Her breasts tingled, the others cheered Flynn and her on, and she knew that she loved them and that this special relationship they had was worth all the changes and especially leaving Chicago.

“Come for me, baby. Come on now, woman. Come,” Flynn ordered and she counterthrust, kissed his neck, and suckled his skin as he moaned. She came with a rush of cream and an overwhelming sensation of completion.

“Flynn. Oh God, Flynn,” she cried out.

“India,” he countered and thrust into her deeply and came. “I don’t think I can let you leave us ever again, baby. I don’t. I’m sorry if that makes you angry. But you’re not leaving us. You’re not,” he said through clenched teeth then kissed her and hugged her tight.

  “I love you, Flynn.”

Fenton stood in the doorway to India’s office and listened to her negotiate terms for a job. Word had traveled fast that she was relocating to Texas and within a few days people were trying to hire her. He was impressed with her portfolio and even more so with the clientele list she had in such a short period of time. She crossed her legs and leaned back in the chair as she negotiated with some big-time oil guy who wanted her to redesign his home and all the rooms and accessories, including window treatments. All of it would be India’s responsibility. He didn’t know much about the guy or where the location was, just that she would be away from them for four to five days at a time. That meant more traveling and less making love and holding her in their arms in bed. He was losing his fucking mind.

As much as it concerned him that she would need to travel, he tried to make the others understand that at least she was living with them and calling their estate her new home.

The last several months had been hard. She’d left them for a few weeks to wrap things up in Chicago, and being apart from her was more difficult than words could express. But she was here now. Living in the house, sharing their bed, and helping them to be more social with the community and the people of Pearl. In fact, he wondered if she realized that they needed to head to the Inn in time for the Christmas party. A party she basically twisted all their arms to go to. This last trip of hers had kept her away for ten damn days. It wasn’t supposed to be so long. But it was and they were all pissed still.

“You think about it over the Christmas weekend. Get back to me Wednesday with your answer,” she told the client over the phone and moved as if she were going to disconnect the call.

“What’s that? Wonderful. Then we’ll begin the first of the New Year. I’ll be in touch and fax the contracts in a few days. No. Thank you. I’m certain you will be more than satisfied with my work.”

She disconnected the call and exhaled. Turning in her chair, his eyes zeroed in on the red velvet dress and how the deep V accentuated her breasts.

She looked at him and he nearly lost his breath from how beautiful she looked.

  “India?”

“I know. I know. I’m sorry but that man tried to run a hard bargain. But I stood my ground and it will be well worth the risk I’m taking,” she said.

“Are you two ready? We should have left already,” Ford said as he joined them, fixing the sleeve of his shirt that was under the dark suit jacket he wore. His eyes zeroed in on India and his mouth gaped open.

A slow whistle followed as Fisher came in and then Flynn and Grey.

“Do I look okay? No more bruises anywhere?” she asked as she twirled around, and they took in the sight of how the dress dipped low in the back, too.

“Do we really need to go to this or can we stay here and have you instead?” Grey asked, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close. She giggled and gave his arm a slap.

“You five are not going to get out of this. Everyone is going to be there.”

Grey lifted her hand to his lips and kissed the top.

“Remember what you promised us for going to this lame thing tonight,” Fisher said as they all headed out of the room. Fenton couldn’t take his eyes off of India. She looked like a movie star and he felt kind of inadequate and not good enough again.

  India looked over her shoulder.

“Come on, Fenton. I’ve got a surprise for you. Later.”

The Main Street Inn was decorated beautifully. In fact the entire town of Pearl had gone all out and India was impressed. Street poles stood on every corner and were decorated with white lights. There were wreaths on the main signs in town and all the stores coordinated their decorations, colors and all.

The sounds of carolers caroling echoed along the streets as people smiled and listened, children drank hot cocoa, and parents warned their excited overzealous children to behave so they would remain on the good list. She smiled as she absorbed it all and thought about her new life here. She couldn’t wait tell the men about the job proposition she took only thirty minutes from town. One that allowed her to remain close by, it was her only job for the next eight months, and she could go to bed with them every night and wake up with them every morning.

Fenton took her hand and led her out of the Inn as Grey placed her jacket over her shoulders.

“Did you have fun?” Grey asked her.

She smiled. “Of course I did,” she replied.

“Did each of you have fun?” she asked as they all headed down the sidewalk, feeling the chill in the air and taking in the festivities going on around them.

“It wasn’t as terrible as I thought it might be,” Flynn admitted and then they all added their comments. India paused as she took in the sight of the large gazebo in the center of town. It was all lit up with bright white lights and the trim on the edges had some decorative wreaths scattered here and there going around the white spindles of the exterior.

“It’s so beautiful here. I’m so glad I’ll never have to miss a Christmas season in Pearl,” she said and she leaned her head against Fenton’s arm and the jacket he wore.

“We would love that, too, India, but your schedule has been insane. You barely made it here for tonight,” Ford told her and he sounded so sad and disappointed.

She turned to look at them. “I have something to tell you,” she said and saw the uncertainty in their eyes and she knew they really had hated being apart from her just as much as she had hated it.

“That job I was securing tonight before we left? The one you overheard, Fenton?” she reminded.

  He nodded.

“What job? I thought you were trying to liquidate the company,” Grey said to her.

She nodded her head. “I was gone for so long this time, and was stuck in Chicago because of this new contract. I couldn’t pass it up. It’s a lot of money. It’s exactly what I love doing, and the added benefits are just too perfect to ignore.”

  “What is it?” Ford asked.

“Where the fuck is it?” Fisher asked, raising his voice.

“Thirty minutes from here. I sold off the company in Chicago. A good friend mentioned me to a very wealthy businessman close by and I’ve been negotiating a contract. It’s a guarantee that I will be here every morning and every night for the next eight months, and if things go as I plan them to, I will hardly ever have to leave you guys for very long at all.”

“Really, India?” Fenton asked and she nodded her head. He pulled her into his arms.

“How long have you been planning this?” Ford asked, seeming angry.

“Just the last ten days in Chicago. I was miserable without you guys. I admit it. Life just downright sucked and I was so lonely and didn’t feel safe like I do when I’m with all of you. I knew you were angry, all of you were. I want this relationship to work. So I decided that a new life here in Pearl with all of you was more important than any jobs in Chicago. I don’t need the wild night life, the constant events, and keeping up with the who’s who in Chicago’s spotlight. I’m done with the nightclubs, the penthouse I don’t even get to enjoy, and all the damn guys hitting on me, passing me their numbers and calling and texting. I want the five of you and a new li
fe here in Pearl.”

“Wait. Back up. Texting? Guys hitting on you and passing you their numbers?” Fisher asked.

  “India?” Grey stepped forward.

She rolled her eyes. “It’s all behind me. None of them, none of any of it matters but the five of you. Now, will you take me home to our bed and make love to me, please? That new contract begins January first and this is a like a minivacation for the six of us.”

Fenton pulled her into his arms and squeezed her tight.

“You have a thing or two to learn about the order of rank in this family. You’ve been keeping secrets,” he said and squeezed her ass.

“Sounds like men did hit on her while she was in Chicago and she didn’t tell us about them,” Fisher added then rubbed his hands together.

She felt her ass warm just thinking about the spanking these guys were going to give her.

“I guess I do have a lot to learn. You’ll all teach me? Won’t you, Ford?” she asked and pulled her bottom lip between her teeth and gave her best pout face.

“Get her ass in the SUV, Fenton. We’ve got our own contractual agreement to work out with India and I’d say a nice sore ass will be the best way to seal the deal,” Ford said and they all agreed.

India struggled to walk without falling on her face. Her legs shook, her pussy spasmed, and her desire to have her men claim her aroused her beyond belief. She was the happiest and luckiest woman alive. She wouldn’t have one regret about leaving Chicago and the life she had there. Not when she had five American soldiers to protect her, love her, and teach her a thing or two about being part of their team and one of the family. She was gaining so much more, and even three loving dogs who she already adored. It was like an instant family. A home, a place to set roots and finally settle down. Yes, she was starting a new life, a new chapter in her life, and nothing would ever compare to the depth, the connection, and the power of the love she shared with Fenton, Fisher, Grey, Flynn, and Ford.

During a time when she was scared, lost, and unable to care for herself, these five, strong, capable soldiers took it upon themselves to show her compassion and love. They were hired guns, men sent to watch over her and protect her in case of attack, but fate had a different idea, and bringing them together so they could all learn to finally let go and love was not something to take for granted.

Life was a journey, and now she was beginning a new one with five men she would love forever.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

People seem to be more interested in my name than where I get my ideas for my stories from. So I might as well share the story behind my name with all my readers.

My momma was born and raised in New Orleans. At the age of twenty, she met and fell in love with an. Needless to say, the family was a bit taken aback by this as they hoped she would marry a family friend. It was a modern day arranged marriage kind of thing and my momma downright refused.

Being that my momma’s families were descendants of the original English speaking Southerners, they wanted the family blood line to stay pure. They were wealthy and my father’s family was poor.

Despite attempts by my grandpapa to make my father leave and destroy the love between them, my parents married. They recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.

I am one of six children born to my parents. I am a combination of both Irish and a true Southern belle. With a name like Dixie Lynn Dwyer it’s no wonder why people are curious about my name.

Just as my parents had a love story of their own, I grew up intrigued by the lifestyles of others. My imagination as well as my need to stray from the straight and narrow made me into the woman I am today.
