“Relax,” he whispered, placing his hand on Joshua’s chest.

He buried his face deep within his cheeks, inhaling his musky scent. He kissed him there, the same as he had done on his neck but Joshua’s reaction was even more extreme. One hand gripped Ezra’s hand on his chest and the other clenched the sheets.

  “Oh, God,” Joshua moaned.

His moans only urged Ezra even further. As he felt Joshua start to relax to his touch, he pulled back and let his spit hit him. Using one finger, he gently eased in the tip.

  “Relax,” he said again.

This time, he did and he let Ezra in. There was a little resistance at first but with more spit, he connected. Kissing the inside of Joshua’s thighs, he let him get used to the feeling. He was tight, tighter than Ezra had ever had. He didn’t want to hurt him, but something told him he’d take it like a man.

“Fuck me,” Joshua moaned, “do it.”

It was a demand, a raw and primal demand. A demand unbothered by sexuality or conflict. A demand from a man who was ready to give in to his desires. A demand from a man who knew what he really wanted.

He reached across Joshua, kissing him on the way. He yanked open his nightstand, pulling out the bottle of lube and an extra large condom.

Kneeling at the base of Joshua, he quickly rolled the condom down his shaft with a tight snap. Staring at Joshua’s virgin hole, he wished for the first time in his life that he wasn’t so big.

With a satisfying pop, he uncapped the lube and poured it against Joshua. He winced at the cold as Ezra massaged it around, catching it before it dripped away. He did the same to his own cock and it danced as he covered the shaft.

Carefully, he started to massage the lube into Joshua, relaxing him. With two fingers he got Joshua ready. He was panting and groaning as if begging him to do it but Ezra knew you couldn’t rush these things. You’ll thank me later.

He knew he’d never get Joshua to the point where he needed to be to not feel the pain. When he couldn’t hold back anymore, he lined the head up with Joshua, gently pushing in. The tip went in with no problem but both Joshua’s hands shot down to snatch up the covers.

“Fuck,” he panted through bated breaths, “go easy on me.”

“That’s just the tip,” he smirked down at him.

Leaving it where it was, he lunged and kissed Joshua. Taking the distraction, he pushed himself further in. Joshua’s hands slapped around his shoulders, nails digging into his already bruised and cut skin. The further he pushed, the deeper the nails went and the harder he kissed.

When he felt he was halfway in, he carefully slid out, pushing back in again. A soft whimper left Joshua but he didn’t ask to stop. Ezra had never let a guy fuck him, so he didn’t truly understand the pain but he’d fucked enough guys to know how to handle them.

“You okay?” he broke from the kiss.

“Mmmhmmm,” he nodded through clenched eyes.

Ezra consumed him in a kiss again, taking the chance to go in even deeper. When he felt Joshua suddenly starting to push against him, he felt an excitement deep within him that made him force in the rest.

Joshua yelped, tears running through his clenched eyes.

“Do you want me to stop?”

Joshua shook his head, not breathing.

“Breathe,” Ezra whispered into his ear.

Joshua gasped and started to force his breathing. Tucking his arms under Joshua’s back, he half cradled him as he carefully pulled his length out. He forced it back into another whimper but it wasn’t as loud. With each slow thrust, the whimpers turned to moans. The pain vanished from his throat to reveal the pleasure.

This was the moment Ezra lived for.

Pushing his mouth against Joshua’s but not kissing him, he started to fuck him. They held each other in their arms. It wasn’t how Ezra usually did things. In fact, he couldn’t ever remember facing somebody as he fucked them. He usually didn’t want to see their eyes, he just wanted to use them for his pleasure.

With Joshua, he wanted to look into his eyes. He wanted to know how he was making him feel. He wanted to share it with him. He didn’t want to be alone in the moment.

They rocked backwards and forward until the sweat was dripping from every inch on their body. Their skin stuck together in a clammy heat until Ezra felt his cock starting to twitch.

For the first time, he parted from Joshua to grip his legs high above his shoulder. Using them as handles, he fucked Joshua the only way he knew how, hard and fast.

If Joshua had been screaming in pleasure before, he was now roaring in pleasure. He sounded like he was trying to speak, but each pound into him turned those words to deep grunts within his hollow throat.

As Ezra felt himself reaching the moment of climax he did something he never did. He reached out and gripped Joshua’s cock firmly. He wanted to share the orgasm. He wanted them to reach that high together.

Jerking and fucking Joshua at the same time was too much for him. His face clenched, his body turned rigid and Ezra knew what was coming next. He sped up, feeling himself getting there. Closing his eyes, he let the feeling wash over him as he pumped into Joshua. Starting at his groin, it washed through him, electrifying every inch of his body. He stopped fucking and opened his eyes, not wanting to pull out. He watched as Joshua shot his load all over his own chest, his face in such a tight ball. Before he pulled out, he leaned into give Joshua one last kiss. If he was going to freak out and leave, at least they shared that together.

He collapsed onto the bed next to Joshua, his ribs poking through his abs as he struggled to regain his breath. After a couple of minutes of sharing the bliss, Joshua spoke.

“Why do I feel like I’ve never had sex before?”

“Because you’ve never had it with me,” Ezra smiled up at the ceiling.

He was going to tell Joshua that he felt the same but he didn’t want to ruin the moment. He didn’t want to say the words that were on the tip of his tongue in fear that it would send him over the tipping point.

After a quick shower, they climbed under the covers, flicked on a movie and fell asleep in each other’s arms. Forget the kissing and the chase, this was truly something Ezra had never done. It almost made him feel normal.

Joshua couldn’t remember the last time he’d woken up so content. As the early morning sun fluttered in through the linen curtains, he buried his face into Ezra’s chest with a groan. He was still fast asleep and he looked so peaceful that Joshua couldn’t disturb him. Slipping out from under his arm, he pulled his underwear on and headed down to the kitchen. It almost felt like he’d never left.

“Dude!” Felix was frying bacon on the stove, “Clothes!”

“I’m wearing clothes,” he peered over Felix’s shoulder, “Is there enough of that to go around?”

  “No.”

Joshua found the kettle and two mugs. As he waited for the water to boil, he scratched under his arm as he let out a huge yawn. The smell of coffee and bacon tingled his senses and he almost felt like he was living a normal life.

“You’re the first one to still be here in the morning,” Felix mumbled, “does Ezra know you’re still here?”

“Course,” the kettle pinged and he poured in the water, “does your brother have a lot of guys around here?”

The way Felix laughed answered the question for him.

“Not so much recently,” he said, “not for at least two weeks. You’re the first.”

“Is that unusual?” he suddenly didn’t like the thought of Ezra with other guys.

“A litte,” Felix scraped his almost burnt bacon onto a plate, “but it is June.”

Felix sat at the breakfast bar and propped himself up with his elbow as he scrolled through his phone.

“What’s special about June? Does he have an annual month off?” Joshua’s laugh was awkward.

He pulled milk from the over-stocked fridge as he waited for Felix to reply. He had the same look he’d had yesterday when he’d sai
d too much.

“I’m off to bed,” Felix stretched out.

  “You haven’t slept?”

“World of Warcraft,” he mumbled as he sloped off with his bacon.

  “G’night,” Joshua called after him.

Felix looked over his shoulder and laughed. With a shake of his head he left Joshua alone to stir in the milk. You couldn’t pay me to be seventeen again.

With two coffees in hand, he carefully made his way up to Ezra’s bedroom where Ezra was sitting up in bed. The sheets were pulled up over his stomach with his leg hanging out the side. Joshua’s eyes instantly wandered to the top of his thigh.

“I thought you’d done a runner,” Ezra rubbed his eyes.

“I made coffee,” he set the cup on Ezra’s nightstand, “not quite breakfast in bed but I can’t cook for shit.”

When he’d set the other cup on his side of the bed, Ezra launched forwards to grab Joshua around the waist. He fell onto the bed and across Ezra’s lap so that he was looking up at him. Even in the morning, he looks perfect.

“I’m going to kiss you now,” Ezra nodded, his eyes wide, “just to make sure this is real.”

Joshua leaned up to him, his fingers lingering on Ezra’s dark stubble. Their lips delicately joined, only confirming to Joshua how real it was as well.

“Yep,” Ezra pulled away with his eyes still closed, “real.”

Joshua couldn’t resist himself. He couldn’t just leave it there. He had to kiss him again, to take it to that place again.

An hour later and another condom, Joshua lay looking up at the ceiling as the sweat consumed his body.

“I don’t think,” he pushed his hair away with both hands, “that I’ll ever get used to that.”

“We’ll have to keep doing it, just to see if you do,” Ezra propped himself up on his side, his cock still solid.

He could have spent his entire Sunday in bed with Ezra but he knew Violet would be freaking out that he hadn’t gone home. His phone was still switched off and he didn’t dare turn it on to see the frantic messages and voicemails.

“I should go,” he leaned over the edge of the bed, pushing his hair to one side, “Violet will be having a shit fit.”

“Fuck Violet,” Ezra yanked him back by his shoulders, “stay here.”

“You don’t know her,” after a quick kiss, he pulled himself back, “she’s probably calling the army as we speak to send out a search party.”

Ezra let him get out of bed so he could get dressed but he dragged him back onto the bed for another kiss. Before Joshua let himself be seduced, he pulled away and walked over to Ezra’s mirror. His shirt and jeans were creased from being dumped on Ezra’s floor, his hair was a ratty mess and his beard needed trimming. No different than usual then. The only difference was the free smile on his face.

Ezra pulled on a bathrobe and showed Joshua to the door. As they waited for the Uber driver to show up, Joshua had to resist the urge to stay with Ezra all day. If it wasn’t for the thought of Violet pacing her house, he would have stayed.

The car pulled up and Ezra kissed him again, as if inviting him back to bed.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” Joshua bit his lip as he walked backwards down the steps.

“Don’t be late,” Ezra leaned against his door.

His bathrobe was dangerously loose, giving Joshua more than an eyeful of his body. The swelling on the bruises from his beating had died down, leaving them to turn purple and yellow. A gust of wind would expose him and Joshua found himself wishing it wasn’t so warm and wind-free.

He spent the fifteen-minute car journey happily chatting to the driver. Making small talk was something he was good at and it always helped being in a good mood.

“She’s going to murder you,” Levi barely looked up from his laptop, “seriously, I’d run if I was you. Where have you been, bro?”

“It’s a long story,” Joshua shook his head, “where is she?”

“She’s gone out in the car. I think she’s going to your old house. She thinks you might be with that dude, the Steele guy.”

“I was,” he sat down next to Levi, “what are you looking at?”

“Flights,” he twisted the screen so Joshua could see the travel agency screen, “I figured that if the wedding is next Saturday, we could do Monday. That’s when Violet’s going on her honeymoon, so I thought if I found something at the same time we could ride with them to the airport.”

Guilt rushed through him. He’d forgotten all about leaving but Levi wouldn’t know that. Joshua hadn’t told him anything about what was going on. Should I tell him the truth?

“Levi, can we hold off leaving so soon?” rubbing his beard, he avoided his stare, “There’s a lot happening.”

“In and out. That’s what you said,” Levi slammed the laptop shut, “I’ve got itchy feet. I can’t stay here for much longer. I need sun, sand and sex on demand.”

“I didn’t know any of this would happen and I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere.”

“Are you close to catching this guy out?”

Joshua jumped up when he heard the front door slam.

  “Something like that.”

Just from the sound of her heels on the hallway floor he could hear the fury in her step. She ripped open the living room door, a scowl already on her face.

“What’s the point in you having a phone if you don’t answer it,” she slapped his chest, “do you realise how freaked out I’ve been? I haven’t seen you since -,”

She looked over to Levi who was hanging on her every word. She didn’t finish her sentence, instead staring awkwardly at Levi.

“I get it!” he jumped up, “I’ll just leave, again! Damn, if I knew it’d be like this, I would have stayed in India.”

  “Levi, it’s not like -,”

“I’ll be in a bar somewhere,” Levi pushed past them, slamming the front door behind him.

“What’s his problem?” Violet moved his laptop and sat on her couch, slapping the space next to her.

“I told him I didn’t want to leave right after your wedding.”

“You don’t?” her face lit up and she dragged him into a hug, “Please tell me you’re staying.”

  “I don’t know what I’m doing,” he pried her off, “I -,”

“You had sex, didn’t you?” she covered her excited smile with her hand, “It’s written all over your face.”

His cheeks burned brightly and he used his hair to hide it. Was it that obvious?

“I have no idea what I’m doing,” he laughed as he dropped his face into his hands, “he’s in my head more than ever.”

“Joshua, you need to talk to Tobias,” she said, “if you’re not going through with this plan, you need to let him know because he was here last night when you hung up on him. He seemed pretty angry.”

  “What did he say?”

“He wouldn’t tell me,” she stood up and headed for the kitchen, “he said he could only tell you.”

He followed her into the kitchen. She pulled a bottle of orange juice from the fridge and drank straight from the bottle.

“Let’s do something fun, to celebrate your new found homosexuality.”

  “Violet, I-,”

“Joke!” she closed one eye and pointed at him, “Although, I hear it’s catching.”

Gay, straight, bisexual, Joshua didn’t really care. All he could think about was Ezra.

  Ezra naked in bed.

Ezra naked on top of him.

  Ezra naked inside of…

“Let’s go into the city,” she grabbed her car keys, “it’s my last Sunday as a single woman.”

He followed her out to her car but what he really wanted to do was head straight back to Ezra’s.

Arriving at Silverton Tower before the cleaners and the receptionists was always a strange feeling for Ezra. Using his key card for one of the fire exits that was usually used for cheeky cigarette breaks, he made his way across the empty reception, the only s
ound came from his heels clicking against the tiles.

When the doors opened onto the top floor, he walked across the dark space, the sun still struggling to find its place in the morning sky. Outside his office, he paused when he thought he heard something inside. Carefully pulling his keys from his pocket, he gently placed them into the lock and he listened.

Sure it was just his imagination playing tricks on him, he opened the door and tried to shake the paranoia from his mind. It wasn’t paranoia.

Graham was sitting behind his desk, as surprised to see Ezra as Ezra was to see him. He fingers were firmly planted on the keyboard of Ezra’s laptop.

“You have ten seconds to explain what the fuck you’re doing before I open that window and feed you to the pigeons,” Ezra marched across his office towards Graham.

“I w-w-was just checking some things out,” he stumbled over his words as he shakily rose to his feet.

“In my office? How did you even get in here?”

His eyes shot down to a set of keys next to the laptop. Why did Graham have a set of keys for the whole building? He was nothing more than one of the nosey shareholders.

“I was just checking the figures for the Chinese deal,” Graham tried to straighten himself out but he looked like he could crumble any second.

“Why do you need to do this in here?” Ezra slammed his laptop shut, snatching it away from the desk.

“The other computers are locked,” Graham stepped out front behind the desk, “Yours is the only one not on the timer.”

  That part was true.

“It’s not even seven yet,” Ezra looked at the watch on his wrist, “what are you up to, Graham?”

“I could ask you the same,” Graham’s stance toughened.

“I have a lot to catch up on. The Chinese deal is going ahead and I’ve been – distracted.”

“Hmmm, I bet,” Graham picked up his briefcase.

He dropped it onto Ezra’s desk, clicking it open. Before Ezra could stop him, Graham snatched a thick pile of paper from the printer. He stuffed it in the briefcase and locked it.
