Unreserved: The Vault

I smile wide. "Deal."
Dad stands and extends his hand to Rider. "Welcome to the team, son. It's great to have you." Son. Dad really does like Rider. I think this is going to be great. And I've never been happier. My dad and boyfriend get along well. Rider will be working for the company. We get to move to Alaska and have a wonderful environment while working. This is the good life.
RIDER
Four months later
"Fuck, it's gorgeous here," I say to myself, as I take in the view from the deck of our new home.
We moved to Alaska two months ago and got very lucky in finding this house. We wanted something rustic in appearance and settled for a three-story log cabin. The downstairs is a walkout basement. There's a deck in the front of the second story. The third story is where the bedrooms are. It's nothing extravagant, but it's ours. It's a perfect combination for Alicia and me. She wanted something a little luxurious, while I wanted something that would feel like home. This place has a chef's kitchen and updated everything, yet it's not over the top. And the view. Fuck, it's the best damn part. We're nestled into a mountain with trees around us and a long-ass, winding driveway. The deck has a perfect view of the wilderness around us.
Alicia's dad was true to his word and, as soon as we bought the place, he sent a team in to outfit it with state-of-the-art security. I officially started working for him a couple weeks ago. After I left the force at home, I wanted some time with just Alicia as we made this new step in our lives. She was going to sell the home she had before, but her dad told her to keep it. That we can stay there every time we're in town. It's a hell of a big house just to use occasionally, but whatever her dad wants, he tends to get. Then again, so does Alicia. She was fine with that, though. Liked the idea of feeling at home when we visited.
I decided to sell my townhouse. It wasn’t needed anymore, though it was hard to say goodbye to it after all the hard work Dad and I put into it. He’s happy for me and said he’d come up for the holidays. I’m sure Alicia’s dad could give him a lift in his jet when he comes.
Rowe and Hope are ecstatic we're here. They only live fifteen minutes from us, but Rowe said he could also take a snowmobile here in the winter. It makes me want to get a few toys myself. I think I'm going to love it here. I haven't been in touch with the local police department yet, but it's on my list of things to do this week.
The sliding door opens, and Alicia comes up to wrap her arms around my waist from behind. "Still happy we moved here?"
"Of course. Are you?"
"I love it."
Reaching back, I pull her around until she's pinned between the railing and me, her eyes on mine. I bend to place a kiss on her neck. There's no one around us. No houses next door who can see what we're about to do.
She moans when I reach up and cup her breast. I love the feel of her. Every part of her is perfection.
"You get me so wound up," she says. "Make love to me. Right here."
"My pleasure."
I don't strip off all her clothes. It's starting to get chilly, and I wouldn't want her cold, but I make quick work of ridding her of everything from the waist down and drop my jeans and underwear to my knees. I'm inside of her in seconds.
This...this is where I'm meant to be. With the love of my life. Spending every day cherishing her. Appreciating her. Making sure she knows how much I love her. I can't wait to spend the rest of my days making memories with her because there's no one else I'd rather be with.
