Straight Boy: A Short Story

Xavier didn’t seem to be in any hurry to move away, breathing raggedly against his throat. Sage felt Xavier’s lips move against his collarbone, shaping soundless words. Xavier kissed the sensitive skin there before sucking hard.

“There will be a hickey,” Sage murmured.

“Good.” Xavier gave him another hickey. And then another.

He should stop him. Sage knew he should stop him. The guys at work were going to give him weird looks tomorrow—everyone knew he and Laura had broken up.

  Yet he didn’t stop Xavier.

Instead, Sage found himself tangling his arms and legs around the man on top of him and closing his eyes, feeling ridiculously warm inside. Safe.

Sage laughed at the thought. God, he really was messed up in the head.

“Something funny?” Xavier murmured, still nipping at his throat.

“You fucked me up,” Sage said, sliding a hand down Xavier’s wide back.

Xavier stopped kissing his neck. He propped himself up on an elbow and looked down at him. There was an odd expression in his eyes. “Then we’re even.”

Sage swallowed, his stomach tightening. “So… You fucked me. What now? Did you get it out of your system?”

Xavier’s lips pursed. “It might take a few more tries,” he said after a moment.

Sage scoffed, but against his will, found himself smiling.

Xavier stared at his face for so long that Sage started feeling uncomfortable. “What?”

“Dump your girlfriend,” Xavier said. “I’m not sharing you. Even with a woman.”

Sage opened his mouth to tell him to fuck off, but the words died on his lips under the intensity of Xavier’s gaze.

“She already dumped me,” he said instead, feeling flustered for no reason.

“Good.” Xavier leaned down to kiss him.

Some time later, when Xavier finally pulled his tongue out of his mouth, Sage sighed and admitted, “Maybe I’m not completely straight after all.”

Xavier chuckled. “Maybe? You just had my dick in you. It doesn’t get gayer than that, Straight Boy.”

Sage smacked him on the head but found himself smiling as he rolled them over and buried his face on Xavier’s chest.

Maybe he really wasn’t straight. But maybe it was all right.

Xavier wrapped a heavy arm around him and pulled him tighter.

Sage closed his eyes and breathed his scent in.

  More than all right.

  The End

Thank you for reading! Straight Boy is a short prequel to the Straight Guys series. Xavier and Sage appear as supporting characters in other books of the series.

  JUST A BIT TWISTED

  (Straight Guys #1)

Professor Derek Rutledge is hated and feared by all of his students. Cold, reserved and ruthless, he doesn’t tolerate mistakes and has little patience for his students.

Shawn Wyatt is a twenty-year-old struggling to provide for his younger sisters after the death of their parents. On the verge of losing his scholarship, Shawn becomes desperate enough to go to Professor Rutledge.

Everyone says Rutledge doesn’t have a heart. Everyone says he’s a ruthless bastard. Shawn finds out that everyone is right.

He strikes a deal with Rutledge, but unexpectedly, the deal turns into something so much more.

  Something all-consuming and addictive.

  Something neither of them wants.

  JUST A BIT OBSESSED

  (Straight Guys #2)

Alexander Sheldon likes order and control in his life. He isn’t happy when his girlfriend invites another guy for a threesome. Alexander believes in monogamy, and he’s never been good at sharing his things. It doesn’t help that Christian rubs him the wrong way from the beginning.

But what starts as animosity turns into something else. Something unexpected and very wrong.

He was never supposed to touch Christian. He was never supposed to feel possessive of the guy. And he most definitely wasn’t supposed to want Christian more than he wants his girlfriend.

  It’s a recipe for disaster.
