“Having fun?” he asks, his eyes sparkling with tenderness.

  I smile, nodding my head.

“Kneel beside the couch,” he tells Adrian. “Kiss her.”

He must be as hungry for me as I am him, because Adrian doesn’t hesitate to lean in, anchoring his weight on the couch beneath me, and claiming my lips in another crushingly tender kiss. God, I love his kisses. I need more of them.

I gasp into his mouth as Mateo’s mouth latches onto my pussy. With Mateo between my legs, my hands are free now so I wrap them around Adrian, holding him close as he kisses me between my moans of pleasure. Two fingers slide inside me as Mateo works my clit with his skillful tongue. I break away from Adrian’s mouth, writhing helplessly. “Fuck.”

Adrian gives me a break for a moment, his eyes raking over my body. He watches Mateo between my legs for a moment, watches the desperate way I respond, my back arching, my body twisting, seeking out pleasure Mateo is already giving me. Adrian’s big hands come to cup my breasts. He squeezes, then runs his palms roughly over my nipples. I shudder with pleasure, every nerve in my body humming.

This is heaven and hell all at once.

“Adrian,” I say, moaning and reaching for him.

With a low growl, he crushes his lips against mine again, more demanding than tender this time. I cling to his body, my life raft in this tumultuous storm. Since my husband excels at getting me off, his skilled mouth brings me to another earth-shattering orgasm. Adrian holds me as pleasure courses through my body, dropping light kisses along my jawline.

I am boneless when Mateo’s done with me. I lie there panting, trying to catch my breath.

Mateo climbs off the couch. Adrian looks up at him. With a generous, sweeping motion, Mateo indicates the couch. “Go ahead. Finish her off.”

  “What?” Adrian asks.

“Huh?” I murmur, trying to lift my head, but it’s impossible. I turn it instead.

Mateo’s lips curve up in a lazily amused fashion. “Fuck my wife.”

I cover my face with my hands as interest stirs between my legs, impossibly enough. “Oh, God.”

Adrian does not wait to be told twice. He stands, shoving his pants off entirely. My eyes drift from his muscular thighs to the thick, hard cock hanging between them. I only get a moment to admire the naked, masculine beauty of him, then he climbs back on the couch and wrenches my legs apart. His eyes meet mine, molten with desire. Nervous flutters fill my stomach as his hand moves to his cock and he guides it between my legs. I feel the head of him breach my entrance. He holds my gaze as he eases in about an inch and pauses. Then, without further ado, he thrusts forward and buries himself inside me.

“Oh, God,” I moan, reaching for the arm of the couch above me.

Adrian draws his hips back and thrusts forward, filling me full of his cock again. It feels so good, I could die. I lock eyes with Mateo. It’s surreal for a split second, seeing him standing there, watching as someone else fucks me. Even if it’s Adrian, it’s bizarre to have a thick cock pushed inside me over and over while my husband watches, his gaze hot with interest.

Adrian’s hips are made of magic. I reach for him, drawing him closer as he pounds into me. He feels so fucking good. He grinds hard when he slams into me, making my clit thrum with each stroke. I want his mouth. I cry out against his lips when he gives it to me, expressing my need even as he meets it. I love the full feeling of Adrian’s cock inside me. I never want this to end, but I need to please him. I want to milk every last moment of pleasure out of his cock as he spills his cum inside me.

“Mia,” he says lowly, breaking from my mouth and burying his face in my neck. He needs a shave. As the rough stubble on his face brushes me neck, I gasp at the sensation. His powerful body labors over mine, trapping me beneath his as he pumps into me. It’s fucking paradise.

Mateo knows what I need and I know he can give it to me, but it’s a whole new experience as I wait to see if Adrian does. When my pussy needs it hard and fast and rough, when he’s close but I need that last shove, he grabs my arms, pins them over my head, and tilts his hips as he slams into me.

I cry out and he does it again. And again. And again.

“Adrian!” I cry his name as he pushes me over the edge. I’m an unthinking vessel of pleasure and need in this moment, clinging to his powerful body, burying my face in his shoulder as he pushes deep into my clenching pussy and finally finds his own release.

The muscular bulk of his body comes down on top of mine and I savor the feeling. I savor the relief in his body, knowing I gave it to him.

  ---

Mateo’s dark gaze meets mine in the dark. I see him shake his head, then he leans in to kiss me, gathering me against his body. I can feel how hard he is. I’m already so turned on I think I might die, but the reassuring hardness of Mateo’s cock promises relief.

“You tell the best stories,” he informs me.

I’m flushed for a lot of reasons, but now faint embarrassment joins the fray. “I’m glad you liked it.”

“What happened to me?” he teases, as he bends his head to nip at my ear. “Did you just leave me there, all sexually frustrated?”

“Of course not. That wouldn’t be a happy ending. I’m sure once I recovered from Adrian fucking me, I knelt on the ground and worshipped your cock until you were satisfied.”

“Mm, good girl,” he murmurs, before dropping a kiss to my shoulder blade.

Sexy bedtime stories aren’t precisely a staple in this bedroom, but we do like to break them out from time to time. Tonight was just one of those times.

Mateo sighs as he pulls back, his hand drifting down my side. “Of course you want the one thing in the world I can’t give you.”

I catch his hand, trailing kisses down his arm. “What are you talking about?”

He tugs his hand free and lets it drift between my legs. “Adrian’s cock,” he teases.

My face warms and I swat at his sexy abdominal muscles. “It was just a story. Believe me, the only cock I need is yours.”

“I know that,” he says, easily. He’s not remotely threatened. “But you’d like to play with Adrian one night, just for fun. I don’t like you wanting things I can’t get you.”

“I told you, it’s only a story. I wasn’t saying I really want to bang Adrian.”

Mateo rolls his eyes. “Yes, but I’m the king of bullshit, so I know it when I hear it.”

I shove against him as he pins me to the bed, moving on top of me. “It is not bullshit. Fantasies aren’t necessarily real wants. You already make all my other fantasies come true; I need to keep at least one, don’t I?”

“No,” he says, simply. “I want to make all of them come true. That’s what makes this one so inconvenient.”

I shrug, looking up at him. “Can’t help what I like.”

He’s hovering over me, but now he lowers himself to steal a kiss. His voice is husky with promise, taking my arousal to new heights, as he assures me, “I would double team you with Adrian if I could.”

  “Oh, would you?” I murmur.

“Mmhmm.” His lips move down the column of my neck. “If it wouldn’t completely ruin his life, I would make it happen.”

Given Mateo’s track record, I feel the need to assure him, “Yeah, I definitely do not want an Adrian threesome at the cost of his happiness. Again, just a fantasy—in case you were hatching any dastardly plans in that sexy brain of yours.”

Mateo shakes his head. “To be honest, I’m not positive Adrian could handle you, even if he didn’t have Elise. I’m not sure you’ve noticed, but men tend to desire you near the point of madness, then if one finally manages to fuck you, he’s generally ruined for all other women.”

I roll my eyes at that dramatic exaggeration. “I’ve only slept with you and Vince. That’s not exactly a large enough pool to draw that conclusion from.”

“I know what I know,” he says, simply.

“You know what I know?” I ask, wrapping my arms arou
nd his neck and pulling him close for a kiss.

  “What’s that?”

  “I love you.”

He rolls his eyes, but smiles at me anyway. “Everyone knows that.”

“Good. If you ever find anyone who says different, you just send them my way.”

“You’ll sit them down for a firm talking-to, huh?” he teases.

“I will,” I insist, nodding. “I don’t know if you know this about me, but I’m the wife of Mateo Morelli. I’m pretty scary.”

He bends to kiss my neck. “Terrifying. I don’t know how I ever get any sleep with such a scary woman in my bed.”

Now my grin turns a little naughtier and I let my hand drift down to grasp his cock. “You don’t.”

Growling lowly into my neck as I rub his cock, he drops the joke, grabs a fistful of my hair, and proceeds to make so many of my fantasies come true.

  Deleted Scene Two

The night Rafe is in Chicago

  Meg

  "They're really going to bed?"

I glance up at the handsome new Morelli, smiling as I uncap my water bottle and take a sip. "Yep."

He cocks a golden eyebrow. "It's nine o'clock."

"I'm actually shocked they didn't go straight to bed after dinner. Or that they even made it through dinner. They haven't been able to fuck each other for over a week; that's basically like going without oxygen for those two. They need to fuck the life back into each other.”

"Well, I assumed he fucked her when they went upstairs earlier."

I nod, pulling my cell phone out and tapping it until my screen is unlocked. "I'm sure he did. They're like bunnies. I don't know how their respective reproductive organs don't completely wear out."

"Especially his," he remarks, glancing at my swollen abdomen. "Pulling double duty like that?"

I shake my head, opening the Internet app and typing. "He's not pulling double duty. We aren't together anymore, Mia just doesn't know yet so I had to play along. Mateo doesn’t like when you tell people things before he’s ready. He's telling her tonight. He’ll probably give her a couple orgasms first, then spring it on her when she’s sated and snuggling. Do you like comedy?"

Since that last question didn't go with the rest, he hesitates. "Do I like comedy? Sure."

"Mateo isn't into comedy shows. There's one I want to go to that starts in a little over an hour. You game? We can grab a drink first. Well, you can drink. I obviously can't."

Rafe blinks, clearly caught off-guard. "Just the two of us?"

I quirk an eyebrow at him. "Unless you're a debutante. Do you require a chaperone to protect your pure-and-good reputation?"

Rafe's mouth curves up in amusement. "I don't have that sort of reputation at all."

"I kinda figured. You were also Mia’s escort from Vegas, so I assume you’re a badass Morelli, fully capable of defending our lives should an enemy pop up and try to murder us?”

He doesn’t play at modesty. “I am.”

“Great, then we’re all set.” I glance up, raising my eyebrows. "I've got two tickets in my cart. What do you say?"

"Is Mateo going to kick my ass if I say yes?"

"Nope. I was given permission to seduce Alec, so I think a casual evening out on the town with you is pre-approved."

Now he rears back a little. "You're sleeping with Alec?"

Sighing heavily, I go ahead and click confirm on the tickets. He's too slow. He'll just have to deal with it. "Nope, I'm not sleeping with anyone. Since you clearly fucked Mia in Vegas, I'm assuming you aren't either. May as well take you out for a night on the town while you’re here. Once you get home you’ll realize you can't live without her, then you’ll come back to try and steal her away from Mateo. Then he’ll murder you, since for some reason he hasn’t already. So, while you’re alive and your handsome face is all in one piece, I may as well spend a few hours looking at it."

Rafe chuckles, his brown eyes twinkling with amusement. "None of that is going to happen. I didn't fuck Mia, and I'm not really the 'fight for her' type. If she's mine, she's mine. If she's not, she's not."

Nodding my head, I tell him, "Yeah, me too, usually. Mateo made me lose my mind for a little while, but if anyone could do it…”

Rafe nods his agreement. “Yeah, I can’t blame you there. Mateo’s… special.”

I grin, closing my apps and pushing up off the sofa. “I’m gonna go kiss my babies and grab my purse. Meet me by the door in ten minutes.”

He looks a little confused. He clearly wasn’t prepared for me after spending this week with Mia. I take pity on him, giving his shoulder a reassuring squeeze before I leave the room and head upstairs to say my goodnights.

  ---

Rafe’s brown eyes are warm and dancing with amusement as he sets his empty drink glass down on the counter. “He fake killed him?”

I nod my head, stirring my virgin daiquiri. “Fake killed him real good. Mia was a wreck. So, yeah, that’s why she got in the car with him in the first place.”

“And she forgave Mateo for torturing her?”

“Oh yeah, she forgives him for everything. It’s their foreplay, I think. He gives her brain a thorough fuck, then sweeps in and saves her from the fake reality he created for her, and she rewards him with wide-eyed adoration and thank-you sex.”

Rafe takes a drink, the corners of his mouth curving upward in a sexy little smirk. “Sounds like a real fairytale.”

“He’s done horrible things to her.” I look down at the slushy pink drink as I stir it. “That girl is mentally incapable of holding a grudge, though.”

“I don’t know,” he says, shaking his head. “She was really pushing Vince. He was ready to strangle her little ass. I think she’s going to hold onto that grudge.”

I nod knowingly. “And yet when Mateo tries to send someone to murder Vince tomorrow, guess who’s going to stop him?”

Rafe shakes his head. “Vince is gone. I gave him a head start. Even if Mateo sent guys as soon as I called, Vince was already out of there.”

“He’ll find him,” I assure Rafe. “He’ll want to kill him for taking Mia. She’ll beg him not to. He probably will anyway, but he’ll make sure Mia doesn’t know. Even after Vince kidnapped her, she won’t want it. Mia is irrationally nice; she’s made of love and forgiveness. The only thing Mia won’t forgive is disloyalty to Mateo.”

“His perfect match,” he remarks lightly.

I nod, a little less lightly, and take a sip of my drink. “Yep.”

Apparently realizing my role as Mateo’s recent ex, he glances over at me with a grimace. “Sorry, probably shouldn’t have said that.”

I wave him off. “No, it’s true. Besides, if you want a happy future, you don’t focus on what’s not there anymore, you focus on building something new. Breaking up with someone else’s soul mate is far from the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.”

“What is the worst thing that’s ever happened to you?”

I wrinkle my nose up at him and light up my phone. “I’ve known you for a few hours. You don’t get to that level in a few hours; sorry, bub.” Raising my gaze to search for the bartender, I add, “And we need to get going if we want to make the show.”

“We could skip the show,” he suggests. “I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to leave.”

“Well, you can drink,” I say, lightly.

The corners of his mouth tick up. “Not enjoying my company without alcohol? I’ll have to step it up a notch.”

Instead of tossing back a light, snappy comeback, I sink into a little pocket of feelings. I’m done having babies after this one, I swear to God. I can’t deal with emotional Meg. I was fully prepared to use Mateo’s sexy cousin tonight. Mateo has left me wanting for a while, so I figured a pseudo-date would be fun. A handsome man to accompany me out on the town—and a nice, safe pick, since this guy lives far, far away. I’ll probably never see him again after tonight.

“I’m enjoying your company just fine,” I tell
him. “But we already have tickets.”

He rolls his eyes like he’s never heard a more ridiculous excuse. “I’ll pay you back for the tickets.”

“I paid with Mateo’s credit card; I don’t need reimbursement.”

“There you go, fuck it. Let’s blow it off and stay here.”

“Why?” I ask, frowning at him.

Shrugging casually, he says, “Why not? If we’re having a good time where we’re at, why change venues?”

Laughing lightly, I tell him, “You’re definitely not Mateo.”

  “Correct.”

I consider him for another moment, then I ask, “What’s your type?”

  “Of woman?”

  I nod.

As if he can already tell this is going to be a dealbreaker, Rafe eases back off the bar top. “Do I have to have a type?”

“You don’t have to, but you do. And it’s not me, right?”

“I don’t know,” he says, lightly amused. “As much fun as this has been, you’ve regaled me with carefully chosen tales that reveal nothing personal. You don’t want to tell me anything about yourself.”

I do not take the bait. “It’s Mia, right?”

  His easy smile slips.

“I mean, not like you’re going to get hung up on her specifically, but she’s your type. All delicate and adoring. Submissive,” I add, raising my eyebrows pointedly. “You don’t go for the kind of woman who takes charge and plans your evening; you like a compliant little Rebecca who can be pulled back and forth between Rafes and Mateos. You lose your control over her and she loses your interest. I understand the five years of my life I spent with Mateo might lead you to believe otherwise, but I am nothing like that. There’s a reason Mia is the one he’s in bed with right now. I’m not submissive. You can’t control me, and I will never lose sleep wondering if I still have a man’s interest. Mateo was a stretch for me, and frankly I’m not interested in a repeat, not even for one night.”
