Accidental Lover (Wolven Moon Book 3)

Bite down harder, peaches.
Our waiter brings the main course. I pour the rest of the champagne.
Watching Cherie’s tongue curl around a crab leg – butter glistening on her lips, I shift in my seat, rearrange myself in my pants. Remembering the sensations when she licked me like that just a hour or so ago, my cock hardens in a split second.
I wasn’t exaggerating, either. It was the best blow job I’ve ever been gifted. And I’ve had some practiced mouths on me before. What made the difference tonight? That it was Cherie’s mouth, my dream girl’s pink little tongue and soft lips on me? Timid and innocent at first, she caught on pretty quickly.
Fuck, can mi ninfa give head, keeping the perfect pressure between hand, tongue and lips. She even tried deep throating my cock. No girl has ever done that for me before. I think they were too afraid to even try. Not Cherie. I’m beginning to realize that when she decides to do something, the girl goes all in.
Me, too, sweetness, me, too.
She dips a crab leg in melted butter and wraps her tongue around it to lick it off. Does she know what she’s doing to me as she laps at her food like that? I glance at her eyes. They crinkle and sparkle. She’s been teasing me. Little shit bites her lip trying not to laugh. She knew exactly what I was thinking watching her mouth.
“Cherie,” I whisper. “You are one mean little virgin.”
“But I’m not a virgin anymore. Thanks to you, Victor, I’m receiving a very good education.” She giggles, licks the butter off that pouty mouth.
“What I’ve done is create a monster,” I say grinning.
I watch her dunk a longer piece of crab in butter.
“Mmmm.” Putting it her mouth, she wraps her lips around it and pulls it out as though it’s my cock she’s sucking.
I stand. Grabbing her with one hand, I make a move like I’ll sweep lit candles and all off the table with the other arm.
“I’ll fuck you right here on this table,” I murmur low.
“Okay, okay.” She laughs. “I’ll stop.”
Hands on the arms of her chair, I trap her and kiss her hard. “Just wait. You’re going to find out what happens when you tease Victor Santana.” I brush her nose with mine.
“Promises. Promises.” She bats her lashes at me.
I groan, taking her mouth, again.
Alec comes into the room. He grins pointedly at my bulge. “Problem?”
“None she can’t take care of.”
Now my girl blushes.
Alec clears his throat. “Well, I was going to see if you two lovebirds want dessert. Not sure we have what you need, though.”
Amazingly, Cherie turns a deeper pink. Biting her lip to keep from laughing, she stares out the window.
Tongue in cheek and chuckling myself, I ask softly, “Do you want dessert, sweetness?”
“Yes.” Still blushing and stifling her laughter, she lifts her chin and turns to Alec. “Do you have strawberries and whipped cream?”
Throwing his head back, Alec laughs loud from his gut. “Oh, Santana, I like this girl. Where did you find her?”
Her eyes on mine, Cherie’s grin fades. She’s afraid I’ll tell the truth.
“In my dreams, Alec. I found her in my dreams.” I kiss her lightly before going back to my seat.
Cherie pushes her chair back. “Which way is the restroom?”
Using his hands, Alec explains. “Keep going past the entrance. The ladies room is to the left of the bar.”
I watch mi pequeña’s ass sway as she leaves.
Alec waits until she’s out of ear shot. “Holy shit, man. You got it bad.”
“I do, don’t I?” I couldn’t stifle my big ass grin if I wanted to.
He chuckles, pats me on the back. “Strawberries and whipped cream coming right up.”
chapter sixteen
ON THE WAY back to our private dining room, I pause in the archway and observe Victor. God, he’s so damn good looking. Unlike the boys and men I know, he’s just so completely male and so completely at ease with himself. Not arrogant, but confident. As he stares at the view, the candlelight makes his eyes glitter like high quality smokey quartz. It looks like he’s thinking about something pretty serious.
Serious.
This whole evening has turned far too serious. I tried to lighten it up by teasing him with the crab. That seemed to backfire on me.
One on One by Hall and Oats plays on the dock. Guess he loaded the playlist with 80s love songs.
I’m still unclear why he’s impersonating Romeo. I like it, have to admit and that’s where the problem lies. It’s easy to see how women fall head over heels when guys do things like this, when they act like you’re precious to them. And maybe we are at that moment in time. It’s long term that counts, and that’s where most men fail — fail horribly.
My heart wants to believe that he’s one of the trustworthy ones. My head is saying I’ve known him for a nanosecond. How can I possibly think he’s trustworthy or, more to the point, have feelings for him that even makes trustworthiness an issue?
“Hey lady.” Alec comes up behind me with our dessert. He puts an arm around my waist, forcing me forward into the room.
Victor stands, smiles at me, glowers playfully at Alec.
“Thank you.” I sit in the chair Victor holds for me.
Alec puts the strawberries in the center of the table.
“Thanks, Alec. Bye, Alec.” Victor says.
Alec chuckles and leaves. As he does, Victor places his chair right next to mine, effectively trapping me in the corner by the window. He hoards the bowl of berries.
“Hey,” I say. “I want some.”
“I’ll feed you,” he says, grabbing my hand as I reach for them.
He swirls a berry in cream and touches it to my lower lip.
“Oops. Look at that, I missed your mouth. Let me get that for you.”
Biting the spot of cream, he then licks it and kisses me deeply. His lips mere inches from mine, he holds the berry to my mouth and watches me take a bite. Little by little, he lets me eat that berry and picks up another.
On the fifth berry, he once again ‘misses’ my mouth, licking me clean and then kissing me. His kisses tonight are different than last night. They’re soft and sweet, tender like Jesse’s. I prefer the fiery passionate ones. They’re safer. Finding it hard to breathe, I back off.
“What’s wrong, Cherie?” He caresses my cheek with his knuckles.
For the third time in one day, there’s moisture in my eyes. I’m not a crier. I’ve cried more today than I have in the last six years.
“I think I’m just tired. Not much sleep last night and the hike today. Also, the additional altitude up here on the mountain seems to be making me light headed.” Maybe that’s my problem — lack of oxygen.
“You ready to go, then?”
I nod, wiping my mouth. I put my napkin on the table and stand as he pulls out my chair.
In the lobby, Victor tells Alec to send him the bill.
“You got it. I’ll add a 25% gratuity for the inconvenience.”
Victor shakes his head and laughs.
“Highway robbery. I’ll send someone for the flowers tomorrow. Fritzi wants them back for Gabby’s wedding.” He hands me the blanket. “Can you hold this, Cherie? I have to use the facilities before we head down.” He goes into the men’s room.
“Alec, dinner was wonderful. Mister A’s is spectacular. I’ll definitely recommend it to guests.”
“Thank you for the compliment. By the way, Victor hasn’t laughed in years like he has with you tonight. You’re good for him. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up.”
I smile.
Victor returns, opens the exit door for me and waves to Alec. “Thanks, man.”
“Yup.” Alec lifts his chin in acknowledgement. Then, Victor and I are on our way to the gondola station. On the platform, I hesitate, my fear kicking in. I take deep breaths and blow them out.
Victor massages my
shoulders and back. “C’mon, you can do this.” He grins and shrugs. “Or we can roll down.”
I laugh. I have to admit that laughter seems to work better at calming phobias than deep breathing does.
Still, a little witchcraft couldn’t hurt. “I call on you precious elements of steel, spirits of air, protect my path from up here to down there,” I whisper.
“Ready?” Victor holds out his hand.
Smiling through the fear, I take his hand and step into the cabin, moving to sit on the bench.
“Uh, uh.” He lays the blanket the bench next to him, and, as the door slides shut, lifts me onto his lap. “Like we rode up. You did well this way.”
The guy running the station smiles at us. We don’t even clear the platform before Victor’s mouth crushes mine. No sweet and tender this kiss. It’s hard and demanding, coupled with a hand up my skirt and the other up my sweater.
“Pull up your sweater,” he pants.
I do. He unhooks the front clasp and quickly catches a nipple in his mouth. And just like that, I’m soaring with desire and squirming against him.
Throwing my head back, I give in to the pleasure. His fingers dip under my panties, circle the edge of my slit.
“Damn, you’re so ready for me already?” His mouth moves to my other breast and a finger slides inside me.
“Victor.” I clench my muscles.
“Stand up,” he growls.
When I do, Victor tears my panties off in a single jerk. He rises off the bench enough to unzip and lower his pants to his ankles, freeing his erection.
“Fuck,” he says, pausing.
“What’s wrong?”
“I don’t have a condom.”
“Does it matter? You’re clean and I’m on the pill.”
“I was hoping you’d say that.” Hands on my waist, he sits back down. “Ride me, peaches.”
“Show me how.”
“It’ll be my pleasure. Hold my cock and guide me in.” I grip him while he lifts me and slowly sets me down on top of his erection.
Teeth clenched and locking eyes with mine, he slides deep, deep, filling me –– more than filling me.
Sitting on him like this gives us an entirely new angle — his arousal grazes an exquisite, sensitive spot toward the front of me.
I circle my hips slowly, feel him stretching me, occasionally stroking that wonderful spot.
“Am I hurting you?” He asks.
“Not at all.”
“So glad, sweetness.” He slides forward on the bench. With that little shift, he hits that magic spot full on. I gasp at the intense pleasure.
“You like that? That’s your g-spot right there.” He bucks his hips slightly.
“Oh, god.” I moan an answer at the sensation.
With a prideful male smirk, he does it again. Then he kisses my shoulders and throat before lowering his mouth to suckle a nipple.
The myriad of sensations take control of my body. I need to move, not caring if we rock the damn gondola right off the cable. I attempt to raise myself up and down on him, but my position is too awkward, the bench too hard on my knees.
Victor let’s go of my nipple to softly whisper instructions. “Move front to back.” Hands on my hips, he presses my torso away from him and then forward, again.
I get it. And find a rhythm, rocking and squeezing my muscles around him.
“Like this?”
“Aw, hell yeah. Just like that, mi ninfa. Perfect. Aw, sweetness, I’m yours. Ride me.” His breathing comes in great gasps.
I go a little faster, loving both the feel of his hardness inside me and my clit kneading against his solid pelvic muscles.
So close, on the brink, I rock against him like a wild woman.
“Come for me.” Victor grazes a nipple with his teeth and then, laves it with moisture. That’s all I need to take me over the top. Floating up here over the tree tops, in the moonlight, I explode with waves and waves of divine euphoria. The intensity taking my breath.
“Victoooooor.”
He grips my hips, pulling me hard against him, pumping deep into me a few more times.
“Sweet, sweet, Cherie,” he cries out. Mouth gasping hot air on my throat, his body tenses in orgasm.
Breathing hard, Victor wraps his arms around me. Together we let the ripples flow, holding each other until we float back to earth.
Moments later he kisses my face, neck and shoulders. “We just keep getting better and better together. I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you,” he whispers.
“Mmmm, hmmm,” I mumble at the platitude. Boneless and exhausted, I just lay against his chest, catching my breath.
I shiver a little. Reaching for the blanket, he unfurls it and wraps it around us. He kisses my forehead.
chapter seventeen
CHERIE’S VELVET HOLDS me tight, quivering every now and again. Pussies are stronger than men give them credit for. Her pussy, especially, is one powerful little muscle. I smile, loving the luscious strength of it around my cock, even now when I’m soft.
I revel in the moment, holding her, caressing her back and neck, tangling my hands in her hair. My logical side can go straight to hell, deciding that I don’t give a flying fuck if I just met her.
I’m old enough to know gold when I hold it.
When she came back from the bathroom at A’s, her mood had changed from playful and happy to tense and scared. I hate seeing either of those in her eyes. She doubts me. It’s not just me, but all men. Her father can go straight to fucking hell, too, for hurting her like he has.
Feeling her body go limp in my arms, I look down at her beautiful face. Her eyes are closed, lips slightly parted.
“Cherie?” I whisper.
“Hmmm,” she sighs, snuggling her head tighter under my chin.
Wish this gondola had a stop button. I’d hit it and we’d spend the night up here keeping each other warm just like this.
“Don’t fall asleep on me, sweetness.”
“Why not?” She murmurs.
I chuckle. “Do you want me to carry you half naked back to The Av?”
“Okay.” She sighs, again, wraps her arms around my waist and squeezes.
I laugh out loud. “Wouldn’t that be a sight, you straddling me and me waddling down the street bare assed with my pants around my ankles.”
She giggles softly. “That’d be hysterical.”
I laugh, too, kiss the top of her head. “C’mon, mi ninfa. Let’s get you decent.”
She whimpers when I make her lean back. I kiss the swells of her breasts lightly while I clasp her bra. Sweater down, she’s all set.
“Stand up for me.” Regretfully, I lift her off my cock.
Keeping one arm around her so that she doesn’t fall, I pull my boxers and pants back up. I wipe between her legs with her ripped panties, and then stuff them in my pocket to save as a souvenir. Yeah, I’m a deviant.
I smile at her groggy eyes, sit and haul her back into my lap.
She returns my smile and resumes her position, burrowing deeper into my heart as she does. I let her sleep those last few minutes before we slide into the Telluride station.
Standing, I help her up, wrap the blanket around her. I keep a grasp on her waist as we step out of the cabin and walk to The Av. Even with the blanket, she shivers. She should have dressed warmer. Nights in the mountains can be cool even in summer.
Instead of walking all the way around to the main entrance, we enter the hotel through the employee entrance and take the ID only service elevator to three. Half carrying my sleepy girl, I get her inside my room, strip her and bury her under my covers.
“Warm now?” I ask.
“Yup,” she whispers.
In just the few seconds it takes me to get undressed and slip into bed, she’s fast asleep. I turn off the light. Gathering her to me, with a sigh of my own, I close my eyes and drift off to dreamland, too.
Waking the next morning, I reach for her and find an empty bed — again. Fuck. We
’re going to have to have a talk about this. Staying still, I listen for movement. Nada. I look at the clock. It’s barely after six. What the hell?
I brush my teeth before wandering through to her room. She’s gone, but her shit is still here — and the connecting door is still open. I take a deep breath. Possessive behavior isn’t like me. I try to calm my beast the fuck down.
I notice that the iPod dock is empty and that her running shoes aren’t in the closet.
See. Missing dream girl mystery is solved. She’s probably in the gym.
Showering and dressing quickly, I head downstairs to do my morning tasks early. But first, I duck into security to check the monitors. Shit. Unless she’s in the locker room, she’s not in the gym. If I knew she was okay and safe, it would appease my insane wolf.
It’s a beautiful Colorado morning. She must be running outdoors. I make a mental note to get her cell number so I can make sure she’s okay when my beast freaks the fuck out like this.
Several deep breaths and strong cups of coffee later, I’ve done the morning five-minute check ins with the front desk, housekeeping, the kitchens and conferences.
Next, I settle down to dig into my mile high inbox. I’m half way through the stack when Gabby walks into my office.
“Knock, knock,” she says, flopping down in a chair.
“Hey, just the person I need. Give me Cherie’s cell number.”
“No. If she wants you to have it, she’ll give it to you.”
“I just want to make sure she’s alright.”
“I know for a fact that she’s fine. She and Jesse are running the Deep Creek Trail this morning. I personally watched them leave a little over an hour ago.”
She’s with fucking Jesse!
“Alright.” I put my hands up trying to accept that Cherie’s out there somewhere. I don’t have to know exactly where. If only my wolf would agree and stop twisting my gut.
Gabby smiles. “And why don’t you have her number yet?”
“Just an oversight, I assure you.” I sigh. “Now, what do you want from me?”
