  His hands moved to cup Sarah to his body, his cock hard against her hip. “I have a ring in that drawer.”

  “Is that a yes?” she prodded him.

  “I could keep the cuffs on you until you agree to marry me.”

  “No.”

  “Why not?”

  “Because I intend to agree right now.”

  “And?” Jonas asked, his eyes glittering.

  Sarah leaned forward and brushed her lips over his. “I have another use for the cuffs. Understood, operative?”

  “Keep in mind who is Alpha One around here,” he replied gruffly.

  “In your dreams.”

  “The first to break loses?” Jonas offered.

  “It’s a deal. Hope you enjoy being Alpha Two, Paige.”

  Brenna Lyons lives in Haverhill, MA with her husband, three children, and a zoo of pets. She is a poet and novelist who has a stunning thirty offerings signed with eXtasy in addition to her other pursuits.

  Brenna holds a BS in Accounting and a Certificate of Computer Programming. Why? An auditing teacher commented that she would either “make the perfect auditor or the perfect thief,” and she had been writing for eleven years with little professional training—in effect, a thief of attention by misdirection.
