Hitman's Lust: a Dark Mafia Romance

“Lorna? Are you okay?” He sounded so worried, but she knew that was more her than the baby.
She stood up now that the pain was gone. “I’m sorry that it took so long for me to say anything to a question that must have been going through your mind for a while, but it took me off guard. I didn’t say anything to you about the baby last week because I know we have been having a great time, and I wasn’t sure how you felt about having a baby.”
“I’m excited about it. I hope I would be the kind of parent that I wanted to have, but I don’t know if I’ll get it right.”
“Aidan, you are going to be a perfect parent, and I’m so happy that we are both excited about this. We should make a deal to never hold things like this back from each other. You could have saved me a week of worrying if you’d have told me I was pregnant a month ago.”
“I wasn’t sure if you were concerned about me being a father or you were trying to get used to the idea, but you’re right. We need to talk it out when there is a problem and we feel like the other person is feeling a certain way, we should confront it.” He stood in front of her and helped put her clothes back on.
She giggled because she was so wrapped up in the moment she didn’t even realize her shirt was askew, her breasts were out, and she was dripping from the aftermath of their liaison.
“Thanks for putting me all back together,” she said raising up on her toes for a kiss.
“I’ve always got your back, Princess. Thanks for giving me the one thing I’d never have asked for because I didn’t think it was in the cards for me.”
“All sex… all the time… with the hottest of all the broads?” Lorna knew was he was going to say, but she wanted to hear it from him.
“I got all that when I met you, and I’ve been loving every minute of it, but this gift of family is something I’ll be eternally grateful for.”
“Glad to be of service, sir, get ready for an adventure because the Barnes family is growing by two feet.”
“I love you, Lorna,”
“I love you, too.”

THE DON’S BABY
THE BABY CHANGED EVERYTHING.
I was poised to inherit the Orsini mafia family’s fortune, ready to take over, rule hard, and die young.
Then my father arranged a marriage between me and the daughter of a rival don. A sham to keep the peace.
A sham that I wanted nothing to do with…
… Until I saw my bride.
Tasted her fiery temper.
And put a baby in her belly.
But when the old man’s peace starts dying and the other families put a target on her back.
I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe.
Even if I have to lash her to the bed.
To hold her close and NEVER let go.

MERCY
HE SAVED ME FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS
My life had spiraled out of control. In one split moment, everything I knew was ripped away.
Everything except him.
Every fiber in my body screamed to keep him away…
… but somehow, this monster pulled me in.
I know I should get away.
Run while I still have a chance.
But each time I feel his searing lips on mine.
Each time he whispers in my ear—all the things he’d do to me.
I can’t help believe him.
And I can’t stop begging for more.

Jackson Kent knew where he was meant to be.
Growing up the only child of the president of Desperados MC, he'd never doubted his place in the brotherhood. Nothing would ever come before them.
Melody Turner didn't know where to call home.
Touring the country, performing six nights a week, and living on a bus with four guys, day in and out was seriously taking its toll. After an incident with an obsessed fan, her manager orders her to take a break from the constant crazy of being a rock star, and Melody decides to head to her parent's house, in the backwoods biker town where she grew up.
Neither one had ever expected to see the other again.
But after running into each other at the local coffee shop, feelings and sensations that Melody hasn't felt in years come rushing back. Jackson had been the first boy Melody ever loved, and until the day she left to chase her dream, she thought they'd be together forever. Now, as they spend time together, she remembers why. But the problems they had twelve years ago still exist. Melody won't give up her dream. And Jackson puts the club first, always.
But if they could learn how to compromise, they might both find a place to belong.
