Timeless (Maiden Of Time Book 3)

He slipped both arms around her waist, crushing her to him and reminding her lips that they had a perfect equal. They remained, locked in a physical reunion until both believed the veracity of the other. At last his hold relaxed.
She laced her fingers into his hair and pulled him closer, deepening their connection. I am not done with you yet.
He laughed. Take whatever you want. I am all yours.
She giggled against his mouth. After all they’d been through, he had better be—no more regrets or secrets. Through their connection, she showed him how she’d defeated Deamus. He shared glimpses of the last half-century, including her father’s final moments, surrounded by those he loved. He’d left the world at peace.
It is time for me to go home, Kiren whispered to her mind.
She laughed. Time holds no meaning. We can stay here for the next ten years and then come back to this moment. Remember, you are married to the Maiden of Time.
Alexia released the seconds, but kept Kiren’s hand in hers. She turned to Corona. “And now, dearest daughter, I wish to know everything. Tell me about yourself.” She lifted her gaze to Kiren. “We are finally a family.”
Life and death. A perfect balance. And for now, she was ready to embrace life, all of it—the good, the bad, the pain, the joy. Whether she believed in Kiren’s God or not, she shared one sentiment: All things happened for a reason. The reason may be to test her, to prove her, to build her up, but she would embrace each moment and find the lesson in it. The sacrifices had been made, the world had been saved, and now it was her turn.
She was going to live.

Acknowledgements
“The third book is done. The trilogy is complete. Breathe!” I’ve been repeating these things for the last 6 months and still can’t believe it. This is an incredible day and I’m so grateful for everyone who has made it possible.
First and foremost—you readers who have nudged, hinted, and outright badgered me about getting my rear in action, thank you. You are the fire behind my fingers.
Next to my fabulous critique group who not only suffered through the third book of the trilogy without reading the first, but who did it on the clock. I am baffled by your generosity.
REVIEWERS, you are the life blood of an author. Even if all you have time to give is one sentence, you make my writerly heart beat. Thank you!
Gratitude as epic as cheese goes to the best husband in the world who read the book 3 times, and suffered with me through a complete rewrite. (Yes, Matt, I mean you. Love you to eternity and back!)
Huge thanks to my editor, Bethany, at A Little Red Inc., for her incredible eye.
To my fabulous critique partner, thank you, Rachel Hert.
My amazing sister who made time to read for me around raising 4 young kids, Cindy, you are the best.
All my blogging pals, thank you TONZ for helping me spread the word and being your fabulous selves. You rock!
To my rockin’ Write On Build On writers, and IWSG clan, love you +10! Couldn’t have done it without your daily support and encouragement.
My amazing kids… You brainstorm with me, read passages when I’m so excited I can’t wait to share, and patiently do your thing when Mom is lost in a story world. I love you the mostest in the whole world! (Other than your dad.)
