“I keep trying to hold it in. It’s embarrassing. I can’t stop how wet I get. I need to go wipe up.” Josie rolled and he and Chance were so stunned by her comments they almost let her get away. But before she had a chance to get on her side, they had her pinned back where they wanted her.

Sam dragged three of his fingers through her slick folds, relishing the silky fluid that coated his fingertips. He held his hand up in front of their three faces. “This? This is what is embarrassing you?” He watched as Josie nodded her head.

Sam took all three fingers greedily into his mouth and sucked all the sweet cream off. He chuckled as he heard Chance groan. Every time Sam thought he understood all the levels of Josie, her hurts, her insecurities, her naivety, he learned something new. How could a woman this beautiful and this passionate not realize what a treasure she was? He looked up at his brother, and saw the same look of disbelief. Then he had another thought.

“Josie, honey, is sex normally painful for you? Intercourse, I mean.” Sam watched as color stained her cheeks and chest.

“Don’t even bother opening your mouth, Josie, ’cause the next words were going to be another lie, weren’t they?” Sam stared at her intently.

“It isn’t always painful, and I’ve liked everything we’ve done so far.” Josie tried to placate Sam.

“Zee, didn’t you ever get aroused and wet with your boyfriend?” Chance asked her gently, as he stroked her breasts. Sam watched her carefully, knowing that what she didn’t say was often as important as what she did say.

“Not like with you two,” she answered quietly.

Sam put his hand back between her thighs and gently inserted two fingers into her vagina, going up to the second knuckle. “Would it hurt when he did this, honey?” He watched as she bit her lip, and she finally nodded. “Every time, even after the first time?” She nodded again.

“Damn him.” Josie jumped at the vehemence in Sam’s tone.

“Shhhh. It’s okay, Zee. Everything’s going to be just fine,” Chance crooned. He shot Sam a hard look.

“Zee, you need to be aroused and wet so that penetration feels good,” Chance said, and Josie turned her head to look up at him. She just stared at him, debating whether to believe him or not. “Well, if we weren’t aroused, we wouldn’t be able to penetrate you at all, now would we?” Chance smiled and motioned over to Sam’s very hard dick. It seemed no matter how dark the conversation, Chance was always going to make Josie smile.

“I know how sex works,” Josie grumped.

“We want to teach you how lovemaking works.” With those words, Sam swirled his two fingers counterclockwise in Josie’s pussy, and she tried to arch up, but Chance stopped her, keeping her in place. “There’s our good girl, give us more of that silky cream that we love so much.” Sam scooted down on the bed, eager to taste and suckle Josie before actually fucking her. God, if ever a woman deserved a million orgasms, it was this one.

One long swipe of his tongue had him nuzzling her clit. He reveled in her cry. When he looked up he saw Chance’s arm holding tight around her waist, while his other hand was tangled in her hair, holding her for a torrid kiss. Sam pulled out his fingers and parted her wider, spreading back her clitoral hood, amazed to see how red and engorged her clit was. He parted his lips and started to suck on it like a lollypop, making slurping sounds. She kept tilting her pelvis up and up, the silky liquid of her arousal coating his chin, then gently he nipped with his teeth and she screamed.

Sam reared up, and nudged her entrance with his cock. He had thought that with her release she would be more relaxed and better able to accept him, but instead it was like she was a fist that was holding him out. He pushed in a little harder, but her entrance seemed tightly closed. He backed up, and suddenly both of her hands gripped his shoulders.

“In me, please. Now,” Josie gasped at him, her eyes glazed.

“Baby, I don’t want to hurt you.” She tilted her pelvis so that it hit the tip of his cock, and he looked down, once again seeing that sultry flutter at her vaginal entrance.

“Now, I need you. I need more.” He watched for a moment, waiting for her to flutter open, then he pushed in and her entrance sucked over the head of his cock, pulling him in deeper to her wet hot depths. He pressed forward a little more, and she lifted her knees, trailing her hands down his back to his butt, and pulled. He sank balls deep.

“Perfect,” they both said in synch, and Chance chuckled, his eyes avidly looking at where the two of them were joined. Sam started to pull out, to start the rhythm that would bring them both the release that they were seeking, but as before, her body protested. She had clamped down on him, and he was afraid to pull too hard and hurt her. He tugged again, and watched as she gripped Chance’s hand.

“Give me a minute,” she panted.

“It’s okay, baby, I love being inside you,” Sam assured her. Her internal muscles pulsed around him, and he worried that if she continued he would erupt in orgasm without being able to provide for her.

“Zee, close your eyes, and take a deep breath, and then let it out on a three count. Can you do that for me?” Chance asked. Josie immediately complied. By the time she was done, Sam was able to gently slide outward.

“Oh, that feels so good,” Josie sighed. Sam pushed back in, and once again felt the pull of her body greedily pulling him in to the root. She released a breath, and he moved back out and they fell into a beautiful rhythm. Sam lifted her left leg just a little higher and plunged back in, causing Josie to gasp as he hit that delectable set of nerves in her channel. From then on, every inward stroke hit those nerves, taking her higher and higher. Through slit eyes, Sam saw his partner, tugging at Josie’s nipples, but still carefully keeping her in place. He also saw Josie’s face becoming more and more flushed as her cunt pulsed tighter and tighter around him, until finally the universe flashed before both of their eyes.

Josie felt two cool cloths soothing down her arms and legs. When she tried to move, to help, she was shushed back into that calm sense of peace somewhere between wakefulness and sleep. She considered being embarrassed when she felt her buttocks being parted and cleaned as well, but she decided against it, too blissful at the moment to care.

“We can’t leave this on her.” It was Chance’s voice.

“She uses these like she would a brace. Normally, I would agree with you, but considering how bad her pain was, she probably needs it on until morning.”

“Look at how the laces are digging into her skin.” She felt tender fingers moving over her flesh.

“We’ll buy her corsets with silk laces,” Sam said. Josie felt the warmth of a heating pad pressed against her back, and then she felt each of the men get into bed on either side of her.

“Do you think she understands we mean to keep her?” It was Chance talking again. Josie didn’t like the fact that Sam never answered, but she could feel his arm tighten around her, so she let that be answer enough for now.

  Chapter 10

“I beg your pardon?” Josie looked up at the four men standing in her shop, taking up all of the air. It had been the longest week of her working life. Apparently, providing baked goods for the school carnival was extremely important to the inhabitants of Fate Harbor. It was now also clear to Josie that nobody in town knew how to bake but her. No wonder the Matushkas had retired.

“We want to buy everything in the display case.” It was Thursday at 1:00 p.m. The carnival was Friday. Josie had just filled the display case for the third time today. She barely had enough in the back to replace what they were going to purchase, so the idea that these four men wanted to clear her out in one fell swoop was ridiculous. What’s more, they were hardly the typical customers. So far, most of the people who had come in were harried parents who needed to bring something in for their child’s classroom.

“Don’t forget the special order we need,” the biggest one said. Josie stared up at the man who had to be six foot six. He had white-gold hair, and the chiseled cheekbon
es of the Nordic races. Having been here a while, she would have guessed he was a Norwegian fisherman.

  “Special order?” Josie asked.

“We need a cake that looks like a fire truck,” he said.

Josie thought a moment, knowing that she had some pictures she could show him of a cake she had done like that while working in Florida. “When do you need it?”

“Tomorrow, for the carnival.” Josie’s face must have given away her dismay, because the man standing beside the giant immediately intervened.

“I’m so sorry, Miss…Josie, isn’t it? We know we were supposed to order this last week, but there were two fires the day we had planned to do all of the carnival planning. Normally, we go into Snoqualt to get this cake made. The kids really look forward to it, but we wanted to give the business to you. Now we’re in a pickle because we didn’t place the order with anyone, and we don’t want to disappoint the kids. We’ll help you anyway we can. We know this has to be one of the busiest times of year for you, and unless there is a fire, we’re normally just hanging out at the firehouse, so you can put us to work.”

“Why do you need to buy so much other stuff?” Josie finally thought to ask.

“We have a booth that is a major attraction. One of the big things we do is sell baked goods. Normally, Jace sets us up, but he said to come to you. All of the proceeds from our booth go to the Fireman’s Fund. We do a dunking tank, fire truck rides, and bake sale.”

“Why not skip the bake sale part, and just donate that part of the money straight to the charity this year?”

The one with the wicked gray eyes smiled at her and answered, “Because you’re single.”

  “Huh?”

“You’re not married, you’re cute as hell, and we now get to spend countless hours as your kitchen slaves. How is this not a good thing?” Josie watched as the smooth-talking second-in-command hit him really hard in the arm. Meanwhile the Nordic giant flushed a bright red.

The fourth man burst out laughing. “Leave it to Joshua to tell it like it is. We promise to look but not touch. Josie, have a heart. There’s nothing wrong with flirting, and what’s more it’s fun to give Chance and Sam a hard time.”

“Whoa, just hold your horses. I can’t keep any of you straight. I caught on that you two blonds are brothers and you’re all fire fighters, and apparently there are currently no fires. I also caught on that you need me to pull your collective asses out of the fire, pun intended. But how do you know about Chance, Sam, and I? And why the hell does it matter that I’m single, and what the hell do you mean about kitchen slaves?” Josie ran out of breath, but if she hadn’t it was obvious she could have continued. Elise let out a belly laugh behind her.

The last man who talked, who was the shortest at a little over six foot two, stepped forward with his hand out. Except for the difference in height he could have been the twin of the Nordic Giant. “I’m Dane Johansen, and you can probably guess which one is my brother Eric. The smooth talker is Ian Ransom, and the straight talker is Joshua Parker. My brother and I are second-generation residents of Fate Harbor, and we heard about you the second you moved into town. Unfortunately, the forest fire over on the Olympic Peninsula kept us from coming over to introduce ourselves sooner.”

“So how do you know about Chance and Sam?”

“Betty,” they all said at once. Josie had to laugh.

“And what has Betty been saying?”

“That you are off the market, but that it never hurts for a girl to know she’s attractive.”

“Here, here,” said Elise. Joshua went over to the older, happily married woman, and looked her dead in the eye. “And how has Ed been treating you lately, sweetheart?”

Oh, my God, there must be something in the water around this place. Josie looked at the three men in front of her, and couldn’t believe the level of mouth-watering testosterone. It made her want to call Sam and Chance to put out her own private fire. She cut her eyes over to Elise who just gave her a huge grin and a thumbs-up.

“And it’s not what Dane said,” Eric piped up. “We’re not over here trying to build up your self-esteem. Trust me, kitten, if Sam and Chance hadn’t already staked a claim I’d be over here as often as I could because you are all kinds of fine.” Josie just looked up at the giant with her mouth open, not knowing how to respond.

Dane jumped back in. “Yeah, my brother’s right, but Sam’s a good friend of ours, so we promise to be on our best behavior. Josie, we know we’re putting you in a jam, and we really want to help you out, that’s why we’re offering you our services as kitchen slaves. We’re a block away from the firehouse, so if something happens we can respond immediately, but barring an emergency, we’re yours. We also promise to help you out during the next big event too!”

“Okay, boys! If you really mean to clean out my stock, but want to help me out, then sit your butts down over there and we’ll get started.” Three out of the four sat down, while Joshua continued to flirt with Elise. Josie went to the back, and found her book with the pictures of the old fire truck she had made back in Florida. When she showed it to the guys, they seemed really impressed.

“This is better than the one the bakery in Snoqualt ever provided,” Ian said.

“What do you need us to do?”

“I’m going to need one of you to make a run to Snoqualt for foodstuff and craft supplies. One of you will need to man the front, since Elise is going to be in the back doing decorating with me, and two of you will be mixing and baking. Who’s good for what jobs?” she asked.

  * * * *

Chance hadn’t realized just how disappointed he was going to be to not see Josie. He had worked hard to get her to purchase Sweet Dream Desserts, but now that she was here, he resented all of the time she had to spend working. He had to figure out a way for her to get more free time. What’s more, all of this work couldn’t be good for her back.

As he pulled into the parking lot, he was surprised to see so many cars, but then he remembered that it was time for the school carnival. Both Betty and Josie had mentioned it, and that was the reason for all of the extra hours. When he went into the shop, he was pleasantly surprised that someone besides Elise and Josie was manning the front, so that meant she had finally hired on extra help. At least he was happy until he realized it was Joshua Parker. Granted, Joshua was a good friend of Sam’s, but he still was one of the most eligible bachelors in Fate Harbor, so what was he doing working for Josie? What’s more, he had a job. Chance had to stand in line behind five others, and as he waited his turn, Dane Johansen came out carrying a tray of cupcakes to add to the display case. What the hell was going on? Dane saw him and gave a nod as he made his way to the back of the shop.

Weary of waiting in line, Chance made his way past the display case and went to the back of the shop. There he saw Ian Ransom mixing batter, and Dane picking up more cupcakes from Elise and Josie. Chance really wanted to demand what in the name of all that was holy was going on, when Ian looked over at him with a sly grin on his face. It was at that moment that Chance realized his chain was being yanked by three of his friends. He looked over at Josie, who was looking pretty tired, and come to think of it, so was Elise.

“Hey guys! It looks like you have a handle on this. Do you mind if I take my two best girls over to Hart’s for a break?” Ian’s face broke into a warm smile.

“I think that would be an excellent idea, Chance. It’s good to see you.” Chance turned to Ian, who nodded in agreement. While Elise and Josie cleaned up and provided instructions to their helpers, Chance texted Sam to meet over at the diner. By the time the drinks arrived at the table, Sam was there. Chance had some fun with his friend explaining how Josie had a new team of helpers over at the bakery, and Elise immediately caught on and enjoyed torturing Sam as well. Seeing Sam simmer, it was finally Josie who put a stop to it.

“Don’t worry, Sam. Apparently, Betty has put the word out that the three of us are an item, and she told those guys they were to keep t
heir hands to themselves.” Chance saw that Sam was immediately put at ease, but he noticed that Josie looked a little uncomfortable about the whole situation.

“Josie, my savior!” Jace leaned over the table and kissed Josie on the mouth, and then winked at Elise. “How are you enjoying carnival week?” he asked.

“I’m wiped out, mentally and physically, and I’m almost out of inventory,” she said with a laugh up at the big man. Chance liked how Josie got along with everyone in the small town. He didn’t like all the kissing and the hugs from the different men, but he did like that she felt so at home in the town he considered his home.

“Dinner’s on the house for the ladies,” offered Jace. “I suggest the grilled halibut. I was going to bring some over this afternoon and tomorrow, anyway. I know what you’re going through, believe me. Gotta run.” Chance watched as he headed back to the kitchen.

“It looks like you’re doing good enough business to hire a helper,” Chance said.

“Right now any extra profits are going to my sisters. I want to make sure they have everything they need for their first year. They were talking about getting jobs, but I don’t want them to put their scholarships at risk.” Elise just rolled her eyes behind Josie’s back.

“Zee, didn’t you and Betty figure all this out before you moved here?”

  “Yeah, we did.”

“Aren’t you doing a lot better than you anticipated?” Chance motioned Karen over and they all placed their orders.

“Yeah, the shop is doing a lot better, especially with the deal I worked with the Harts. But I just want to make sure that the girls are covered. I might not send them all the money. Some of it I’m putting into a rainy day fund.”

“Honey, you’re working a lot of hours,” Chance began.

“Chance, how the hell do you know so damn much about my business? Did Betty and Butch tell you about my finances?” Uh-oh, he had better figure out how to back out of this, and fast.
