Jared caught her hand, kissing her fingers. “No, baby. I see that you’re not. You really don’t want to live in the house we found?”
No!
Erin looked at each of them to find them watching her expectantly. Swallowing heavily, she turned to look at the house again. “It’s a nice house. If you really want to live here, I suppose we can make it work.”
Reese slid into the front passenger seat, pulling her legs onto his lap. “So you would live here if we wanted to?”
Moving away from her sister and niece would be hard as hell.
She’d be moving away from her in-laws, who she’d come to love deeply.
Moving away from friends that meant the world to her.
But her husbands meant more.
Forcing a smile, she nodded. “Of course. If you want to live in Tulsa, we’ll make it work.”
Duncan chuckled and, with his arms braced on the back of the front seat, grinned at each of his brothers. “Not the excitement we were expecting, is it?”
Not trusting his tone or wicked grin, Erin frowned and met Reese’s loving gaze. “What’s going on?”
Reese rubbed her thigh. “We were afraid that you missed living in the city.”
“So you really thought that I wanted to move here?”
Jared tilted her back over his arm. “We did. We thought you’d be happier living in the city—or at least as close to it as we could get.”
“You would really have moved here for me?”
“Of course.” Reese’s hands slid higher. “There doesn’t seem to be much we wouldn’t do for you.”
Her eyes stung with tears, her throat clogged with them. “Your love humbles me. I love you so damned much.”
“Do you?” Duncan slid a hand under her shirt, flattening on her abdomen. “How much?”
Recognizing the look in his eyes, a look filled with erotic promise, Erin giggled. “It loses something in the telling. How about if I show you?”
Jared stiffened, his gaze shifting to the rearview mirror. “Shit. The realtor just pulled in behind us.”
Erin scrambled to sit up, righting her shirt. “Get rid of her. I want to go home.”
Jared grinned and cupped her breast before lifting her and handing her to Reese. “Yes, ma’am. Home sounds real good.”
