  Damien knew he had been dismissed and walked him to the door. As the door clicked, he saw Kassandra standing at the top of the stairs wrapped in her robe. She joined him, a questioning look on her face. “Lazzaro came by to give me something my mother had given him.”

  Kassandra looked at the box in his hand, “That is the same pattern as your tattoo.”

  Damien nodded as he opened it. Inside the box lay two envelopes, one addressed to him and one to his sister. “My mother wrote us letters.” Damien said as he picked up the envelopes.

  He felt her put her hand on his, taking the box and putting them on the table next to them. “You know if she is out there, we will find her.”

  Damien pulled her into his arms putting his forehead against hers. “I know my love, I know.”

  Leilani Love is a proud mother of two very active boys. She loves traveling to new places and meeting new people wherever she goes. Thus far, Leilani has visited Paris, DenBosch and Amsterdam and hopes to one-day return. On her next trip she hopes to be able to make stops in Scotland and Italy. Currently residing in California, she has also lived in Hawaii, Florida, Alaska, Virginia, Texas, Washington and Oregon. She loves to read books and has a passion for various genres.
