Fell For The Plug Next Door Page 17

“Thank you so much, baby, I really needed this.” My body was all tense, and this hot bath would relieve the tension.

“You know I’m going to take care of you. I’m so proud of you, baby. I just knew that girl was about to eat a bullet, but you handled that well. I’m mad though.”

  “Why, baby?”

“Man, I thought I had a real killer on my hands, I was going to go ask you to kill Timeka.” We laughed.

“You really are stupid, you know that? Do you want to know what happened?”

“If you feel like telling me, but let me comfortable. I can’t stop looking at your nipples, they staring at me too, saying come rub on me, come rub on me!” We laughed again. Zane got out of all his clothes and slid behind me in the bathtub. I went on to tell him everything about how we all used to hang out, to how Sharaya was my sister, instead of my cousin.

“Baby, this is some real-life soap opera shit. We need to send this to Tyler Perry, so that nigga can have a real storyline. Do your daddy know?”

“No, at least, I don’t think he does. Eventually, what’s done in the dark, will come to the light, and she’ll have to tell him. I don’t want to talk about them anymore. I’ve said my peace, and now I can move on. What were you saying again?”

“I thought I was telling you how much I love you.” Zane kissed and licked on the side of my neck.

“No, I thought you said my nipples were telling you to come rub me, come rub.” I giggled.

Zane raised out of the tub and picked me up with him. Lifting them heavy ass motors had Zane’s body on point, and he could pick me up like a feather. He carried me to the bed, and we took our time making sweet love.

  One week later

“Zane, hurry up, Mama will be here in ten minutes, put the candles on the cake, dumbass.” Tasie told Zane.

“Tasie, you know you want to lick the icing, so why don’t you do it and stay off my ass?”

“Fuck you, and your fat jokes, Zane. You can’t hurt a bitch who knows she’s fat, feelings.” Tasie rolled her eyes at Zane.

“Both of y’all shut the fuck up, and I’ll put the candles on the cake just like I did everything else!” Tangie instigated.

“Tangie, you always have to let a motherfucker know what you did. Where the fuck is this nigga we supposed to be meeting today anyway?” Tasie asked Tangie.

Me and Sunjai finished putting the cups on the table, and making sure the food was in place, while Zane and his siblings argued. Zane and his sisters rented out a beautiful building to throw Mrs. Viola a sixtieth surprise birthday party. From what was going down right now, this was going to be a party to remember if her children kept showing their asses. I walked over to them, and pulled Zane away from them. At times, I felt his sisters were ganging up on my baby, but I wouldn’t dare get involved in their sibling rivalry.

“Stop sweating the small stuff, and just think about how much fun your mama is going to have tonight.” I told Zane.

“Ain’t nobody worried about Tasie or Tangie, but you turn around and let me see you, girl.” I pranced around as I showed off the dress I bought from H&M and the heels from Aldo.

“You like it? I bought it just for you.”

Zane licked his lips and put my hands on his hard dick. “You feel that, that’s my answer. You know what da fuck you to do me,” he whispered, in my ear.

“Ok, everybody, she’s here!” Tangie yelled, so everyone could hear.

We all got in position, and when Mrs. Viola walked through the door, we all yelled surprise. She instantly stared crying, as people walked up to her and told her happy birthday. The party kicked off and everyone was having a good time.

“So, Tangie, where is this nigga?” Zane asked. Me, Zane, Tangie, Tasie, and Sunjai, were sitting at table.

“He ain’t coming, or she lied.” Tasie added her two cents. Her and Zane laughed.

“Why the fuck do they keep asking about a nigga, Tangie?” Sunjai asked her.

“Why the fuck are you fucking Big Rick?” Tangie responded.

“Who the fuck told you I was fucking Big Rick?”

“It doesn’t matter who told me, are you fucking that nigga or not?” Tangie looked like she wanted to strangle Sunjai.

All of our heads went from Sunjai and Tangie, as they argued back and forth with one another. Mrs. Viola came over and they still were going at it.

“You think I’m going to be taking care of you, and you fucking with another nigga? I thought this was what you wanted?” Tangie was now facing Sunjai.

“Baby, you are what I want, and I’m not fucking with nasty ass Big Rick. I’d go back to Melo if that was the case.”

“Wait, hold the fuck up. So y’all just gon’ keep talking in front of us like y’all ain’t eating each other’s cats?” Zane blurted out, and I hit him under the table.

“Shut the hell up, and mind your damn business, Zane. Tangie is grown, and she can do what the hell she wants to do. So, when did you decided you liked pussy?” Mrs. Viola asked.

“Mama, can we talk about this later?” Tangie asked.

“Chile, we don’t have to talk about nothing. It’s your life and your choice, I don’t love you any differently. Now, it’s my party, and y’all need to get up and dance and go drink a little. Sunjai, don’t hurt my baby.” Mrs. Viola kissed Sunjai on the cheek and went back to the dance floor.

I was shocked, to say the least. I had no idea Sunjai was into swimming in the lady pond. Her and Tangie were good friends when we were in high school, but I never thought much of it until now. I was like Mrs. Viola though, as long as she was happy, I didn’t care how she was getting her pussy ate.

“So, now y’all know there won’t be a nigga showing up tonight, unless y’all want this bitch aired out. This my baby, and we are together.” Sunjai grabbed Tangie hand and she kissed the back of it.

“Y’all are so cute. I’m happy for y’all.” Tasie gave her approval.

“That’s fine with me. I’m good knowing I don’t have to blow a nigga’s hairline back tonight, let’s go, baby.” Zane told me.

Me and Zane went to the dance floor, and I wrapped his arms around his neck. We slowed danced to the music, and Zane just had to be extra by rubbing on my ass.

“This has been one hell of night. I never pictured Sunjai and Tangie getting together.” I watched them dance together on the dance floor. They looked really happy. Me and Sunjai made eye contact, and I gave her a thumbs up.

“Me either, but my sister looks happy, so I’m rolling with it. Someone else looks happy too, what’s that smile all about?”

“Did you know smiling is what helps you look young, and that it takes more energy to frown, than it does to smile?” We burst out laughing, because I didn’t know what the hell I was talking about, but it sounded good.

“I don’t ever want to see you look any differently. Things can bring out the worst and good in people, and you bring the good out in me. I don’t ever want to know what it feels like to not be able to hold in my arms. My crown tilted a little, but you helped me fix it, there’s only one girl for me, and whenever you ready, just let me know.”

“You won’t, because I’m not going anywhere. I bought a condo right next to you, so you’re stuck with me, buddy, but what should I let you know?”

“Whenever you ready to change your last name again, knock on the door.” He looked deep in my eyes.

“How about I just use my key and come on in?”

“That too, baby.” I crashed my lips against his.

My life started out rough and hard, but it shaped me in the woman I am today. Every single tear, and every painful moment, brought me to this very moment. If I had to do it all over again, I would, because it led me to the front door of the man who captured my heart.

  One year later…

  Berg

Things had gone from bad, to good, to worse. I let my feelings get the best of me, and it cost me everything. My family, my girl, my son, and now it was about to c
ost me my freedom. After Zane whooped my ass and took the bricks, I didn’t have nothing to my name. Monique changed the locks on her door and told me stay away from her and her son. My mama let me stay with her from time to time, but since I didn’t have any money, she stopped answering. I tried to get back in the good graces of some the hoes I used to fuck with before I cut them off, but they stopped fucking with me too. The streets stopped showing me love, and it was all because of that bitch ass nigga, Zane. Nobody, not even the new cats would sell me a gram, or dime sack. My hands were tied behind my back, and the only thing I knew how to do, I couldn’t. So I had to think off another way. Since nobody would give it to me, I started taking it, my plans were to get Melo’s ass back for shooting me, but I heard he got pulled over and was caught with two bricks of cocaine in the trunk of his car. I still stuck to the plans, but I went a different route. I mostly stalked rich, white, suburban men, who had families. I would watch my subject for a week before I got up the nerve to rob them. I had to be on my shit, because one wrong move would have me caught up, like now. I robbed the wrong motherfucker, and I’m sitting in the back of police car on my way to jail for armed robbery. I had nobody. I was all alone, wait, maybe there was one person who I could call.

  Sunjai

“Yesss, Tangie, right there, baby! Fuck, mama!” I moaned.

Let me tell you niggas something, y’all need to take eating pussy lessons from a gay bitch, because Tangie’s ass fucks around. I locked my legs around her neck and moved her head in circular motions. Tangie had surprised me at my job today, and now we were on top of my desk, sucking each other’s souls out. Me and Tangie had been going strong, and I couldn’t see myself with anyone but her. The night at the car show, Tangie showed up, rocked my world, changed my life, and things have been good for me thus far. Tangie and my relationship is so mature, it’s real, and our connection is something I’ve never experienced before. My mama and my grandma love Tangie, and that makes what we share much more special. It doesn’t matter if I’m with a woman or a man, what Tangie has taught me is that any person can say they love you, but it’s their actions that prove otherwise.

  “Fuck, I’m about to cum.”

Tangie sucked on my clit harder, until my body started to shake, and I was releasing in her mouth. Tangie’s tongue was lethal, and it always took me a minute to recover from our sex sessions.

“Where are you going? You can’t stay with me today?” I pouted.

“No, baby, I got to get up to the shop before I have to cuss Zane’s impatient ass out. I’ll stop by later and bring you some lunch.”

“No, I’ll see you when you get home. I’ll cook, and then we can just chill the rest of the day.”

“Sounds good to me. I’ll see you later, baby.” Me and Tangie kissed and said our goodbyes.

What could I say? Tangie had me wrapped around her fingers, and I loved every minute of it.

  Timeka

The jail door slammed, and out walked Berg. I don’t even know why I was downtown fucking with this nigga. Messing around with him in the first place is the reason I’m all alone, and don’t have anybody to love me. I should have went back down the beauty shop and dragged Rochelle’s ass for giving me the wrong information. I felt like a damn fool when I saw Sharaya’s face on the TV for killing Xavier. A few days later, there was a knock on my door, and about three big bitches rushed my door and started whooping my ass. They beat me so bad, I was in the hospital for a week. When one of the girls put a knife up to my throat, and told me if I ever came near Zane or Ivy again, they would end me, I knew Zane had sent them. The only person besides my mama who came to visit me, was Berg, and maybe that’s why I came when I got the call.

“You look so beautiful, thank you for coming.” Berg told me. I blushed at his compliment. I hadn’t been told I was beautiful my a man in a while.

“Thank you. What did you do to get yourself in jail?”

“I didn’t do shit, and that’s my story. We don’t have much time, but I just wanted to tell you I was sorry for everything I did to you, and I was just trying to hurt Zane. Somehow, I feel in love with you, and I know I played you, but I love you, Timeka.”

Even though it wasn’t Zane professing his love for me like I would like it, it was a man. Berg did play me, and made me look like a fool, but what me and Berg had going on at the time felt good. I was tired of going to work and coming home to an empty house and bed. I deserved to be loved and be happy. Zane was off with Ivy, and had forgotten all about me. He threw away all that we shared like it was nothing. I was tired of waiting on him to open his eyes and see that I was the woman he needed in his life.

  “I love you too, Berg.”

“Good, baby, and I’m going to need you. First thing first, I need you to bail me out of here, so I can come home, and we can be a family. I’m going to need a lawyer too, then I’ll get a job so I can pay you back, and then we can get married and have more kids.”

I listened to Berg say all these things and a smile spread across my face. I stared at Berg, and I believed he could give me all those things in more. I finished talking to Berg and went to a bondsman to get my man up out of here.

  Ivy

Love, then marriage, then comes kids and a carriage, right? Wrong, for me and Zane, it was just the opposite. Me and Zane were leaving the doctor’s office, and he couldn’t stop smiling at the news. We were expecting, and I was nine weeks pregnant. Blessings, after blessings, were falling from the sky, and I couldn’t be happier. The last year Zane was in Miami working his ass off, while me and Tangie held it down at the Detroit shop. I still loved my job, so I worked part time at the hospital, but most of my time was spent at the shop. Me and Zane made a mutual decision to buy a house together, and last week we closed on our first home. I couldn’t wait to wobble around barefooted and with a big belly.

“Are you excited that you are about to be a big sister, Zanaya?”

“Yes, I’m so happy. I want it to be a boy!” She yelled, in excitement. Me and Zane laughed.

Zanaya was a sweet and smart little girl. She had become a big part in my life, and no matter how much her mama hated me, I was there for her anytime she needed me.

“Baby, are you going by your mama’s to tell her the news?”

  “I don’t know, I haven’t thought about it yet.”

The guilt had eaten up my mama so much, that she eventually told my dad what she had done. Surprisingly, my daddy already knew, and surprised my mama back with another outside kid of his own. I had another brother I didn’t even know about, and I didn’t care to know him. My mama pulled a Sharaya, and came to my condo and begged me for her forgiveness. Her self-pity didn’t move me, and I would never be able to get the words I heard her speak of me out of my head. We could be civil, it wasn’t like I would be over for family dinners and go on family trips. But she was still my mother, and I would just respect and love her from a distance.

I thought about Sharaya from time to time too. She took a plea deal, and was serving a five-year bid upstate for killing Xavier. My mama had her kids, and that was another reason I choose to stay away. I wasn’t going to allow any more bad energy to come in and mess up my family. Me and Zane were deeper in love, and each day, that love was growing. I was right where I needed to be, on the good side of love.

  Zane

Time flies by when you booked and counting up racks. I assumed Ivy would cry and try to stop me from going to Miami, but she supported me one hundred percent and told me to go for it. Zanaya was just happy she could get on a plane every two weeks to come see me. I made a name for myself in Miami, and they offered me another contract, but I didn’t accept it. Instead, we went into business together, and my second shop is set to open in Miami in six months. I took Berg’s replacement under my wing, and he was holding things down at the Detroit shop. The inventory of cars we had coming through was enough to keep things afloat for the next two years. I was out here making boss moves, and the legal way.

I heard by my mama Berg was out here doing bad and robbing niggas. I don’t know if she expected me to go and play superhero, but fuck that nigga. You only got one time to cross me, and he crossed the point of no return. Everything that came to him, he deserved, and how I felt would never change. My life was moving in the right direction, and that’s how I intended for it to stay.

“Daddy, Mama Ivy’s birthday is coming up soon, are you going to throw her a party?” Zanaya and her big ass mouth.

Zanaya nor Ivy didn’t know that I was planning Ivy a birthday party slash engagement party. I was going to ask Ivy to marry me. Wasn’t no need to prolong tit, Ivy was mine, and I’d kill any nigga who was bold enough to come between it. Ivy had my heart and she couldn’t give it back, she was stuck with it forever. I looked over at her, and she was glowing, I looked back at my daughter who eyes were glued to her cellphone, and I rubbed my son, who was baking inside of Ivy’s stomach. I loved all three of them with everything in me. I was about to make Ivy Rose Jackson, Ivy Rose Stanton.
