“Then let me fucking help you!” He sat in the recliner. “We’ve known each other a long time. I’ve got money. I know how to run a ranch—this ranch—the way it should be run. You don’t, and that’s fine. Let me help you.”

She chewed on her lower lip. “So what? You’re just going to give me the money and walk away? It could take years before I can pay it back and that’s not even my biggest issue. I don’t have all the ranch hands I need. Many of them quit on me because they wanted more money—money that my father promised and didn’t deliver.”

Blaine blew out a breath. “Erin, your father didn’t promise them anything. Those men are scamming you because they know they can take advantage. I’ll give you the money. Not as a loan, but a partnership. I’ll take over running the place while you go back to sitting next to the pool looking pretty.”

For whatever reason, his words had made her mad. She grabbed the laundry basket and stomped out of the room, heading toward the hall on the first floor. Blaine closed his eyes and dropped his head back against the headrest on the chair. If he could win for losing, he’d be a lucky man.

  Chapter Five

Erin tossed and turned all night until she simply couldn’t stand it anymore. She threw her blankets back and sat up, cursing Blaine with every name in the book. His offer sounded too good to be true. He would buy into the ranch as a partnership. She’d have him around all the time to run the everyday things, leaving her time free to do whatever she wanted.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

She went to the door and glanced out into the dark hallways. The boys came back late, most of them drunk from what she could tell. They had one hell of a time without her. Same old, same old. She crept down the hallway, heading toward the kitchen. Whatever her problem was, it could usually be contemplated over a nice bowl of ice cream. Maybe the whole tub, considering what she’d been through lately. She flipped the light on in the kitchen and headed to the large, stainless steel refrigerator.

“If you want ice cream, you’re going to have to fight me for it.”

She jumped and turned toward the sound of the voice. Blaine sat at the bar, hair rumpled, as he leaned over the tub of ice cream with a spoon. Erin sighed and reached for the handle on the flatware drawer.

“So you’re stealing my ice cream now?” She leaned across the bar and dipped her spoon in the container.

  “I didn’t eat dinner.”

She licked the creamy dessert off the spoon. “The only time you eat ice cream is when you’re sexually frustrated.”

“That, too.” He pushed the carton away.

She watched him a moment. He propped his head on his fist and stared at the countertop as if it were the most interesting thing on earth. Blaine never acted this way. She dipped the ice cream in the container and took another bite.

“Blaine, how are you going to stay here when you’ve got the rodeo?”

“I’m retiring. Austin is my last stop. I planned that before I even got here.”

Erin blinked a few times. “You’re retiring?”

He didn’t say anything. She watched him as she ate her ice cream, wondering why this suddenly came about. He loved the rodeo. Lived for it. She’d seen him on TV a few times and knew he was pretty good. His scores put him at the top of the board and the endorsements came soon after.

“Why are you giving up the rodeo?” She sat the ice cream carton aside and tossed her spoon in the sink.

  “Too old.”

She frowned. “We’re the same age, buddy. Don’t say you’re old.”

He grinned and sat up. “I hurt my back in Cheyenne about five months ago. My team of doctors suggested I take a break from riding, but I think it’s time to call it quits.”

“And ranching is what you want to do?”

He nodded. “It sounded like a good idea to me. I don’t really have another place to go. My house in Austin is more for show than living and my parents died years ago.” He shrugged. “You’re all I’ve got.”

Well, when he put it that way…Erin met his eyes. Blaine may be stubborn, but he was a sweet teddy bear underneath the rigid exterior. Well, most of the time.

She considered his plan. It really was the best option. She needed someone that knew how to run the place, and he knew more than she ever would. He also pulled at her heartstrings when he pointed out his parents had passed away. Maybe she had gotten it all wrong before. Maybe Blaine really did want to help and she overreacted.

“Fine. You’re hired, partner.” She leaned against the counter. “I’m sorry I overreacted earlier.”

He ran his fingers through his hair. “You’re forgiven. I’ll stop by the bank tomorrow to pay off the debt.”

She walked around the bar and wrapped her arms around him. “Now that that’s settled, carry me to bed.”

Blaine smiled. He looked like a movie star when his smile went all the way to his eyes. He swiveled around and lifted her into his arms. He walked to the living room and laid her on the couch. She shook her head as he leaned over her, knowing full and well this time they’d actually wind up sticky and sweaty from an intense round of make-up sex.

He lifted her shirt over her head and slipped his fingers in her waistband, tugging her pants off her legs. She lay topless in front of him, his eyes taking in every inch of her skin.

He reached to the side for an unopened box of condoms. “Take off your panties.”

Erin stared at him. He had a wild look in his eyes, one that turned her on. “I thought you were undressing me?”

He tore open a condom and pulled the thin rubber out. “Take your panties off.”

She didn’t move. The other men may be on the third floor, but nothing stopped them from coming downstairs for some reason. Blaine stood and shoved his boxers to the floor, kneeling on the couch, waiting.

He motioned to her before rolling on the condom. “Panties. Off. Now.”

She gave up protesting and lifted her hips to tug the thin cotton off her body. She watched as Blaine pushed her legs apart.

“Wait.” Erin grabbed his hand, but Blaine didn’t seem to care. “The money has nothing to do with sex, right?”

Blaine pushed her hand away. “You’re not that cheap.” He touched her slick folds, rimming her entrance with his finger. “Are you this wet because I’m moving in?”

“I’m this wet because I want you inside me.”

He met her eyes. “Lucky for you, I want that, too, but I’m going to eat your pussy first.”

He shifted to the floor and moved one leg so that her foot rested against the wooden coffee table while the other one propped up against the sofa cushions.

  His hungry gaze caressed her.

Erin watched as Blaine lowered his head to lick her. She gripped his hair and pulled him closer, widening her legs even more. Much like Blaine in the shower, she needed the release, too.

The blunt tip of his finger rimmed her anus, and she closed her eyes. The sensation was new. She wasn’t sure it was something she wanted, but she trusted Blaine. That surprised her more than anything. Five years had passed, and she still trusted him.

Blaine pressed his finger inside, as he sucked her clit between his lips. A shiver slithered down her spine. She swallowed, taking in the new sensation of his mouth and his fingers. Her tight muscles clamped around the digit as he withdrew, eliciting a new round of pleasure through her. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Then he changed his technique. His tongue slid inside her while his finger pumped into her ass. Erin clutched the back of his head and pulled him closer. Tension coiled in her belly as he worked her over with his tongue and fingers. When she thought she couldn’t take anymore, he slipped a finger inside her pussy while his lips clasped her clit, sucking hard.

A sharp scream filled the silence surrounding them. Erin shook violently, arching, as Blaine relentlessly continued, pumping and sucking until she thought she’d die of pleasure. When the last ripple of pleasure subs
ided, he withdrew his fingers from her. He met her eyes and gave her slit one long lick.

It was intimate, that look. Almost as if her desire fueled his own. She watched as Blaine finally pulled back and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. He didn’t say anything. Her thoughts swirled in her mind with what would happen next. She smiled.

“I take it you liked that,” he said.

Erin laughed and reached for his dick. “I’d like this even better.”

Blaine cursed. His rubber-covered cock pressed against her palm and she stroked the full length. He let her touch him, clutching the back of the couch as he knelt between her legs. Erin wanted to see him lose control. She wanted him to give into the animalistic desire and pound into her like his life depended on it. Her fingers traced the underside of his cock. He didn’t move. He simply let her touch him, not saying one word.

  “Are you Superman now?”

“Far from it,” he said through clenched teeth.

“How did this play out in your mind, cowboy?”

He took in a shaky breath. “It’s going pretty good so far. I don’t have any complaints.”

She took her hand from him. “So you didn’t intend to do anal?”

He closed his eyes briefly before finally meet her gaze. “No. Not the first time. Not on the sofa.”

She watched him. He looked so ruggedly handsome, like a man filled with need and desire. His body was marred with a few scars she didn’t know about. She made a mental note to ask him about that later. Blaine let the back of the couch go and leaned down to kiss her. His rubber-covered cock brushed against her wetness, and Erin lifted her hips against him. Blaine gripped her hips and parted his lips, thrusting his tongue into her mouth at the same time his cock filled her pussy.

Erin arched off the sofa at the fullness, clutching his sides as she kissed him back. She wanted this over the years. She pictured Blaine and Kade drowning her with kisses and loving her until they were all sated. She didn’t realize how much she missed them until they walked back into her life.

Blaine pumped into her, holding her hips at the perfect angle to meet his demanding thrusts. She closed her eyes, giving herself to the mindless haze good sex brought. His mouth came against her neck as he leaned over her. Erin locked her legs around his waist. Sweat dotted their skin. Hot desire bubbled inside her. Erin gripped the leather of the couch. Her orgasm teetered on the edge as his thrusts grew more demanding.

  “What the hell?”

She peered around Blaine, and spotted Scotty and Kade standing behind them, watching their every move. The sight of their faces alone sent her orgasm spiraling out of control through her.

“Fuck.” Blaine grunted and thrust hard one last time, taking his own pleasure.

Erin laid against the couch, her sweaty skin sticking to the smooth leather. She didn’t even bother trying to move as someone handed Blaine a washrag to clean her up. The warm swipe of the soft cloth between her moist lips triggered a pure shot of desire to her core. God, she’d had two orgasms. Surely that was enough for one night.

Kade moved around the couch while Scotty stood at her feet. She threw her arm over her eyes, grimacing when the leather pulled at her skin. Her mindless state of euphoria prevented her from any intellectual conversation they probably wanted to have.

“So are you two together now?” Scotty asked, sounding none too happy about the idea.

Blaine sat on the other sofa. “Erin and I are going to be partners at running this ranch. I’m moving back here after Austin.”

Erin pushed up, the crack of leather peeling away from her skin sounding in the silence. “No we’re not together. Not like that.”

She avoided Blaine’s eyes and reached for her shirt. After pulling it on, she searched for her pants. She and Blaine were not exclusive. He had to understand that. She did not favor him over anyone else in the house. She found her pants and pulled them on, too.

“What are you like then?” Kade asked.

She ran her fingers through her hair. “We’re not exclusive.”

She turned to see all three men staring back at her. She blew out a breath. This was getting deep really fast. Sex with Blaine was one thing. With the other guys looking at her like she betrayed them, that was another.

“I want you all.” She crossed her arms over her chest. “It may seem weird or you may not want it, but that’s what I want.”

“We all want you, too,” Scotty replied. “Dierks and Devin included.”

  “Sexually,” Kade added.

Her gaze traveled to each man sitting in front of her. They all wanted to sleep with her? Kade had a goofy grin on his face. She didn’t know what to think. She loved them, undoubtedly. Blaine had changed his plans to stay with her, and she wondered if he convinced all of them to.

“What are you thinking right now?” Blaine asked.

She sat on the coffee table. “I don’t know, to tell you the truth. All of you are leaving in a few days, except for Blaine. It doesn’t seem right to fuck like bunnies then have you guys run off and never look back. I’ve been there before. Five years ago, to be exact.”

“What if we stay?” Kade proposed. “We’d travel to the rodeo, of course, but we’d be here all other times. This place is big enough for us, and you wouldn’t have to worry about hiring more people to work.”

Erin thought about it a moment. It sounded like a great idea. An impossible idea. “Can six people really move in together and it not get weird?”

“We can if you want. It’s not about us. It’s about you. What do you want?” Scotty asked.

Erin took a minute to think about it. The past few days had been wonderful. She had her best friends back. Rory had deserted her with them, but he’d been right when he told Blaine that she spent her days isolated. She’d been lost since her father grew sick and even more so when he’d died. She smiled now, with the men, something she rarely did before. She loved how they took care of her, helped her without being asked, and made her feel special. Wanted.

“I want it. Individual, ménages, everything.”

The men grinned like fools, except for Blaine. Blaine’s eyes burned into her, heating her body to dangerous degrees.

“You’ll get your wish then,” Scotty promised. “While we’re here, each of us will live in the rooms we’ve picked out. We’ll have to work out some kind of schedule…”

Blaine stood. “Except for me. I get your bed.”

She smiled as he walked out of the living room. She looked forward to it.

  Chapter Six

Scotty spotted Erin relaxing by the pool when he came to the house to get a new pair of work gloves from the supply room. He paused, scratching his head as he stared at her nearly naked form. He wasn’t sure what he expected in coming to the ranch, but the opportunity to be with Erin was a pleasant surprise.

He walked toward her. “You’re not working today?”

She snorted. “Blaine kicked me out of the barn.” She rolled her eyes and sat her magazine to the side. “He’s so damn bossy. He’s got a big head now, since I put him in charge. He told me not to worry about anything. That I should just put on my bikini and lounge around the pool.” She narrowed her eyes. “Do you have any idea how boring it is to lounge around the pool by yourself?”

Scotty sat beside her in a vacant lounge chair, chuckling lightly. “The bastard. You need some company.”

“Yes.” She smiled and rolled to face him. “You’re so cute in your white Stetson. You’re going to get it dirty out there working, though.”

Scotty pulled it off his head and plopped it on hers. “Keep it for me then.”

She reached for his hand and dragged him closer. Her soft skin was coated with tropical-smelling oil that drove him wild. She pulled him on top of her and kissed him. The hat fell off her head and dropped to the ground beside her chair. Neither he nor Erin seemed to care.

He pulled back and propped himself up with a hand next to her head. “Blaine’s going to fire
me if I don’t get back to work.”

She smiled up at him. “You leave Blaine to me. He needs a good ass kicking, and I’m the perfect one to do it.”

She pushed Scotty’s shirt up and tugged it off his body. He blew out a breath and moved over her, trying to balance his weight without falling off the lounge. She smoothed her hands down his sides to his waistband and undid the zipper.

  “I don’t have a condom.”

“I do.” Erin paused and reached for the bag she had to the side of her. She pulled out a rubber and sat it on her stomach. “You look sexy, cowboy.”

Scotty leaned down and licked her lips. “You’re the sexy one.”

He kissed her as she slipped her hand in his pants, wrapping her fingers around his cock. Ever since last night, the thought of fucking her hadn’t left his mind. He’d carried her naked to her bed, and she had told him she wanted to be with all the men in the house. It was music to his ears.

She stroked his dick until he couldn’t wait any longer. He took the condom and ripped the packaging, pushing her hand away for a moment to roll the thin sheath on. God, he wanted this woman from the first time he laid eyes on her at fifteen, and now that he was thirty, times hadn’t changed.

Her little silver bikini with red hearts tied at each of her hips. He tugged the strings loose. Scotty stared down at the slick folds of her pussy and damn near lost his mind. She smiled at him, and he pushed her legs wider, propping them up on the arms of the chair.

“You’re nothing but trouble.” He poised his dick at her entrance. “But, damn, I fucking love it.”

Scotty pushed in with one smooth stroke, and Erin’s nails bit into his shoulders. Her tight pussy clenched around him, gripping him in a tight, wet vise that tested his control. Digging his fingers into her soft flesh, he pummeled into her. The little gasps she made pushed him closer and closer.

Her back arched off the lounge chair as her pussy milked his cock. She cried out as her pleasure took her, rocketing Scotty into his own ecstasy. He panted, collapsing on top of her as he tried to regain some strength back. A hard, fast fuck on the lounge chair had not been what he planned originally. Nor had he planned to fuck her in the middle of a long work day either.
