Green Bearets: Garrin
Page 8
Her head tilted back, eyes rolling into the back of her skull as she gasped and moaned under his attention. Every time she looked back, he was still looking at her. Never once did his eyes stray away from her face.
That knowledge, that he was so intently focused on her, spurred Mia to new heights of pleasure as she began to understand. Garrin wasn’t doing what he was so that she might return the favor, or to make things “fair.” No, he was doing it because he wanted to please her. He took pleasure from her pleasure, and joy from her joy.
It was fucking hot.
Never before had she felt so much like the center of attention because someone wanted her there, not because they felt obligated to.
It made the orgasm that hit her moments later even more powerful. The sudden shaking and explosion of ecstasy hit her like an avalanche, washing over her and taking her for the ride whether she wanted to go along or not.
All Mia could do was grab hold of the covers and hold on for dear life as her body bent, her back arching up off the bed as she shuddered violently. Garrin kept his powerful arms locked around her upper thighs, preventing her from escaping his touch.
She wanted to tell him to stop. To slow down. That she couldn’t handle it, that she needed a moment to relax. But his tongue slid across her clit with blurring speed, gentle and yet precise in its movements.
“Wait,” she panted, barely able to get the word out.
But he didn’t. In fact, he moved faster, and the sudden change of pace rushed through Mia, and she came again. Cries tore from her throat as the sudden barrage of pleasure assaulted her body, muscles screaming in protest as they flexed and unflexed with unaccustomed rapidness.
Garrin pulled away from her this time, allowing Mia to tighten up into a ball as she convulsed, basking in the pleasure, not even bothering to try and recover. Her brain was thoroughly addled and would need several minutes to pull it back together before she could be coherent.
The big shifter had other ideas, however, and even as she lay there, he slid off the bed, making sure to stay in visual range of her. Then, as she watched, he began to strip for her.
First the shirt came off, practically ripped clear of his frame, exposing his powerful chest and rigid, chiseled stomach. Mia drank in the sight of his muscles as they rippled while he undid his belt and let his pants drop away, until he was clad only in his skin-hugging boxers. They covered but did not conceal the massive bulge between his legs.
Mia wanted to reach out, to touch it, but he was too far away, and she wasn’t sure her body was ready to respond to her commands just yet.
He hooked his thumbs under his boxers and then paused, giving her a questioning look.
She nodded, looking up at him with eyes that she knew shone with desire.
He smiled, a sexy, desire-filled look, his eyes blazing with want. The boxers slid free, revealing a much larger than average cock that was rock solid. Again she wanted to push her hand forward, to wrap her fingers around it and feel it within her grasp, but she couldn’t, her body still unresponsive. It was happening too quickly.
Garrin came back onto the bed and slipped around behind her, until they were spooning. She felt his cock press between her legs, and managed to grind her hips ever so slightly back against him, letting her shifter know she was ready for him.
Her shifter.
The thought had come unbidden to her, but she didn’t fight it.
“You’re mine,” she whispered into the silence as he rubbed himself against her, ensuring he would slide easily inside when the time came.
“And you’re mine,” came the deep, truth filled reply.
“Take me,” she told him, her voice returning. “Take me now.”
Garrin didn’t reply, but he pushed himself partially inside of her. She cried out, but there was no pain. Simply a feeling of righteousness, as if this was the man she’d been born to sleep with. Within seconds she’d coaxed him all the way inside of her. When his hips came to a rest against hers, she felt the shudder run through his body, and clamped her walls down around him in response.
The shifter grunted in surprise, and in response he slid partially out and then back into her, forcing another gasp from her.
“You feel so good inside me,” she said with a slight whimper as he withdrew.
He paused his stroke, only the tip of his head still inside her. She moaned and pushed her hips back, trying to get him to slide deep within her once more, but he ignored her protests and moved in time with her, preventing it from happening.
“Garrin, please,” she said, her fingernails digging deep into the one arm he had hooked over her body.
He hissed in pain and suddenly she was filled once more.
“Yes, just like that,” she moaned, and he began to slowly stroke in and out of her at a constant rate.
Mia lost track of time, unsure of how long they lay there, reveling in the sensation of being with each other, of the intimacy of their mating. Eventually her brain cleared, and she began to develop another, deeper craving.
“Garrin,” she said, reaching back to slow his thighs.
“Yes? What is it?” he murmured, his lips brushing gently against her ear as he pulled her tight, his cock burying itself deep within her while he waited.
“I want you to bend me over,” she told him. “Fuck me hard.”
There was no acknowledgment, nor protest. Before she’d even finished speaking Garrin had already withdrawn from her and was rolling onto his knees. He reached down and grabbed her hips, rotating her until her hands and knees were on the bed.
“You’re sure?” he said as he lined up behind her.
“Stop delaying,” she growled, pushing her ass back against him.
By way of response Garrin wrapped his huge, powerful hands around her waist and pulled her back onto his cock, impaling her completely.
“So much deeper,” she said as he entered her, the sensation utterly different than before.
She had no time to bask in it, however, because he was already pulling out.
And then he slammed his entire length deep inside of her without warning.
Mia’s eyes flew open and she bent even more at the waist, burying her head in the sheets as Garrin fucked her hard, her entire body shaking with each thrust as his hips hit hers. Her fists twisted the sheets into tight little circles as she bit down on the pillow, the material only serving to soften her screams, not silence them entirely.
Her entire body shook as Garrin did exactly as he’d been told, fucking her hard and without restraint. She’d never been manhandled so easily before, and the sheer ease with which he held her still made her flush with heat and wetness.
Pressure slowly grew between her legs as the immensely strong shifter relentlessly continued. She’d never dreamed anyone could continue at such a frantic pace for so long, but Garrin could, and did. Her eyes closed and she lost her breath, unable to make any noise as her entire body tensed up.
“Don’t stop,” she forced out. “No matter what, don’t stop. I’m so close.”
A low grunt was all she received, but Garrin didn’t slow at all.
Mia began to shake.
It started off as little tremors in her hands and shoulders, which she put off to muscles protesting at supporting her for so long. But then her toes and even her legs began to quiver. She felt her stomach begin to go nuts, and knew that she was about to climax.
“Mia,” Garrin groaned from behind her, and she knew what that noise meant.
“Just keep going, it’s okay,” she told him, managing to get the words out before her jaw locked itself tight.
There was another deeper, longer groan from Garrin behind her and she felt his cock swell inside of her.
“Yes!” she shouted, and suddenly he erupted inside of her.
The instant she felt the first jet of his cum explode, her own orgasm followed suit and she lost all control of her body. Only his grip on her waist kept her from falling to the side. Garrin continue
d to thrust in and out of her as he shot stream after stream, the warmth spilling out and down her legs.
Mia didn’t care; it was just another aspect of pleasure that heightened her own orgasm. When he finally gave the last, final shudder that was a telltale sign that a male was done cumming, he grabbed her waist tightly and they both fell over together, ending up back in the spooning position.
Neither of them spoke for a long time, too exhausted and overwhelmed from what had just happened to speak coherently.
In the end, they both dozed off.
***
An unknown amount of time later she woke to him stirring next to her.
She opened her mouth to speak, but was shushed by a finger across her lips.
“No talking just yet,” he commanded, and she felt a thrill as his hard cock pressed up between her legs once more.
Sensing a questioning feeling from him on whether it was okay, Mia did the only thing she could think of. The only smart thing to do.
She nodded.
Chapter Nine
Garrin
Sitting back in his chair, he stifled yet another yawn.
The afternoon was wearing on, and he still had yet to come up with a viable plan to rescue Mia’s brother. His sleep-deprived brain wasn’t helping matters either, though to say he regretted the night before would be a bald-faced lie.
His cheeks twitched slightly as memories of an evening, night, and early morning spent in Mia’s arms returned to him.
No, he didn’t regret a single damn thing, other than the fact she’d had to leave for her job at an ungodly hour. He’d caught a couple of hours of shut-eye after she left, but not many, and now he was paying the price for the activities of the night before.
A price I’ll gladly pay anytime, anywhere.
The door jumped as someone slammed their fist into it with far more enthusiasm than was necessary.
“Come in?” he called, the statement half-turning into a question as his curiosity got the better of him. Who the hell was—
“And now you know how you sound when you come knocking on my front door,” Mia chirped as she strolled into the room, looking far too content with herself for having gotten less sleep than he did.
Garrin growled, but it was a pleased noise as she walked around the desk and planted herself in his lap.
“Don’t you go all brute on me,” she admonished before leaning in to kiss him furiously.
“How do you have so much energy?” he asked when they parted, the better part of a minute later.
“Because I’m not lazy like you are,” she said, then tossed him a wink as he glared at her. “Also I took a caffeine pill…or two.”
“Hoo boy,” he muttered, shaking his head.
“Why, is there something wrong with me having energy?” she asked.
Just lie. It’s a white lie. She expects it. Just say it. Don’t admit that you’re mad she can be so alive and you’re ready to fall asleep this instant. It won’t be worth it. Trust me.
He scowled at his inner voice, then wiped the expression off his face and smiled up at Mia. “Absolutely not. If you wanna find a way to give me some though, I’d be in your debt.”
“Are you sure you want to owe me a favor, shifter boy?” she teased, giving her hips a suggestive wiggle before rising.
“I’ve gotten involved with a crime-boss,” he said helplessly, rubbing his face with his hands.
“And don’t you forget it,” she teased, shoving a pair of straightened fingers into his stomach as if they were a weapon as she leaned over him.
There was a knock on the door frame and the pair of them immediately straightened, assuming formal positions. Mia fiddled with her shirt while he turned a slow regard over to the doorway, wondering why someone would interrupt him just then.
Need to put an automatic closer on the door. That would stop any more awkward encounters like this.
“Luther?” He was confused. Captain Klein damn well should know better than to interrupt.
Which meant it was important.
“Ah, I am sorry, sir, but, well, there’s some people here to see you.”
Garrin frowned. “Care to be a little more specific, Captain?” he asked, his voice tightening slightly.
Luther glanced to his left, out of Garrin’s visual range. “Um, do you really want me to name them all sir? Or can I just show them in?”
What the hell?
“Very well,” he said, making a snap decision. “Send them in.”
Mia moved to stand a little farther to his side while Garrin eyed the door, wondering who was going to enter.
Luther stepped back and gave a bow to the first unseen person. That was unusual enough to force Garrin to sit up straight in his chair. Whoever it was commanded a great deal of respect from the captain, and the number of people Luther respected to that degree could probably be counted on two hands, perhaps less.
“Asher,” Garrin said in surprise as Asher Owens, Frost Dragon shifter, walked in his door.
Behind him came two others, both of whom were tall and powerful of frame but without the sheer size of one of Garrin’s bear shifters. Yet there was no comparison between the two. Any one of the three men in front of him could wipe the floor with a full squad of his best men, if not double or triple that amount.
And that was before they changed. In dragon form he doubted the entire amassed strength of the Green Bearets could slow one of them if they decided to do something about it.
“Zeke, Dominic. It’s an honor,” he said, standing up to shake the hands of the three dragon shifters.
Ezequiel “Zeke” Hawthorn. Fire Dragon.
Dominick Carunno. Electro Dragon.
Behind them came other shifters.
“Andrew!” he exclaimed, recognizing the first of four men who walked in. All had the long features typical of gryphon shifters. Andrew Raskell, the one at the head of the quartet, was a gryphon who had worked in tandem with the Green Bearets on more than one occasion now, and was well respected by all his men.
Behind them came yet more people. He instantly recognized Ava, the head of the Ragin’ Air Fillies in Cloud Lake. The RAF was the Pegasi equivalent to the Green Bearets, and Garrin knew that Ava and her team were just as responsible for the saving of Cloud Lake during the dam crisis as were any of his men.
“What is going on?” he asked, stunned at the assembled cast of shifters who had all come to his office.
“We want to help,” Asher said, speaking for the assembled group, his deep voice smooth and melodic, without the gravel-crushing bass of a bear shifter.
“Help with what?” Garrin could barely comprehend.
“Her,” Asher said, pointing gently in Mia’s direction. “We heard about her brother, and we’ve come to help.”
“I appreciate the offer more than you can believe,” he replied. “But I’m sorry, I can’t accept your help. There’s nothing we can do.”
Andrew frowned. “What do you mean?”
Garrin shrugged helplessly. “Daxxton said no. That we can’t go.”
Ava stepped forward. “That’s not quite how I heard it went down,” she put in.
Garrin simply stared at her until she continued.
“From what I understand, Daxxton simply said that he can’t endorse it as King. Not that you were forbidden to go.”
Garrin sat down abruptly.
Of course! That was what Daxxton had been trying to convey to him when his voice changed ever so slightly as he spoke. Cadia could not sanction such a mission. To do so would jeopardize any possible hopes of peace, and possibly stir up interest in them from the humans.
So they would have to go it alone. Rogue. If caught, they would be disowned, and Cadia would do nothing to help them.
“I can’t ask you to do this,” he said.
“To do what?” Mia asked, still confused.
“Ava is right,” he explained. “Daxxton never expressly forbade me or anyone from carrying out the raid. He simply sa
id that Cadia as an entity, and him as its ruler, could not endorse it. They could not lend official help.”
He sneered. “Politics. Anyway, what it means is that he also won’t prevent us from going if we so choose.”
“I sense an unbelievably huge ‘but’ in there,” Mia said, looking unimpressed.
“Exactly. The ‘but’ being that if we’re caught, we’re on our own. Cadia cannot and will not do anything at all to help us. Which means we can be treated as rogue shifters crossing a sovereign shifter entity.”
“Which means?” Mia asked nervously.
“They can kill us on the spot with absolutely zero repercussions. From Cadia or the humans.”
“Oh,” Mia said in a very tiny voice. “That’s all?”
He snorted at her ability to still be so cavalier.
Then again, it wasn’t her who was going into danger.
That’s not fair. You can’t hold it against her that she’s not a shifter.
He mentally apologized to her for something he’d not spoken aloud, and then faced his assembled guests.
“You don’t have to do this,” he said quietly.
“Actually,” Andrew said fiercely, “we do.”
“He’s right,” Ava said, and Asher nodded.
“Her brother is suffering for something that we shifters are doing to each other,” the dragon shifter put in. “That’s not right. No human should ever be put in a position like that.”
There were sounds of agreement from the other assembled shifters.
“Okay then,” he said, a grin beginning to show despite his best attempts not to.
Three dragons. Four gryphons. Six Pegasi.
They could do this!
“Well if you’re all going, then I’m going,” Mia put in.
All his thoughts came to an immediate halt.

Mia
Garrin’s head snapped around to stare at her, and she saw the protest rising in his throat before it even came out.
Her eyes flashed warningly at him, and to her surprise, he got the hint.
