“No please Ethan don’t stop.” She begged.

Ethan chuckled. “I’m not finished with you babe. But I don’t want you to come just yet.”

He moved so that he was near the head of the bed. He knelt onto it next to her head. Ethan reached down and stocked his hardened cock. His stormy eyes locked with Krista’s and conveyed what he wanted. Krista nodded and licked her lips. She turned her head slightly and her tongue flicked out to taste him.

Ethan groaned and his head fell back. He moaned her name when her hot, wet mouth enclosed around his shaft. Her tongue twirling and sliding over him, around him. God her mouth felt so good. His eyes drifted down and watched as his woman took him in her mouth.

“Yes baby. Take my cock deep. Fuck, your mouth feels so good on my cock.” He growled.

Krista’s eyes met his as she swallowed him deeper and sucked him harder. Ethan’s hips began rocking. He sank deeper and his thrusts became a little harder. Yet Krista simple moaned out and opened wider for him, wanting it. He slipped a hand into her hair, holding her steady as he thrust into her. He enjoyed her mouth a few more moments before he pulled out.

Ethan moved off the bed and quickly untied her ankles. He massaged them gently for a few moments, then stalked toward the head of the bed. Standing near the headboard now he looked down at his woman.

“Fuck you are so hot Krista. Now, I’m going to untie your wrists. I want you to roll onto your stomach. You will keep your upper body down but lift up on your knees. You understand?”

  “Yes Sir.”

He untied her left wrist first. Like he did with her ankles, he gently massaged it. Once satisfied any rawness was massaged away he moved to her right side and repeated the process again. He watched as she obeyed his instructions. Krista was a thing of beauty. Her upper body laying against the sheets while that delectable ass of hers was lifted for him. Ethan climbed back on the bed and knelt behind her.

“Reach up and grab hold of the headboard.” Krista reached out and gripped the base. “You take orders very well. Perhaps I should reward you for being such a good girl. Would my girl like that?”

“Yes Sir.” She sighed as she felt his strong callused hands sliding up her back to her shoulders.

Ethan said nothing. A second later both cried out when he slid deep inside of her. Krista clutched the wood and struggled to stay still, which was hard as she felt him throbbing inside her and stretching her so deliciously.

“God damn your so wet and tight around me Krista.”

“Ethan I’m so close. Please, please let me come.”

He growled as she begged for her release. He slowly began to withdraw. He saw her knuckles were white with how hard she clutched the headboard. He knew she was on the verge of orgasm. He pulled nearly all the way out and just paused, the head of his erection the only thing inside of her.

“You need to come bad don’t you baby?”

  “Yes Sir please!”

  “Then come Krista. Now!”

As he gave her the order he plowed back inside of her. She half screamed half moaned as she came hard. Ethan bit his lip as he fought the urge to come with her. This first one was for her, but he wanted another. Gripping her shoulders for leverage, Ethan began thrusting. He filled her over and over, driving her toward yet another orgasm. His blood roaring in his ears as he heard his Krista pleading for more. Harder. Deeper.

“I hope your there again Krista, I can’t hold back.”

  “I’m there! Fuck I’m there!”

With one last deep, hard thrust Ethan erupted, yelling Krista’s name. Her slick walls clamped down on him as he emptied into her, Krista screaming her pleasure as she came with him. As the last of his release emptied into her, Ethan sagged forward, blanketing her back. His arms slid around her middle as he rolled onto his side, bringing her with him. As she caught her breath, he peppered her shoulders and neck with soft kisses.

  "Thank you Ethan." She breathed.

"Oh it was definitely my pleasure baby." He chuckled.

Laughing she elbowed him then rolled over to face him. "Jerk. See if you get any more of my amazing pussy or my hot mouth."

"Oh it's like that now is it?" He grinned.

"I wish it was like that. Hell, I think you've ruined me for all other men."

  "Good. Cause you're mine."

  Her eyes widened. "What?"

Ethan swiftly moved over her, his hands caging her head. "I love you Krista. No, I mean it. I do love you. I think I started falling for you fourteen years ago. All these years apart was for a reason. To make me a better man. A man worthy of you."

"Oh Ethan." She whispered reaching up and stroking his cheek. "I love you too."

Ethan kissed her tenderly. When her arms enveloped him, pulling him to her once more, he went on to show her how much he loved her all over again. This time slow and tenderly.

  Chapter 16

Ethan pulled up at the airport and climbed out of his truck. He was slightly surprised to see his guys waiting on the tarmac. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Krista's our friend too. Plus, if this asshole shows up in New York, you could use a hand." Grant answered.

"Thank you." Ethan nodded, feeling gratitude wash over him at the loyalty of his men.

The five men turned as a green suburban pulled up next to Ethan's truck. They watched as Krista, her parents and Jerry's parents climbed out. Ethan met the group half-way. "My guys thought they'd tag along to say goodbye to Jerry."

"T... thank you Mr. Blackstone." Tessa smiled tearfully.

"It's our pleasure Mrs. Summerland." Ethan nodded.

He looped his arm with Krista's and led them toward the jet. Introductions were made and Tessa hugged each of Ethan's guys in thanks. Gage informed them that Jerry's body was loaded and they were ready to go. One by one everyone boarded and once they were all seated, the pilot taxied out onto the runway. Within moments, they were airborne and heading for New York.

"Tessa and I can never repay you men for this." Carl said.

"Mr. Summerland, it's our pleasure to help. Plus, over the weeks we all got a brief chance to get to know your son. He was a good man and he cared about Krista. That makes him a friend of Blackout." Tony stated.

"Jerry talked about meeting all of you when you took on Krista's case. He said that if anyone could find this man it would be you men. After hearing what Nick and Krista have told us about what you do I believe he's right. I know you men will help get justice for Jerry." Carl replied holding his wife.

Krista undid her seat belt and moved toward the back of the jet. She closed her eyes to hold back her tears. However, it didn't stop the shudders that suddenly washed over her. Moments later she felt the arms of her mother slip around her. Krista turned and hugged her.

"Sshh. Oh honey it's okay." Debbie whispered, easing them both into the sofa.

  "I’m okay mama." Krista whispered.

Debbie stroked her daughter’s long hair. "Baby, you have been so strong through this whole thing. It's okay to break."

"I don't break." Krista argued, her voice wavering only slightly.

"Krista, listen to me. You have always been the strongest of all of us. You carry the weight of this family, but that's not your job baby. That's what your dad and I are for. You have nothing to feel ashamed of by crying. Jerry was your best friend and you two loved each other. You can't keep holding your feelings in like this. It isn't healthy."

Krista lifted her head. "I don't know how to be any other way mama. And I’m not holding my feelings in. I’ve cried enough over what this asshole did."

Debbie smiled and cupped her cheek. "You aren't alone. I know you won't share your burden with your Dad and I, that's not your way. But you do have a wonderful man sitting a few feet away that loves you. And I can tell you love him. If you won't share with anyone else, share with Ethan."

Krista let out a slow breath. She knew her mom was right. She turned her head and her eyes met Ethan’s. She had lied to her mother,
she was keeping her feelings in. “You’re right mama, but how?”

Debbie chuckled. "Simple. Talk to the man. Tell him your fears, your thoughts. How do you think I got your dad to share the weight of this family? Hmm?" Krista's eyebrows rose. "Baby, you may look like me, but you have your father's soul. You both try to take on the weight of everything. Like your dad, it's time you share that."

Krista nodded in understanding and shifted so that her head was now in her mom's lap. Debbie began slowly stroking Krista's head. From her forehead, over the crown of her head, to her shoulders. Then started the process all over again. As she did, she softly began singing Krista's favorite lullaby. Within minutes she felt her daughter's breathing level. A look down showed that she was asleep. Debbie looked over as Nick knelt beside them.

"Nicky, she's so much like you."

Nick gave his wife a soft smile and stroked Krista's cheek. "I know, but she’s like you too Deb. How is she?"

"She's hurting. She's trying to carry this weight alone."

"Yeah, but that won't last long I think. Judging by the look on Ethan's face when you walked over here. I think once we land in New York and get settled he's going to have a few words with her."

"Good. He loves her. More now than when they were kids."

"Yep. He loves her like I love you."

Debbie leaned over and kissed him. "And she loves him as I love you Nicky."

  ***

Ethan studied the room he and Krista would be sharing for the next few days. When they landed in New York they had been informed by Tessa and Carl that he and the rest of Blackout were staying in their home. Of course Ethan started arguing against intruding, but he quickly found it was a lost cause.

"Hey boss." Gage said, walking into the room. He looked around let out a low whistle. “Nice digs.”

"The perimeter secure?" Ethan asked shaking his head in amusement.

"Yep. I think I got a bit of wood when Carl showed me their security system. Tony did too I think. They have a more sophisticated set up than Blackout. He said he'd put me in touch with his guy." Gage grinned.

Ethan couldn't help but laugh. "Shouldn't be surprised. Know what he did before retiring?" Gage shook his head. "Carl Summerland was in charge of security at Langley."

Gage let out a whistle. "Sweet. No wonder the few times Jerry and I talked security he knew what I meant."

"Yeah. Carl said he had offered to hook Krista up with his security but she turned him down. Something about not fully trusting spooks." Ethan chuckled.

Gage cracked a smile. "Can't blame her there. Anyway, me and the guys are all settled in. We're fixing to head out to the funeral home, then the church. We're not taking any chances in case this asshole followed us here."

"Keep me posted. Carl and Tessa are upstairs resting and Nick was taking Debbie out for a walk. I'm going to check on Krista." Ethan nodded.

Gage gave a two fingered salute and left the room. Ethan sighed. He was dreading the conversation he was going to have with Krista. He had seen her brave façade beginning to crack on the jet and it tore his heart in two. Nick had told him after he retook his seat that Krista would need him. Yet Ethan knew how Krista was. She had always tried to carry so much on her shoulders. Well, his woman needed to know that she was no longer going to carry that weight alone.

He finished putting his things away then headed downstairs to find her. The Summerland home was a beautiful three story home in the suburbs of Manhattan. Carl had told them on the drive over that he didn't want to raise a family in the city. He had designed and built the home for Tessa just before Jerry was born. Though Carl had spent most of his time at Langley he had told Ethan he had wanted his family secure while he was gone during the week.

He found Krista sitting on the front porch looking through what looked like a photo album. He said nothing as he sat beside her and glanced down. He smiled as he saw a picture of Krista, Jerry, and Krista's brothers at what looked like a beach.

"This was taken in Miami. We went down there for spring break the year Danny turned twenty-one." She explained.

"Looks like you guys had fun." He replied.

"It was a great time. Me and Jerry were juniors at Hamilton, Jax had just joined that firm in Dallas, Hayden had just passed the bar, and Danny had just been selected for his first undercover assignment. He went on it about three days after we got back."

  "Krista, we need to talk."

She sighed and closed the album. "I figured that after what happened on the plane."

"Baby, I don't like that you're trying to be strong and not let me in."

"Ethan, I'm not trying to keep you out..."

"I know you're not, but you are. Yes, you cried in front of me and hell even in front of Lance, but you’re still holding back. Look, all your life I've watched you carry the burden of pain in your family, just like Nick does. When your Uncle Kenny died you were there making sure your brothers, you parents and the rest of your family were okay. That's what you do. You look out for everyone else but you."

"I can't just turn it off."

"I'm not asking you to. Krista, what I'm trying to say is that I'm here. I'll help you carry this. Your pain is my pain. You hear me? We're a team now Krista. I don't want you to feel you can't talk to me."

Krista sat the album on her lap to the side then scrambled into his lap. Her arms wrapped around him and she buried her face in his neck. Ethan just breathed her in as he held her and just whispered to her. Telling her he was there, that he loved her and to let him in.

"I'm scared Ethan. Scared I won't be able to handle this. Handle Jerry being gone. I feel lost."

"Oh Krista. You're not alone. I won't let you get lost baby. I'll help guide you home every time. I promise. You can and will get through this. If you break, I'll be right there to catch the pieces and together we'll put them back together."

  "Ethan."

"Sshh. I love you Krista. Just hold on to me honey. I'm here."

  ***

Nick sat in the Summerland living room nursing a glass of scotch. He looked up at the sound of footsteps and found Ethan. "How's Krista?"

"I think she'll sleep through the night tonight." Ethan answered sitting in the chair across from Nick. "Christ Nick, she's trying not to fall apart."

"Yeah, she gets that from me I'm afraid." Nick nodded.

"She finally let me in this afternoon."

"Thank god." Nick breathed, his shoulders sagging in relief. "Son, she's going to need you in the coming days. Oh I know she'll want me and her mother, but it's YOU that will get her through this."

  "Nick..."

"No, I want you to listen to me. Ethan, you have always understood her and she you. Oh you may have been Jax and Hayden's best friend, but it was Krista that you always gravitated to. You and her are a perfect match. Just as me and Deb and your own folks are."

"I know that. Now. I don’t think I did back then." Ethan stated.

Nick chuckled. “Oh I think a part of you did.”

Ethan nodded with a smile. "Maybe I did."

The two men sat in silence for several minutes before Nick spoke again. "Did you know that your dad and I knew each other when we were kids?"

"What? No, I didn't. I thought you met when we moved to Austin." Ethan answered in slight surprise.

Nick laughed. "Figures Dale wouldn't have told you. He and I both grew up in Tyler. You know he was on the basketball team. I was on the track team. Anyway, our families lived two houses from each other. He and I go way back. I went to Northwestern, then on to OCS school. Your old man joined the army right out of high school. We had lost touch for a few years. Hell me and Deb had been in Austin about six months when I bumped into him at the bank.

"Deb had just had Hayden and your mom had just had you. Ethan, I've always believed in fate. I knew you and Krista were meant to be from the moment you and she became friends. Oh you pretended to be annoyed when she tagged along with you boys, but I saw even then there was that bond between
you."

"You know, for a while there I thought you didn’t approve of me being with Krista?"

Nick frowned. "Why did you feel that way?"

"Well, because of the night I told Krista and the rest of you I was joining the Marines. You had this look that, well looked like disapproval or something."
