Q: Home Wrecker. Wow! This was a very sexy and intense novel. Very different from your previous works. Why?
A: Thank you! I really just wanted to get away from doing just relationship drama. I don’t want to get pigeonholed into doing one type of story only, because that would limit me as a writer, and that’s just something I wanted to keep from happening.
Q: Well, you definitely got away from it! So tell us about Ms. Thang, Lisette. Where did she come from?
A: LOL. Ms. Thang. I like that. Lisette . . . she just came to me one day. I don’t remember where I was or what I was doing, but she walked up to me and just told me that she was a home wrecker, and that I had no choice but to listen to her story. Lisette is my femme fatale. I had a lot of fun with her. She’s sexy, fierce, arrogant, cold, at times even downright ignorant. You’ll love her, hate her, and then love her all over again. Maybe hate her again too. I’m really going to miss her.
Q: Any chance of you bringing her back?
A: I don’t really do sequels, but with the way the book ends, there may be some opportunities for her to reappear.
Q: The other characters in the book all had their own skeletons and twists to their personality. Why?
A: I just really wanted to present a dynamic group of characters who all had issues, as we all do, that would add a lot of different elements to the story. I like flawed characters. I think they’re more memorable when they are flawed.
Q: Oh, everyone in this book is unforgettable, that’s for sure. It was a great read!

Q: What’s next for you?
A: I’m working on another intense novel, titled Betrayal.
