Impossible (to Resist) Boss: Billionaire Romance

by Arabella Quinn

I hadn’t worn any panties to work since our dinner with Mr. Tanaka when he’d ordered me to stop wearing them. I slipped off my skirt and stood before him in only my high heels.

He took his time to study me appreciatively. “Very nice, Lila.”

When he was satisfied, he lifted me up by the waist and sat me on my desk. “Now spread your legs so I can see your pussy.”

Mr. Cane sat in my office chair while I slowly opened my legs on the desk.

“Touch yourself. Play with your pussy. I want to watch.”

I wanted him to be the one touching me, but I was eager to please him, so I began to slide my fingers around my slippery clit and rhythmically caressing my pussy.

Stroking myself, splayed out on my desk, under the bright fluorescent lights while Mr. Cane watched was more erotic than I could have imagined, and soon my breath was coming in shallow gulps. My body was demanding release, and if I didn’t stop soon, I knew I wouldn’t last much longer. I was close to exploding. My fingers moved almost frantically to that end.

“Stop. That’s enough for now. You may get dressed.” Mr. Cane stood up.

My eyes widened with surprise even as my fingers reluctantly obeyed his command. I just couldn’t stop now!

A moan of despair tore from my throat. “Please, Mr. Cane.”

He raised an eyebrow. “Yes, Lila?”

  “Please, you can’t. I need…”

Mr. Cane lifted a hand and began idly playing with my nipple, heightening the torture. “What do you need, Lila?”

He tweaked my nipple hard and a jolt of pure sexual energy surged through me. My body was on fire for him. “Please fuck me.”

He pulled me off the desk and turned me around so fast that I was dizzy. “Spread your legs.”

Trembling with desire, I did as he asked. His arm pushed me forward, bending me over until my upper body was lying on the desk; my cheek was resting against the cool laminate top right next to my mouse pad.

He took so much time, watching me in this prone position that my legs would have buckled if the desk hadn’t been propping me up. After what seemed an eternity, he took out his cock and sunk it into my aching pussy.

He began slamming into me, bringing me higher and higher. My screams of ecstasy were muffled by the sound of the vacuum cleaner, which was growing louder the closer it got.

  Chapter 12

It had been a slow Friday at work. My boss hadn’t been in the office all day, so it was quiet. And boring. I had known ahead of time that he’d be out, so I had smuggled in a paperback romance to peek at in case I got bored – just like old times.

I was done with writing. I had planned to write a second romance novel, but my enthusiasm quickly withered with the lack of positive response to Corporate Secrets. I had had such pie in the sky illusions for its success. I had even bought myself an eBook reader to celebrate the launch of my very first novel. Corporate Secrets was the only book currently downloaded to it. The e-reader was currently gathering dust, just like my author career, as I gravitated back to old-fashioned paperback books.

I shrugged off the long day of work as I stepped into my home and slid off my heels. As I had for the past week, as soon as my car keys hit the kitchen counter, I headed straight to my laptop and booted it up. I held my breath, always hopeful I’d see something different, as I pulled up my account and clicked on the ‘sales’ tab. I tried to deny it, but I couldn’t shake off the overwhelming feeling of disappointment when I stared at the pitiful number of sales. There was no change from yesterday. Or from the day before. For the week it had been published, still only six copies of Corporate Secrets had been sold.

One of those sales was from my mother. Another was probably from Becca. The others were most likely some of my mother’s friends. Only one person, maybe the only ‘true’ sale I had gotten, had left me a review.

The reviewer “would have given it negative stars” if they could, because it was such awful tripe. Luckily they couldn’t, they were forced to give it at least one star. That one star glowered at me, shaming me more than a scarlet letter could. No wonder no one was buying this book. Or maybe it was the cover. I had paid some guy I found on the internet ten bucks to make it, and I had to admit, it was kind of tacky looking.

I couldn’t keep blaming the awful sales on a bad review or lousy cover. I had to face the facts; I was not cut out to be a novelist. I might have been the world’s most prolific reader of cheesy romance, but I obviously didn’t know how to write them.

The experience wasn’t a total waste of time. Writing it had been great. It had kept me occupied, and I felt a lot of satisfaction with actually sticking with it and accomplishing something. Publishing it had been the disaster. I had spent over a week researching how to make the book available to the public; it had been a colossal waste of time. I hadn’t been looking for money or fame. I had just wanted one person to read my book and enjoy it, but obviously that wasn’t going to happen.

So, moving forward, I needed to focus on my career. If I was bored at work, I needed to demand more responsibility. I had to demonstrate initiative and show my true worth. Helping Jason avoid the public relations catastrophe that he’d been about to step in was exactly the kind of thing I needed to keep doing. My boss, the CEO of the company, was slowly learning my true value and potential. That’s what I needed to focus on.

I turned away from the disappointing information on my laptop screen and poured myself a glass of wine. As I began preparing a light dinner for myself, my mind wandered back to my boss. We seemed to have a mutual respect growing between us. In the past week, a few days he had even sent me home on time- while he stayed longer. Even our interactions seemed less hostile. On a couple of rare occasions, he had even smiled at me.

I frowned. Suddenly, I wondered if maybe he’d always been like that. Maybe I’d been the one who’d been reflexively hostile. Perhaps writing the novel had helped me work through my feelings. I did know that it forced me to view him more as a person not just a boss. Now, I could see that he was under tremendous pressure. Rumors were circulating that the company was not doing well financially. The burden of responsibility that lay on his shoulders had to be enormous.

A soft chime issued from my laptop distracting the train of my thoughts. Curious, I carried my wine glass over to the small kitchen table and sat in front of the laptop screen. I clicked through the open tabs until I located the cause for the sound.

It was from my e-mail account – or rather, from Portia Wainwright’s e-mail. Since it was only a week old account, the inbox was fairly empty. Not even much spam had reached the inbox yet. No new e-mail had come in, so why did I get an alert?

Then I saw the pop-up box in the lower corner of the screen. I maximized the window, realizing it was a chat box. Annoyed that I’d forgotten to disable the chat function, I was about to close the window, when I saw new text appear.

  >Portia? Are you there? Just wanted to let you know that I loved your book Corporate Secrets.

Frozen, I stared at the screen for a few moments. Someone had actually read my book? And liked it? No, they loved it. I debated for a few seconds, but couldn’t resist typing a reply.

  >Thank you. That means a lot.

I took a sip of wine, feeling a sense of contentment. Someone had enjoyed my book after all.

  >Are you working on a sequel?

Before I could reply, another message popped up.

  >My name is Jane by the way. I’m a really big fan of yours.

I chuckled; she was probably the only fan I had. Still, I felt a warm glow of satisfaction.

  >Thanks, Jane. No, I’m not working on a sequel at the moment…

  Her reply came quickly.

  >I have to know what happens with Mr. Cane and Lila!!! The suspense is killing me.

I finished the wine in my glass wondering how in the world to answer her politely, but she didn’t seem to be waiting for an answer.

  >The scenarios between them in the book were s
o HOT! How do you think of them?

Jane wrote like a young girl, but she was probably just a lonely middle-aged woman. I was glad Becca had told me to use a pen name. This way I didn’t feel too worried about chatting with complete strangers. For all I knew, Jane could actually be a man.

  >I guess I just have a writer’s imagination

A few minutes went by and I thought maybe she’d logged off, but then a new message appeared in the chat box.

  > What was your favorite scene to write?

I squirmed in my seat. This question seemed a little too personal. Still, I was virtually anonymous. What could it hurt?

  >My favorite was the scene where Lila gives Mr. Cane a blowjob hidden under the desk during the executive’s meeting. Mr. Cane always had the upper hand and in that one scene Lila finally had the ultimate control.

I waited for Jane’s response, hoping she wasn’t offended by the word blowjob and then remembered that she loved my book, which quite literally contained one erotic sex act after another.

  > Oh my God. That’s one of my favorites too. I also loved the one where Mr. Cane punishes Lila for not getting the report done on time. Where he orders her to strip down and then he fucks her on her own desk. In fact, just the other day I was thinking about that scene when I was at work.

That scene, along with a few others, had played daily in my head for weeks.

  >That’s a good scene, too. I agreed.

I got up from my chair and refilled my wine glass as I waited to see if Jane would reply.

  >I’ve read the book over twenty times now. I can picture everything you wrote so clearly in my mind’s eye. It was like I was right there with you. I picture Lila as about 5 foot 7 – closer to 5 foot 10 in her work heels. She has wavy brown hair with golden highlights that she sometimes wears straight. She’s got a cute upturned nose and deep blue eyes that she uses smoky makeup to emphasize. She’s also got amazing tits – probably a D cup – and a curvy ass. Am I right?

Wow. Jane was right on target. I tried to remember what detail I put into the book, but couldn’t off-hand.

  > Yeah, that’s about right!

  > How about Mr. Cane? What does he look like?

I was sure that I’d thoroughly described Mr. Cane in the book, but to be polite I answered anyway.

  >Mr. Cane is every woman’s fantasy. Tall, dark and smoldering hot. He oozes sex appeal. He’s got the looks of a Greek god and a body to die for… Including his huge cock.

  >12 incher, would you say?

  >Oh my. Maybe.

I giggled as I took a gulp of my wine. Thinking about my boss’s cock was certainly not something new for me.

  >Is Mr. Cane modeled after someone you know?

What could it hurt to admit the truth?

  >He’s exactly like my real life boss

Maybe that answer was a mistake, because it seemed to give her permission of sorts to dig into my private life.

  >Do you fantasize about doing these things with your boss?

Her question hit too close to home. I knew I had to reel her back a bit.

  >I have a very professional relationship with my boss

Before I could finish typing, a new message came in from Jane.

  > Would you have an affair with your boss in real life?

  > That would be a terrible move for my career, wouldn’t it? I answered.

Boy, was I thanking my lucky stars that I didn’t use my real name. Just one obsessed fan could cause loads of trouble.

  >But, would you like it if he did those things to you?

I was starting to get uncomfortable with Jane’s persistence.

  >Jane, this was just a work of fiction

A new message from Jane popped up.

  >Do you wear panties to work?

It was time to put an end to my little chat with my obsessed fan. I wasn’t sure if this type of thing was common from fans, but I was getting a little bit of a creepy vibe from this woman.

  >Jane, I have to run now. It was nice chatting with you.

  >OK. Tell Becca that I said hello

I was about to close out the chat, when my heart skipped a beat.

  >Wait…how do you know I’m friends with Becca?

  >From the dedication page: This novel is dedicated to my dear friend, Becca. Without her support, this novel would have never happened. Here’s to kitties and roosters! ---I have it memorized :)

  >Oh, right. OK. Bye, Jane.

I clicked off before she could respond and closed my laptop. I needed to stop thinking about Corporate Secrets and concentrate on my career.

I was leaving for Miami Monday evening right after work, so I needed to spend the weekend getting packed and prepared. I had a mani-pedi and a bikini wax scheduled for tomorrow. And Sunday, I planned to do some shopping to freshen up my wardrobe. I’d asked a colleague who’d been to the annual meetings before about the dress code. I’d need to bring business clothes for the all day meetings and something more formal for the awards dinner. I wanted to look professional.

Even though the weather looked hot, humid and downright gorgeous in Miami, I didn’t think I’d see much of the sun. The schedule was packed tight.

But as I visualized the palm trees in Miami, the cool blue water and white sand, another image pushed itself into my brain. It was of Jason Kaine - gliding through the clear blue water.

I’d die to see him in a swimsuit - and to see what was under that swimsuit. A 12-incher. My face flamed with heat. What was wrong with me? I was turning a new page. I was not going to think of Jason Kaine like that anymore. It must have been that stupid conversation with Jane that got me all worked up.

I had to keep my sexual feelings in check. Good thing I wouldn’t see a lick of him at the meeting in Miami anyway. Maybe I’d see him from afar at the awards ceremony as he presented the employee awards. But, other than that, I would be busy in meetings all day. Those meetings were sure to be as dry as toast, but I was determined to get as much as I could out of them.

  Corporate Secrets

It was early evening when Mr. Cane summoned me into his office. My heart started pounding furiously in my chest. Usually, it was those end-of-the-day summons that turned out to be the most interesting…

When he asked me to close the door behind me, I knew. My palms grew sweaty with anticipation.

“Lila, I’ve had a very stressful day.”

“I’m sorry to hear that, Mr. Cane.” I moved to his bar cart and prepared him a drink just the way he liked it. “Would it help relieve some stress if I rubbed your shoulders?”

He smiled. “Yes, I think that would help tremendously.”

I handed the drink to him and then circled around his desk until I was behind his chair. I massaged his shoulders, wishing my fingers weren’t separated from his strong muscles by the crisp white material of his shirt. He closed his eyes and relaxed as my fingers kneaded into the knots at the base of his neck.

I worked continuously for about ten minutes until he stopped me. He swiveled in his chair until he was facing me. “Thank you, Lila. That was terrific.”

I stood unmoving for a few moments, growing disappointed at his continued silence. Surely he wasn’t dismissing me?

“Maybe I can relax you more?” It was a bold thing to say, but I was desperate. I had been hoping all day that he’d call me into his office. I had been hoping for more. Far more.

The quirk of his eyebrow told me he was interested. “How is that?”

“Well…” I began unbuttoning my blouse. “First, I’ll remove this.”

When he didn’t stop me, I finished unbuttoning and then slid it off, allowing it to drop to the ground.

  “Go on.”

That was all the encouragement I needed. Within moments, I unhooked my bra and let it slide to the ground. Next, I was stepping out of my skirt. I wriggled my hips slightly more than necessary and made sure he got a good look at my cleavage as I bent down. From the bulge in his pants, I could see that I had his full
attention.

Smiling secretly to myself, I slinked onto his lap so that I was straddling him and looped my arms around his neck. “Are you still feeling stressed?”

Before he could answer, a loud knock sounded at the door. Mr. Cane lifted me by the waist and slid me off his lap as he stood. “I’m sorry, Lila. I forgot to mention. I’m meeting with the senior staff for the executive’s meeting right now. We’re having it right here, in my office.”

My eyes were wide with shock. “Here? Right now? But… I’m not dressed.”

He headed straight for the door and showed no signs of stopping. “Hmm. That’s certainly awkward.”

I dove to the floor behind the desk and scrambled underneath it, scooping up my errant clothes on the way, just as the first person entered the office. From the voices greeting each other as they entered, at least four men were in Mr. Cane’s office for the meeting.

I was scrunched up in a ball, tucked safely under the desk and hidden from their sight. After the men chatted for a few minutes, they got down to business. Mr. Cane pulled up the office chair and sat behind his desk, offering me even less room to maneuver.

Part of the cat and mouse game that we played was enhanced by the very real danger of getting caught. I certainly didn’t want to be caught now. But, neither did Mr. Cane.

So, when my hand began sliding up his pant leg, a small twitch of surprise was the only thing that could let on to our little secret. It wasn’t difficult unzipping his pants, but I drew it out far longer than necessary. By the time I had his cock freed from his pants, it was rock hard and glistening with pre-cum.

It was trickier craning my head close to his cock, but worth the struggle. When my lips slid around his hard shaft, the stutter in his words was undeniable, but now wasn’t the time to show him any mercy...

  Chapter 13

Jason glanced at the man sitting across from him in his office and tried not to reveal his contempt. Ever since Bill Travers had questioned Lilliana’s loyalty, he’d begun to despise the man. Now, Bill was ready to set out his trap for her, and Jason was quietly seething with anger.
