned down shirt. He took a deep breath and finally decided to speak.

“I met and fell in love with Alyssa Darden years ago when she moved to New York from Auburn, Alabama. She wanted to start a new life and get as far away from the man who hurt and betrayed her. We were friends at first and then we fell in love.

She was the one I thought I would marry and spend the rest of my life with, until her best friend died and she went back home after twelve long years to attend her funeral.” He paused as if to clear his thoughts before he began to speak again. “I wanted to attend the funeral with her, but I had just received my promotion at the bank. We both thought it wasn’t a good time for me to take time off.

To make a long story short, she met back up with the man that hurt and betrayed her. She never got over him and he never got over her, it seems. She came back here after the funeral. Nothing was ever the same again. I felt it and one thing led to another. I was insecure and I cheated on her. She caught me with the woman. The woman I cheated with didn’t mean anything to me. I did it just to soothe my ego, I suppose."

I was in deep turmoil, as I listened to David go on and on about this beautiful woman. He must have loved her deeply and maybe he loved her deeply still. I didn’t want him to love that woman. I wanted him to love me and only me.

He continued to talk and I put aside my jealously to really listen to him. “I felt that I was losing Alyssa long before I lost her. I grew desperate and did something I never thought in a million years that I would be capable of. I became a deceitful person that I despised. Alyssa and I always used protection when we made love.”

I cringed inwardly when he referred to making love to this woman he referred to as Alyssa. I wanted to scream for him to stop and say that I didn’t want to hear anymore, but I didn’t. I remained tormented and silent as my heart felt like it was breaking into a million pieces.

“The last time Alyssa and I made love, I tampered with the condoms in hopes that she would get pregnant. In my mind that was the way to keep her by my side. Nothing worked and she married the love of her life, Drake Peterson, anyway. She thought the baby was Drake’s up until the time he was born. I hired a detective to gather pictures of the baby. I still had the idea that I could make her mines, even after she was married. My conscious kicked in at the last minute and I did what was right for all involved. To atone for my deceit, I gave up parental rights to my son.”

My heart broke for the man that I loved. He had given up his beautiful baby boy. I knew that wasn’t an easy decision for him to make. I understood he had made some bad decisions but to give up his son had to kill him bit by bit inside.

“I needed to look at myself in the mirror,” he continued. “I had to look at the man in the mirror and change who I was becoming.”

Tears streamed down my cheeks, like a river. I quickly wiped them away with the back of my hand. I stood and went to David with my arms open. I saw the pain from the memories reflect like a deep abyss in his eyes. I respected him more for baring his soul to me. I faced the man I loved more than any other man as he stepped into my embrace. My heart swelled and flooded as he embraced me in return. He let me know that he was far from being perfect. I’m not perfect and no one that walks this earth is, I thought to myself. David was human and I loved him through it all.

“I love you so much, David. I love you even more for trusting me with your truth. I am so sorry that you felt like you had to give up your beautiful baby to atone for your sins.” I tilted my face up to peer into his bright green eyes. I saw unshed tears there that he was fighting back. I looked deep into his eyes as memories of his past were revealed.

His tongue thrust into my mouth and mated intimately with mines. Our lips met in this time with a promise of building a bridge towards our future. I kissed him deeply and lovingly as the love I felt for him spoke for me.

He finally pulled back from the kiss and cupped my face in the palm of his big hands. His eyes penetrat
ed mines like a blazing fire before he began to speak.

“Everything that ever went wrong in my life has led up to this very moment, to be in the presence of you, my angel. This relationship feels so right, unlike any other relationship that I have had before,” he said. “This time around, I now know the true meaning of the words soul mates. This love between us begins with you, Madelyn, and ends with you. Nothing or no one before us matters. This is it for me and I hope it is for you too.”

Happy tears streamed down my cheeks because of his confession. I could only nod my head because I was too choked up to speak.

“This is it for me,” he continued. "The end of the road when it comes to me loving anyone, besides you. This is also the beginning of me loving you forever, for the rest of my life." His head swooped down and kissed me into submission of my promise to love him for the rest of my life, even into eternity if I had anything to do with it.

  Chapter 14

  David

“Thank you for accepting my phone call, Monica. I hope that it’s okay to call you during your office hours.”

“It’s no problem, David. Things are sort of slow around the office today anyway. What can I do for you?" asked Monica, whose interest was piqued.

“I was looking through my calendar and realized that Madelyn’s birthday is only about two weeks away. I wanted to pick your brain about some of the things she may like to do. I had an idea, but I wanted to run it by you first, since you have known her for a while.”

“Madelyn is a very simple type of person. She is down to earth and she doesn’t like to be made a fuss over. She would love something simple like going to see her favorite movie or going to a favorite restaurant. She also doesn’t like surprises, so if you are thinking of a big party, I would rethink it. But she is also a romantic at heart. Romance her and she will love it.”
