A Dangerous Love 5: No Love Lost

by J Peach

“What you mean why not? One, I just broke up with your best friend not even a week ago and on top of that you have a girlfriend. That’s why not,” I explained and Sam let out a groan.

“Peaches, it’s no different from what we were doing before. You’re not with Blaze no more, so why not?” He questioned again.

This mothafucka was crazy and I was not about to get into that with him. Reaching in the front seat, I grabbed my stuff then got out the truck.

  “Peaches—”

“No, don’t Peaches me. The difference from then to now is that I didn’t know you had a Brandy. Sam, you have a girlfriend. I was just a girlfriend in the same boat as she is, so I know how she feels. It’s a big difference which is one of the reasons why I’m not going there with you. Secondly, your best friend, Blaze, is fuckin’ crazy! And would, without a doubt, beat the hell out of the both of us!” I told him truthfully.

Once upon a time, I wouldn’t have cared about a guy having a girlfriend because it was never anything serious, just head. But being someone’s girlfriend and to actually have to feel what they felt brought a whole new meaning to the things I’d done and who I did them with.

“You can either take me back to the shop or I’ll walk, it doesn’t matter to me.” My ass would kick those heels off with no problem and start walking.

“I’m not with Brandy no more. We broke up the day y’all were at Bianca’s house. I haven’t been with her since.” Sam looked sincere as he said that, but so did Blaze when he told me he wasn’t a cheater.

“It doesn’t matter, I was just with your best friend. I’m not some toy you can play with when you find it convenient. What we had died the moment I started messing with Blaze.” My index finger poked into his chest with every word I said. “Forget it, I’ll walk. You know what? It’s crazy I haven’t seen you since I’ve moved into my house. But now, out of nowhere, you think it’s okay to pick up where we left off. You’re no different from King and Blaze. ” Shaking my head, I started backing away from him.

“I’m nothing like them! I have never cheated on Brandy since we’ve been together. I work too damn much to have time to cheat and if I’m not working, I’m too busy fixing or setting shit up. Doing other shit with Blaze, even King sometimes. So besides looking, I’ve never cheated until I met you. Have you ever wondered why I stopped coming around?” he asked.

Shaking my head, I turned away from him, about to start walking.

I don’t have time for this.

“Hold the fuck up, damn,” he snapped, grabbing my forearm and yanking me back towards him. I jerked away from him and Sam let me go as he held his hands up. “You don’t think I know how fuck’d up this is? To actually like you? You’re Blaze’s girl. I respected that, so I backed the fuck off and stayed away from you. I been with Brandy since I was fifteen, ain’t never thought about another chick, she was it for me. Then I met you. I ain’t felt like this since I first met Brandy fifteen years ago. This whole thing is fuck’d up, Peaches, I know that. But I can’t keep pretending.” Again, that sincere look showed on his frustrated face.

From the beginning, I liked Sam. I wasn’t gon’ lie. It was nothing serious, but I liked him none the less. There was chemistry between us, a sexual, hate, friend thing we always had since we met. So there was no denying we had something and no telling if we’d have kept things going it would’ve been more.

“Sam, I don’t know what to say. I liked you, but this can’t happen. Maybe you’re not with Brandy, I don’t know, but I just broke up with Blaze—”

“I know that, Peaches, but you wasn’t just thinking that a few minutes ago. And don’t stand here giving me that I like you bullshit when you know if I hadn’t stepped back this would’ve been more. So stop that lie you’re trying to tell the both of us,” he said while taking my purse and tossing it in the truck. “If you don’t want to do this because you don’t, then just say that,” he said, roughly pulling me into him.

My breath caught in my throat as his fingers dug into my lower back. “Sam—” A small grunt sounded in the back of my throat as his hand tightly tangled into my hair, yanking my head back.

Sam’s nose ran along my jawline down to my neck, kissing at the skin and pulling it into his mouth.

I didn’t know what to do. I liked Sam, he was cool, but I loved Blaze.

They’re best friends, this is wrong.

But I wanted to step out and piss Blaze off, hurt him the way he’d done me.

“Sam, I can’t do this. I want to believe you, but I just can’t.” Even saying that didn’t stop me from standing on my tip toes and kissing him.

That selfish, deceitful part of me had already planted its wicked seed into my head, in my body.

Pulling back, I licked my lips before wiping the lipstick off of his mouth. “Sam, I like you, I like what we had. It was you before Blaze, but he pursued me, he got me and I fell hard. Blaze seemed so sincere about it that I believed him, even convinced myself I felt it… Only to find out he can’t keep his dick in his pants. You look so sincere about this that I want to believe you too, but I don’t want to be nobody else’s fool. For all I know, you’re still with ol’ girl.” Licking my lips, I shook my head. “And when I start dating again, I already have a guy in mind,” I lied.

Laughing, Sam cut me off. “Who? That square ass dude from the shop?” He asked, making me roll my eyes.

“And if it is, then what?”

“He’s a fuckin’ square, Peaches, and he’s young as hell. What are you going to do with him? Be for real, now,” he stated factually. Sam folded his arms and stared at me, waiting on my reply.

“First off, he’s not young, we’re the same age. He’s hella sweet, has a legal job, whether it’s at a car shop or Wal-Mart it’s legal. Plus, he’s cute, funny, and smart. He can be a square all day long, it’s not going to change the good qualities I see and like about him.” Sean wasn’t the guy I had in mind. Hell, I didn’t have a guy in mind, but Sam didn’t need to know that.

“Peaches, shut up. You know damn well you’re not going for that little ass boy. I can tell just from looking at him, he’s not going to be able to handle you,” Sam said and I jumped at him. When he didn’t flinch, I muffed him.

“Then that’s a good thing because I don’t need to be handled—” Once again my breath got stuck in my throat as I was pinned against the truck.

Sam took hold of my wrists, binding them in his large hands and held them above my head as he forced his knee between my legs.

“But you wanna be, you don’t want it easy. Your little boy don’t know shit about that, he wouldn’t know how to handle you.” The hand holding my wrists tightened painfully as his other hand worked at my jeans. Once they were undone, his hand slipped into the front of my pants. “Then again, does Blaze? Was he rough enough for you? Did he add just a little pain?”

“Blaze knew what he was doing, no coaching needed— Ah, Sam, stop.” I grunted out as his nails dug into my right thigh.

“Why? Should I go little harder? Dig a little deeper?” And he did just that, causing my body to go slightly limp against the truck as my breathing picked up. Locking eyes with me, Sam smiled this sexy, seductive smile.

  I’m going to kill him.

Running his tongue over his smiley lips, he removed his hand from my jeans, zipped and buttoned them up. “You right, I don’t know what you like, want, or need,” he said, letting my wrists go. Once he did, I swung on him, but he quickly moved back. “Gon’ now, Peaches, damn. I said you was right.” He thought it was funny when it wasn’t.

“You didn’t prove anything.” I snapped at him.

Laughing, Sam moved away from me. “You right, sweetheart, I don’t know shit. Now come on so I can drop you off. It wouldn’t have worked. You think you know everything.” Turning back towards the truck, I started walking. ”Sam, let me go.”

“I was just playing with you even though I proved a point. Peaches, little dude isn’t for you and you know th
at,” he mumbled as his head went into the side of my neck, biting at the skin.

My hand gripped the back of his head and I grabbed a handful of his locs tightly. Lazily, my head tilted to the side, giving him better access.

Turning around in his hold, I gripped the front of his shirt, stood on my tip toes, lightly brushing my lips against his.

“I thought you didn’t wanna do this,” Sam mumbled as he pushed his mouth against mine.

Licking my lips, my tongue brushed against his bottom lip. “I don’t.”

He’s Blaze’s best friend, I’m a hoe, but so what. Fuck Blaze. He didn’t think about me every time he went out with that bitch. We’re grown, I’m single. And messing with Sam would most definitely hurt Blaze, piss him off.

Sam didn’t seem to care, but if he was still with Brandy that would really mess with me.

“Stop, stop over thinking it,” Sam said, pulling me from my thoughts.

“I can’t help it. You all are some habitual liars and I don’t know what to believe. How do I know you’re truly not with Brandy anymore?”

“Peaches, I said you don’t have to believe me, it’s up to you. I’m not with Brandy no more, haven’t been since the last time I saw you. I don’t know what you want me to do so you can believe me. All I got is my word, which is obviously not enough for you. I get you have your reasons. I’ll tell you like this, take your time and think on it. When your mind is made up, we’ll go from there, alright?” he asked.

“Okay, I’ll sleep on it. During that time, stop following me. You know that’s against the law, right? I mean, with you being a lawyer and all, you should know that,” I told him.

“I wasn’t following you. See, this why I don’t like being around you. You have a nigga all in his feelings. Got me feeling like a bitch,” he admitted with a laugh. Sam, opened the back door. “Get in.”

“Why can’t I ride in the front?” My arms crossed over my chest.

“Get the fuck in the truck, please.” He pushed me towards the back doors.

“I really don’t like you, Sam,” I climbed in the back seat. “Stop, you stupid son of a bitch,” I snapped as he slapped me hard on the ass.

“You know you cuss too much, right? That’s unattractive on a woman,” he replied, laughing as he got in behind me.

“I thought we were about to leave.” He ignored me as he let the TV’s down, then reached in the back and grabbed a purple blanket. I started laughing. “You stole my blanket?”

“No, I bought this a long time ago. After that one time you sent me to your trunk in the middle of the movie to get a damn blanket, I went out and bought you one for here. Just in case, you know,” he explained and I just stared at him. He bought me a blanket for his truck? That was… “What?” he asked.

“You bought me a blanket, that’s sweet and thoughtful,” I said.

“It’s just a blanket, nothing serious.” He shrugged it off.

But it was to me. I always thought the little things someone did showed how much they actually paid attention. I counted one time I’d laid back in Sam’s truck to watch a movie, curled up in a blanket.

I always wrapped myself in a blanket whenever I watched a movie because nine times out of ten I was bound to fall asleep. Besides King, no one else ever thought about it.

That little action may not have seemed like much to him, but it did to me.

“It’s just thoughtful, is all. So, what we watching?” I asked, leaning into his side.

“Chucky. Are you going to share your blanket?” he asked.

“Come on.” I held the blanket opened for him. Sam turned toward me, then began to remove my shoes.

He stared at my spiked heels. “They make some crazy shit for crazy mothafuckas. You would have some shit like this, spiked shoes? Hell n’all,” Sam said, putting my shoes in the front seat. “And you like to stomp too, fuck that.” His head shook from one side to the other, his facial expression serious.

Laughing, I hit him. “Shut up. I would not stomp nobody in those, they’re too cute.” Looking at me, he raised a brow and I rolled my eyes laughing. “Shut up and lay down.”

With a chuckle to himself, he leaned into me, laying his head on my chest as he made himself comfortable.

We were wrong on so many levels, but my selfishness wouldn’t allow me to care at that moment for the simple fact that it was comforting.

Sam’s fingers slowly ran up and down my leg, drawing invisible circles as they did.

My hands entwined and I placed them on his chest as my head laid on top of his, letting out a contented sigh.

I wasn’t going to think about what I was doing. I wasn’t going to feel guilty for it, whatever this was, for the simple fact that it was now comforting to me. It was the first time within those past six days Blaze hadn’t continuously popped into my head and had me wondering what he was doing and who he was doing it with.

Wondering if he really cared, just that alone had tears coming to my eyes whenever I was by myself. That’s all I did and I was tired of looking in the mirror to red, puffy eyes when he probably hadn’t shed one tear.

So I was going to revel in this comfort Sam gave me.

Every bit of it with no regrets.

  Chapter 6

  Peaches

The constant ringing of a phone woke me up. Blinking a few times to clear my vision, I didn’t move as a yawn left my mouth. I stayed cuddled against the warm body underneath me. My left hand moved up the bare stomach to its warm chest. I rolled on my side, crossing my left leg over his and my arm around his waist. Forgetting about the phone ringing, I got even more comfortable.

He grabbed a handful of my ass and pulled me up his body. The hand and arm tightened, pulling me more into him before giving my booty a squeeze.

Looking up at Sam, I stared at his sleeping face. I took him in, my eyes roaming over his face, taking in his slightly wide but flat nose, his thick eye brows, smooth cocoa brown skin and his pencil mustache that surrounded his nice, full set of brown lips. My fingers slowly traced over his right eye to the thin hair above his top lip before tracing up the side of his face.

Stretching my neck up, my lips pressed against his bottom. I went to pull back, but Sam caught my top lip between his teeth, pulling it into his mouth. His hand tangled into my hair and my lips parted for him, accepting his tongue.

Catching his tongue between my teeth, I sucked it into my mouth. Pulling back, I pecked his lips once then twice.

Panting, Sam pulled my head back and his lips went to my neck, placing open mouth kisses and bites on it before sucking on the skin. No doubt leaving a mark, but I couldn’t seem to care.

Grabbing the hem of my shirt, he pulled it off then made quick work unhooking my bra. He took hold of my breast in each hand, squeezing them together. His tongue flicked over my right nipple, bringing it into his mouth, giving it a hard suck and then doing the same to the other before he blew on both. His tongue rolled around my left nipple as he sucked on the areola. Giving it another suck, he moved to my right, giving it the same treatment.

My hand went to the back of his head, holding him to my breast. Licking from one nipple to the other before running his tongue to the top of my breast, Sam began sucking hard on the skin.

All the while that fuckin’ phone kept ringing. But we continued to ignore it.

Pushing him back, I sat up and tugged at his shirt until it came off. My hips rolled and grinded on his dick. I kissed, licked, and sucked on the spot behind his ear, causing his hands to tighten on my waist, and his nails to dig almost painfully into my skin.

That little pain had me moaning against his neck and sucking harder. Pushing me back on the seat he unbuttoned my jeans. Raising my hips, he pulled them off. Looking me over, he leaned forward, kissing the center of my breast, then continued to trail kisses down my stomach to my pelvis. Grabbing the straps to my thong and raising my legs, he pulled them off.

Licking his lips, Sam’s eyes locked with mine.

>   “Let me see her,” Sam said, once again licking his lips, looking sexy as ever.

  God, what am I doing?

Taking a hold of my left knee, he pressed it down until my thigh was hanging from the seat and I was open for him. Leaning down, his nose rubbed against my mound as his hands massaged my inner thighs.

My hips rose, urging him on. Sam looked at me as I stared down at him.

Smiling, he ran his tongue through my slit, parting my lips. My toes curled and my hips bucked instinctively. Already knowing what to expect, it seemed as if my body had suddenly became desperate for his mouth to be on me.

Spreading my lips, he licked and sucked on my labia before licking down to my opening and coming up to my clit. He pulled the small pearl into his mouth and he started suckling.

My hands tangled in his long locs and I held him to me as I grinded my pussy against his mouth.

Pulling back, Sam stuck two fingers in his mouth, pulled them out and brought them to my opening. He pushed his long thick fingers into my throbbing sex, pressing down.

Instead of moving his fingers in and out, he pressed down on my pelvic and began massaging my inner muscles, moving his fingers along my side and upper walls as his mouth came back to my clit, sucking.

  I felt pleasure immediately.

“Ooh, fuck! Ah, ah, ah!” Gripping his hair tighter, my hips rose as he continued to suck on my clit and massage my inner muscles.

Sam was amazing at eating pussy, the nigga mastered the shit and I always found myself trying to push away from him, but he never let me go. He would literally torture me until my pussy was sensitive to the point where every little movement had me shaking. But I couldn’t complain, the way his fingers pushed against my muscles adding the right amount of pressure made it feel like we were actually having sex. Amazing is what it was.

My muscle began to tighten around his fingers, my ass squeezed together, causing my body to shake. I tried pushing Sam away by pulling him by his hair, but that only made him suck harder on my clit as his fingers turned up. Grabbing my pubic bone, he moved his fingers up and down.
