“You are so fucking perfect. I don’t think I’ll allow you to wear clothes ever again.”

  She flushed at his compliment.

He leaned down to kiss her, and the whole world faded. There was no snowstorm. No closed airport. No broken family obligations. Only him. He was the only thing that mattered in this moment, and she eagerly kissed him back, tangling her tongue with his and moaning into his mouth. She couldn’t seem to keep herself from moaning every time he kissed or touched her.

His huge, hard cock throbbed against her inner thigh. She tried to angle her pussy lower, in order to feel his manhood sliding through her wetness, but he wouldn’t allow her the movement. He grabbed onto her shoulders and held her still as he kissed her as soundly as he’d spanked her only moments ago.

When he finally withdrew from the kiss, he moved down her body, paying attention to her breasts and her stomach, kissing and licking and even gently biting her flesh.

“Please, Warren,” she whimpered. “Please, I need you.”

He pressed two fingers halfway into her pussy and she groaned at the exquisite sensation of finally being filled up, even if it was just his fingers and not his cock quite yet. “What do you need, little girl?”

“I-I need you in-inside me. Please.”

He shoved his digits in and out of her, even adding a third one. “I am inside you.”

“That’s not what I mean and you know it. Please.” She’d never begged any man to hurry up and plunge his cock inside her. Not once in her life. Not even her ex-fiancé, whom she’d dated for three long years. But here she was, pleading for Warren to fill her up and pound into her. She needed his big cock like she needed air to breathe.

She became hopeful when he pulled his fingers from her pussy and settled his body atop hers again. This time, he wedged himself between her thighs, forcing her to spread even wider than before. He reached for the condom – halleluiah – opened the wrapper, and rolled the rubber onto his massive shaft. She noticed the discarded wrapper was labeled “XXXXL.” Four extra’s sounded about right. He’d probably had to special order them.

He met her eyes and positioned the tip of his engorged cock at her entrance. “Is this what you want, little girl? A good, hard pounding?”

“Yes, please. Do it. Now.” She didn’t care how desperate she sounded.

When he plunged inside her, filling her up all the way with one hard drive, she cried out in pleasure.

  Chapter 3

Megan’s pussy clamped down around his cock. Holy fuck, she was tight. So tight his vision swam and he almost spilled himself inside her after the first five strokes. But he soon took a deep breath and summoned the control to give her the proper fucking she craved – and deserved. He’d promised to be rough with her and he was a man of his word.

He gripped her hips and drove in and out of her, slowly at first, while she writhed and panted beneath him. Her hair was now in disarray and her face was flushed. His heart skipped a beat whenever he stared into her pretty blue gaze. He sensed her inner strength, but he also sensed a fragility about her that made him feel like a goddamn caveman ready to drag her back to his mountainside cave and never let anyone else near her again. Someone had hurt her, once, he could see it in her eyes. But he could also see her resilience and her determination to move on and not become stuck in the past, to not become trapped by the tragedies she could not erase.

Or perhaps he was seeing himself in her. He didn’t fucking know. All he knew was that she felt perfect, like her pussy was made just for his cock. Gradually, he increased the pace of his thrusts. He gripped her hips harder, his balls slapping heavily against her bottom with each plunge into her tightness. The headboard repeatedly hit the wall and her breasts bounced with the movements of their fucking.

“Now that I think of it,” he said in a stern tone, “you were very, very naughty. Perhaps I ought to be rougher with you.” With that, he commenced driving into her as fast as he could, giving her the hard pounding that she’d been promised. The kind of fucking that said I own you now. “That’s it, little girl. Take it. Take all of it.”

Urgent moans and whimpers drifted up from her. She pressed her eyes shut and her mouth parted in a perfect O. Then her pussy clamped down tighter around his cock and she cried out, undulating her center against his. His blood heated at the sight.

  She was coming.

The feel of her insides constricting around his length propelled him into his own release. He came in torrents, wishing he could be coming inside her without the condom. Soon, he told himself. Soon he would fuck her without anything between them. His bare, unsheathed cock in her wet, tight pussy.

“Oh, Warren,” she said, her face twisting with pleasure.

He groaned as the last remnants of his release waved through him. Then he withdrew from her pussy, disposed of the condom as quickly as possible and came back to the bed, where he immediately wrapped her in his arms. She nestled her head against his chest and ran her fingers through his chest hair.

“How are you feeling, Megan?” he asked, hoping he hadn’t been too rough with her. He hadn’t been able to hold back.

“Quite satisfied,” she said with a smile touching her voice. “So satisfied, that I think I shall endeavor to score a spot on Santa’s naughty list next year.”

He chuckled and leaned down to place a kiss to her forehead. She sighed and snuggled deeper into his arms.

Megan pulled the cookies out of the oven and set the pan on the counter. She snuck a peek into the living room and her heart warmed to see Warren sitting there, patiently waiting for her to return so they could finish their movie. Today was Christmas Eve and they’d spent the whole day together. In fact, they’d spent almost every second of every day together since the day they first kissed… and made love. He’d even spent the night in her apartment every single night since then.

Apparently, despite being on the naughty list this year, she’d gotten a big, handsome silver stud for Christmas. She grinned to herself and set about placing the cookies on a cooling rack, then she got another batch ready to go in the oven. Since she couldn’t visit her family in Florida, she’d decided to bake all her cookies anyway and pass them out to everyone in the apartment building.

Yesterday, she’d covered the first three floors, but she still had to visit the fourth and fifth floors. About half the inhabitants in the apartment building had stuck around for the holidays – or been forced to because of the nor’easter – and she intended to bring them all a bit of Christmas cheer.

Once she got another batch of cookies in the oven, she started tidying up the kitchen, her thoughts going to Warren. She felt a bit guilty that she knew more about him than he realized she knew. She’d found out lots about him online, well before they had even shared their first kiss. He was a well-known history professor and he’d written several books about the Revolutionary War – all of which she secretly owned and kept hidden in a drawer in her bedroom. He was also a widower, and her heart broke every time she thought about it. During her searches, she’d discovered his wife had been struck and killed by a drunk driver over three years ago. He had never remarried. She’d also learned that he used to live on the outskirts of town, but his house had been struck by lightning last year and burned down.

Of course, Warren hadn’t offered up any of this information to her. He seemed to guard his heart, but given the tragedies he’d suffered over the years, she couldn’t say she blamed him. She hoped he was truly having a nice holiday here with her, as he claimed to be, and that he wasn’t pining for his family in Maine.

She glanced around her apartment at the many Christmas decorations, thankful that she’d decorated even though she hadn’t planned to spend the holidays in her apartment. She just loved everything about Christmas and hadn’t been able to help herself. She’d put her tree up the day after Thanksgiving. Hopefully, the festive atmosphere was cheering Warren up. She could only pray. All her problems, like fleeing Florida after her fiancé cheated
on her, seemed to pale in comparison to the misfortunes Warren had endured.

She couldn’t help but wonder if she was his first relationship since his wife had passed away. But no, surely he had dated other women during the last three years. With a stab of jealousy, she wondered how many. Handsome as he was, it was hard to believe he had been single until just a few days ago. She grinned as she thought about how he’d made her understand she now belonged to him. He’d cupped her pussy while they were in bed and said, “We’re together now, in case you were wondering. That means you’re my girlfriend now, Megan. And this belongs to me.” He had then proceeded to squeeze her pussy hard. A delightful shudder ran through her at the memory of his highhandedness.

Once she returned to her place on the couch next to Warren, he wrapped an arm around her and hit play on the movie. She snuggled against him, as content as could be, and hoped that maybe, just maybe, they might have a future together. She hoped this wasn’t simply a holiday fling, the two of them thrown together because of the weather and mutual loneliness.

“Are you planning to visit the fourth and fifth floors this afternoon?” he asked.

“Yup, right after this batch of cookies is finished.”

“While you do that, I’m going to Facetime my brother’s family. I promised I’d do it tomorrow, but I think I’ll do it tonight so I can spend every second of Christmas with you, little girl.”

Little girl. Every time he called her that, she melted.

  “Sounds like a plan.”

And so, an hour later, after their movie was finished and Megan had all the cookie tins filled, Warren went to his apartment to call his family while she ventured up to the fourth and fifth floors. She had a great time passing out the cookies on the fourth floor, but when she came to the fifth floor, she got a bad feeling the moment she stepped off the elevator.

As she walked down the hallway, she noticed Mr. Heath’s door was ajar. As far as she knew, he’d left to visit family outside town before the storm blew in. The roads were still treacherous and she doubted he would have returned before Christmas anyway, as he’d planned to spend the holidays with his grandchildren.

Alarm bells went off in Megan’s head, but she kept walking toward the apartment, hoping she was just being silly and nothing was really amiss. But when she reached the door and peeked inside, she saw two figures wearing dark clothes moving around in the living room. Her stomach flipped.

She opened the door a bit more and noticed the men were each carrying a large bag, and one of them was walking toward a flat screen TV.

“Help me unhook this, Bob. We’ll get at least a hundred for it at the pawn shop.”

Holy shit. Robbers! She moved out of the doorway and glanced around, but she saw no one else in the hallway. She hoped none of the other residents of this floor opened their doors anytime soon and ran into the thieves. She knew she should leave this floor at once, but she hesitated, not wanting any of the other residents to accidentally run into the robbers. Two of the families on this floor had children and she hated the thought of harm coming to any of them.

Perhaps she ought to scare the thieves away. She remained outside the doorway, not quite looking in, but close enough to hear them if they walked near the exit with their plunder. Hmm, how should she scare them? Too bad she’d left her cell phone in her apartment and she couldn’t even call the cops right now.

But when she heard their footsteps approaching her, and at the very same moment the door to apartment 5B opened, an idea suddenly came to her. She drew a deep breath and belted out, “Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful…” and sang on and on, pretending she was a Christmas caroler.

The robbers appeared in the doorway, both of them staring at her with a stunned expression. Both men were shorter than her and relatively scrawny, and she wasn’t so frightened anymore. She kept singing and stood in front of Mr. Heath’s apartment, pretending she was there just to sing to them, hoping to keep them inside before any of the children ran out of apartment 5B.

From the corner of her eye, she saw that only Angela had exited 5B. Her kids and husband weren’t with her. When Megan came to the end of her song, she smiled wide at the thieves, trying to pretend she was oblivious to what they were actually doing in Mr. Heath’s apartment, and said, “Merry Christmas! Have some cookies. They’re my grandmother’s recipe.”

Angela gasped and hurried back into her apartment, shutting the door with a resounding bang. Megan breathed a sigh of relief, knowing Angela was definitely calling the cops at this very moment.

Neither of the robbers accepted her cookies and she started doubting her plan. But she kept smiling, believing if she made them believe she hadn’t a clue they were thieves, that they wouldn’t hurt her.

“Uh, we were just leaving. No, thank you,” one of the men mumbled, while his partner elbowed him in the ribs.

“No cookies? Are you sure? They’re delicious!” She opened the lid of one of the tins and held them up proudly. “Here, have an orange one. They’re my favorite.” Since the men had their hands full, she then proceeded to shove a cookie into the dark-haired thief’s mouth, soon followed by one in the blond guy’s mouth. She’d never seen two men look more surprised. Their eyes practically bugged out of their faces. Clearly, they must both think she was delusional.

“Good, aren’t they?” she asked as they chewed their cookies as crumbs fell on their shirts and onto the floor. “See, I knew you’d love them! Here, have a whole tin of them. It’s Christmastime, after all.”

Sirens suddenly blared nearby and both men dropped their bags.

“Shit! Let’s get the fuck outta here!” The blond guy tossed the small flat screen TV behind him, and both men rushed past Megan and scurried for the stairwell.

“Hey, wait! Don’t you want your cookies?” She couldn’t restrain a giggle as the stairwell door slammed shut behind them. But when she glanced at the open elevator door as Warren emerged, her stomach dropped to the floor. He looked pissed, his eyes like a thunderstorm.

He rushed to her side and grabbed her by the shoulders, looking her up and down as if to make sure she hadn’t been harmed in any way. “Megan, what the hell were you doing just now? Were you actually offering cookies to those men? They aren’t from our building. They are probably thieves.”

She smiled, feeling a bit smug, despite the look of displeasure on his face. “Oh, they were thieves, all right. But I stopped them.”

“You what?” His hands tightened on her shoulders. “Megan Lynn Anderson, tell me you are joking.”

“Oh, she’s not joking,” said Angela, standing in the doorway of her apartment with her husband. “She sang them Christmas carols and offered them cookies. Good thing, too, or I would’ve run straight into them as I left to get the mail.”

“Is that so?” Warren asked, his gaze hot on Megan.

“We sure appreciate your help, Megan,” Angela’s husband, Steve, said. “That’s some good quick thinking right there, I’ll tell you what.”

“It was my pleasure,” Megan said, as she slowly extracted herself from Warren’s grip. “Here, have some cookies. Merry Christmas.” She passed them a tin and they accepted graciously.

After Angela and Steve returned to their apartment, shouts sounded outside in the parking lot. Megan and Warren moved to the window at the end of the hallway and looked out to see two police officers, each of them wrangling one of the thieves into handcuffs.

“Do you think the cops might appreciate some cookies?” she asked, although she knew she was pushing her luck. She could feel the waves of tension rolling off Warren. Clearly, he didn’t think much of her attempt to stop the thieves.

“Young lady, we are going to discuss the way you put yourself in harm’s way very soon, but right now I’m going to go down and talk to the police officers. I’ll let them know which apartment the thieves targeted.”

“Okay, fine,” she said, pouting. “Can I at least finish delivering cookies? I thi
nk the Masons and the Bertrains are home.”

“Very well,” he said, his eyes still flaming with anger. “But this discussion isn’t going to be a pleasant one for you. I promise you that.”

“Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.” It was hard to feel contrite when she’d just thwarted a pair of robbers. “But take these cookies,” she said, passing him two tins, “and give them to the cops, please. If they need to talk to me, you know where to find me.”

The police requested to speak with Megan, and Warren stood by while she described the events that had transpired on the fifth floor, from the second she’d stepped out of the elevator and had a bad feeling, to the instant the thieves had hightailed it to the stairwell.

Warren couldn’t believe what Megan had done. Instead of leaving the fifth floor the moment she realized Mr. Heath’s apartment was being robbed, she had stuck around to sing Christmas carols to the thieves and even offered them cookies. Unfuckingbelievable. While he appreciated her reasons for doing so, she had very much risked her safety.

  He wouldn’t stand for it.

Once the police officers left, Warren stared down at Megan.

He crossed his arms as he considered her punishment.

“Megan, you’re lucky those men weren’t armed. You’re lucky they didn’t try to hurt you.”

She sat straighter and lifted her chin, looking much too proud for his liking. “They were short and scrawny. I took taekwondo in high school. I could have kicked their noses in, had they tried anything.”

He grasped her arms and pulled her up, peering into her eyes as his frustration and anger grew. Ugly emotions rolled through him, heartbreaking emotions. He’d lost the woman he loved once. He would never, ever let that happen again. Not if he could help it. One way or another, he would make Megan understand that risking her safety under any circumstances was completely unacceptable.
