Once he was spent, he collapsed, still holding her legs over his shoulders. She began giggling and tried to pull her legs out of his grip, but he wouldn’t let go. He liked her like that. All open and leaking their combined fluids around his spent dick.

“I don’t think I’ve come that long and that hard ever,” Jack said.

“You did seem to go on forever,” she agreed. “Can I have my legs back now?”

He released her legs and chuckled when she groaned as she lowered them. She slapped his bald head and rolled over to her side. He climbed higher in the bed as soon as he could draw a complete breath. He curled up around her and listened to her soft snore. He thought it was funny she’d fallen asleep first. Whatever had been wrong, she’d resolved it somehow. He was just glad she was back to normal.

Jack settled around her and prayed they would make it back without incident. He was ready for the next meet-up so they could end this thing. He was anxious to return to his old life and hopefully continue his relationship with Nina. He knew without a doubt he loved her. He wasn’t so sure she loved him, though. He thought some days she just cared about him and other days she seemed more deeply connected to him.

If they all got out of this alive, he planned to invite Freak to their wedding because he was definitely going to ask Nina to marry him. He just hoped she would say yes.

  Chapter Eighteen

Nina woke the next morning to Jack eating her pussy. He stabbed her with his tongue then licked from ass to clit, studiously avoiding the little nubbin. She groaned and tried to chase his tongue with her cunt.

“You’re finally awake,” Jack said from between her legs.

“It just got interesting,” she told him.

Jack laughed and then sucked on her clit, making her rise off the bed with the pleasure of it. Then he backed off, licking down her slit instead. She reached down to hold his head, aggravated for the first time that he didn’t have hair she could hold on to. Grasping his bald head didn’t give her any leverage, and she finally gave up and settled for rocking her hips in time to his tongue thrusts, hoping for a deeper penetration.

“You want me inside you, baby?” he asked.

  “Yes, yes, yes. Hurry.”

He climbed up her body and positioned himself at her opening then drove forward in one long surge. She grinded her teeth to keep from screaming at the assault. It felt so good. He drew back until he was almost out of her and did it again. She rose to meet him. The deeper he went, the hotter she became. The heat spread throughout her body, threatening to consume her. She moaned, thrashing her head from side to side, unable to be still with the sheer pleasure of having him inside her.

“Fuck, baby, take me. Take all of me.”

She thrust her hips up to take him. Over and over, he speared her with his cock. Just when she didn’t think she could take any more, he reached between them and pressed on her clit, and she shot off like a rocket. He body shuddered with the climax as he spilled inside of her. She could feel the cum hit her womb as he ground his groin against hers.

“What a way to wake up,” she said.

“I could get use to waking you up that way,” Jack said.

Nina just looked at him, then smiled and wiggled beneath him.

“Okay, let me up. I need to get cleaned up.”

“So do I. I’ll join you in the shower. I’m going to call next door and make sure Freak’s awake first. You go on and start the water to getting warm.”

Nina knew when he wanted to talk to Freak without her. She couldn’t figure it out but had resigned herself to just accepting it, like she had a lot of things. She knew there was nothing she could do to get out of this mess safely. She’d decided that when the time came, she would die trying. The alternative was inconceivable for her. Since she’d made the decision to make the best of it until then, she was a lot more settled. She didn’t get panicked like she had before.

Freak still freaked her out on occasion, but for the most part, she was getting use to him. He scared her, but he didn’t threaten her anymore. And because she hadn’t had another dream including him, she felt better. The thoughts of him sexually had almost driven her crazy. It wasn’t like her. She would never want another man’s hands on her at the same time Jack’s were.

“How’s the water?” Jack asked as he climbed into the shower with her.

“Hot. Just the way I like it.”

“You’ll scald us both like this,” he complained.

  “You’ll live.”

“How are you feeling this morning?” he asked her.

  “Fine. Why?”

“Just wondering. You didn’t seem to feel very good yesterday morning.”

“I’m fine now. I was nervous about everything,” she said.

“What do you want for breakfast?”

  “Hmmm, pancakes and sausage.”

“Sounds like an IHOP breakfast,” he said.

She finished washing and climbed out of the shower, leaving him to finish alone. She dried off and dressed then answered the door and let Freak in after checking to see who it was.

“Morning, Nina.” He gave her a half grin.

Nina didn’t think he’d slept well. He looked stressed and tired. She wanted to ask if he was okay but didn’t want to start a conversation with him. Instead, she walked over to the coffee maker and made coffee. She offered him some then poured a cup for Jack when he came out of the bathroom. She kept the length of the room between her and Freak. If he noticed, he didn’t comment on it.

Jack walked out of the bathroom with his jeans on but unbuttoned at the top. She watched a drop of water roll down his chest to disappear behind his jeans and wished they were at home so she could trace the water as it pooled at his pelvis. Here and now, though, they had business to take care of.

“Nina wants pancakes and sausage. How do you feel about IHOP?” Jack asked Freak.

  “Sounds good to me.”

“You packed and ready to go?” he asked her.

  “Yep.”

“Let’s haul ass. I want to get this done. I figured we would ride a while then take a hotel room on the way back. I want as far away from the merchandise as possible,” Jack said.

Nina couldn’t agree with him more.

They ate a quick breakfast and got back on the road. They would be in Albuquerque by three, it looked like. They’d made good time. Nina was glad everything was almost over. They stopped just inside the city limits to get something to eat. They didn’t plan on stopping on their way out of town for anything.

Once they finished dinner, they drove across town to the warehouse where they were supposed to drop off the guns and ammo. When they approached the warehouse, several men stepped out and stopped them.

“Who sent you?” a short, hefty man asked.

  “Reaper,” Jack said.

  “Who’s the woman?”

“She’s my bitch. We needed the cover.”

“Back in to that loading bay over there.” He pointed to one on the far right.

Jack nodded and followed his directions. They remained in the truck as the others unloaded the furniture, then the guns and ammo. Nina kept her face down and concentrated on her hands the entire time. She didn’t want anyone paying attention to her. Jack squeezed her with his arm around her shoulders.

“What do we do with this shit that came off the truck?”

“Don’t care, trash it. We have to take the truck to a drop-off point and leave it,” Jack told them.

  “Shit,” the short man said.

“Hey, we got the stuff here safely,” Jack reminded him.

“Get your sorry ass out of here.”

Jack pulled the truck away from the loading dock and drove them out of the warehouse district. They got back on the interstate and headed for the other side of town where they were to drop off the truck. Nina let out a relieved sigh as soon as they were back on the road on the bikes. Her relief was short-lived. Less than an hour later, they were pulled over by two hi
ghway-patrol cars.

  * * * *

Jack cursed and pulled over. Freak was right beside them.

“Nina, just act natural. Don’t worry. We don’t have anything on us.”

  “Were we speeding?” she asked.

“No. I was being very careful not to.”

They all three got off the bikes and stood with their hands out to their sides. Jack was glad Nina followed their lead. She looked nervous, though. He hoped the cops would put it down to being pulled over and being a woman.

“Gentlemen and lady. Where are you headed?” one of the officers asked.

“To Texas. Is there some problem, Officer?” Jack asked

“This one’s got a gang tag on his bike,” the other officer said.

Freak shrugged and remained quiet. Jack was glad they hadn’t been pulled over with the truck. Their asses would have been fried.

“Mind if we check your bikes?” the first officer asked.

“Not at all, Officer.” Jack would cooperate anyway he could to get this over with.

“I want all three of you to go to the first car and put your hands on the hood,” the first officer said.

Jack ushered Nina over to the patrol car and showed her how to stand. She turned terror-filled eyes to him and he mouthed “it’s okay” at her. He wasn’t sure it registered, though because she was trembling.

“I’m going to frisk you, so all of you be still,” the second officer told them.

He swiftly checked them, paying special attention to their boots, looking for knives. He was glad they’d agreed not to carry weapons. The man told the other one they were clean and walked back over to their bikes.

One of the officers called back to them, “Mind if we open your saddlebags and look in them?”

Jack looked over at Freak. He gave a subtle nod that it was fine with him.

“Not at all, Officers. Go right ahead.”

After a few minutes the officers walked back over to them and told them they could stand up. They looked at Nina, and the first officer drew her away from Jack and Freak. Jack worried she wouldn’t know what to say and would screw them up. They should have discussed more with her. Shit.

The second officer began asking them questions about what they were doing in New Mexico and was the girl with them of her own accord. Jack hoped Nina didn’t decide to take an out with them. She didn’t realize they would expect her to rat out the entire gang.

A few minutes later, the first officer led her back to them, and the two officers stepped aside to talk.

  “You okay, Nina?” Jack asked.

“Yes, he asked a lot of questions. I hope I did okay. I was scared I would say the wrong thing.”

“Like I said, just stay cool and be yourself.”

The two men walked back over to them. They looked at Nina for long minutes, and then the first one spoke.

“Don’t see anything wrong, so we can’t hold you. I’ll be honest with you, though. I think the woman is scared of you two and won’t admit anything. You”—he pointed at Freak—“look guilty. You better hightail it out of New Mexico before we come up with a probable cause to haul your asses to jail.”

“We’re on our way out now, Officer,” Jack told them.

They turned and walked back to the bikes and climbed on. Jack checked the traffic and pulled back onto the interstate as soon as there was a lull in traffic. The two patrol cars followed them all the way to the state line. Jack was relieved when they didn’t pick up a tail at the state line on the Texas side. He had worried they would radio ahead and warn them they were coming. Evidently, they figured the three of them were Texas’s problem and left it at that.

  “You okay back there, baby?”

“I’m okay. Better now that they are gone.”

“Know what you mean,” Jack said.

“I can’t believe they pulled us over just to harass us,” she said.

“It’s like African Americans being pulled over just because of who they are. It sucks.”

“When are we going to stop for the night?” she asked.

“In another hour. I want to put some distance between us and the state line now.”

They rode for another hour and fifteen minutes before he found a decent hotel to stop at. They were making good time now that they weren’t hauling the trailer behind a big truck. They’d be back at the other hotel by noon the next day.

“I never thought I’d say that I would be glad to see that place again, but I guess better the devil you know than the one you don’t,” she said.

They checked in only to find out there was only a double room left. He took it. They had all seen each other naked anyway. They were only going to sleep. He didn’t feel much like anything else, and he was sure Nina didn’t either. He walked back to where they stood by the bikes.

“Only one room, but it’s got a double bed so we’ll be fine,” he told them.

Nina looked at him and started to say something but changed her mind and just nodded. Jack was glad she wasn’t pushing it. There was nothing he could do other than keep riding, and they were all three exhausted from all the stress.

He opened the door to the room, and the three of them piled in with their packs. The room looked clean enough. The checked both beds, and the sheets appeared to be fresh.

“Why don’t you go shower first, Nina.”

“Thanks, I really want one. I feel nasty.” She grabbed her pack and disappeared into the bathroom.

They both heard the lock click. Jack started across the room to tell her to unlock the door, but Freak just shook his head.

“Don’t push it man. She’s dealing, and that’s all we can expect.” Freak told him.

“Yeah, you’re right.” Jack stretched and sat on one of the beds. “I’m glad that part is over with.”

“Now we need to find out where the next meet-up is so we can end this thing. I’ve been under too long. I’m beginning to believe my damn cover,” Freak said.

“Hold on, man. We’ll be through this soon. Reaper is bound to trust me enough now to let me know more. Plus, I’m supposed to run this end of the operation. He might tell me and expect you, me, and Dewayne to go on our own. Not the best possible scenario, but workable,” he said.

“I’d rather he were there to make it a cut-and-dry case. Maybe you can allude that you aren’t quite comfortable with the people and want him along for the meet-up.” Freak leaned against the wall and crossed his arms.

“Are we all going in to be processed together?” Jack asked.

“Yeah, we’ll be pulled out once we get to the station. You need to prepare Nina to go along with the police when they showed up. You can tell her right before we leave to go to the meet-up.”

“I don’t know. I’m thinking letting her act natural and maybe telling them she isn’t part of the gang might work better. Let them handle her as if she’s lying. I hate to do that to her, but otherwise the others will know it’s a setup.”

“You’re probably right.” Freak uncrossed his arms and shoved them in the pockets of his jeans.

“What are you going to do after this case is wrapped up? Go on to another one?” Jack asked.

“Nope, I’m out of here. I’ve used up all my nine lives, and too many people around will recognize me if I don’t clear out of Arizona. Can’t go back to California either.”

“Ever thought of staying in Texas? I could use some help at my shop, and you seem to know your way around a bike.”

“You’d let me work for you?” he asked.

“Yeah, or you could just crash at my place until you figure out what you want to do,” Jack said.

“I’ll think about it. Thanks, man.”

A few minutes later, the shower turned off. Jack could imagine Nina drying off. She’d have water dripping off her luscious breasts. He’d love to be in there licking it off. His cock stirred. He hadn’t thought it possible with everything that had gone on. It didn’t matter though. He wasn’t going to press Nina
for sex. She was exhausted and strung out. She needed rest.

When she came out dressed in a T-shirt that barely covered her pussy, his cock stood up and he had to adjust his jeans. Freak laughed at him and gathered up his stuff to shower next. He was still laughing as he shut the bathroom door.

“What is he laughing at?” Nina asked, furrowing her brows.

“Nothing. We were just talking about how much better we felt now that we were in Texas and almost back at the hotel.”

“How much longer ’till we are out of this, Jack? I really don’t think I can do this much longer. I’m a nervous wreck.”

“Not much longer. A couple of days, maybe.”

“How are you getting us out, and what’s to stop them from coming after us again?” she asked.

Jack had been afraid she was going to ask that. She’d waited a long time before she had. He wasn’t sure how to answer her. He should have had something ready to tell her.

“I don’t want to tell you, baby, so that you won’t accidently give us away. I know you wouldn’t mean to, but it’s best if you don’t know.”

She stared at him with a frown on her face. She wasn’t happy that he didn’t trust her. There was nothing he could do about that. All he could do was hope she would understand once it was all over. He purposefully didn’t answer her other question, hoping she would forget about it. Telling her why they wouldn’t be coming after them again would give too much away. Either she did or she figured he wouldn’t tell her anyway. It wasn’t a good way to establish trust in a relationship, but this wasn’t your normal situation either.

A few minutes later, Freak walked out of the bathroom in a pair of jeans.

“You might want to give it some time to warm back up. I got the last of the hot water,” he said.

  “Got ya,” Jack said.

Nina started to climb into the bed by the door when Freak stopped her.

“Get in the other bed. I’m sleeping by the door. You’ll be safer in case someone comes in if you’re by the wall.”
