“A year is a long time. Are you ok?”

She smiled, running her fingers through my hair as her gray eyes stared into my brown ones. “A little sore but better than ok. Jeff, you promised you would remove your contacts tonight. I bought contact solution and a case. They are under the bathroom sink.”

  “Determined, are we?”

  “I am.”

  “Right back.”

After rinsing the wash cloth and cleaning my hands, I removed my contacts. I stood in the mirror staring back at my own reflection. Sierra is the woman who gets all of me, I thought.

  “Alright it’s done.”

Sierra quickly leaned over turning on the lamp. I peeled back the comforter, sliding next to her. Her hands gripped my face. Sierras bright smile warmed my heart.

“We have the same color eyes.”

  “I know.”

  “Is your hair really brown?”

“Yes, baby,” I replied turning off the lamp.

Her fingers trailed along my chest and tattooed arms. She was allowing herself to be happy and enjoy us. Even though we haven’t been dating that long. Our love making cemented our bond. I held her in my arms never wanting to let her go. In the perfect world we would have met first and fell in love then started a family. Now we have to be bothered with stubborn ex-spouses. Our life will be a challenge, however I’m up for it as long as we are together.

  CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

  JEFF

The sun peeked through the window across my face. I pulled the comforter over my head. The smell of her on the sheets reminded me I was in Sierra’s bed. I popped straight up, hand flew right against my temple. My head was fucking throbbing. Damn, I drank too much last night.

I glanced around the bedroom. Sierra was nowhere to be found. All the shit I talked popped into my head. ‘I own you.’ Shit I can’t believe I said that to her. Not sure if she realized I meant her body belonged to me. I was serious about that. Glancing at the clock on the nightstand it read 9:17 a.m. Why did she let me sleep in? Stepping into the bathroom, I noticed Sierra left a towel, wash cloth, and toothbrush neatly placed on the counter. Being in construction can be a gift and a curse. I over analyze everyone’s house.

My mind however, was working over-time on hers. I realize it’s a fixer upper and it takes time to renovate. Only her children’s bedrooms have been remodeled. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best. My guys informed me after they installed the security system Sierra needs new windows. I know her ex is living better than her, he’s a fucking football star.

Strolling into the kitchen, I snuck up behind her.

“Good morning beautiful,” I whispered against her hair.

She turned around in my arms, snaking her arms around my neck, crashing her lips into mine.

  “Sorry.”

  “Sorry for what Sierra?”

  “Being clingy.”

“Baby, you’re not being clingy. I love when you touch me. Do you like the way I touch you?”

She smiled against my lips as her eyes playfully danced as if she recalled a memory.

“Oh yeah, I definitely love how you touch me all over.”

Her hardened nipples poked through her white t-shirt. My fingers traced along the inside of her panties. I slid them down below her hips letting them drop to the floor.

“Jeff, I just finished cooking breakfast. Come on the food is going to get cold.”

I needed one more taste before going about my day. Dropping to my knees, my fingers teased her nipples before my tongue slid into her pussy. I placed her leg over my shoulder. Sierra didn’t say another word. She held onto my shoulders as I gripped her waist tight assuring she wouldn’t fall.

“Jeff, stop before I cum again,” she breathed.

Her ass rested against the corner of the countertop next to the stove.

“Baby, that is the objective for you to cum in my mouth. Its ok. You’ll get used to it after a while,” I smiled.

“Relax and let me get mine.”

Sierra fingers intertwined in my hair as my tongue fucked her pussy.

  “Oh,” she moaned.

My teeth grazed her clit before wrapping around it, then bringing it into my mouth.

  “Oh fuck! Jeff, I’m cumming.”

That she was. I welcomed the taste of her. A taste I would never want to let go. I slid her panties up her shaky legs.

My lips crashed into hers again. “I don’t want to leave you.”

“I don’t want you to leave, but I need to get to my best friend’s wedding venue. Emoni asked me to be her wedding planner. Do you need me to drop you off at work?”

I held a puzzled look on my face.

“Jeff, remember you had a car service drop us off?”

“Yes.” I ran my fingers through my curly hair.

“Sierra, you can drop me off at home. My team is going to wrap up on the current job site.”

  “Ok, after breakfast.”

  “Breakfast smells damn good!”

  “Thank you.”

Sierra stared at me while I ate.

“What do I have food on my face?”

“No, I love the crow’s feet on the side of your eyes. They are so sexy.”

“That’s from standing out in the sun often.”

  “Hmm,” she licked her lips.

  “Baby, you’re turning me on.”

“You keep me turned on,” she admitted.

  “Good to know.”

“Jeff, I want you to know I was serious when I committed myself to you.”

My lips pressed against hers. “Me too. There are many things I want to do for you now that you are my woman. I’m going to take care of all your financials. I hate seeing you worry.”

She pulled back. “Jeff, that is sweet, but no. If you want to buy us dinner from time to time that’s cool.”

  My eyebrows wrinkled.

“Baby, don’t say a word.” Sierra kissed my neck.

I didn’t like Sierra trying to limit what I do for her. I’m going to do what I want for her.

  ~

Sitting at the counter, I waited for Sierra to get dressed. I called my secretary.

  “Eva.”

“Hey, boss. I’m happy you called. What day do you want to schedule the site walk with Carter group developer?”

“Schedule the walk for 9 a.m. on the first Monday of November. Be sure to add it to my calendar.”

  “Of course.”

“There is something else I need you to do.”

  “Ok.”

I ran my hand over the back of my neck.

Casually, I slipped into the tri level area of the house assessing what needed to be done.

“I’m going to email you the details. I need you to do exactly what I ask. I need a complete home renovation done on the address that will be in the email asap. When you call the customer tell her she won a home renovation. Do not tell her I am paying for it.”

“I got it. You don’t want your girlfriend to know you are paying for her renovation,” she snickered.

“Eva! Make sure you call her after 1 p.m. but before 3 p.m.”

  “Jeff!” Sierra called.

I placed my hand over the receiver. “I’m downstairs.”

  “I have to go!”

“Alright boss, I will take care of it. Talk to you later.”

  I disconnected the call.

Sierra approached me from behind wrapping her arms around my waist.

  “I like that.”

  “What?”

I pulled her around in front of me. “You opening up to me. Being yourself.”

  She chuckled.

“Do you always cook southern style for breakfast?”

“No. Today was special. You got me to open up in ways I didn’t know I could.” A smile brightened her face.

“There’s more where that came from,” I winked, slipping my tongue between her lips.

  CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

  SIERRA

  I
can’t believe this is happening. The man I’m attracted to likes me back. Maybe I should have searched for the man of my dreams in the beginning instead of being swept up into a world wind with first round draft pick into the NFL.

Jeff loves spending time with me. I can’t believe I agreed to be his woman so soon. Could there be something wrong with him? Do I wait for the other shoe to drop? Or do I roll with it? I wish I was more experienced. It’s my fault I’m not.

My ex distracted me with gifts. I would have never thought he was cheating on me. Last night finally happened. A smile crept on my lips just thinking about how good his big ass dick felt inside of me. I can’t wait to ride that monster truck.

Lucky for me, my imagination was way off in terms of how I imagined our first time would be. Damn, he was fucking dominate. I loved it.

My mouth hung open as I approached the wrought iron gates of his community.

“Sierra, type in the security code 8-4-9-3-5.”

I typed in the code. “Jeff, are you sure you want me to know your code though?” My face scrounged up.

Jeff intertwined our fingers, kissing my hand. “Yes Sierra, if I have to reiterate to you over and over again. I will. Baby, I only want to be with you.”

  I stared at him blankly.

“Sierra, drive to the house straight ahead.”

The huge tan house sat in the middle of the cul-de-sac.

Jeff mainly dressed in flannel shirts, khakis, jeans, and work boots. I’ve seen him in a suit twice now. I’m curious to see if he has an extensive wardrobe. His home was surrounded by another black wrought iron gate. I wondered why?

  “Sierra, type in code 7-5-2-9.”

“Jeff, I wouldn’t remember these codes anyway.”

“Don’t worry about it. I’m going to program a card which will allow you to enter the front gate. Sierra, the second gate code you will have to memorize. Do you understand?”

My eyebrows wrinkled a bit. “Ok.”

The driveway housed a three-car garage to my left and a two-car garage straight ahead.

Jeff and I climbed out of my Yukon. He taped the miniature garage door opener on his key chain. His black GMC Sierra and Navy Suburban were parked inside.

“Your truck and I have the same name.” I smiled.

“That’s true.” He kissed my temple.

“Jeff, what is in the other garage?”

He tapped the button opening the other garage. There was a Triple black four door Porsche Panamera, a motorcycle, and 2 jet skis. Imagine my surprise to learn he has this huge house and a Porsche. To think I wondered how he could afford the two homes. This home itself has to be upwards of a million dollars.

The wheels in my head were spinning. Jeff scooped me up, wrapping my legs around his waist. My pink dress bunched over my ass.

“Jeff, I have on a dress. My panties are showing!”

“Don’t worry baby. Nobody can see you from here.”

My lips melted into his. Holding his neck tight, he carried me into the house. He sat me on the kitchen counter. I scanned the custom kitchen.

“God, everything in here is state of the art!”

“Yup.” His tongue ran along my collar bone.

My fingers pressed against his chest. “Baby, you know what you’re doing.”

  “Yeah, I do.”

His fingers slipped inside my panties then into my core.

“Baby, baby, you have to stop, or we will never leave here today.”

He growled against my breast. “Can you stay with me tonight?”

  “Jeff.”

“Baby, I know I’m asking a lot, but I leave in the morning for Seattle.”

  “For how long?”

“Two days. I’ll be back Friday night, just in time for you to spend the weekend with me.”

I smiled against his lips. “What are we doing this weekend?”

“What do you want to do? Besides me fucking you until you cum.”

“Well, of course I want to cum,” I moaned against his lips.

“I want to watch you walk around the house completely naked.”

  “Sierra.”

“You asked what I want. I’m telling you.”

“Sierra, I want you to know, I didn’t forget how you told me what you weren’t going to do. You will be punished.”

  “Um, I can’t wait.”

Jeff helped me off the gray marble counter. My greedy hands found his hard cock.

“Come on. Let me give you a tour.”

His home is beautiful. However, my house in Seattle was bigger. But for a bachelor, this is enormous. Stepping into the dining room, I glance at the painting, in total shock.

My eyes fell on Jeff. “A family portrait?”

“The kids feel comfortable seeing their mom every time they come over.”

My arms folded. “Jeff with you in the picture. You don’t think that’s a little mis leading?”

He ran his fingers through his hair.

“I thought you two were over?”

“Sierra, you know we are. Also, you know I don’t allow photographs of myself, this is the only copy.”

“Do I? Why can’t they look at a picture of her on their tablets or in their bedrooms?”

Jeff immediately removed the picture from the wall, placing it in the corner. “I’ll get rid of it. The last thing I want to do is make you feel uncomfortable.”

“Jeff, don’t do anything you don’t want to.”

Jeff’s fingers swept along my face. “I want to make you happy. If it makes you feel any better she’s never lived here. The only woman who will ever live here will be you.”

I stepped back from his grasp.

“I’m moving too fast. Now that we resolved the portrait, come upstairs.”

We strolled up the wide cherry wood spiral stair case toward his massive master bedroom. The colors throughout his home were gray, tan, or black. He needed a woman’s touch.

“I’m going to hop in the shower. Look around, then I’ll walk you out.”

I stepped over to him. “Jeff, if you don’t have anything planned, you can hang with me.” My finger swept across his pink lips. “I’m not ready to be out of your presence.”

  He smiled.

  “Sounds good. Make yourself comfortable.”

  ~

Strolling down the hall, I weaved in and out of the bedrooms and bathrooms.

I stepped into his tan custom closet. He had more suits then I realized. All his clothes are expensive. I felt a kiss on my neck.

  “Everything all right?”

  “Yes.”

Leaning against the large dresser in the middle of the closet, I watched his tatted, muscular frame stroll around his closet. I slid open a thin drawer lined with watches and one silver necklace with a cross.

“Jeff, do you ever wear this necklace?”

  “No.”

  “Why?”

“My mother gave it to me.”

“Are you afraid you will loss it?”

  “Maybe.”

  “Oh, ok.”

I hated seeing the sadness that filled his eyes when I mentioned the necklace. It didn’t take Jeff long to get dressed. He wore a gray blazer, navy and white stripped sweater over a white dress shirt, jeans, and white sneakers. His sexiness only made me want to peel off his clothes, but we needed to leave.

  CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

  SIERRA

Jeff and I arrived at a beautiful spacious cottage nestled in a garden setting.

“Emoni,” I sang walking inside the cottage.

“Sierra love, I am so happy you are here!”

Her dark eyes stared Jeff up and down.

“Emoni, you remember Jeff from college?”

Emoni smiled warmly. “Yes. I do.”

  “Long time no see Jeff.”

“Hello Emoni. Good to see you.”

“I’m confused.” She pointed her finger at Jeff while gawking at me.

“Is this who I helped you dress up fo
r on your dates?” His eyes grew in size.

  “Yes, Emoni.”

I turned to Jeff. “I need to talk to Emoni while we discuss wedding plans. Have a seat at this table here. And I will be back soon.”

  “Yup.”

Shit, I could tell Jeff was upset I didn’t tell Emoni I was dating him.

Looping Emonis arm around mine, we strolled throughout the beautifully decorated cottage. “This is the perfect wedding venue.”

“Girl, I know you are not going to try and step around the elephant in the room.”

“No, I’m not. You’ve been helping me get ready to go on dates with Lindsay’s ex-husband. I didn’t learn until last week the Lindsay he spoke of was your old roommate.”

Her lips turned to the side.

“Emoni, I’m serious. I had no clue. However, I should have asked him early on since we both attended OU.”

She glanced over at me. “Girl, you didn’t want to tell me, for fear of what I would say.”

  “Yes.”

  “He’s damaged Sierra.”

Her words cut me like a knife. Jeff recently admitted he was broken.

“Emoni, I know he is damaged. He told me.”

“I feel sorry for him. He’s a very handsome man who married the wrong woman. He was loyal to a fault mainly because of the kids.”

“I understand that. I was too with Jeremy.”

We halted. Emoni turned to me. “Sierra, I think you will be the woman to fix him. You are a wonderful person with a beautiful soul, who deserves to be happy.”

“Thank you Emoni,” I hugged her tight.

“Let’s talk décor.” We continued our walk.

Thirty minutes later, we made our way back over to Jeff.

“Jeff, I am happy you are dating my best friend. I told her I know the kind of guy you are. You both deserve happiness.”

Jeff shook Emoni’s hand. “Thank you Emoni.”

  JEFF

I couldn’t believe Sierra didn’t tell Emoni we were dating.

We sat in silence eating lunch at a nice restaurant in downtown Portland.

“Jeff, how long are you going to go without talking to me?”
