Unintended

"What about the other night?" he asked, finally breaking his silence.
"I had a brief lapse of judgment. It doesn't count."
He reached out and tugged me forward and I landed hard against his chest. Before I could open my mouth, his lips were on mine, his arms holding me tight against his body. He poured three months of pain, anguish and longing into his kiss and I took it all, drowning in our attraction and finally giving everything up to him.
Pulling away, he grabbed the handle of my suitcase and dragged it and me inside the room, the door slamming closed. Thinking about all the other metaphoric bangs in my life, I smiled against West's neck as his hands found their way underneath my clothes to the bare skin of my back.
"Pull a shit stunt like that again, Jake West, and I will rip your dick off and mail it to the biggest tabloid on the planet."
"Fuck, wildcat," he moaned into my hair. "Never. I like my dick just how it is. Preferably in you right now."
"That makes two of us," I replied wickedly as my lady parts began to awaken.
"Fuck, I love you."
"You're lucky I figured out I loved you, too."
West's lips curved into that handsome as fuck lopsided grin that I loved so much, before lowering to capture mine in another blistering kiss. He walked me back toward the bed and we collapsed on top of it, a mess of hands and lips and everything in between.
He was mine and I was his. The rest would come in time and with each other, we could overcome anything. West's chapter was over. My chapter was closing and now it was time to tell our story together.
The way it was meant to be all along.
There were a lot of things that I loved about Jake West. His cock was tied for top spot with his heart and both were mine.
I stood on a stretch of white sand, watching a storm out at sea as wave after wave pounded into my thighs. West waded through the surf, wearing nothing but a pair of dark colored board shorts and slipped his hands over my waist. Talk about a fucking tropical paradise, complete with a hot man to romp in the sand with.
"I'm glad you left your boyfriend at home," I said, pressing my lips against his collarbone, tasting the tang of salt.
"Who? Josh? He's on speed dial, though it's a non-issue." I gave West a look and he just laughed. "I don't think I'll be calling him any time soon."
"Good."
"It's fucking great, wildcat. This break was the best decision I've ever made."
It had been three months since I'd walked into his hotel room in London and said the three little words I'd been so afraid of. I love you. We'd taken the time to travel through Europe and see all the things that I'd dreamed about. Paris, Berlin, Prague, Rome and beyond. We did it all and it was everything West had promised it would be. The press finally backed off to a slow trickle and all the papers printed stories about our happily ever after. I'd rather call it happy for now, because life was an epic bitch and I still had a little of her inside me. I was still a realist and life wasn't anything like a romance novel, right?
"The person you've become, wildcat," West breathed, pushing my unruly hair behind my ear. "Fuck, you're so different from when I first met you in that dive bar."
"It wasn't exactly a dive," I said. "Upper-class wank-fest. A suit's delight."
"You still have your smart mouth, though." He nipped at the skin of my neck, his lips curving into a playful grin.
Letting out a soft moan as his tongue teased my skin, I retorted, "You're different too, you know."
"Oh yeah?"
"The music, the money, the fame…you never needed any of that stuff to get my attention. If you had nothing, I'd love you just the same."
His gaze snapped up to meet mine, that dark and dangerous look I'd come to love, heating up. "Say it again."
I looked at him like he was stark raving mad.
"Say it, beautiful." He slipped a hand down the front of my bikini bottoms and brushed his fingers against my clit.
"No fair," I said with a gasp.
"Say it."
"If you had nothing, I'd love you just the same."
He slipped a finger in between my folds, rubbing the flat of his palm against my clit. Running my hands up the back of his neck and into his hair, I tugged his mouth against mine and teased his lips with my tongue. He tasted like salt from the ocean, which only made me want more.
"Have you given any more thought to what you want to do?" he asked, pulling his hand away, chuckling when I groaned in disappointment. "You know, when I have to go back and start writing with the guys again?"
"I want to be your arm candy slut," I cried, swinging around, my arms in the air.
Catching me with a laugh, he pulled my body flush against his, waves lapping around our thighs. "You're more than arm candy, wildcat. If anything, I'm your arm candy manwhore."
"Delicious candy," I said wickedly, nipping at his bottom lip. "Wanna put that magical hand of yours back where it was?"
We could've been at any beach, someplace in the Mediterranean, off the coast of Greece or Spain, the Dead Sea in the Middle East…but we were tangled in each other off the coast of New South Wales, Australia, on some nondescript stretch of sand. A hundred kicks away from his parents place, a hundred clicks from home because wherever West was, so was I. I had no home, not anymore. West was it and who fucking cared? We were finally together, in fucking love and the world was finally cowering at our feet. Together we were unstoppable.
"I'm serious," he said, running a thumb across my cheek.
"So am I."
"B," he scolded.
"I don't know," I said with a shrug. "That's the thing, right? I'm not meant to know. We'll figure it out on the way."
"Are you a sure?"
"Positive," I said, pressing myself against his hard on. "As long as I'm with you, then the rest will fall into place eventually."
"I'd really like my dick to fall into you right now," he whispered into my ear and I threw my head back, laughing like I'd never laughed before.
"Now, that's what I'm talking about."
My happy ending was totally unexpected, unexplainable and unintended. Fuck, after a lifetime of heartbreak, I was going to milk it for all it was worth.

In real life I was Alexis Broadbridge, but that didn't really translate to an erotic romance cover. It was boring and plain, which was exactly what and who I was. When I let my imagination fly and my inner smut queen come out, I was sexy and wild Alexis Storm. Simply put, I was better on paper than I would ever be in real life.
"You've been pretty bloody direct since you opened that sweet little mouth of yours, so I'll be just as blunt."
Fuck. He thought my mouth was sweet? I just stared at him like Bambi in the middle of a highway about to be splattered by a long haul truck.
"I'm assuming you can feel that thing in the air." He gestured between us with a tattooed finger and my gaze dropped, trying to figure out what was inked there. Shit, this man was a puzzle and my over analytical mind wanted to solve him like a Rubik's Cube. Preferably with my tongue.
He reached out and grasped my face, making me look him in the eye and it almost sent me int
o overdrive. Yeah, I felt it. My nipples tingled, my pussy was convulsing, thighs were clenching, breath was coming fast…all the things I wrote about were leaping off the pages and into the here and now.
"I want you and I know you want me, too."
"You want me?"
"Every which way from Sunday."
He'd hardly touched me and shit, he hadn't even kissed me, and already I was imagining myself underneath him, on top of him…every which way from Sunday.
"I don't fuck random guys," I said blandly. I wanted him to say that he was the same, but if he was in a band, then that's probably what he did more often than not. How else would he be so good at this?
He smirked, letting me go and my heartbeat returned to normal. Fuck, I wished he would put his hand right back.
"No expectations."
"No expectations?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, except the orgasm part. That's a given." He shifted in his seat, rearranging his parts and I felt this overwhelming satisfaction tingle through my entire body. I'd affected him. "You want it, beautiful. I'm offering you an in and an out."
The seatbelt sign switched on and the plane began it's decent into Hong Kong. We'd be on the ground in ten minutes - at the gate in twenty. Time was running out. Did I want to go with this guy, who could be absolutely anyone, and let him have his wicked way with me? There was no doubt he lit my fire, but it was nothing but an expensive fuck and toss. I'd probably have to sit next to him on the next flight into Melbourne and wouldn't that be awkward town, population me.
But...nobody said I couldn't have my wicked way with him. I knew he was a typical alpha male, he liked to steer the boat, and I wasn't sure that had to be a problem as long as he could get me off, too. Plenty of guys were selfish fucks - they stuck their dicks in, moved in and out a few times, came and forgot what the fuck a clitoris was. Was this guy one of those?
"If you're worried about satisfaction, that's a non-issue."
"For you, maybe." I rose an eyebrow, wondering how he knew what I was thinking.
"I know where to put it, beautiful."
"Everyone knows where to put it, it's what you do once it's there that's the issue."
His eyes did this dangerous dance with mine, darkening in anger, lust, a mixture of both, I didn't know. Leaning over, his mouth was an inch from mine, his breath hot against my lips, but he didn't try to kiss me. "You are going to come and you are going to come hard. Multiple times."
I swallowed hard, my gaze locked with his.
"My treat." When I didn't move, he fell back into his seat with a chuckle. "We can be together until we reach Melbourne, if that's what you want. The moment we walk through customs and out into the real world, we part ways. No expectations."
"How is this so easy for you?" I asked, shaking my head as the plane filled with the dull thud of the landing gear extending. "Propositioning women?"
"You're making the assumption that I do this all the time."
"Do you?"
"I've never had to work for it and right now, you're making me work. Does that tell you something?"
The plane shuddered as it hit the tarmac and I jumped, not realizing how close to the ground we were. Fuck, I'd regret it if I didn't go. There was something charged between us, anchoring us together and I knew that the sex would be phenomenal. Why couldn't I practice what I preached? It could be classified as research…right? I mean, just fucking look at the guy.
The seatbelt sign switched off and other passengers began getting out of their seats, snapping open overhead compartments, but we just sat there staring at each other.
It slipped out of my mouth before I knew it. "Okay."
Mr November's lips curled into a satisfied grin, a sexy as fuck dimple appearing in his cheek. Without another word, he got up out of his seat and retrieved his bag.
"I don't even know your name," I said, staring up at him, my mouth already watering knowing that I was going to get my wish after all.
Holding out his hand, he grinned at me with a devilish look in eyes. "Joe."
Fuck, he was going to eat me up and spit me out, but I was already a goner.
