Standing with only her panties on, Gabby placed both hands over her ample breast and squeezed. Elliot stepped back and let out a long hiss of breath. His eyes widened, then narrowed as she lifted her breast up to him. An offering he quickly accepted. He sucked a nipple and stroked it with his tongue. Gabby’s body jerked with pleasure.

Elliot stepped back, breathed deep, and devoured her with his dark eyes. The heat of that look rung a moan from her. He knelt before her and ran his thick finger along the front of her undies, down her crease and stroked over and over the damp folds.

“So wet for me.” He moaned. “Need to taste you right fucking now.”

As he touched her through the silky material, Gabby bit down hard on her lip to hold back a shout of pure bliss. Her breast ached as she pinched and rolled her hard nipples, gasping for breath.

Elliot replaced his fingers with his tongue. Replaced her hands on her breast with his. He nipped and sucked her, his mouth hot and wet, soaked the silk of her panties. The slick wet slide of his tongue on her clit through panties made his actions feel naughty. Gabby loved it, loved the feel of it.

Moving her now soaking panties to the side, he feasted on her throbbing flesh. The new sensation caused Gabby to groan and grab a hand full of his thick black hair as she rocked her hips to the rhythm of his strokes. Elliot’s mouth was doing things to her that made her want to climb the walls with ecstasy.

“Yes, right there. Don’t stop.” She cried, arching into him.

Elliot pinched her nipple hard, moved one hand to her ass and pulled her in as he drew madding circles around with his tongue on her throbbing clit. Elliot slid his finger back into her opening and that was the one two punch for her. Gabby’s climax hit hard. It started in her middle, spiraling outward, through her frame, down to her toes. She felt the room tilt as her body shook with pleasure. Strong arms lifted her and placed her in the center of the bed. Elliot lowered himself onto her. His thick cock, miraculously wrapped in latex, drove home. One slick glide and her body responded instantaneously. Her clasping pussy came alive around his hard pulsing member.

He didn’t move. His biceps bulged as he steadied himself above her, face inches away from hers.

“I wanted this to last, but by the love of God, I can’t.” He groaned out, jerking his hips back then pushed back in.

The world fell away with the rhythm of his plunges. Gabby’s body was humming with a low current of electricity that skidded all along her skin. Elliot was loving her and she couldn’t wrap her head around just how they made it to this point. He wanted her, craved her. How in the hell could she have not known? He never gave her even a clue, not one sign.

None of that mattered when he stilled, seated deep within her. His breath cool against her dampened face. They remained locked together. For a moment Gabby thought he was about to say something and her body tightened. Anticipation hovered in the air between them.

“Love me El.” She moaned, wrapping her arms around his neck and capturing his lips.

The world moved again, and damn it to hell, did it move. He plowed into her never removing his lips from hers. His hips pumped and on each down stroke he rotated his pelvis. Bolts of fire shot out from her center with each grind onto her clit.

Elliot moaned into her mouth, then moved to her shoulder latching on. Gabby clawed his back, nails digging in as she panted, found his pace and matched him.

They danced in the moonlight, the wet sounds of them coming together filled the night. This was more than sex. Gabby knew sex, even if it was a distant memory. She still remembered the act and the striving for release. But, this felt different. It felt like nothing she’d experienced before. Not only was the physicality of it stealing all her rational thought, but the emotions that cascaded through her were heightened to an overwhelming degree.

Gabby couldn’t look away from Elliot’s face. His eyes were locked onto hers as his hard body took complete possession of her. Gabby felt more than a sexual need, a want, a craving for Elliot. He was meant to be there, was made for her, he belonged in her heart.

Elliot was a monster between her legs. His thick dick raking along the walls of her pussy, wrenching screams from deep within her. He lifted up onto his knees, grabbing her behind the knees and lifting her lower body up. The new position made his plunges deeper, more all-encompassing. Gabby couldn’t have stopped her climax if she wanted to. When he placed his thumb over her clit and made quick flicks, she was undone. She came with a force that shook her whole body and the cry that came from her rattled her frame.

Elliot didn’t stop, didn’t slow down, he rocketed into her through her orgasm, not letting it end. She was strung tight as a bow, arching up off the mattress as another body shattering explosion went off inside her. He gripped her ass and pressed her in as he threw his head back, dark locks flowing across his shoulders, her name exploded from him as his dick jerked within her.

Gabby’s limp body was lowered to the mattress. Elliot caressed her damp skin, whispering how beautiful she was, but all Gabby could do was snuggle into his warmth. Her emotions were all over the place. It had been one hell of a day and now she was well sexed and satisfied, exhaustion was pulling her under. Before she drifted off, she heard him whisper.

  “I love you, Gab.”

She smiled, closed her eyes and slept.

  CHAPTER FIVE

All around Gabby the sights and sounds of West Haven’s Winter Festival excited her senses. She loved this time of year, and the festival always meant that Christmas was right around the corner.

The day was a brilliantly sunny day with a cold wind that tended to touch you everywhere, no matter the amount of outerwear you put on.

Snow had fallen the night before, but snow plows had shoveled it all away for the parade down Main Street. Children’s shouts of laughter drifted across the elevated voices of adults. She loved festival day. A town wide party was just what West Haven needed after recent events.

Gabby squeezed Elliot’s gloved hand. Thinking about Elliot making love to her last night left her warm all over despite the cold temperatures.

The whole town was out on Main Street. Booths for food and games were set up along the sidewalk. The aroma of pumpkin spices, caramel apples, and popcorn hung in the air.

A good number of people stopped to shake hands with Elliot, thanking him for fixing their vehicle for free or going out of his way to do the odd job or two. He was well liked among the residents of West Haven.

Elliot, as was his way, didn’t say much, simply accepted the gratitude with a slight smile and nod. Her dark, dangerous lover had a big heart under all that gruff. He seemed like a different man today, more relaxed. Holding her close to his side as they strolled from booth to booth.

“Auntie!” A ball of energy slammed into her side. Chris’ adorable face smiled up at her as he bounced up and down. The six year old boy was bundled up from the cold with his cap pulled down to just above his bright brown eyes. Gabby knelt and hugged him tight.

Nat’s son was the spitting image of his father, Dean, but his eyes now they were all her sister. Gabby felt, as always, her deep love for Chris pulling at her heart. He was a handful at times, but she loved him down to his toes.

“Hey, young man. Unhand my girl.” Eliot joked. Gabby chuckled.

Chris took a slow turn and tilted his head way back on his shoulders. He looked the giant man up and down, then scrunched up his face.

“She’s not your girl. She’s my Tia.”

A rumble of laughter sounded from Elliot’s chest.

“Slow down little man.” Dean told his son as he and Brooklyn approached. “Don’t hurt the man.”

Dean and Brook laughed at Chris’ possessive hold on Gabby’s waist. The little boy wiggled between the two adults. His angry gaze focused on their clasped hands.

“He’s too close to my Tia and look, he’s grabbing her.” Chris’ voice rose with each word.

Dean dropped his gaze to their hands and a matching f
rown crawled across his forehead. “Yeah, why the fuc… um, why do you have your hands on Gabs?”

Gabby felt Elliot stiffen next to her and she could have sworn she heard him growl at her brother-in-law. A long, awkward moment stretched out as the three males eyed each other.

“Cut it out you three alpha males.” Brook broke the silence. “Gabby is enjoying the festival with her guy, now back off big D and you too little bean.”

Leave it to Brook to take control of the Mills men. She was a sweet drill sergeant that kept the unruly guys in check. Dressed for the elements, bundled up in a royal blue coat that brought out her creamy brown skin tone and her sparkling brown eyes. Brook winked at her then offered her hand to Elliot.

“Please excuse them. They are extremely protective of Gabs. We’ve actually met before when Chris was abducted, but I was a frantic lunatic at the time. I’m Brooklyn.”

Elliot shook her hand. “Elliot.” His reply was hard and his expression blank. Her pleasant companion morphed into silent stone faced El.

Gabby elbowed him in the ribs and Elliot glanced over at her. Gabby mouthed “Be nice.”

Elliot’s brows furrowed and his eyes roamed her face for a heartbeat. He gave Brook a beguiling smile.

“Elliot Fuller. My pleasure to meet you Brook at a more non frantic time.”

Gabby’s jaw dropped. He went from stone face killer to sexy gentleman in an instant. Wow, just fucking wow. Heat shot straight to her middle.

Brooklyn grinned. “This is Dean and that spider monkey swinging from your arm is our son Chris.”

Chris was indeed pulling at Elliot’s arm in the attempt to dislodge the man’s hand from Gabby’s. Elliot raised his arm, bringing the boy up to eye level.

“Hi Chris.” El smiled. “Gabby and I are good friends. Is it alright if I hold on to her to make sure she doesn’t slip on the ice?”

Chris narrowed his eyes and stared for a moment before nodding. “That’s ok, I guess, but she’s my Tia.” He said, placing emphases on the word my.

“Got ya.” El assured him before placing the child back on the ground.

Chris gave El another “I got my eyes on you” look, then turned to his dad. “Can I go play with Sam?”

Dean gave his son a nod yes and the boy ran over to a dark-haired girl about his age, standing with her parents.

“Can I have a word with you Elliot?” Dean asked, stepping away from the women. Elliot squeezed her gloved hand, then followed.

Gabby stood frozen in place. What the hell? Did Dean really do that shit? Gabby slanted a look at Brook then took a step in the men’s direction. Brook caught her arm.

“Dean loves you. That right there is what brothers do.” Brook gave her arm a squeeze. “They interrogate your dates and embarrass the hell out of you.”

A sing song voice called out from behind them. “Hey Bitches. Who’s the Ice Queen Ladies? Yep, that’ll be me. Bow before my lofty ass presence.” Raven advanced with her index fingers pointing to the fake tiara on her spiky blond head. Her royal entourage, consisted of Sheriff Reynolds and her red faced sister Cassie. Both of whom, rolled their eyes in unison at Raven.

Gabby and Brook laughed out loud at their crazy, uninhibited friend. Raven had been elected Queen of the festival and with zealous joy she flaunted her queen for the day status. She wore a puffy pink coat, blue leggings and the world’s ugliest pair of shimmering snow boots. The thing that really set off their laughter was the bright fire engine red cape that flowed along the ground behind her. Raven was a fucking crazy woman, but that’s what made them love her. She had no filter, non what so ever, but she was funny as hell, kind, and loyal.

Carter Reynolds gazed down at his pixy with an adoring smile that set his dark eyes ablaze. The big, handsome Sheriff lifted Raven off her feet giving her a hard kiss, then placed her back on the ground. Carter did that quite often, because it was the only way to shut his woman up.

“Gabby, Brook, good to see you.” Carter greeted them, kissed Raven again, then strolled off towards the men.

Raven turned to them looking a little dazed. “Damn that man can kiss my brain numb. What was I about to say? Oh yeah, who wants to be the first to kiss my royal tush? Go ahead grovel girls. I might even buy you lunch.” She laughed, tossed her arms around them, and ushered them towards a hot chocolate stand.

Gabby shook her head at Raven’s antics. She couldn’t help but take a look over her shoulder at the three handsome men huddled together talking. All three of them were handsome in their own right, but Elliot with his striking dark eyes, hard sculpted frame, and brooding good looks was far more handsome, at least to her.

As if he could feel her looking, El glanced across the distance, his gaze catching hers. His lips pulled up at one corner. He was ok. Dean and Carter weren’t giving him the third degree. At least if they were, Elliot wasn’t giving a shit. That’s my boy, she thought as she followed the girls over to the line for hot chocolate. Nothing ruffled his feathers. Elliot was a rock, a solid, unshakable rock.

She felt it again. The tingly hot prickles down her arms and along the surface of her skin. That particular prickling of acute awareness. The feeling of being watched, stalked. Gabby had the feeling all day. She ignored it when she was with Elliot. She felt safe with him there protecting her from any and everything. Now, standing in line with her dear friends and Elliot standing a few feet away, the unease returned with a vengeance.

Gabby glanced over her shoulder. A guy walked towards her and something about him pulled at her memory. Boyishly handsome with wide blue eyes and long blond hair, he wore pulled back from his face. His dark jeans, boots, and leather jacket contrasted harshly with his innocent looking face. The man didn’t have that evil bad guy look at all, but the way he watched her as he approached with an almost predatory gleam in his eyes made Gabby shrink back a bit. Freaky, run for your life, vibes drifted off the stranger.

Gabby turned her head not wanting to hold eye contact. The urge to call out for Elliot was strong. His name lingered on the tip of her tongue, but she didn’t want to draw attention to herself if she happened to be wrong. What if the guy was just some tourist simply there to enjoy the festival? The last time she’d dismissed a stranger, he’d tried to shoot her.

Her inner voice was screaming at her to run. There was a familiarity to the man that she couldn’t shake. She took a step closer to Brook, mind racing in time with her heartbeat. Something hard was pressed against her lower back as the man moved in directly behind her.

That’s where she’d seen him. His handsome face and cocky grin he flashed a moment before firing at her. The shooter from the Bar. The very same shooter who was supposed to be in custody, free as a bird and right there. Fear like a frozen blanket settled over Gabby. She was stuck within herself, watching the world move in normal time, but unable to move or scream out.

“Beautiful woman. You made a big mistake trusting that one. The black soulless one.” He spoke with a British accent. His breath blew hot across the back of her neck. “Ask him about Trigger Man.”

Gabby’s heart beat so hard and fast, her knees going weak, she thought she was about to pass out. Gabby didn’t know what to do. Would he shoot her there with so many people around? She hoped not, but this guy was nuts, who knew what he might do?

She sucked in a deep breath. She wouldn’t cower to him. Gabby debated whether to try and get her friend’s attention, but didn’t want to get them hurt in any way. Cold air blew across Gabby’s flushed face and all the excitement of the festival fell away. The happiest day of the year, it was not, not anymore.

Turning, Gabby expected the sharp burn of a blade or the explosive pain of a bullet, but there was nothing. He was gone. Mr. Neck whisperer had vanished and Elliot was stomping towards her. His face drawn and his eyes searching.

Had he seen the exchange? Since getting involved with Elliot, very passing day brought more and more craziness. The man had huge dinosaur size skeleton bones in his closet.

He said he had a dark past. Yeah, he did warn her.

Ending this now, before they got in deeper with each other would be the smart thing to do. Send him on his way and try to forget him. Forget him. That was the kicker wasn’t it? Elliot occupied every available space in her heart.

She had a perfectly good, safe life in West Haven. Gabby didn’t want or need adventure or danger. No, she needed to walk away from him right then and there. As he got closer, Gabby saw the raw emotion written on his face. Ready to go to battle, he advanced like an army of one.

Nothing in her past prepared her for this dark and dangerous man before her. Nothing in her world would be the same, because like it or not, Elliot was hers. Insensible and insane is it was, she wasn’t ready to give him up.

Elliot caught her up in his arms, holding her against his thundering heart. His strong arms encasing her in steel. Gabby clutched him tight, breathing in his fresh wintergreen sent. Gabby felt safe in his arms, afraid still but protected. The closeness of the man, sparked that bone melting, all-encompassing heat that only Elliot could evoke. Gabby knew her heart was lost to her. It belonged to this brooding, mysterious man. She was in love with Elliot and couldn’t picture life without him. One question still screamed in her brain. Will you live long enough to enjoy loving him?

Gabby pushed away and took a breath. “Who’s Trigger Man?” she asked.

A cold burst of wind slashed across them and Elliot turned away, but not before she could see that all the color had drained from his face.

  CHAPTER SIX

Elliot cringed at the loud squeal his screen door made as he let them inside. He’d never noticed the screeching before tonight. The want to impress Gabby had him noticing insignificant things. Shit, he’d never thought of before like, curb appeal and curtains for the windows. He gave no mind to his home before. It was a place to sleep, but now he wished he’d spent some time making the place look its best for Gabby.

His cottage was nestled in a small clearing off the main road out of West Haven, surrounded by the forest on three sides and the main road in front. Passersby would have a hard time picking up on his driveway. It was only two dirt tracks cut into the grass.
