  “What’s wrong?”

  “You’re huge.”

He laughed. “The better to please you with.” He rolled on his back, clearly offering his body for her inspection.

She got on her knees. “I don’t know where to begin.”

“How about if you start with the best part?”

  “I think that’s a trick question.”

She wanted to kiss him, run her fingers over his chest and abs, and she absolutely wanted to suck on his very big cock. Decisions, decisions.

Since she’d already done two of the three, she lowered her mouth to below his waist and traced a line down his length with her tongue. He groaned. Cupping his balls with one hand, she lifted the shaft with the other. Pre-cum glistened on the tip and she licked it off. “Yum.”

He threaded his fingers through her hair and massaged her scalp. She opened her mouth and drew him in.

He jerked. “You are a witch.”

His tone was light, but she could tell he was holding on to his control by a thread. She ran her hand up and down his dick, loving the power, knowing at any moment, he might lose it. Her tongue swirled around his length, and the vein in the middle pulsed.

Believing he was about to explode, she pulled away.

“Smart.” He pulled his pants from the floor and extracted a condom.

She was about to say she wanted to put it on him, but before she could, he’d already pulled it out and threaded it over his cock.

“I’m sorry to be in such a hurry, but I want you too much. I promise the next time, I’ll spend hours savoring your delectable body.”

She couldn’t last much longer either. Good thing he hadn’t taken more time. She would have climaxed ten times before he entered. He sat up and flipped her over. Lifting her hips, he positioned her on her hands and knees. With his fingers rubbing her nipples, he nudged open her pussy and slowly eased in. Her breath caught.

“You are my dream come true.” With that, he drove in farther.

She clenched her pussy walls to feel all of him, despite the fact he’d already stretched her to the max. He pressed her swollen, hard nipples between his thumb and forefinger, driving her closer to the edge. She stuck out her chest, thrilled at how his hands tortured her.

When he’d thoroughly loved each breast, he lowered one hand and rubbed her stomach with sure strokes. The other lifted the hair from her back as he kissed her neck. “You smell so good.”

She wanted him to stroke his cock faster, but he seemed to need to go slow. Tilting her hips backward to take in more of him, she dropped her head to expose her neck to his kisses.

Every touch and every breath catapulted her to new heights. Filled with an intense carnal need, she shoved backward again until his cock impaled her. His breath caught. Just as the waves of ecstasy washed over her, slamming her with a climax, his warm cum shot out. For the next ten seconds, his cock continued to pulse.

His pants and groans told her the experience had been as heady for him as it had been for her. He remained there for a while until his cock settled down. Finally, he pulled out and dropped back onto the bed.

“That, my darlin’, was something for the record books.”

He stripped off the condom, got up, and deposited it into the trash. When he returned, he had a warm cloth to clean her.

She smiled. “I have no words to describe that experience.”

“I promise I’ll take my time next time.”

She laughed. “I wanted you to hurry as much as you needed to.”

He gathered her in his arms and kissed her. “We make a good pair.”

  “We do indeed.”

“Can you imagine what it would be like to have two of us loving you?”

He wasn’t going to let that idea quit. “I can’t imagine it being better than this.”

  “Oh, you’d be surprised.”

  * * * *

Brittany didn’t think either of them got much rest that night. Sparks had fallen asleep for about an hour, woke up, and began playing with her fingers, then with her breasts, and finally licked her pussy. Hormones surging, she’d begged him to make love to her again. On the second go-around, he took his time. Now she was sore, but definitely happy.

As she crawled out of bed, Sparks was singing in the shower. She was a little embarrassed he had to shower in that tub. Just as soon as she found a good contractor, she was going to have a master bath upgrade. She wanted two showerheads in an extra large shower.

While the tub shower was small, she needed to rinse off their lovemaking. She pulled back the curtain and stepped behind him.

“Well, hello there, darlin’.” He turned around.

She could so get used to that smile every morning. “Good morning to you.”

He kissed her then dragged a soapy hand over her breasts and down her stomach. “I wish I had time to clean and fillet you.”

  “Ew.”

He ran a palm down her cheek and kissed her hard. When he pulled her close, his cock hardened. She wasn’t sure she could handle any more sex for a while. “Showering with you might have been a mistake.”

“Loving you is never a mistake,” he said as he slipped a finger into her now-wet pussy.

That’s not what she’d said. “Don’t you have to be at work?” He said one of them had to work on the weekends.

“Yes, but if anything really important occurs, someone will page me.”

Good thing it was her day off. She wanted to touch him, but she figured she could do him a service at the same time. “Turn around.”

With a handful of soap, she washed his back and shoulders. Every muscle rippled as she ran her hands over him.

“You’re like my own personal naked valet. I could get used to this.”

  “Don’t count on it, cowboy.”

“Oooh, the lady is a tough one.”

She took the handheld showerhead and rinsed him then slapped him on the butt. “Go, so I can take my shower.”

He turned around and pulled her near. His cock nudged her opening. “I will if you promise to wait for me tonight.”

  She smiled. “It’s a deal.”

  Chapter Ten

For the next few weeks, she and Sparks went out at least twice a week. Evan would stop by on occasion, but it was usually to see if she needed anything. He hadn’t tried to kiss her again, and she didn’t feel right about putting the moves on him.

It was almost as if they wanted her to be so comfortable with Sparks that adding Evan to the mix wouldn’t bother her. If they hadn’t told her their plan to share, she would have thought Evan was bowing out for Sparks’s sake. She wasn’t sure she liked their plan. She missed her good times with Evan.

When the last patient left the office, Brittany went into the back room and gathered her coat. Outside, the evening was cold but clear. Sparks and she didn’t have a date, so she planned to spend the night cleaning the house. The contractor she’d hired to redo the bath had finally finished, and she couldn’t be more pleased with the result, but construction dust was everywhere.

She turned the ignition key but nothing happened. “Damn it.”

After four more tries, she dropped her head back and slapped the wheel. The car was less than a month old. What was up with that? She had AAA, but that was back in California, and she bet there was no dealer in Pleasure to take care of her. Yes, there were auto repair shops, but she hadn’t learned their names. Shit.

Headlights flashed across her windshield. Sparks’s Jeep pulled into the lot. How lucky was that? She got out and waved. He pulled in next to her and rolled down the window.

  “What’s up?”

  “My car’s dead.”

His chin tucked under. “How can that be? It’s new.”

  “I know.”

He got out. “Pop the hood.”

All men seemed to possess the car gene. She certainly didn’t. He looked at the engine for all of a minute and shrugged. He asked a few more questions about whether she’d flooded the
engine, but in the end he didn’t seem to have a clue why it had died. “I’m calling Evan. He’s the car genius.”

She thought it had been Sparks and Brody who’d built an engine in high school. Guess her memory was faulty.

He disconnected. “He’s in the forest right now, but he’ll be down as soon as he can. Leave the car unlocked and the keys under the mat, and Evan will check it out as soon as he gets here.”

  “Someone could steal it.”

“This is Pleasure, Montana, not LA.”

  “True.”

He took her hand. “How about we get a bite to eat? Then I have a special surprise for you.”

What was up with men and their surprises? She knew not to ask Sparks what he had in mind. He wouldn’t tell her anyway. “I guess since my car is basically holding me hostage, I’ll let you drive.”

His Jeep was warm inside and smelled of snow and leather. The moment Sparks had shown up, her blood pressure had dropped. When it came to car repairs and house fixer-up issues, she was more than ready to turn over the reins to a man.

No surprise, he stopped at the Mountain View Bar & Grill. The place was always spotless and the food outstanding. Sparks picked a table in the far corner. He always did possess a romantic streak.

A kid came over and took their drink orders.

She leaned back, ready to talk about something other than sick patients and broken cars. “Tell me about your day.”

She envied the freedom he enjoyed, skiing all day and visiting with the locals who lived far from town.

“I brought old man Emory some groceries. Apparently, he’s got a bad cold and hasn’t been up to coming in and getting supplies.”

She remembered him. “That’s got to be tough.”

“Yeah. His wife died three years ago, and his eyesight is shot. It’s hard when there aren’t any relatives to take care of the elderly.”

Driving in the winter was difficult for anyone, let alone someone with poor reflexes. “That’s why we have you and Evan.”

  “Probably true.”

The server brought their drinks, and they ordered their meal. She sipped her hot coffee. “Thinking of elderly neighbors, when we lived in Connecticut, Mrs. Robinson lived next door to us. She was a sweet old lady who’d lost her husband. One day I went to her house to sell her pot holders I’d made. She asked me if I was going to donate any of the proceeds to charity. I think I was eight at the time and didn’t really understand what that meant.”

  “Did you donate something?”

“I asked my mother what I should do, and she said I should give twenty percent to the church. I told her I wanted to give it to the Red Cross instead.”

He smiled. “Maybe that meant you were destined to go into nursing.”

“Probably.” She chuckled. “I didn’t know why I told you that story, but thinking of Mr. Emory got me thinking about old people.”

“I’m glad you did.” From the way his eyes lowered, he meant it.

In no time, the server returned and placed their meals in front of them.

She glanced at her phone for the time.

“Don’t worry. Evan knows to meet us here when he’s done.”

She hadn’t heard him give Evan those instructions, but maybe she’d been preoccupied. When they finished, Sparks insisted he pay. The server was processing the receipt when Evan walked in. He glanced around and hustled back toward them.

“Good news. The distributor cap had wiggled loose.” His gaze shot to Sparks for a second, but she couldn’t tell what the look meant.

  “So, I’m good to go?”

  “Yup.”

  “I can’t thank you enough.”

“There are ways.” He grinned, and a wave of lust grabbed her.

Enough. He’d more or less stepped out of the picture. His comment, though, implied her original assessment was correct. Get used to one before adding another.

Yikes. This was getting too complicated.

Once outside, Sparks and Evan headed toward the Jeep. “You up for some ice skating?” Sparks said.

“Ice skating? I’m wearing scrubs and I don’t have skates.”

Sparks popped the back. He pulled out her old blue ice skates, along with a pair of an even more ancient pair of ski pants. She laughed. “Where did you get those?”

  “From your mom’s house.”

She sucked in a breath. “You went there?”

He tilted his head. “I did. This morning. I told her you asked me to stop by and pick them up.”

“How did she react to that?”

“She seemed pleased you were sleeping with someone other than Brody.”

Her mouth dropped open. “She so did not say that.”

He came toward her and handed her the gear. “No, but I’m sure your mom drew some kind of conclusion.”

Could this get any more embarrassing? “I can’t imagine what she’ll say next time I stop over.”

  “It’ll be fine. Hop in.”

Evan had driven over, yet they both decided to take one car. She found it odd that Evan would have skates with him. Hmm. It smelled like a setup to her, but she wasn’t going to complain. She was happy to be with him again.

“I’ll take the backseat. I’ll have more room to put on my pants. Just to let you know, I’ll need help even standing up on the ice. I haven’t ice-skated since high school, but I’m looking forward to trying.”

Evan leaned back over the seat. “You’ll be safe with us.”

Palmer’s Lake brought back good memories. Mr. Palmer, the lake’s original owner, had installed a lighting system to enable his family to skate at night. In his will, he donated the lake to the city. It then became the skating haven for kids and their families.

When they arrived, the fifteen-acre lake was filled with people of various ages.

Excitement raced through her. “This is going to be fun.”

They all piled out of the car and headed to the benches to put on their skates. Nervous she’d either fall or make a fool of herself, she waited for the men to don their gear. With their help, she was sure to get her stride back.

They each grabbed a hand and led her onto the ice. Her feet refused to move. “I’m afraid I’m going to fall.”

Sparks and Evan both wrapped an arm around her waist. “Come on. We’ve got you.”

With their support, she leaned on her left leg and pushed off. The first few strokes seemed awkward, but soon her muscles remembered what to do. The arms around her waist turned into hand-holders, and eventually, they let go. The ice was smooth, and all three headed around the perimeter of the circle. The inside was for the more experienced skaters trying to perfect their spins and jumps.

“If you two want to work on your technique, go ahead. I won’t fall.”

“Our technique?” Sparks chuckled. “We’re willing to try some twists and flips while on skis, but not on the ice. We’re sticking with you.”

Sparks led the way and Evan followed behind her. Children laughed, though a few squealed and a couple whined. Despite the crispness of the air, she wasn’t cold in the least. Sparks spun back around and took hold of her hands. He skated backward for a while then swung her around until she was going in the opposite direction. She’d forgotten how much they’d played here. In a way, she wished Brody had come. Then it would be like old times.

As time went on, she became more adventuresome, trying to glide on one blade. She slowed to a near crawl and spun. Her laughter bubbled up. Both men surrounded her.

  “Don’t fall.”

“I’m good.” To prove just how much her skating muscles had returned, she dashed toward the center of the ice.

“Be careful,” one of them shouted.

She looked over her shoulder to wave when someone crashed into her. Her feet flew out from under her and she landed on her rear. Her head banged on the ice and her vision turned black.

When she opened her eyes, Evan and Sparks were on their knees hovering over her, as were a lo
t of others.

  “I’m good.”

“Stay still. We need to check you out.”

She understood the procedure. Nothing other than her head hurt, but she let them go through the head-to-toe examination.

Evan sat back on his heels. “Nothing appears broken.”

“I told you. Now help me up.”

She didn’t need a repeat of the fall. A woman, holding the hand of a child, moved in closer. “Are you all right? I’m so sorry.” She looked down at the young boy. “Say you’re sorry.”

  “I’m sorry. I didn’t see you.”

According to the mother, the son was racing and ran into her. “That’s okay. I’m good.” Her head pounded and her vision blurred for a second.

The men insisted on helping her off the ice and even removed her skates for her. “We need to get you home.”

Her head throbbed, but otherwise she felt okay. She had blacked out, implying she’d gotten a damned concussion. It might turn into nothing, or there might be some brain swelling. If she became nauseated, Evan and Sparks would rush her to the hospital. It was comforting to know she was with two trained men.

When she climbed into the backseat of the Jeep, Evan slid in next to her. She looked up at him. “You think I need a babysitter?”

“You were out for about thirty seconds.”

Her heart skipped a beat. “Damn.”

Evan took her hand. “We’ll take good care of you.”

She knew they’d never let her drive home, and that the next twenty-four hours would determine if she had any side effects from the fall. She didn’t argue with their decision.

Once they got her home, they made her hot tea and told her to climb into bed. They were staying the night.

“You don’t have to.” Though she’d feel a lot safer if they did stay. “My head really doesn’t hurt that much. It’s just tender when I press on my skull.”

“Doesn’t matter. We need to remain by your side just in case.”

They were so intent on making sure she was safe, she wouldn’t turn them down. Besides, she needed one of them to give her a ride to work tomorrow since her car was still at the clinic.

She put on her most conservative nightgown and bathrobe and went out to the living room. They were watching TV. “The bed in the guest room is made up. I’ll get you some pillows and blankets for the couch.”
