"Thank you, Alyssa," he said, in that silky smooth voice.
"I think I'll head out now, though. Call it a day," I said as I stood up and began straightening my outfit.
"Yes. Yes, of course."
Just as I was about to step away he wrapped his powerful frame around me and hugged me tightly.
"No hard feelings?" he whispered.
The sudden pressure of his crotch bulge against my aching core was almost too much to bear. I wanted to let out a moan of desire but I knew I couldn't. I wish there were hard feelings right now - hard feelings in that crotch of yours, making it rock hard, ready to thrust inside of me, pounding into me again and again until I...Oh, God!
"No, no hard feelings," I said, giving him a polite, gentle and thoroughly frustrated hug in return.
He released me from his embrace, smiled, and returned to his office, closing the door behind him. I gathered my things, stepped out to the lobby area and pressed the down button for the elevator.
What would tomorrow bring, I wondered. Would he be the kind considerate gentleman who just minutes before had held me warmly in his arms? Or would he be almost indifferent to me, cool and aloof, acting as though nothing untoward had ever occurred? Or would his curious sexual passions be fired up again, this time giving me what I really wanted, just where I wanted it?
Whatever happened, one thing was certain: life had become a lot more interesting with him in it. There was a lot more to Mr. Brett Cavanaugh than met the eye, and I was determined to find out just what it was that he was keeping hidden from the world.
As the elevator made its journey downward, I suddenly became aware of the sound of my cell ringing somewhere in my bag. I dug around and fished it out, squinting at the bright screen to see who was calling. When I saw the number my heart skipped a beat and I became overwhelmed by a sickening sense of dread. I recognized the area code and prefix immediately.
The call came from Valley View.
It was the past on the line.
