“I’m not going anywhere. I’ve always got you.”

Mitchell moved his body over hers. She felt his cock close to where she wanted it, but not quite there. He was resting on his forearms, and she felt the pressure of his weight. He fit his cock right at her entrance, and she squirmed. “You need to be still. Open your mouth.” She opened her mouth even though it was hard to be still. “Bite.” She did and her mouth filled with fresh strawberry. The juice over flowed her mouth and he licked what was running down her chin, but missed some, too. “Mmm, sweet,” he said as she chewed. “Open again.” She did his bidding, and this time he squirted Reddi-Wip into her mouth. “Swallow, baby,” he said as he filled her again. She did and some escaped out of the corners of her mouth. He chuckled then kissed it off. He pushed inside her as his tongue plundered her mouth. She felt him slide an arm between them just before she felt the vibration.

She tried to pull back from him, but he followed her. She moaned, and he caught it in his mouth. The kiss was just as frantic as the movement of the rest of their bodies. They were in perfect sync. The kiss ended at the same time he flooded her, and they were both panting for much-needed oxygen. He removed the blindfold and rested his forehead on hers as he turned off his vibrator, but didn’t move to leave her body. “I kinda like you like this, at my mercy,” he said with the most beautiful smile on his face.

“I like being at your mercy,” she said as she gazed into his eyes.

As their heart rates settled to normal, he reached for the banana. “I didn’t use this, you want a bite now? I enjoy feeding you.”

She opened her mouth to take a bite. “I’m kinda sticky. I need to rinse off.”

“That hot tub offer still good?”

“Yes. Once you uncuff me, I’ll show you how to turn it on so it can heat up.”

“If only it had your buttons…” He flipped the safety latch on the cuffs to free her hands. When she brought them down, he took her left hand and kissed the back of it. “This was my mother’s ring. I had it sized and reset after you called about a place to stay, but before you got to town. I was surprised Mr. Connelly at the jewelry store could keep a secret,” he said with a chuckle. “I made sure Evan was okay with it before I talked with your Dad. Evan’s happy, and I have your parents’ blessing. I want you to know that I didn’t hide this from anyone. The only thing left is to ask Ginger where I can get a tattoo.”

She cupped his face and leaned up to kiss him. “You are a good man, Mitch. I could never pick a better man to spend the rest of my life with.”

He rolled off and helped her up. She showed him everything he needed to know for the hot tub. “Okay. That’s your job from now on. I’ll grab some towels out of our bathroom while it heats up.”

As she turned to leave, he caught her arm. “You said our bathroom.”

She held up her left hand and wiggled her fingers. “Our,” she said.

He pulled her into his arms. “I can get used to that.”

  “Me, too.”

It was a clear night and the stars were beautiful, as was the rest of the weekend. They made sure to call her parents before they went home. She hated to see Monday come, but they both wanted to tell the world they were getting married.

Three days ago, Harley Youngener was released from jail. He had yet to call or visit Judge Bishop, who was getting worried as to Harley’s whereabouts. The Judge knew Harley was pissed when he put him in jail, but since Richard Beal was in the courtroom with those other men, the Judge knew it was the only way to protect him. The Judge paid his fine through a friend who would keep his secret.

Judge Bishop started to dial Harley’s number again when there was a knock on his door. “Come in,” he said as he hung up the phone.

“Judge,” Deputy Smith said when he opened the door. “I brought you some folders over from the jail. I think there’s one in particular you’d like to see.”

When the Judge flipped to the second file, there was a picture of Harley. The Judge looked at the Deputy. “You see, Judge. The other night at the jail, there was an inmate who seemed to take a likin’ to your boy, Harley. He made comments about how pretty his mouth was and how tight his ass looked. Knowin’ how special your boy is to you, I took special care and put him in isolation for his last couple of nights with us. Now the other mornin’, this is how I found him.”

The picture in front of the Judge showed Harley out of his mind. He had bruising on his face with a tourniquet and syringe lying beside him. He had been shot up with drugs.

“It’d be real bad if he was that vulnerable out in general population, wouldn’t it? God only knows what some of those inmates would do to him, especially those that haven’t had a woman in a while.”

“Did you keep him in for drugs?”

“Oh, no sir. He was released right on schedule. Thing is, though, sometimes all it takes is one taste of heroin and they’re hooked. Your boy may be out looking for another hit as we speak. He may not want to face you after he’s shot up and all. You just don’t know where you may find him, but I hope you do before someone else does.”

  “What does that mean, Deputy?”

“It means you need to keep what you know to yourself, Judge.”

“Did you do this to him? I’ll have your badge for this.”

“You can try. Maybe next time he won’t just be high,” the Deputy said as he walked out of his office.

The Judge picked up the phone and made a call. He waited through four rings. “Riverton Crossing Hospital Emergency Room.”

  “Doctor Gregory, please.”

The receptionist put him on hold. He waited for several minutes and moved to hang up when he heard, “This is Dr. Gregory.”

“Thomas, this is Judge Bishop. I’m looking for a young man. I understand you were at Mitchell Riverton’s place when those two men were arrested for trespassing.”

  “That’s correct.”

“The one that was driving. Have you seen him come into the emergency room?”

“I’m just coming on shift. I haven’t made rounds to see who’s where yet, Judge. If I see him, would you like me to call you?”

“Yes. Thank you, Doctor. Can I give you my cell number?”

  “Go ahead.”

He gave Thomas his number. “Call me any time of day.”

“Judge, can you tell me what this is about?”

“I’d like to, but it’s personal.”

  “Sure, Judge.”

He went through Harley’s file page by page once more to make sure he hadn’t missed anything. It was dark when he left his office. He didn’t touch the other files but took the picture with him. He drove blindly to her house, looking up and down every street he passed, searching for Harley’s car. There was a chance he’d actually be with her. The Judge knew it was all kinds of messed up, but he needed her tonight for himself.

When he turned the corner, he didn’t see any cars so he pulled behind her house. He knocked on the back door as was their habit and waited a few minutes before he saw her walking toward the door.

  “Good evening, Judge.”

“Ruby, do you have time for me?”

“Anything for you,” she said as she escorted him inside.

  “Have you seen Harley?”

She looked at him with shock on her face. “Judge, you know I don’t kiss and tell, and good for you that I don’t.”

  “It’s important, Ruby. I wouldn’t ask otherwise.”

“No, Judge. I haven’t seen him for over a month. I do miss him, though.”

He spent the next hour letting her relax him. As he pulled on his pants, his phone rang in his jacket pocket. “Judge Bishop.”

“Judge, it’s Doctor Gregory. You may want to come down to the hospital.”
