I purposely walked outside to the patio and strolled by his table, shooting him and his companions a flirtatious smile while he glared back. Then I went to the bar and ordered a glass of water. And waited.
It took fifty-three seconds for him to appear beside me.
"Not drinking today?" he said in a low voice, sending delicious tingles all over my body. He settled himself beside me on a stool.
"No fake ID," I said, putting my hand on his inner thigh and caressing the taut muscles there. "You seem tense. Is there anything I can do to help you relax?" I asked, my lips curving up in invitation.
He stared at my stroking hand and swallowed but didn't move away. "I just came over to see how you're doing," he said with a face like stone, not giving anything away.
I scowled and pulled my hand back. "Why? Because you feel bad for the poor little rich girl with all the problems?"
He looked away from me.
I said, "Let's go in the bathroom and fuck."
He exhaled heavily and stood up from the stool.
"No?" I said, feeling ashamed for the words coming out of my mouth, yet completely powerless to stop them. "You know, one of my favorite books has this sizzling chapter where the main characters go to lunch together. And even though it's a first date, they end up fucking in a bathroom stall because they can't wait to get at each other. He just bends her over and gives it to her, hard and fast. I'd like to reenact that scene." I took a hasty sip of water and got my nerve up. "All we'd have to do is pick the biggest stall, and then you flip my dress up and take me from behind. Or I could get on my knees for you?"
He paled and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You don't want me, Nora. I'll fuck you and when I'm done, I'll leave you."
All the air was taken out of me and a searing pain squeezed my heart so hard I thought I might cry out. "Well, if not you, then someone else will do," I said, looking around the bar. "Who should I choose? There's the young guy over there in the corner with the power suit and buzz cut who's been trying to catch my eye since I sat down…although I think I see a wedding band on his finger. He's out, I suppose. Even I have standards. And, there's the fortyish-looking guy sitting across from me. He's been staring at my breasts." I smiled and waved at the gentleman in question, and he waved back, a hopeful look on his face. "Oh yeah, definitely interested."
I opened my purse, pulled out a pen and wrote my name and number on a bar napkin. I pushed it over to Leo. "Do me favor? Take this over to him and tell him what a great girl I am. How good I am. How you know I'm not really bad." I stared at Leo's crotch. "Maybe tell him how hard you get when I talk about fucking."
He pulled me off the stool so quick I didn't know what had happened until I was standing right next to him, both of our chests heaving and tempers flaring. His eyes flashed. "Go back to your table. No fucking today, Nora," he bit out.
I smiled and batted my lashes. "Tomorrow?"
He growled at me and I thrilled at the sound, imagining him doing it while he made love to me. See, here's the thing: this was a whole lot more than just wanting to do bad things. I couldn't blame this on meaningless sex. No, this was all about him. About Leo. He sparked this insatiable, urgent need in me, one that I hadn't quite wrapped my head around yet. I'd never felt more alive than when I was with him, even if we were antagonizing each other.
"Are you high?" he asked me, his eyes boring into mine.
I laughed. "God, no. This is all me," I said bitterly. "I don't need drugs to be a whore, Leo. I can do it all by myself."

The following is an excerpt of Anywhere With You…
a New Adult romance by Kaylee Ryan releasing August 20, 2013.
Liam's POV
I stopped in front of the bathroom door and leaned my forehead against it. I could hear her soft cries. I knocked softly, "Allison, it's Liam can you let me in, sweetheart."
"Just give me a minute, I'll be fine," she choked out.
"Please," I whispered.
I heard her shuffling towards the door and heard the handle move. When she pulled the door open her face was blotchy and her eyes were red and swollen. Without even thinking I stepped inside and shut the door. I pulled her close to me and wrapped her in my arms. I kissed the top of her head and as I did she began to cry harder. I'm not sure how long we stayed like that but during that time I think I lost a piece of myself to Allison Shay Hagan.
She pulled away from me slowly. "Sorry about your shirt," she whispered.
I pulled her chin up with my thumb and forefinger so that she was looking me in the eye, "Are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?"
She shook her head no. "I feel like such a baby. It was years ago, I should be able to talk about it."
"Is there something in particular that upset you?" I asked softly as I pulled her back into my chest as I slowly rubbed my hand up and down her back.
"Not really, it's just…" she sniffled.
"What baby, what happened?
"It's just family dinners. I miss those, Gran is all I have left and her health is failing and I'm here when I should be with her. She is all that I have in this world."
I couldn't find words through the lump in my throat. My only reply was to pull her tighter. As I did she in turn wrapped her arms tighter around my waist. After getting my emotions under control, I pulled away from her and cupped her face in my hands. I wiped her tears away with my thumbs. "You are amazing, you have so many people who love you, Aiden, his parents and Hailey. My parents adore you." I swallowed back my emotions. "You have me," I whispered never tearing my eyes from hers.
"Liam," she murmured.
Her plea sent me over the edge I slowly brought her face to mine as I leaned down. I stared at her lips and then back to her eyes letting her know my intent. I needed to kiss her more than I needed my next breath. I waited, as my intentions set in, I could see when understanding flashed across her face, she licked her lips. I leaned a little closer, closing the space between us. Hesitating, giving her the opportunity to stop me, she didn't.
When my lips touched hers I felt the tremor in my hands that were gently holding her close to me. She must have felt it to because she placed her hands over mine as I continued to caress her cheeks while I kissed her. I felt her open her mouth and I slipped my tongue inside. The taste of her on my tongue caused me to release a deep moan, as I did Allison slowed the kiss and rested her forehead against mine.
"Liam."
"Mmm," I was again at a loss for words. I have kissed hundreds of girls and not once did any of those kisses elicit that kind of reaction from me. I have never in my life felt this kind o
f connection with any other human being.
"What are we doing?"
I kissed her forehead as I pulling back to look her in the eye. "I was kissing the most amazing girl I have ever met." I needed her to know that she was different.
She blushed "I want more Liam. Not that I expect a proposal next week but you've already made it clear that you won't make a commitment, so what are we doing?"
I shook my head and pulled her to my chest. "I don't know baby. All that I can tell you is that kiss was incomparable to anything I have ever felt. You wreck me, you know that?" I asked searching her face for understanding.
"Well, since that was officially my first kiss, I don't have anything to compare it to, but this feeling" she grabbed my hand and laid it over her heart. "This connection that makes my heart race is uncharted waters for me. I wish that I could hold onto it and never let go." She sighed, "But I need all of you Liam, I don't want to share you, and I can't just be a fling. My heart can't take it." She brushed her hands across my cheek. "If you ever decide that you can give me all of you, you know where to find me." She lifted up on her tippy toes and gave me one last chaste kiss on the lips. "Thank you for listening and for the kiss" she said as she turned and walked out of the room.

He slams me against the door, his lips meeting mine urgently. His hands search my body and I wrap my right leg up around his, moving my dress higher up my thighs.
His lips move to my tear-stricken cheeks, where lines of mascara still cover them. He makes his way to my neck and then my ear, lightly nibbling around my earlobe and I know at that moment, I need this.
"Make me forget," I whisper.
"Oh believe me, you will forget your name when I am done with you," he says, grabbing my ass, forcing my legs to wrap around his torso.
He carries me across the room, his lips on my mine, thrusting his tongue deeper in my mouth with every step. My arms are tight against him, keeping him close. The feeling of safety is what I crave.
He throws me on the bed, our eyes never leaving one another. Pulling on my legs, he brings me to the edge of the bed and takes off my heels. His hands inch up my legs until his fingers are wrapped around each side of my black thong. He slides it down my legs, tossing the tiny piece of material onto the floor before returning to push my dress up, exposing me to him. I hear the breath hitch in his throat before he starts unzipping his dress slacks and pushing them down. He shuffles over to the nightstand and seconds later he is on top of me.
"I have been waiting so long to have you," he says, entering me hard and rushed. "Oh…so worth the wait."
I remain quiet, trying to push all thoughts out of my head. When his hands reach my ass, pulling me harder against him, the pleasure increases and everything disappears. He thrusts forcefully into me, whispering how good I feel. He may not have as many moves as others and he talks too much for my liking, but I am enjoying how well-endowed he is.
The feeling builds inside of me; I love this part. All I feel is his touch while he pumps into me. As sweat starts slicking between us, I flip him over, straddling his body. I can no longer wait for him, he is going way too slow and I crave my release. Isn't this what it's all about?
"That's what I'm talking about!" he says and smirks as I slide him back into me. I want to stick a sock in his throat. His talking is making it harder for me to find my relief.
He grabs my hips, trying to move me to his rhythm, but I pick up his hands and place them on my breasts so I can control the speed and rhythm. Five minutes later, my body shudders and I sink down on top of him.
"Fuck, Sadie. You're awesome." He moves to kiss me, but I climb off his body, pulling my dress back down.
I stand up to put my heels back on, but he grabs me from behind, bringing me closer to him. "Stay with me tonight," he says, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Okay," I agree, crawling back on the bed. It is better than being alone. I hate being alone; it only makes me relive my mistakes.
He wraps his arms around me and I can smell the alcohol on his breath as his mouth rests close to my neck. The feeling of safety surrounds me and I drift off to sleep.
The next morning the light wakes me up, streaming into the small room and I find myself alone in a strange bed. I look around, trying to remember where I am and what I did. The dirty clothes overflowing in the hamper and the sports team paraphernalia on the wall tell me that I am most likely in a frat house…again.
I tip toe to get my shoes, hooking them in my hands. I slowly open the door, peering right and left down the hall. I see no one, so I quietly make my way down the stairs. It seems like the front door is a mile away and I can't get through it fast enough. Just as my hand reaches the knob, I hear talking in the next room.
"I wouldn't brag, Soren, I had her last week." A deep voice laughs. "Actually, you might be the last to have her."
"She a great lay though," Jeff Soren says in return.
"I told you she was," the other male agrees. "Ever since…the incident, she has become the college slut."
"I know. It's kind of sad though." Jeff's voice actually sounds concerned. "I wish…"
"Dude. You can't save girls like that, you just enjoy what they give you," the other voice replies back.
I close my eyes, taking a deep breath. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Mascara is stained in long lines down my face and my long honey-colored hair looks like a bird made it their home. My lips are swollen red, and I can't help but think I resemble a hooker on the corner waiting for her next trick.
I turn the knob to the door slowly, hoping Jeff and his buddy don't hear me. I sneak out, walking across the street to my sorority house. I am happy to find that everyone is either still asleep or out. When I crash into my bed, I take the picture out of my drawer that's been hidden away since last year. I clutch it hard against my chest, while sobs escape my mouth. Curling up into the fetal position on my twin bed, I can't help but think how I have disappointed him. I need to change the direction of my life. Make him proud of me.
