Taming the Boss

Page 5

by Camryn Eyde

A knot coiled deep at the base of my stomach and I knew I was getting close. Reading her movements, I could tell she was on the same page. She lifted her head and stared at me. She was so entrancing like this. Naked vulnerability filled her eyes and her mouth, slack with pleasure demanded to be kissed. Leaning up, I did just that and while our tongues tangled and danced, my passionate conclusion peaked. Crying out against her lips, I shuddered from head to toe and stilled the fingers I had inside her.

She gave me a few moments of peace before her need outweighed her patience. “Peta,” she said roughly. “Please.” Her hips were trying to rock against my slackened fingers. Swallowing and nodding, I pushed against her chest as I tried to sit. Coming with me, she straddled my lap as I sat and I began pumping into her once again. Her head fell to my shoulder as she rode my hand.

“Come for me, sweetheart,” I whispered into the ear that was against my mouth. “Come for me so hard.”

She grunted breathily and the pace of her hips increased and with each out-stroke, I curled my fingers against the ribbed skin protecting her erogenous zone. Walls clenching, she braced and slammed against my hand.

“Oh, Peta…yes…God, I love you…” she said on a long shuddering breath against my neck as the feel of her hot, fluid come dribbled down my hand and into my lap. “Yes,” she whispered a heartbeat later. “Yes, I’ll be your forever girlfriend.”

Smiling, I slid the ring that was still in my hand blindly onto her finger and claimed what was rightfully earned: a kiss from my beautiful fiancée.

I smiled as I held her gently.

  I knew it.

  She loved me.

Thank you for reading my short story, Taming the Boss. This is my first foray into the publishing world, but certainly not the last. If you liked the story, I would love to hear your honest review at your favorite ebook outlet. If you disliked it, there is the potential I may weep over a glass of wine or three, but, once again, I would appreciate your honest review so I can continue to improve.

  Yours, Camryn

  Celebrity Pass

Cass Hartley, reporter, was ruing her day of horrid, abysmal luck. If anything could go wrong, it did, right up to the moment that Isabel O’Donnell drove through the pouring rain to rescue her and her ruined pumps. Instantly star-struck and unable to contain her pure adoration of the movie starlet, Cass bumbles her way into the woman’s mansion, her bath, and maybe, just maybe, her bed. Thank goodness her wife granted her a celebrity pass, or there was no way she’d take the risk of fulfilling her fantasies with the woman the entire world wanted.
