Blown Away

Candy had shed her clothing and repositioned the white panties up her legs. The sheer lace did little to hide the dark triangle of hair, but it hugged tightly to her behind and alluringly let the crease between her legs peek out from under the minimalist boy shorts.
Lenore drew a bra out from behind her back. It clearly matched the panties.
“Hand it over.” Candy had wiggled her fingers in exaggerated impatience at Lenore, then slipped it on. It was perfect.
The pushup material covered all but the tops of her aureoles, which were tantalizingly glimpsed through more delicate lace. The naturally dusky skin of her muscled arms and stomach made a shocking contrast to the angelic white material, and when Dani revealed a pair of white sheer stockings complete with garters in her pocket, Candy had been inclined to give a high five to both women.
“Okay, you guys rock.” Candy had smoothed the material up her legs and fastened the garters in place. “All I need now is…” Candy hadn’t even finished the sentence before a pair of size seven white stilettos―the sexiest she’d ever seen―were thrust into her hands.
The afternoon and early evening hours had ticked by slowly, but Candy hung around in the kitchen watching Absu, with Charlie’s help, prepare the feast for after the ceremony.
True to keeping Charlie in the dark, she wasn’t told what the festivities were about―not being privy to anything “gods”―but was informed it was some kind of weird initiation thing this group of agents did when bringing a new operative into their fold.
Charlie and Ken had been told to leave the compound for a couple of hours, with Ken planning to bring Mom and daughter to the Boston Aquarium. When they returned, they would join the celebratory feast.
Candy looked at the crown roast going into the oven to slow cook. It looked incongruous next to the meatless lasagna, but the vegetarians needed to eat too. And they’d have plenty to sate themselves upon tonight with the plethora of roast veggies that would be going in the adjacent oven to brown and crisp.
Charlie, with Candy sending a finger into the bowl when the woman wasn’t looking, finished preparing a huge tray of cream puffs for dessert. She finally removed her apron. “I guess it’s time to find Maity and Ken so we can be off.”
Candy looked at the clock. Shit. It was time for her to get ready. “Gotta go too.” She took one final suck on her finger and pulled herself away from the food and headed for the door.
“So right,” Absu agreed, also removing his apron. “It is time to don finery and make our way to the ceremonial chambers.”

The gods arrived first, and Enlil―looking around for Candy―was confused. This was not the way things were normally done. Where was his Chosen?
Solid gold torques and armbands glinted in the light thrown off by many candles as the only sources of illumination, and loincloths shimmered with inlaid gems. Silence descended on the chamber as Enlil made his way to the front.
He dressed plainly and walked barefoot. His only adornment became the amulet he was about to share. Marduk would do the honors as his best man and wield the osmium blade that would separate Enlil’s flesh, baring the talisman within, then he would slice it in two for Candy to receive her half.
Enlil turned his head to the stone table near the front of the room and his brows came together in consternation. And where exactly was Candy? She should have been on the slab next to his, prone and deep in an anesthetized sleep, with Dr. Dani standing over her, waiting to implant the amulet. He turned his eyes to Marduk, and sure enough, his best man was clearly discomfited.
Spectators took their seats one by one and silence descended.
“What…” Enlil mouthed, only to follow Marduk’s gaze to the door now opening in the rear.
The goddesses filed in, and in their midst walked Candy, a vision in a flowing white robe that wafted about her, sheer and alluring. The immortal women dropped off into seats, but his bride continued to the front.
He was startled when Marduk put a hand to his shoulder and urged him to place his back against the upright altar stone. Enlil complied, still puzzled over what was happening with Candy. What were they waiting for? He wished they’d put her under anesthesia so the ceremony could get underway. He wasn’t keen on standing here all night, anticipating the bite of the knife.
Once Enlil was in position, Candy brazenly strode closer and grappled for the fastening of her gown. She tugged it loose and the material fell, pooling at her feet. Enlil’s breath caught in his throat. His Chosen was magnificent; her loveliness unsurpassed. Far from being jealous that her form stood before the room, nearly naked, pride filled his gut. Let his brothers look upon the beauty of his woman standing before them. Candy was his…just as he was hers.
When she stepped toward him and made a place for herself to his left on the altar, Enlil’s tongue suddenly became useless in his mouth. What was she doing? Where was Dani-Lee and the knock out drug?
Candy picked up and entwined her right hand with his. Her voice came out low, but not just for his ears. She held the attention of everyone in the room.
“When I found out what you would go through for me today, I couldn’t be asleep and unaware of your pain. I asked the goddesses how things had gone in the past…the ancient past…before there was modern medicine to put a mate under, and they had no answer. So, we called Queen Ereshkigal, who told us the Chosen to a god used to stand next to him on the altar and receive the amulet in the same way it was removed.”
She looked up into Enlil’s eyes. “I decided I would do this for you today to prove the depths of my love. Enlil, you are my life, my future, and the very air I breathe. You make me proud to be yours.”
Enlil was still unable to speak, but his eyes filled with tears. He squeezed Candy’s hand and placed his other on the grip at his shoulder. Candy, watching, did the same.
“Are you ready?” Marduk approached with the knife, and at Enlil’s nod, ancient chanting filled the room.
Candy was vaguely aware that the king and queen had joined the assemblage, and were standing hand in hand at the back of the room. A bit of leather was thrust between her teeth, and she blinked in fascination as Enlil bit down onto his. Marduk cut deeply into her man’s shoulder. She winced, but Enlil made no noise.
The glow from the uncovered amulet called to Candy as sweat beaded up on Enlil’s face and neck. His hand crushed hers as the embedded talisman was split. But now, the only thing Candy could hear or see was the red glow, calling to her.
She wanted the plunge of the knife. She needed it. If Marduk didn’t cut her now, she’d go mad.
He lowered the strap of her bra where it impeded the site. The knife came forward and Candy cried out with the first cut; not in pain…but in ecstasy. Her skin and muscle opened easily and she gasped as the fiery charm was eased into place.
Oh gods. She felt him. She felt Enlil immediately. It was as if he was in her mind, in her body. Joining with her, filling her up.
As the twin amulets started beating and regenerating their ghostly second halves, Candy’s libido rose and her pussy clenched. She felt every bit of her inner channel being caressed and stroked, and stood shuddering next to her god.
Moisture pooled between her legs and without warning an orgasm hit. It smacked her with such intensity that Candy screamed out her completion. Her pussy contracted and clenched, giving her more pleasure than she ever imagined possible.
And coming down? Oddly, she was not the least bit embarrassed. She’d just had the most incredible climax of her life. One that had left her limp, breathless, and all she could think of was…more.
Enlil knew what had happened. She looked into his eyes, and they glowed. His shoulder healed as Candy watched, and she didn’t have to look down to know hers had done the same.
Enlil spit the leather strap from between his teeth―Candy had long since lost hers―and he turned her in his arms. Enlil brought his head down and crushed her lips under his in an earth-shattering kiss.
&
nbsp; His cock lay large and hungry against her belly, and she wanted him more than she’d ever wanted anyone or anything in her entire life. He could take her then and there, against this rock, and she’d let him. She was more than ready.
Marduk was quick to catch the vibe. “Everybody upstairs quickly,” he ordered. The thunder god insinuated himself into the crowd and made shooing gestures with his hands. “Food will be waiting, and the happy couple will be joining us,” he glanced back as Enlil hooked his fingers into the top of Candy’s panties, “later.”
There was laughter and catcalls from the gods and goddesses as Marduk herded everyone into the hallway fast.
Candy barely registered Lenore’s voice, low and seductive, with a definite pout to it, cut through the heightened silence.
“No fairs. Is there any way Anshar and I can have a do-over?”
Epilogue
Charlie didn’t know how it happened. One second Maitlynn had ahold of her hand, and the next second a splash resounded, and a truncated cry. Maity was face down in a pool of starfish.
A dark-haired woman appeared out of nowhere, swooped in to grab Maity under the arms, and hauled her free of the tank.
If the stranger hadn’t been so fast, there was no doubt that Maitlynn’s next breath would have resulted in her lungs filling with water.
Her daughter wailed until she was wrapped securely in Charlie’s shaking arms. Ken surrounded the two with his big warm body, then Charlie turned to the rescuing angel.
“Oh my God. Thank you, thank you.” She hugged her daughter and somehow managed to grip the woman’s hand at the same time.
“We’re very lucky you were here.” Charlie laughed and cried. “Don’t leave until I get your name and number. I need to thank you properly, and I think you’re going to be my new best friend.”
The stranger laughed. “I’d like that very much.”
After writing her information on a small piece of paper, the dark-haired woman turned to wave, then joined a man who lingered next to the sharks.
