by Scarlet Ellis

Rosie whimpers my name, and I pull myself up to her, so our faces are just inches from each other, my shaft rubbing against her pussy. Shit, this girl makes me lose my mind.

“I want to give you pleasure like you’ve never had before...you want that baby?” I whisper into her ear.

“Fuck yes Gavin, stop teasing me!” She says before thrusting her head back into the pillow like she can’t take anymore.

I push my cock into her slowly and watch her screw her fists up into the sheets underneath us. I slide myself in slowly so she can feel me throbbing for her, I can feel how wet she is for me. I start to pump slowly, wanting to make this moment last, before I lose patience and go faster and faster, watching her beautiful breasts bounce with every movement.

Rosie’s back arches, and she thrusts herself into me harder, rolling her hips into me and grabbing for the headboard. My cock plunging her depths and the room is filled with our moans of ecstasy.

“Fucking hell, I’m coming so hard, don’t stop!” She pants breathlessly.

“Don’t worry baby, I’m not going to stop, and I pump faster.

Our bodies perfectly synced as her pussy explodes and we jolt in unison as my cock fills her.

With my shaft still inside her, I lean back down to her and slip my tongue into her mouth and kiss her beautiful rosy lips before we come up for air.

“That was incredible baby, I don’t think you even know just how beautiful you are right now.”

I mean it. Right now her skin is glowing a gentle blush pink, and she looks so radiant, this only made her adorably blush more.

I bring Rosie closer into my body, and we lay silently naked in each other’s arms. We don’t need to speak, we both feel it. The thing that we’ve both been missing for the last eight years is each other, and now we both realize it with no denial.

I wake up early, Rosie is still sleeping next to me. This girl has me hooked, and she looks as beautiful this morning as she ever has. Last night made me realize that I really do need out of the family business. I have my girl back in my life where she belongs, and I don’t want to fuck things up again.

No one will ever tell me what to do again and seeing Rosie sleeping gently next to me makes me determined.

I kiss my girl gently on her shoulder, and she starts to stir as I get out of bed.

“Where are you going?” She says sleepily as I pull on my pants and pick up the shirt that had been hastily discarded on the floor last night.

“I’m sorry, I have to go to the bank this morning.”

I lean down to her while I button up my shirt and gently kiss her first on her forehead and then on her deliciously soft lips. She smiles back at me in a way that makes me want to take her again. But duty calls, at least for now anyway.

As Rosie rolls back over and starts to fall asleep again, I know that I’d give up everything to be with this girl forever. If or rather when, my family find out I really am dating her, then I’ll probably be ceremonially ejected from the family business quicker than I can blink.

On the other hand, I don’t know if she will ever truly forgive me for leaving her broken-hearted when we were at college. If she only knew the truth, would she even accept the truth if she knew it? I’m ashamed of what I did, I’ve lived a life of regret ever since, and now I won’t let my family dictate my life again.

As I walk through the doors of the bank, I see the staff scurrying backward and forwards with nervous looks on their faces. I instantly know what causes such a look of fear on their faces. My father must be here.

Sure enough, as I head into my office, I find my father sitting in my chair, behind my desk. He seems to be waiting silently for me.

I know that my father strikes the fear of God into people, but not me. It’s just a constant power play, that’s all. I let him guide me into a bad decision in my life once before, but never again.

My father looks at me, and after a period of thoughtful silence, he is the first to break it.

“So, I understand you are dating that girl again. What’s her name...”

“Rosie” I interrupt, not wanting my father to have the privilege to even utter her name.

“Yes, that’s it. Rosie.” He says as if he hasn’t already done a full check on her background.

“Yes, I am seeing her as you well know. I’m assuming the guy with the camera is your doing? You want to get better private detectives, ones that don’t make themselves so fucking obvious.” I add angrily.

My rage at my father has been building for some time now, but the moment innocent Rosie was brought into this power struggle it angered me to breaking point.

“Well Gavin, do you really expect me to send you here, the loose cannon that you are without someone checking on the havoc you could be causing in this town. I made my feelings known once about this and my position hasn’t changed at all.”

I look at my father, the coldness in this room is evident. I am thankful I’m not my father, but if I don’t break from this family, this is surely my future.

“If you insist on continuing to date this girl, I presume that you understand that I can and will make her life very difficult.” He adds coldly.

“What do you mean?” I ask as if he can make her any more scared than she already is from the camera guy stalking our every move.

“Well, I understand she has taken over her parents florist shop hasn’t she?” He slides a piece of paper from a dossier file on my desk to get a better look at it.

“Paradise Blooms I believe it’s called, isn’t it?” He then slides the piece of paper back into the folder and looks at me waiting for a response.

“Yes, you know very well it is father, and I am assuming that dossier is courtesy of your private detective.”

“Yes, it is,” He smiles wryly as he says this and I know instantly he isn’t even remotely done yet.

“And you know what Gavin, I have found out that our bank still has an interest in that business. So, if you persist in dating that girl, then I will see to it that her interest rates are hiked so high that it’ll put her out of business in a month.”

I stare back at my father unable to fathom the venom that oozes from his soul. I have no problem being tough in business to get shit done, but he is stooping to a level that disgusts me to my very core.

“You’ll do no such thing. I manage the accounts in this place, including hers. I’ll fight you every step of the way on this, you might intimidate everyone else, but you don’t scare me one little bit.” I growl.

Our eyes meet each other, neither one willing to back down. We are like two lions fighting to be head of the pride.

“Gavin, you are messing with the wrong man. I always get what I want, and you know it,” He says matter of factly which just irritates me even more.

The rage I feel inside me is gently bubbling to the surface like a volcano waiting to erupt. Of all the times I have butt heads with my father, never did I feel as enraged as I do now. The one difference this time is he’s picking on Rosie, sweet innocent Rosie. Her only crime is to be the object of my affection.

“We’ll see about that father," I reply. I won’t back down, and now Rosie is in my life again, I’ll fight for her in the way I didn’t have the guts to do eight years ago.

  Rosie

As I dead-head the flowers around my shop, my mind wanders dreamily to the incredible night I spent with Gavin. I broke my own rules about allowing him back into my heart, and I don’t yet know if I should regret it. I don’t really know what it meant to him, he didn’t stick around long enough the next morning to talk about it.

I wonder if it meant anything to him at all or if I was just another girl he was able to talk into bed. Was I a challenge, to see if he could still get into my panties?

I told him that we were just pretending to date, and there was to be nothing more, but now I’m thinking perhaps he thought this was just a perk of the deal and he was pushing his luck.

  The phone ring
s and startles me out of my daze. It’s Gavin.

“Hey Rosie, there’s a party tonight at the fair oaks country club, and I wonder if you would come with me? It’s a business thing, but hopefully it won’t bore you too much,”

Well, I might be a bit hazy about Gavin’s intentions, but the fact is, whether he used me or not, I do really still need his help. He’s been picking through my finances, and it looks as though my shop now has a fighting chance.

“Sure, of course," I reply as enthusiastically as I can. I can’t say I feel like going, but I did agree to this deal, and so I have to go through with it to the end. The trouble is though, I’m not sure I know what the ending actually is.

“Ok, I’ll pick you up around 8pm then.” He replies softly.

I detect a change in his tone with me, it seems more sensitive than usual. I like it, but it just adds to my confusion.

I wear the one evening dress I own, a full-length red silk one with a deep thigh split and plunging neckline. When I opened the door to Gavin this evening, I thought his eyes were going to fall out. If we are going to continue to pretend to date, I might as well make a decent effort.

As we walk up the concrete steps towards the country club building, Gavin places a guiding hand on the small of my back which quickly slides it’s way down my silky dress and onto my backside. I don’t react, I assume it’s all part of the show we are putting on. I daren’t look at Gavin, because his touch drives me crazy and we need to stay focused.

As we enter the ballroom, I see that there are many wealthy Greenwick families in attendance, not to mention the real movers and the shakers of this county. I don’t know how comfortable I feel right now, but Gavin grabs my hand and gives it a little squeeze. I look at him and smile.

“You’ll do great Rosie, it’ll be fine.” He assures me.

He always knew when I was feeling nervous, and he still knows me so well. The nostalgia for our past keeps catching me at times like this and the longing for times gone past fills my heart.

“Will you dance with me, Rosie?” He asks gesturing for me to give him my hand.

  I giggle nervously.

“Are you serious? Are you now the type of guy who dances?” I say doubtfully.

“Only for you.” He says seriously, gesturing again for me to give him my hand.

Against my better judgement I oblige, and he sweeps and twirls me onto the dance floor until I slide into his arms. A slow song comes on, this guy is as smooth and cocky as ever.

We are creating quite a show, and I see whispers in the groups of people watching on. Gavin appears to not be noticing any of this, or at least if he is, he isn’t letting on.

However, I doubt he has noticed anything at all as he is concentrating hard on the slow dancing even though he is way out of his comfort zone. His effort is so sweet that it makes me smile. I sense that dancing really isn’t his strong suit, but I wonder if he remembers that I love to dance and this is for me?

He pulls me in closer to his body, and now there is no space between us. I feel the heat of his body and my heart beats faster. I feel his cock throbbing for me through my thin gown, and he gently lifts my chin up, so we are staring into each other’s eyes. He leans in, and our lips meet, I melt into his, and our kiss is so enthusiastic that we almost forget to breathe. We have virtually forgotten that we were dancing and it’s more like a slow sway with the occasional movement of our feet.

I at once feel so comfortable in his arms again that I know can’t do this anymore. Everything has changed, I don’t want to take part in this deceit anymore. I have feelings for Gavin, and I want more from him, more than I’m sure he wants to give, more than the deal we made. I’m just a girl in a small town, and he would never really date a girl like me. I mean, that's why he probably left me in the first place. I was surely just a rich boy’s conquest.

I break away from his embrace suddenly, taking Gavin by surprise.

“I can’t do this anymore. Thanks for your help, I’ll manage to work out my own problems. I’m sorry,” I say forcefully before ripping myself completely away from his arms.

“Don’t follow me, I won’t change my mind, and I don’t want to talk about it. Let’s just go back to being how things were. Strangers.” I feel my eyes start to well up and the last thing I want is for him to see me cry. So in my usual style, once again I do the only thing I can think of and bolt for the door leaving Gavin confused and standing alone on the dance floor.

Running away from Gavin does seem to have become a bit of a habit since he came back to town.

As I leave the grand ballroom and find myself in the lobby, and I head straight for the exit door when all of a sudden an older man catches my arm.

“Ms. Hanes isn’t it?” The man asks.

“Yes, it is. But honestly, I don’t feel like talking. I’m not stopping,” I say, still trying to control the water desperately trying to cascade from my eyes.

“Well, I think that’s a very smart move Ms. Hanes.” The man says dryly.

I stop in my tracks, I don’t know who this guy is or why he knows my name.

“I’m sorry, who exactly are you?” I demand.

“I, Ms. Hanes, am Gavin Wolfe’s father. I have recently become aware that my son has once again resumed his relationship with you. I didn’t approve the first time, and I sure as hell don’t this time.”

My eyes stop their mission to ruin my mascara because I am too dumbfounded to remember I was about to cry.

“I’m sorry, what do you mean you didn’t approve the last time?” I demand to know.

“Well, Ms. Hanes, you are no doubt aware that my son is from a family of considerable wealth, and what’s more he stands to inherit a sizeable part the family business which will give him wealth beyond his wildest dreams. However, all I ask is that he tows the line, that he dates within his own class, not some trash like you.” The man scowls at me like I’m a piece of shit he just stood in. “All his mother and I ask of him is to date and marry a woman of class who understands our life and how to behave appropriately.”

If I were dumbfounded before, it’s nothing compared to now. I don’t quite believe what I’m hearing.

“So are you telling me that Gavin ditched me in college because I was too poor?” I ask.

“Yes, Ms. Hanes, that is exactly it. And I would strongly suggest that you leave my son alone and don’t contact him ever again.” Mr. Wolfe says with a sinister tone to his voice. He is apparently trying to scare me, and if I were not so confused and upset right now, I might have been more worried.

“Well, Mr. Wolfe, you don’t have to worry about that. I can assure you that I certainly won’t be contacting him again.” I reply angrily.

I turn back towards the exit without another word and head as fast as I can down the steps in these stupid damn heels to the street to find a taxi.

  Gavin

As I watch Rosie leave the room, I’m left confused and speechless for once in my life. We were kissing passionately and then she freaked out. I know she said not to follow her, but I can’t just let her walk away without ever knowing why. I can’t let this happen. I need to know why she reacted that way to our kiss.

I hastily fight my way through the crowds in the room and head towards the ballroom exit, and suddenly my father looms into view taking me by surprise and stopping me dead in tracks.

“I had no idea you would be here tonight father, what brings you to such a lowly gathering," I say sarcastically, knowing that he usually wouldn’t be seen dead at an event like this.

“The local Chamber of Commerce heard I was in town, you know that I like to give back to the small businesses that our bank supports.” I know he says this to get a rise out of me, but I struggle to let it slide.

“Except of course if it’s a business owned by Rosie Hanes right? In that case, you’ll do everything you can to destroy a small business,” I reply.

“Well, it’s ok Gavin. I have set her straight now. I’m
still not entirely sure that this relationship is real, but whatever the hot mess you’ve got yourself into, I have once again dealt with it.” He looks at me hard, waiting for my reaction.

“I’m sorry, what do you mean you’ve dealt with it?” I say curtly.

“I’ve told her exactly where she stands. I’ve told her that I forbid you to get involved with someone like her and that she isn’t to carry on sniffing around you.” My father looks at me, scanning my face for a reaction.

“You’ve done what?” I explode. Fury fills my body, and I struggle to contain my anger anymore.

“Yes, well Gavin you will thank me one day. Trust me a woman like that isn’t right for you. You need someone who understands the responsibility of being married into the Wolfe family. I am quite sure that Ms. Hanes is not that person.” My father looks down into the tumbler of whiskey he’s holding and gives it a swirl before taking a mouthful. I’m quite sure he knows exactly what my reaction will be, but he looks unperturbed all the same.

“I don’t know what gives you the right to think you can fucking interfere in my life like this,” I shake my head and rub my forehead out of frustration. I can’t even finish my sentence out of fear that I might hit the man who I was raised to respect. Right now I know that I’ve never misjudged this man. He is exactly the morally challenged person I always thought he was.

My father saves me the trouble of conjuring up the words to finish my sentence. “Well Gavin, luckily for you I am your father, and that is exactly what gives me the right. I am the one from whom you will inherit your fortune. I don’t think that it’s too much for me to have a say in how you live your life since I don’t want you dragging our family name through the shit with some floozy only interested in your money.”
