Rookery Cove: Breakwater

Page 3

by Kira Stone

  “And sea slug came from…?”

“He can’t hold his water, not completely.” Airk fluttered his raised wing a bit which Gavin took as a sign of irritation. “Everywhere he went there was a trail of slime behind him. You know, like a slug.”

Gavin wanted to ask more questions, but Baen was now within hearing distance. He looked a little smaller than before. Gavin put that down to the change in perspective. Or maybe it had something to do with the blue shorts he was wearing.

“Well, you two look mighty cozy,” Baen drawled as he reached them.

Airk nipped Gavin’s jaw, then pushed himself up with his arms and his wings at the same time. “Took you long enough,” he said as he rose into the air. “Take good care of him until I get back.”

Gavin watched Airk spiral away. Baen thrust a digit at the sky in a sign of displeasure, then turned to Gavin again. “Sorry about the delay. Although from the looks of things, maybe I should have taken longer.”

“What kept you?” Baen dropped something into the grass beside him. Gavin picked it up, inspected it. “You went back for my coffee mug?”

“Didn’t want you to get fined for littering.”

Gavin didn’t think that was the real motivation, but he appreciated the gesture. That coffee mug had been with him a long time. He would have been sorry to lose it. Speaking of losing things… Gavin sat up to inspect his leg. It throbbed, but the bleeding seemed to have stopped. It really didn’t need much TLC at all.

Baen squatted down beside him. “Does it hurt much?”

“It’ll be fine,” Gavin assured him. “In fact, if you help me over to my tent, I think I have something that’ll take care of the problem right away.”

“Your ‘duck tape,’ I suppose. How does one make tape from water fowl anyway?” Immediately he held up his hands. “No, don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.”

Gavin chuckled. “It has nothing to do with that kind of duck.”

He placed his cool, damp hand on Gavin’s leg, near the tear in his flesh. “As much as I hate to admit it, I think we’d better wait for Airk. He has a gift for tending to the injured.” He flashed a wicked, sexy grin. “I’d be willing to kiss it and make it better though.”

“Why don’t you try kissing my lips instead?” After the words were spoken, Gavin held his breath. He didn’t know what made them slip out like that, but he wasn’t willing to take them back. He really did want to find out what it would be like to kiss the blue-skinned creature.

  “I thought you and Airk…”

Gavin nodded. “Is that a problem?”

“Not for me, but it may be for him. He’s the monogamous sort.”

“So am I. But we haven’t made any promises to each other. I’m just…” He didn’t know what he was doing. Winging it, he supposed. For whatever reason, it had become equally important to him to learn about Baen as he had Airk. “I’d just like to kiss you. But if you aren’t interested, I understand.”

Baen literally lunged at him, knocking Gavin onto his back once more. He scarcely had time to suck in a surprised breath before Baen was on him. This was no sweet surrender, but a full frontal assault. Baen didn’t ask for permission to cross beyond the barrier of his lips. He attacked with teeth and tongue and lips, seducing his way inside. Gavin held onto him, intrigued by the wet yet solid feel of his body, as he tried to match the water man kiss for savage kiss.

“Want you,” Baen panted out. “Want you bad.”

Gavin could relate. His cock hadn’t deflated for well over an hour. It was amazing he hadn’t come from sheer sexual frustration. However, he wasn’t willing to go further until the three of them worked out the ground rules of physical engagement. “Ditto. But, Airk will be back soon. I don’t want him to feel left out.”

Baen broke away with one last stinging bite. He didn’t go far though. “What do you say we get ready for him?”

  “What do you mean?”

“You need to get out of these clothes.”

An aggravated screech ripped through the pale blue sky. Gavin looked up to see Airk circling lower, as if looking for a place to land.

“Uh-oh. Someone has their beak out of joint.”

Airk did look rather like a thundercloud this time. He slashed through the air rather than drifting on it. When he zeroed in on an area, he practically hurled himself to the ground. He landed with a thump by Gavin’s side, the full pouches at his waist jingling from the force. Almost immediately he sat, as if his legs had collapsed under him.

Gavin decided to nip this attitude in the bud before the angry birdman got his hands anywhere near his injured thigh. He put out his hand to touch Airk’s proud, stiff back. “I really enjoyed kissing you,” Gavin admitted. Airk’s only response was a disdainful snort, so he continued. “I enjoyed kissing Baen too. It’s been a long time since I’ve been with anyone, and to find two males I’m attracted to at the same time is a bit overwhelming. Until we can figure out how to handle it, I’d rather remain on friendly terms with everyone.”

“I’m not good at sharing,” Airk replied.

  “See? Told ya,” Baen commented.

Gavin waved him to silence. “I didn’t do anything with him that I didn’t do with you. And I won’t, at least not until we decide what’s best for all of us. Can you deal with that?”

A little bit of the tension went out of muscles along his spine. “Yeah, I can deal. For now,” Airk muttered.

Though still not completely mollified, Airk got to work. He set out supplies from his pack and began to clean the wound. Whatever he was using didn’t sting the way Gavin expected. Instead, it almost felt… erotic. Was it just being near that wicked scent again, or was there something more in the liquid he was using?

“You know, this would be a lot easier if you took off your shorts,” Airk pointed out when he pushed the material out of his way for the fifth time.

Gavin wasn’t wearing any underwear. If they were going to have sex, that would be different. For medicinal purposes, he preferred to face the situation like a man. One who wore shorts. “Errrr… I’d rather not.”

“You seemed pretty open to sharing yourself this morning,” Baen reminded him.

“I didn’t know either of you were there. I was just… trying to relieve a little tension.” He had to be blushing to the roots of his ginger hair.

“Well, this time you don’t have to go it alone,” Baen announced. “I’m all for getting naked.”

He whipped off his shorts before anyone could stop him. Gavin glanced down at Baen’s groin where an impressive column of rich blue water surged up from his lap.

“One size fits all,” he said with an immodest chuckle. “It’s adjustable.”

An adjustable cock? One that could fill any orifice to perfection? Gavin’s brain seized up in lusty anticipation.

“The sea slug isn’t the only one willing to strip down,” Airk said gruffly.

If this was a dream, Gavin wanted to keep dreaming. Two naked males within his reach in one day. It must be a record for him. Okay, so he hadn’t even known they’d existed until that morning. But he did find them attractive. Not only that, he liked them. They were so dissimilar, but they were good men in their own quirky ways.

The problem was in choosing between them. Gavin couldn’t. His efforts to heal the environment were going to be seriously hampered if one became offended by his rejection. He’d have to abstain from sex with both of them, at least until the immediate crisis was solved. Unless…

Gavin sat back, his legs splayed out so that the damp fabric of his shorts pulled taut over his rising erection. He ran his fingertips over its hardening length and asked, “Anyone interested in a three way?”

  Chapter 3 -- Tango a Trois

Airk was the first to break the silence. “I’m not sure that’s such a good idea.”

“Why, because you two didn’t work out?” It was a valid reason. Gavin hoped they could get over it. The more he thought about this, the more he really
wanted a threesome. Not just for the sexual release it would give him, but also because he was beginning to suspect these two men cared a lot more for each other than they were willing to admit. They just needed to get over whatever argument caused them to separate. And if he could be the sexual buffer between them, Gavin was all for it.

“It’s not a problem for me,” Baen offered.

  Airk didn’t look convinced.

Gavin plucked a long string of grass and wove it through his fingers, occasionally glancing up at the other men as he spoke. “Unless I’m way off base here, Okibi’s perfume, or whatever that stuff is, is affecting each of us. We’re all going to have to do something about it or risk permanent damage to our peckers, so why not do it together?”

“Kind of like group therapy?” Baen suggested, a cocky smile firmly affixed to his smooth, pale blue face.

“I’m not puking up my emotions for you two to dissect,” Airk protested.

Although it wasn’t what he had in mind, a little lurch in the area of his heart as Airk quelled the possibility of an emotional connection told Gavin that he was perhaps trying to attach too much meaning to this sexual encounter. He was only going to be here until he got the seaweed beds on the road to recovery. Falling for one -- or both -- of these males wasn’t a smart idea. They had to keep it light and friendly. “How about sharing your body instead?”

  “With both of you?”

Gavin nodded. All or nothing. It was the only fair way.

Baen got to his feet. The process was more one of water flowing upward rather than muscle and tendon moving in coordination. “If you’re worried about me running my mouth, I promise what happens here will stay between the three of us.”

“Damn right it will,” Airk growled. “As I said, I don’t like sharing.”

“Yeah, I heard you the first time, bird beak.”

Airk scowled, his expression as black as the volcanic sand in Hawaii. Gavin put his hand on the back of Airk’s leg, relishing the feel of roughened hair against his palm as he spoke. “Let’s just see how it goes. If you get uncomfortable, you can bail any time. No hard feelings, okay?” Gavin waited for Airk’s nod of consent, then turned to Baen. “No hard feelings. That goes for all of us.”

“There’s only one thing hard about me, and it isn’t my feelings,” Baen joked.

Airk rolled his eyes, but it didn’t keep Gavin from picking up the hint of a smile turning up the corners of his lips. “Before we do anything, I’m fixing that wound. That is, if you’ll get those damn shorts out of my way.”

Gavin leaned back on his elbows. “I think I’ll need some help.”

Both of his companions reached for him at the same time. Gavin held his breath, not wanting to end up like a bone being fought over by two junkyard dogs. A consulting glance decided the matter, and each one took a side. They drew the wet material down his legs. All Gavin had to do was briefly lift his ass.

Baen’s cold, damp hand skated up the inside of his leg, starting at the ankle. “Not bad, for a human.”

“The sea slug over there is a leg man, in case you hadn’t noticed,” Airk confided as he went back to doctoring the four inch long perforation in Gavin’s thigh.

“Not exclusively,” Baen protested as his hand continued its journey up Gavin’s leg. “There are other parts I like too.”

“Save some for me.” Airk put the cap back on a plastic vial of purified water. “We’ll try butterfly strips to hold the wound closed. That way we can avoid stitches. It’s still going to hurt though. Let me give you something for the pain before I start.”

Gavin shook his head. “No, I don’t want anything.”

  “Why not?”

“Because I’m already stoned on whatever is making me imagine you two are real.”

Baen chuckled, his fingers tracing complex patterns on the sensitive flesh just south of Gavin’s balls. “Do what you have to do, Airk. I’ll find a way to distract him.”

Though not visibly convinced, Airk once again bent over his task. “If you change your mind, holler. Sedation is only one scream away.”

Gavin had to bite his lip from doing just that when Airk pinched together the ragged edge of the wound. He must have made some small sound though, for Baen stopped his teasing game and crawled up beside him. “Kiss me, Gavin. Don’t think about what he’s doing, and kiss me.”

It was easy to oblige. Baen lowered his head over Gavin’s. Their lips met, first lightly, and then with increasing pressure. Those carnal kisses they’d shared before Airk swooped in were nothing compared to the gentle seduction Baen used now. Teasing forays of his tongue left Gavin gasping for more. He didn’t taste of salt, but rather of mountain spring water. Clean and clear, with just a hint of evergreen. His gut tightened as a fresh wave of lust broke over him.

The pleasure didn’t last long. Gavin’s whole body jerked in alarm as a starburst of pain shot up his leg. Immediately, Baen’s hands were in motion, soothing him back into a sexual haze. More kisses kept his mouth occupied. His hands roamed Baen’s back. His skin was comparable to that of a dolphin, Gavin silently mused. At least when he went by touch. By sight, he was still trying to get used to a man who looked transparent when wet and got darker as the moisture evaporated.

Baen wiggled closer. Gavin could feel his cock pressing against his hip. He cupped his ass with both hands, kneading the toned, damp flesh. The water creature arched into his grasp.

“Is there something special about humans we need to know?” Baen asked, in between a string of kisses he left down the column of Gavin’s neck. A light breeze blew over the damp trail left behind, causing Gavin to shiver.

“Special?” Gavin couldn’t think of a thing. In fact, he was finding it hard to think at all as Baen thrust his tongue through Gavin’s nipple ring, grazing the nub. Between Okibi’s perfume, Baen’s kisses and the attraction he felt for these two, Gavin couldn’t find so much as a pair of words to rub together within his lust-laden brain.

“Yeah. To, you know, get you off.”

The thought of climaxing under their combined attention caused his pulse to leap. His cock too. And then doubt slammed into his gut. What if he couldn’t give them what they needed? Their sexual package looked the same, but that didn’t mean it functioned the same as his own. Had he just started something he wouldn’t be able to finish?

“I’m almost done, so I know I didn’t put that look on your face. What gives?” Airk asked him.

Gavin felt heat rising to his cheeks. “I didn’t think… I mean… What if I can’t…” Where was the rogue wave now, when he badly needed one to drag him under and out of this embarrassing situation?

Airk finished taping a large gauze square over the wound, then used his wings to raise himself up to his full height. In a minimum of quick, efficient motions, he dropped his belt from around his waist, quickly followed by the utility kilt. Standing naked, proud and erect, he said, “I figure with a little trial and error, we’ll do okay.”

Trial and error, huh? Gavin glanced down at the thick, almost golden erection jutting out from Airk’s waist. Suddenly he didn’t so much mind the idea of being their sexual guinea pig. “Tell me what would feel good. Tell me what you want me to do.”

“Don’t move much,” Airk suggested, even as Baen said, “This.” Baen snaked his tongue over Gavin’s right nipple. Cold and wet, the act triggered the birth of whole sexual galaxies in his bloodstream.

“My turn,” Airk said gruffly. He returned his full weight to the earth, then sank down beside Gavin. Almost defiantly, he licked the same nipple Baen had.

Gavin shuddered this time as heat rippled through him. Hot and cold, another set of extremes between these two men. He held his arms up in invitation. “Come closer, both of you.”

Airk furled his wings, and hugged Gavin’s left side. On the right, Baen stretched out and pressed against him. With his hands at his sides, he was able to grasp a cock with each. Even if he had his eyes closed, he’d be able to tell them
apart. Airk’s practically radiated heat perceptibly warmer than Gavin’s own body. In the other, he could feel the flow of… of what? Blood? Water? Gavin didn’t know. But whatever substance flowed through Baen’s body, it brought a steady supply to his hard cock. Cool and damp, just like the rest of him.

His hands rode over their long, hard shafts as he contemplated the possibilities. Heat delving deeply into a wet, yet tight tunnel. A cool cock thrusting into a heated glove. Fucking each other until their temperature reached orgasmic levels…

Gavin lifted his hips off the ground, seeking some relief for his aching erection. No doubt, it wept salty droplets that instantly cooled in the ocean breeze.

“I think our human is eager,” Baen observed. His fingers toyed with one of Gavin’s nipples.

“Like you’re not,” Airk shot back.

Gavin’s thumbs rubbed over each cock head, circling the sensitive skin. They both sucked in a sharp breath. Apparently they weren’t polar opposites in all things. Gavin smiled to himself over that.

“Let’s see how you like it,” Airk challenged him.

Steel heat banded around Gavin’s cock. Airk didn’t so much pump his shaft as squeeze it, one finger at a time in rapid succession. The effect was like thrusting into a tight ass, so much so that Gavin wasn’t sure he’d be able to tell the difference between the flying man’s hand and the real thing. It felt so good…

“Stop,” Gavin ordered between heavy pants.

Immediately, Airk released him. “Something wrong?”

  “Coming. Too soon.”

“I thought that was the point,” Airk protested.

Gavin rolled his head from side to side, but in ecstasy or in denial of Airk’s statement, not even he could say. “Not… by myself.”

“Something for everyone, is that what you have in mind?” Baen asked him.

Gavin nodded as he continued to gulp down air. That had been so close. His body felt like it was on fire from the need to climax, almost as if he were fifteen again and at the mercy of his raging hormones. Would sex on the island always be like this, or only when one of Rookery Cove Aphrodisiacs’ products pushed them over the sexual cliff?
