Fell For The Plug Next Door Page 9

I went to the back and started working on the car. Great minds do think alike, because Ivy crossed my mind, and then my phone rung with her on the other end.

  "Hey, are you busy?"

"Kinda, but are you ok? You need something?"

"No, it can wait. I just wanted to know what your plans are for dinner?"

"Right now, it’s looking like whatever you want to do. You tricking on me tonight or what?" I joked.

"Boy, whatever. My place at seven tonight, and don't be late! Oh shit, you have Zanaya tonight, don’t you?"

"No, no, you good. I did have her, until my mama and sister stole her, but I'll be there at six fifty, how about dat?"

  "See you then, daddy."

"Bye, mama." I ended the call.

"Look into the light, Zane, look into the light." Berg was looking up towards the sky. "Bro, what the fuck Ivy doing to you, man?"

"Nigga, that was my mama on the phone."

"Which mama? The one that spanks you, or the one you spank?"

I laughed. "Nigga, shut the fuck up, dumb ass. Pass me that wrench."

Berg handed me the wrench. "You don't know how happy I am that you getting some pussy now. Nigga, you look like you about to break out and tap dance at any moment, you so damn happy."

I chuckled. "It ain't even about the pussy, bro. Her shit is good and tight, but the vibe is different, she got things about her to offer a man instead of pussy."

"Man, I wish I knew that feeling. These hoes out here ain't been raised right, bruh. I just need to settle down and find me a nice girl that I can marry, and have me some kids with, bruh."

I stopped what I was doing, and looked at Berg, to see was he serious. "You playing, right?"

  "Not this time," he chuckled.

"What the hell did I miss? Who are you? And what the fuck did you do to my cousin?"

"Man, I don't know what happened, bruh. I was in the middle of fucking this chick, right? And I forgot to turn my phone off, because my baby mom's kept calling. My mood just changed, because on the cool, I was supposed to pick up my son so she could have her time, but I was in some pussy instead. Man, I got my shit and went home."

"So, you trying to make it work with your baby mama?"

"I don't know, man, she can get just as wild as me sometimes, but nah, I’ve been chilling with this this other chick and she got my mind gone. I just need to get my shit together, leave these hoes alone, and just focus on her.”

I looked at him suspiciously. "Nigga, are you dying? Did you catch something? What the fuck’s going on, because I don't believe nothing I'm hearing."

"Nigga, none of that. I'm done playing with these hoes, for real. I’ve been waiting all my life for her, and man, she came right on time. Once I tie up these loose ends, it’s just going to be me and baby girl."

"If you say so, but that's a good look. But let me ask you something, you heard anything in the street about Timeka being pregnant?" Berg’s ass was still in the streets, dipping and dabbing a little bit, so he would hear something before me.

"Pregnant? Nigga, every nigga in Detroit know to stay away from her crazy ass. I haven't heard shit, but are you sure she's not telling you just to get under your skin? You know that’s these hoes favorite line."

"I thought about that, but when I went to pick Zanaya up, I saw her stomach, and she's most def pregnant. Just keep an open ear, I need to find out who the nigga is, just in case he’s around Zanaya."

"I gotcha, and since you put it that way, I need to know who this nigga is too, can’t have my niece around anybody." Berg’s phone rung, and he stepped outside to answer it.

I wanted to believe Berg, but his actions always showed me different. There does come a time in a man's life when he has to grow up and settle down, but this wasn't the time for Berg. Berg was a lady’s man, and I couldn't see him letting all his women go. He was guilt stricken, because he left his baby mama and son hanging, but once he got over that, he would be back to his old self. We'd have this conversation again, and I can already hear him saying, "Man, I was tripping."

Berg came back in the garage. "I'm about to go to Auto Zone to pick up some supplies. Hit me up if you need something."

"Aight, and get some new towels, these are old." I told him.

Three hours later, I was finished with the engine and installed it. I told Tangie she could leave early, and she was happy as hell to leave the shop. I called Tasie to check up on Zanaya, and they were eating pizza and watching a movie. My stomach growled, and I realized I let myself go the whole day again without eating. Ivy better know how to maneuver around a kitchen, and make magic inside them pots. I locked up the shop and hit the alarm on my car. I grabbed my gun on instinct, feeling like someone was watching me. I noticed a car parked a few feet down, that I never saw around. I quickly turned, and got in my car, not wanting whoever the person was in the car to know that I was on to them. I backed out the driveway, and took another route home, just to see if they would follow me. I turned down a side street and so did they. I whipped around the block a few more times, and they were still following me.

  "Where you at, man?"

"At the crib. Why, what's up?"

"I'm being followed, and I don't know who it is. I'm on Lahser."

"Shit, I'm on the way, just hold them niggas off."

I rode around and hit different side streets, until they had enough, and started blasting at my car. It was only one person blasting, which meant this was some personal shit and not a hit. I couldn't shoot, drive, and dodge bullets, so I accelerated faster, and tried to lose him. A bullet shattered my back window, and then shot out my tire. My car spun out of control and hit a pole. The airbag deployed, and hit my ass right in the face. I could hear the car stopping, and then someone got out, but got right back in when Berg pulled up and started blasting on them. The car skirted off, and Berg jumped out his ride and rushed over to me.

"Nigga, you ain't hit, are you? Come on, let me help you."

My head was hurting like shit, but I managed to get out the car. "Did you see who it was?"

"I didn't see his face, but I saw the tattoo on his arm, and it was that nigga, X. What the fuck you do to that nigga that got him on your ass?"

"I ain't doing shit to that nigga, but fucking his ex-wife." I smirked. Just thinking about Ivy’s warm and tight ass pussy, was making me feel better already.

I called Ralph, and gave him the location to pick up my car and tow it back to the shop. Ivy was going to be pissed that I was late for our date, but telling her I was going to kill her ex-husband when I got my hands on him, should make up for it. Berg drove me home, and I told him to pick me up for work in the morning. All the lights were out in Ivy’s condo, which was a never, unless she wasn't there. I opened my door, and went straight to my room to get ready. I was sore as fuck, but I still was taking my ass next door. After I took a hot shower and put on some sweats and T-shirt, I knocked on Ivy's door. She opened the door with a scowl on her face, but once she saw the big ass knot on my head, she softened up.

"See, I thought you could fight. Who whooped your ass? Come inside, and tell mama who did it," she joked.

I entered her home, and Ivy had candles lit everywhere, and jazz playing. "Damn, you like my ass, don't you? You did this just for me?"

"Yes, I figured after a hard day of work, you should come home to something like this once in a while. You don't like it?"

"Nah, I, I love it. I've never had a woman do anything for me like this, so I guess I'm a little lost for words. You got me feeling real special, come here."

Ivy fell into my arms, and I put my hands around her. I really didn't know what do, other than hug her, because I was feeling real appreciated right now. I did small things around the house for Ivy, but I felt like a real man should be doing those things whether the lady was a friend or partner. That's when it hit me, that Ivy wasn't with just an ordinary girl. Ivy was once a wife, so she knew how to take care of man without being told too. She knew ho
w to cater to me without feeling like it was an occupation. I hadn't realized that I had something close to perfect in my arms.

Ivy looked up at me and pecked my lips. "Are you going to tell me who kicked your ass?" We laughed.

She took my hand and led me to the dining room table. I admired the way her ass sat up in the boy shorts she was wearing. She pulled the chair out for me to sit down, but I made her sit down instead. I went in her kitchen, and looked at the meal she prepared. She had big juicy steaks, and baked potatoes in the oven, and a fresh garden salad in the fridge.

"Zane, please come sit down, and let me take care of you. I did do this for you."

"You did, and I appreciate that, but how about we go fifty fifty on this friendship? You cook, I fix the plates. You open your legs. I stick my dick in you, you know, just for an example." We laughed. "No, but I mean it. When you with me, I want you to do the bare minimum, alright?"

She shook her head. I fixed our plates, and I sat in the chair across from her. Ivy blessed the food and I went ham on the steak and potatoes. Ivy got up and poured her a glass of wine, and brought me a Coke out the fridge. She handed me a paper towel and sat back in her chair.

"You just couldn't keep your ass in that chair, huh?"

"What? I didn't want you to get up, and plus, I was the one closer to it, so I got it." She stuffed her mouth with food.

"You gon’ listen to me one day."

  "What happens if I don't?"

"You gon’ end up like your ex-husband. He’s the reason I have this knot on my head."

"Now, Zane, I know damn well you didn't let Xavier’s punk ass whoop your ass."

"Stop saying somebody whooped my ass. I ain't got my ass whooped since I was thirteen years old." I went on to tell her what happened.

"Oh my God, what the hell is wrong with him? Berg should have shot him in the ass, and then maybe he would go sit down somewhere."

"I ain't worried about that lil nigga. He's a one-man team, and that ain't enough to stop me from coming after him. I got to give it to him though, he's brave as fuck, but the deal he made with the devil just cost him his life."

Xavier was in the pee wee football league. I hit a motherfucker hard, up close, and with full power. I would sleep good tonight, because a nigga like Xavier only put fear inside himself. Ivy got up and went to the fridge, and came back with a strawberry cheesecake.

"Damn, I see you Ivy, girl."

She put some of the topping on her finger, and I opened my mouth so I could taste it. I saw the look in her eyes, and from the day I had, some warm pussy would sooth me. I picked her up off the chair and carried her to her bedroom. I laid her on her bed and got on top of her, she looked into my eyes and I stared into hers. Whatever was brewing in my soul, was telling me we were on the right course. She didn't think I had noticed, but I saw how her body reacted when I called this a friendship. I could see us being more than friends, but we both needed to make sure that was something we both wanted. Ivy slipped her tongue in my mouth, and my hands attacked her body. She was soft and beautiful under me, and I didn't want this feeling to ever go away.

  "Let's try something new tonight."

  "What's that?"

"I want control, all the control. Let me have my way."

That was some of the most freakiest, and sexiest shit, a woman had ever told me. I lifted myself off of her, and stripped down until I was naked, and my dick was standing in her face. She told me to lay back on the bed and I obliged. As long as she didn't play with my asshole, Ivy had that look like she was about to leave a lasting impression on my ass. She climbed on top of me, and I knew it was about to on and popping at Ivy Rose Jackson’s place of residence.

The sex was intense, raunchy, and mind fucking blowing. Nah, bruh, I needed to go ahead and let Ivy know she was mine, and I wanted her ass bad. This couldn't wait until the morning, I had to tell her now.

  "Zane, your phone is vibrating."

I looked on the night stand, and it was Timeka. My daughter wasn't with her, so why the hell was she calling me at three o'clock in the morning? I went against what I was thinking, and answered anyway.

"Hello!" I answered, with an attitude.

"Oh, baby, yes, yes, baby, yes."

  "Hello!" I yelled.

"That feel so good, daddy, right there, yes, baby, Zane never fucked me like this." Timeka moaned. How the fuck could she be fucking another nigga and thinking about me?

This bitch called me while she was fucking another nigga. This shit didn't make me mad, it just through away all the respect I ever had for my baby mama. She was trash, just like all the other bitches I fucked with.

"Bitch, shut up, and turn over." I heard a familiar voice.

The phone hung up, but I sat up straight in Ivy's bed. Ivy turned on the nightstand light, and sat up next to me.

  "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I will be, go back to sleep, baby. Just some shit I have to handle later on.”

Ivy cuddled up next to me, and I wrapped my arms around her. I wasn’t going to leave my girl to go handle a hoe that meant nothing to me. However, tonight would be a sleepless night, because thousands of ideas on how I was going to kill Timeka and Berg crossed my mind.

  Ivy

Two weeks had gone since the night I cooked for Zane, and he had become distant. Whoever called him that night when he was at my house, was the reason behind the sudden mood change. I went up to his shop a few times to bring him lunch, and he wasn’t there. Tangie told me he went out of town to bring back a car for his next project. He wasn’t my man, but the least he could do was tell me he was going out of town, so I didn’t have to worry about his black ass. I tried calling him again, and then I sent him a text message, but he didn’t respond back. It had been two weeks since I talked to, or laid eyes on Sunjai too, and I was about to knock on her door.

“It took you long enough to come check on me.” She said, opening the door, and letting me in.

“Whatever, you knew I was going to be mad at that bullshit you told me, so don’t play stupid,” I sat on her couch.

“And you know that bullshit you told me had me not giving a fuck about your ass, so don’t you play stupid neither. Scoot your big ass over and give me my blanket.”

“Turn down the ac, it’s freezing up in here. You know what? Let’s go get a drink, or go out to eat. I need to get out and do something.”

I hated when I got like this, I was antsy, and needed something to do to take my mind off Zane. I really felt like this nigga was playing with my feelings. I thought we were building towards something, and I told his ass I needed him to be honest with me at all times, no matter how fucked up it might be. Two whole fucking weeks his ass has been gone, and he hadn’t thought about reaching out to me.

“Girl, let’s go, because I’m hungry, and I got a date later so I can’t be out with yo ass all night.”

“A date with who, Melo?” I played like I was surprised.

“Hell no, girl, fuck Melo, this is someone new and way much better than his trifling ass.”

I was thinking to myself, how much better could Big Rick be? Him and Melo were just the same, except Big Rick was deep in the game, and had been the biggest Kingpin in Detroit to date. I saw all the new furniture and big screen TV she had hanging on her wall. Sunjai was used to having Melo pay all the bills, while she kept a part-time job as a receptionist at a doctor’s office. On her salary there was no way she could afford all this. If she didn’t want to tell me she was fucking Big Rick, then fine. I wasn’t going to pull it out of her. In the end, when he broke her heart like Melo, she could come crying to me.

“I’m ready, let’s go, and we can drive my car.” She told me.

“I hope you got the air fixed in that hot ass car.”

She popped her lips. “See, you always trying to play me, but I know you saw them paper tags on that new Audi out there.”

Sure enough, when we got outside, I spotted the black Audi. It was a beautiful automobile, bu
t I wondered what the hell Sunjai had got herself into, because Big Rick just wasn’t passing out gifts.

  “You like it?”

I humped my shoulders. “It’s ok.”

“You know what? Just get your salty ass in the car.”

I put my hands on my hips. “Bitch, why would I be salty because you got a car you can’t afford?”

“Wait a minute, bitch. How do you know what I can and can’t afford? So, you’re the only one that can ride around in luxury? Everything was ok when I was riding around in that piece of shit.” She pointed to her old Mercedes.

I was being mean, and I threw a whole shade branch at my best friend, but this was all Zane’s fault. I was off my element, and if I could just talk to him and cuss his ass out, I would be fine.

“I’m sorry, boo. It’s Zane, and I’ll tell you about him later, but you’re wrong. You can ride right beside me in your beautiful car, and we can both stunt on these bitches.” I walked over to her and gave her a hug.

The car was even more beautiful on the inside, and if you didn’t feel like a million bucks in this car, you wasn’t worth a damn from the start. Sunjai started the engine and we were out. The ride to City Wings was quiet, and Sunjai weaved in and out of traffic. She was handling the car, and I was loving the smooth ride. She lit a blunt and passed it to me.

“Ivy, are you ok? You are never this quiet.”

I sighed. “Yea, I just hope I didn’t make a mistake.” I passed her the blunt back.

“With who, Zane? What the fuck he do? Because you know I will fuck that nigga up behind you. We can sneak in his apartment while he’s asleep, and tie his ass up, put a sock in his mouth, and-”

“Sunjai! Girl, come back down to earth, earth to Sunjai.” We laughed.

“Girl, my bad, I was going off the deep end, wasn’t I?”

“Yeah, boo, you almost fell off it.” We laughed.

We pulled up to the restaurant, and Sunjai paid to have her car valet. We were seated and we ordered a drink and appetizer.

“So, I take it things aren’t going to good with you and Zane?”
