Lucas moaned appreciatively at Brandon’s fingertips massaging his scalp. “You don’t like the beanie?” he whispered.

“I don’t like any of your hats because they hide your hair and you wore a hat all fucking weekend.”

Lucas started laughing, but Brandon refocused him by tugging on the hem of his T-shirt. They both worked to get it off, and once Lucas was free, Brandon ran his hands all over his firm chest and hard abs.

“Oh my God, I can’t believe I finally get to touch this too,” he murmured.

Lucas moaned when Brandon pinched his nipples. Lucas brought his hand back down to both of their cocks, and holding them, started stroking and rubbing them together.

“Oh… oh… fuck,” Brandon hissed. He reached up and clung to Lucas’s bare shoulders, hoping he didn’t break skin.

They both were panting and cursing. Lucas’s grip on their cocks suddenly got tighter, and he leaned into Brandon so hard the door rattled. His body jerked and he cried out as he came. “Fuck, fuck fuck,” he yelled.

Brandon didn’t even feel any pain from the door as his body shuddered and released with a force he had never felt before.

They leaned on each other as their breathing calmed down.

“We didn’t even make it to the bed,” Brandon lamented.

  “Oh, that’s next,” Lucas breathed.

WHEN THEY finally pulled apart, both of them shucked their pants and briefs. Lucas went into the bathroom and came back swiping at his stomach with a washcloth.

Brandon watched him from the bed, taking in his amazing body. “I know you hate broccoli, but your body is so beautiful, perfect and sexy hot.”

Lucas made a goofy face, but he looked happy. “You think so, hmmm? Well, I happen to think you’re just as beautiful and sexy.”

“You don’t have to say that just because I said it to you.”

Lucas narrowed his eyes at him. “I actually said it first, last night!”

Brandon frowned and tried to figure out what he meant. Lucas crawled onto the bed and right on top of Brandon, covering his whole body. He grinned as he left little kisses up Brandon’s chest and neck, stopping only to look down at Brandon.

“After you took my pants off, I was asking where you went? And I kept saying how fucking hot you were?”

Brandon blanched. “I thought you were complaining that you were hot under the covers!”

Lucas’s body shook with laughter as he lowered his forehead to Brandon’s chest. “I am a complete failure at seduction!”

“Well, I wouldn’t say that. I mean, look at where we are. You did something right.”

Lucas sputtered as he stopped laughing. “Nope, this is all because of your friend and the liquid courage.”

Brandon shifted his head to look down at Lucas. “What friend? Wait, do you mean Michael?”

“Every time he talked to you or touched you it made me so bloody jealous! And I’m still not sure I would have acted on the jealousy if I hadn’t had so much alcohol in my system.”

Now it was Brandon’s turn to laugh.

“It’s not funny. I wanted to rip his fucking head off. Forget going back to the tour, I would have been in jail for murder.”

Brandon tried to stop laughing, but he kept dissolving into another fit every time he thought of Lucas going after Michael.

  “Stop it!” Lucas admonished.

When Brandon busted out with more laughter, Lucas bit down on his nipple. Hard.

“Ow!” Brandon cried. “Ah… ohhhhh… ummmm….” He sighed in pleasure, laughter all forgotten.

Lucas licked and nibbled the nipple until it was taut and hard. Then he gave the same attention to the other, eliciting more moans from Brandon. Finally he worked his way down Brandon’s chest with his mouth and tongue, cleaning and licking up all of the dried cum.

“Lucas…,” Brandon breathed, as his abdomen rippled and shuddered from the attention.

When Lucas made it to Brandon’s cock, it was more than half-hard and ready for round two. Lucas licked and sucked on the head, swirling his tongue around. From the humming and happy slurping sounds Lucas was making, he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself.

  “Oh fuck,” Brandon sighed.

Lucas opened his throat and slowly drew Brandon’s cock in, as deep as he could, almost making it to the root. Brandon yelled something and his hips bucked, forcing his cock in farther. Lucas backed off and breathed through his nose before going down again. He laved and sucked Brandon’s cock until Brandon was tugging on Lucas’s hair.

“Shit,” he breathed. “I almost came.”

Lucas crawled back up Brandon’s body, a predatory look in his eye. He lowered his hips so their hard cocks rubbed against each other. Brandon moaned.

“Harris, can I fuck you? Please? I just… I need to fuck you so bloody bad.”

Lucas’s eyes were so dark and pleading. Brandon’s molten body couldn’t resist even if he wanted to. His hole clenched involuntarily, sending more heat to his cock, which was already ready to boil over.

  “Oh God, yes, yes, yes.”

Lucas had leaned down to kiss Brandon when Brandon remembered he didn’t have any condoms or lube.

  “I didn’t bring anything with me though….”

Lucas flashed him a sexy grin. “No worries. I brought some.”

He left the bed momentarily to grab his duffel. He came back with a condom and lube bottle.

“Do you know how to…. I mean, have you ever done this before?” Brandon asked carefully.

Lucas ripped the condom package with his teeth and pulled the condom out. “I’m in the closet. It doesn’t mean I’ve been a total monk, love.”

After he put the condom on, he leaned over Brandon again so that their faces were together. “I’ve never wanted anyone as much as I do you, though,” he whispered before he kissed Brandon.

The kiss heated quickly as their tongues tangled and tasted and tried to get deeper. Lucas finally pulled away. “Fuck,” he said. “I almost came from that kiss.”

He moved between Brandon’s legs and picked up the lube bottle. Soon Brandon felt Lucas’s slick, wet finger massaging his entrance, teasing and rubbing.

“Go, go, come on, Lucas… unnngghhh!” he cried as Lucas followed his request and slipped his whole finger in.

He took his time and worked Brandon open slowly. Brandon, on the other hand, was quickly going out of his mind. He started begging and pleading to no avail.

“Goddammit, Lucas, please!” he finally cried.

Lucas removed his fingers and slicked up his cock. Kneeling over, he entered Brandon as gently as he could, taking time to make sure Brandon was okay.

“Bugger, fuck, fuck fuck!” Lucas shouted as he halted movement.

“I thought we said no more stopping,” Brandon whined.

“I almost came, you’re so fucking tight,” Lucas wheezed.

Brandon moaned and cursed and gripped the headboard rails. When Lucas was finally inside Brandon completely, he stilled again, leaning his head on Brandon’s chest and going quiet.

Brandon ran his fingers through Lucas’s hair. “Hey, are you okay?”

Lucas nodded, not ready to look up at Brandon. “Just feels… so fucking good….” He groaned.

A second later he leaned up on his arms and shifted his hips. Brandon’s eyes rolled back in his head as he called out something unintelligible.

They both started moving faster then, bodies slick and sweaty. Brandon locked his legs around Lucas’s hips, trying to urge him deeper. The headboard banged against the wall, but both of them were too consumed to even care.

Brandon’s nerve endings felt twitchy and hot everywhere, as Lucas moved in and out and in again, over and over, deeper and deeper, until he didn’t think he could take any more.

Lucas’s hand was shaking as he reached to stroke Brandon’s cock.

It only took one touch and Brandon was vibrating with his release and squeezing Lucas’s cock like a vise.

“Lucas, oh my fucking… oh God, Lucas!” Brandon cried out.

Lucas gave an answering yell and let go, finally, his hips jerking and spasming, until he was completely spent.

“Bloody hell, oh fuck, ohhhhhhhh…. God.” He sighed as he collapsed on top of Brandon. “Oh Brandon, oh love…,” he rasped.

Their bodies were plastered together, but Brandon had never been happier or felt so spent. It took him a few seconds to register that Lucas had just called him by his first name, for the first time this weekend.

THEY BOTH were exhausted but managed to get rid of the condom and clean up enough before sinking into the soft bed. Lucas wrapped his body around Brandon and nuzzled into his neck with a contented sigh. “So fucking hot,” he mumbled.

Brandon smiled and tried not to think about what the morning would bring.

  Chapter Nine

WHEN BRANDON awoke, he still felt Lucas’s heavy weight next to him. That was a good sign. He closed his eyes again, remembering last night. Remembering the whole weekend. How crazy and topsy-turvy everything had gone. From a planned, simple weekend at home, to a three-day road trip and sex with a rock star. Except… that had been more than just sex last night.

Lucas shifted next to him and nuzzled into his back. “Morning, love.”

Brandon really liked this new nickname. He turned over in Lucas’s arms.

  “Morning,” he whispered.

“Any chance that it’s not morning yet?”

Brandon smiled sadly. “Um, I don’t think so.”

  “What time is it?”

Brandon checked the clock. “Eight thirty.”

“I suppose we have to get going soon.”

Brandon swallowed hard. He really didn’t want to answer Lucas. But he knew he had to.

  “Yeah, we probably should.”

  There was silence.

“Thank you,” Lucas said quietly. “For last night.”

Brandon blinked to hold back tears. He was afraid to speak around the lump in his throat so he simply nodded in response, hoping Lucas could feel the movement.

They lay there entwined, in the silence for another ten minutes, Lucas’s grip tightening.

Eventually, it was Lucas who made the first move. He didn’t say a word, just got out of the bed and headed into the bathroom.

Brandon shivered as the cold air hit his warm skin like a slap of reality. A few minutes later he heard the toilet flush and then the shower turn on. He knew he needed to get up too, but he didn’t want to move.

When the bathroom door opened, he hoped to get one more look at Lucas Black in just a towel, or better yet, no towel at all. But he was disappointed when Lucas came out fully dressed in jeans and a T-shirt.

After his shower, he came out into the hotel room to see Lucas standing in front of the window, stock-still, staring outside.

Brandon watched him for a few minutes, then turned away and finished packing his bag. He didn’t like that Lucas wasn’t talking. Sure, they’d probably never see each other again once they parted ways today, but that was no reason to just act like Brandon wasn’t there. Or that nothing had happened between them.

When it was time to go, they walked out of the room without a word, the heavy door clanging shut behind them.

LUCAS CHECKED them out, and then they found the Jeep in the parking garage. As they clicked their seat belts, Brandon paused, feeling the need to say something, but when he looked at Lucas, all words left him. He didn’t know what to say in their situation. Maybe that’s why Lucas was so silent.

“So… where are you playing tonight? At US Bank Arena?”

  “Yeah,” Lucas answered.

“Okay, I can drop you there and then head to my parents’ house.” Brandon started the car and got ready to back out.

“How long will it take to get to Cincinnati?”

Brandon shrugged. “As long as traffic is good, it’ll probably be an hour and a half or so.”

  “Oh.”

Brandon felt the awkward silence. “Is that okay?”

“Well, I don’t really need to be there that early. Sound check isn’t until four. Can I just hang at your house until then?”

Brandon tried not to look freaked. “Well, you can… but you know, the barbecue will be going on in our backyard. Tons of family there, you sure you want to deal with that? I mean, I love my extended family, but most of the time I’m not even sure I want to be there.”

Lucas could only manage a tired smile. “It’ll be fine.”

THEY HIT the road, and neither of them said a word. Brandon kept expecting Lucas to hook up the iPod and blast some music, but he didn’t.

Lucas fiddled with his phone and laid his head against the seat as he stared out at the landscape.

BRANDON HAD never been so happy to make it to his parents’ house. The silence thing was really a drag.

He let himself and Lucas into the house with his key. “Hello!” he called out.

There was a squeal from the kitchen. “Doodlebug!” a female voice called out.

Lucas looked at Brandon with amusement. Brandon rolled his eyes in answer, causing Lucas to chuckle.

About that time, Brandon’s mom came out from a doorway and crossed over to where they were standing.

“There’s my doodlebug, finally!” She opened her arms and Brandon gave her a big hug and kiss. “Oh, that’s my baby. I’m so glad you made it in time.”

She turned to Lucas, and Brandon started to introduce him, but she waved Brandon off.

“And you must be the famous Lucas Black, who kidnapped my son!”

Lucas had a hand outstretched but froze, looking a little scared and uncomfortable.

She slapped his hand away. “I’m just kidding, sweetie. Come here. Welcome to our home!” She wrapped Lucas up in her arms and gave him a big hug. She held him for a few beats as if she knew he needed a hug. His whole body relaxed, and a smile of relief crossed his face.

When they broke apart, she looked pointedly at Brandon. “Now did you warn him about your sister?”

  “Not exactly.”

She nodded and turned again to Lucas, with a serious look on her face. “Brandon’s sister, my youngest, is about fifteen, and she has your picture plastered all over her walls. The family apologizes for her behavior in advance. I’m not sure how she’s going to react when she sees you, okay? But don’t worry, we’ll all surround you and provide a protective shield, if need be.”

Lucas raised his eyebrows and looked at Brandon questioningly, then back at Mrs. Harris with a smile. “I’m sure it will be fine.”

She took his arm and patted it as she smiled at him. “Come on back, we’re all in the kitchen or outside. You got here just in time. The food’s almost ready. Great-Uncle Bob and Margie aren’t here yet. Cousin Mary can’t make it. She’s got food poisoning or something….”

Brandon’s mom babbled all the way into the kitchen where the next person Lucas met was Brandon’s dad. He gave Brandon a big hug and shook Lucas’s hand. Lucas scored big points by telling him he heard he was the man responsible for Brandon’s excellent taste in music. They were still chatting when Brandon’s sister Julie walked in. As soon as she saw Lucas, she froze and let out a meep-like sound. Then she ran upstairs to her bedroom and shut the door. She came back twenty minutes later in a new shirt and with makeup on and her hair hanging down and curled. Lucas was so nice to her, especially once she calmed down and started firing twenty questions at him. Brandon caught his eye and mouthed a “thank you.” Lucas gave him a smile and a wink.

LUCAS STAYED for three hours, eating, of course, and hanging out with Brandon’s whole extended family. Some of the younger generation knew him, others didn’t, but everyone welcomed him and treated him as if he were part of the family.

A lot of the family wanted to talk to Brandon too, since most of them hadn’t seen him since his college graduation party. They wanted to know about his job, and living in Cleveland, and how he liked his new life. As a
result, Brandon didn’t really get to hang out much with Lucas, but Brandon tried to keep an eye on him, to make sure no one was bothering him too much. He noticed his mom checking on Lucas too, and taking care of him. Usually this involved plying him with more food.

When he finally got a free moment, he went over to Lucas. “Aren’t you regretting asking to stay now?” he said with a smirk.

Lucas looked sad, but he smiled at Brandon. “Nah. This is great. All of your family is so nice… and well, I never had much of this, you know.”

Brandon felt sad too at his words. “Do you want any more food?”

Lucas groaned. “Gods no! I’m stuffed to the gills!”

Brandon pretended to stagger back in shock. “Lucas Black, not hungry? Is the world ending?”

Lucas threw a strawberry at him. “Arsehole,” he muttered.

Brandon got pulled away again, and into the sea of family. About a half hour later, Lucas tapped him on the shoulder.

They went inside the house, and Lucas grabbed his bag and guitar. Brandon realized what that meant, and he reached in his pocket to grab his keys, but Lucas stopped him.

“Nah, mate. You’ve driven me around enough this weekend. I’ve got a car coming to pick me up.”

As if on cue, a black sedan pulled into the driveway.

  “Oh,” Brandon said.

“Thanks again, Harris, for everything. It was a weekend I’ll never forget,” Lucas said softly.

Brandon leaned up to give him one last kiss, but Lucas put up his hand to stop him. Hurt, Brandon pulled back.

“Okay… well, good luck with the rest of the tour. For what it’s worth, your new song is great. So much better than what you’re doing now, and if that’s the type of music you want to make, you should find a way to do it.”

Lucas shrugged and shook his head noncommittally, his jaw tensing. His phone buzzed, and he glanced out at the car.

“I gotta go. Take care, Harris.”

And with a slam of the screen door, he was gone. Brandon was left alone to stand and watch as Lucas got in the car and drove off.
