  Zafar looked toward Reyn and Aria alternately."Please." He pleaded.

  Reyn stares at Zafar full of doubt. Increased by one number is indeed profitable for them. But would that person be Zafar? Someone that can't do anything and considered only as a burden.

  "Zafar, I wanted to warn you before now to leave this place and not getting involved anymore. Your role is not in here, this is too dangerous for you." Said Reyn.

  "I know, before you already told me the same things. But . . . . " Zafar lower his head and fell silent for a moment then gulped."I already decided to atone my fault toward my father."

  Reyn frowned his forehead."What do you mean Zafar?"

  Zafar taking a seat in the long sofa exactly beside Aria."Hafiz said it to me if my father is one of that organization victim."

  "A victim?!" Reyn eyes opened wide.

  Zafar nods.

  "What is your father's name?" Reyn asked.

  "Muhammad Nizam." Zafar answered.

  Aria surprised while looking at Zafar.

  "My father is a historian that always trusted a myth and legend. My father is researching a history about an immortal human. That organization funding all of his research needs. They were hoping, my father will find something that can make profit for them. But when my father get what they wanted, and with whatever reason, my father hiding that fact and unwilling to share that information. Because of that they abducting and killed him." Zafar eyes were teary while telling that story.

  Reyn, Marsha and Aria stayed quiet. No word was come out from their mouth.

  "All this time I always think, my father is deliberately leaving us. Leaving my mom and me alone in misery. I always think bad about him and even hated him." Tears made Zafar cheeks wet.

  Inside Marsha's mind she was mocking Zafar that now was crying like a child. But for this time she still close her mouth tight, maybe because she was feeling sympathy.

  "I was never known about that truth."

  Reyn takes a short breath and then exhaling it slowly."Are you sure, you wanted to do this? Your life could be forfeit. You must be remembering about what happened to Faisal, right?" Reyn warned Zafar.

  A light of dread toning down his willpower a little. But he decides to strengthen his will for more and then nodded.

  "I didn’t know what a coward like you can do. But if you make any trouble and can only pissing in your pants, I will personally send you to hell." Threaten Marsha with her fierce eyes.

  Zafar looked at Marsha and later nods, as if telling her he was saluting an experienced senior. "I will take that into my deepest mind."

  Marsha grimaced when looking at Zafar obedient attitude like a good little child.

  "It will be best for you two to train on how to use a fire arm." Reyn suggesting while looking toward Aria.

  Zafar turn his eye direction to Aria. "I need your guidance." Asked Zafar sincerely.

  Zafar doesn’t know, does his choice this time is how he was venting himself to seek a salvation because he didn’t have anything anymore, or truly because of his guilt, because all of this time he was felt a prejudice toward his father. But, he truly decided without any care what will happened toward himself.

  "Back to the plan." Reyn looked to everyone alternately. "We will attack them directly without any trick. There’s is no other method. At the very least our brutal action will make them surprised."

  "I will call Lee Hayton. He will prepare special weapon for us." Said Aria.

  Everyone fell silent because they didn’t know who Lee Hayton is.

  "Is he your arms dealer?"

  "Yes," said Aria short.

  Reyn could see it, the weapons that Aria had is not usual. Her giant sword and her pistol is a special ones. A bullet from her pistol could penetrate a werewolf body easily, unlike any other normal pistol. Surely that Lee Hayton person is unlike any other person and he seems like an expert in weaponry. He could be a famous weapons maker that Reyn doesn’t know and seemed like his existence was made secret.

  "Did you need any money?" Later Reyn asked.

  "No." Aria answered short.

  Reyn sighed. "Alright then, I will meet someone to get some help and preparing every other important things."

  Everyone becoming silent. Their important meeting ends there.

  IRISE DELEGNERE

  After receiving a news from Rudi subordinates if the evidence identification result was out, Ichsan hurried to meet them and looked at the result. For several days Ichsan was restless because he waiting that result.

  “How is the result?” Ichsan asked.

  A police officer giving Ichsan a piece of paper.

  Ichsan frown his forehead. Why they didn’t tell me directly with their own mouth? Ichsan thought.

  Ichsan taking that piece of paper and at that moment when he read it, his eyes opened wide to see that.

  The weapon that used to kill Fahri, is Sofian pistol.

  "What the hell is this?!!" Ichsan staring at that police in front of him with furious face.

  "I was also surprised, sir." Answer Ismail, that police which giving that piece of paper toward Ichsan. "We reported this to Mr. Rudi and he gave us a search warrant, to search evidence at Sofian work desk and his house."

  Ichsan couldn’t say anything. Suddenly his thought is overloaded and as a detective, for the first time Ichsan didn’t know what to do.

  "At this time Anton and the other is searching Sofian working desk. We can go there to see it, sir." Ismail suggested carefully.

  Ismail was afraid to offend Ichsan’s feeling and made him angry. Ismail know it well, Ichsan relationship with Sofian is close enough. For a partnership, they were a good partner and team. Their collaboration is astounding and made the other detective was often biting their fingers because of envy of Ichsan and Sofian achievement and always succeed to handling any case.

  Every police officer that know Ichsan, know it well if Ichsan didn’t like to work as a group. For Ichsan having many subordinates or co-workers is truly difficult for him. One partner is more than enough. Entirely different with Rudi and the others. And Sofian is a perfect partner. It was seen clearly by other if the both of them is respecting each other.

  "Let’s go!" Ichsan take a fast step to go toward Sofian working room followed by Ismail at his back.

  When they are arrived, there is 3 police officer that seemed busy rummaging Sofian working desk. And all of them is Rudi trusted subordinates.

  "How is it? Did you find something?" Ichsan asking, throwing his sight all around the room.

  Nothing was changed. Sofian working room is the same as always. Smooth without any painting or even a flower vase above his desk. There’s only a filling cabinet made by a glass which was large and full of thick book and archives that always be read by Sofian.

  "We found this, sir." Anton approaching Ichsan and giving him a stack of paper that he found inside Sofian desk drawer. "These papers was there inside Sofian desk drawer. Seems like this is a reprimand letter from Mr. Fahri to Sofian, sir."

  Ichsan once again surprised. He taking those papers and reading all of it fast.

  As what Anton said, those papers is filled by reprimand words from Fahri which was sent to Sofian. One of them is because Sofian was dared to take the octopus monster sample and examined it without any permission from his superior.

  Heat filling Ichsan’s brain. How could Sofian get that reprimand letter and Ichsan does not get it? Ichsan is the one that giving Sofian order to take its sample. Fahri is also never talking about all of this before and seemed like there’s is no trouble at all. Then, how could there be a reprimand letter at Sofian desk drawer?

  "Sir? Ichsan, sir?!" Anton called Ichsan.

  "Are you alright, sir?" Ismail asked because of worry.

  Ichsan waking up from his daydream. He lifted his face to look at Ismail and Anton alternately.

  "Yes, I am alright." Said him in doubt. "Keep on the good work!"

  Anton and Ismail could see Ichsan face c
olor that becoming pale. However both of them can only nods in silence and didn’t dare to say anything. They immediately help the other 2 police. Rummaging and searching for any other useful evidence for investigation.

  All of this is wrong. That is what Ichsan think and believe. There is something wrong. But even though he was know where that fault is, it’s still hard for him to take action.

  Even though every evidence was found and all of accusation was directed to Sofian, Ichsan still can’t believe if that young man did all of that. Ichsan know that young man well enough. Sofian is only thirst for knowledge. Sofian didn’t have courage to use his weapon to hurt another people if he’s not being cornered in dangerous situation. And Sofian is not an expert on using fire arms.

  Any other people perhaps will be deceived by this founding. But it is just an opposite for Ichsan. Now everything is becoming clear. His suspicion toward the police department and also his uncle was now answered.

  IRISE DELEGNERE

  Evan approaching Berial that stayed at his room. That giant creature sat in the floor near the corner of the wall, near a balcony.

  "How are you? What's in your mind?", Evan asked while taking a seat at Berial left side.

  As usual, Berial didn’t answer because he can't speak. Berial can only sat in silence with his eyes looking at the entrance door. But Evan still liked to throw a question toward Berial.

  "You know, I had recently meet with Aria. I wanted to have a decent talk with her and telling her everything. But . . . She's too angry with me. I truly loved her and meanwhile she hated me." Evan let out a bitter smile.

  Berial turn his head toward Evan. His eyes looked at Evan without blinking. Berial can't fully understand Evan words. But Berial could hear Evan words and Berial had a great interest of Evan's voice. Every time Evan speaking, Berial will turn his head toward him and always looked at Evan till he stopped to speak. His behavior like a little child that enthusiastically listen to fairy tales that was read by his parent.

  "She really made me crazy Berial. Her body aroma is intoxicated me till my desire flared up. I am addicted to her. When I was close to her, I wanted to own her." Evan sighed heavily. "I even betting your life for her. If only she was willing to forgive me and wanted to become my lover, I think, no problem for me to betray this organization. I'm sorry Berial." Evan pleaded weakly.

  Berial still unmoved and looked at him with flat expression.

  A guilt was seen clearly at Evan face color. There is wound and regret hidden in it, behind his behavior that seems usual and always calm.

  Berial maybe could not remember everything. But, Evan could remember it. Their past, before they meet with David, before they were considered as a part of that organization.

  Evan still remembered, at the times when he can’t do anything and can only laying at his bed. Berial, his twin brother is always there for him, becoming a support of half Evan disabled body when he was still a little child.

  It felt dark and truthfully painful, Evan didn't even want to remember it. But only inside those dark memories, Evan could find Ivan real figure. Ivan that now he call Berial, his twin brother which now sat beside him and looked at him without any expression.

  Yes, Evan and Ivan is born as a twin. Both of them born from drug addict and alcoholic parents in acute level. Because their parent bad habit, Evan was born with a good immune system but half of his body had a disability, from below his waist till to his foot is paralyzed. Vice versa with his brother Ivan that born with perfect physique but his body immune system is bad. Because of that even though Ivan is more fortunate than Evan, Ivan is often becoming sick and can't do a busy or heavy job.

  Inside that terrible situation, their parents was often tormenting them. Their mom and dad truly hated them and at one occasion nearly kill Evan that always be considered as a burden.

  Evan can even still remember what hopelessness is. Can’t do anything, and can only become a burden for other people. Every time Evan hear a harsh jibe and insult from their parent, there was a slight wish inside Evan's mind to end his own miserable life's. But Ivan is always protecting and taking care of Evan kindly. Ivan truly loved his twin brother and pleaded to Evan to stop saying hopeless things.

  When Evan and Ivan is 12 years old, their dad is killed by debt collector and not long after that, their mom was taking suicide. After that incident, Ivan doing everything he can for both of them. Ivan worked day and night for only they could eat some food.

  Evan was feeling useless. He could only lying weak at his bed, he could not even taking care of himself. Meanwhile, Ivan must taking care of him and worked hard till he was often sick. Evan also often to see Ivan returning home with pale face. After returning home and preparing food for Evan, Ivan was often lying weakly at his bed all day like a corpse. Not moving at all because of weariness and holding the pain from his usual fever that was often comes to attack him.

  And when he had a time, Evan and Ivan always spending their times to talk. Ivan will talk about his job and whatever he saw out there. About other people behavior around him, how funny and annoying they was, and how much fun when he was there at the middle of them.

  Evan always listen to Ivan story enthusiastically with happy face. Especially when Ivan telling him at his work place there is a beautiful girl worked there. That beautiful girl is always helped Ivan especially when he was tired. With full of kindness, that girl willingly switched to Ivan's work and then doing her work at the later time.

  There is a slight envy inside Evan's mind. He was indeed wanted to feel those various feeling that can made various interesting expression in Ivan's face. But Evan could only hide that feeling inside his heart and didn't dare to convey it. Even though Ivan is always said if he wanted to show everything he tell toward Evan. Ivan promised to bring Evan outside so that Evan could enjoy life just like a normal people. Ivan will gather enough money, becoming rich and searching a way to cure Evan. That is a far away dream for both of them. As if those dream is only a pleasant word for them to strengthen their will.

  However, even though those dream is only just a pleasant words, Evan truly feel happy. No things that could make him feel fortunate except a truth if he had a kind twin brother like Ivan. A brother which never complaining and always protecting him even though Evan is only a burden.

  As an older brother, Ivan is a perfect figure. And even now at this very time, Ivan still guarding and protecting Evan but in another figure, that is Berial.

  12 years ago, when Ivan and Evan still 15 years old, the destiny make Ivan meet with David at his workplace at healthy food store. David is one of their new and frequent customer, and he always come whenever that shop is nearly closed for the day. For a few times, Ivan talking with David that looks so kind and friendly. David always giving him a tip.

  And at that night, Ivan fell unconscious when he is on the way home because of weariness. David that accidentally seen him immediately helping and bring him home. At Ivan's home, David was surprised when finding that Ivan had a disabled twin brother.

  Not long after that, David offering something to Evan and Ivan. David call it 'a new life project'. With David skill as a scientist, Evan and Ivan can be born as a new person. But the two of them must leave their country and go along with David. There is some scientific research test that they must partake.

  Not even a slightest lie comes from David words. He told them if the success rate of this method is only 50 percent. Perhaps there could be only one of them that could succeed, either Evan or Ivan. But it was possible if both of them failed or even succeed. The purpose of this project is to perfecting a genetic structure of some person that was imperfect. And the chance of success is bigger when they were a twins.

  Hearing all of that, giving a big hope to Evan and Ivan. For them to realize their dreams, both of them agree to take David offer. Even though both of them know if that method had a side effect and the success rate is only 50 percent, but wasn't the miracle could happen? When will the poor such as
them could have this rare chance like now? Working in all his lifetime, Ivan still not sure if he could gather enough money to cure Evan.

  Ivan truly wanted Evan to be cured. Ivan biggest dream is to see Evan can walk or even running like the other normal human. Ivan wanted to show him many things. It was enough for Ivan to see Evan suffering. Only laying at his bed and could not do anything. Lonely, receiving many insult from another people, and always be viewed by one eye. Ivan sure is realize, if he didn't take a chance that was given by David, there will be no other chance for Evan to be cured.

  Evan is also thinking the same. It was enough for him to burden Ivan. All this time Ivan do many things for him. Evan didn’t want to see Ivan fall ill because worked hard only for him. If he always forcing himself, Ivan could be had a severe illness and he could be dead. This is a big chance for Evan to do something for his dearest brother. Ivan is worthy to have a good and normal life even though that life is without Evan at Ivan's side.

  Evan and Ivan didn't care anymore if that scientific method could only save one of them and snatch away another. All this time their life is felt very hard for the both of them.

  With his disabled body, even though that scientific method is not fully success, Evan was sure Ivan will be fine. In his eyes, Ivan had a bigger chance than him. And when he was thinking all of that, Evan felt relieved. Without any doubt he signed the agreement letter.

  But, the thread of destiny bring another story for this twin brother. Evan genetic structure is far more compatible with the serum that was resulted in the research. Evan could pass through the process perfectly while just the opposite was happened with Ivan.

  Because of Ivan weak immune system, even though their genetic structure is the same, Ivan body could not hold the side effect of that serum. He was changing completely into terrifying monster. Ivan is still alive but unconscious for several years.

  And when he become conscious, Ivan immediately go berserk and even killing a few of scientist in the organization. But when he heard Evan voice, Ivan become calmer and stopped his rampaging. Ivan can only hear Evan voice and command that connected with him because of their strong bonding.
