He is a Licensed Battlefield Guide at Gettysburg National Military Park, and has taught Gettysburg- related courses (including Sickles) for Harrisburg Area Community College and the Gettysburg Foundation. Jim has published articles on the Civil War for Gettysburg Magazine and America’s Civil War, and speaks regularly at Civil War Round Tables. A native of Buffalo, New York, he resides in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with his wife Michele and their two children, Alex and Aimee.
