"That was the hottest fucking thing I’ve ever witnessed. You’re absolutely beautiful when you come," Colin says as he removes his hand from my underwear, smiling at me as he licks his fingers. "You taste as sweet as I expected, too."
This has got to be the single most erotic encounter of my life. He leans down and kisses me with all the passion I just experienced and I can taste myself on his lips. I can't resist reaching down to his waistband and trying to get my hands underneath his jeans to touch his ass. Colin lifts up and slowly shakes his head.
"Not tonight, sweetheart. You've had a hell of a day and I just wanted to help you relax a little. We'll have our time, but now is not it." He smiles and that softens the blow of his rejection. I pout, but he leans down and kisses my lips. "No pouting. This is just the beginning for us."
"Thank you," I whisper. I’m so overwhelmed by the passion that we've shared that I don't know what else to say. Colin brushes my hair away from my face and places a soft kiss on my cheek. He leans up and offers his hand to help me sit up as well. I glance down at his erection, wanting desperately to touch him like he touched me. He puts his hand under my chin, lifting my face to his and smiles while shaking his head.
"I'm fine, really. I'm not about to take advantage of you anymore than I just did. Especially after what that prick did to you."
That turned the hose on my libido. Just thinking of Ron makes me want to vomit. How can that asshole still ruin a good evening?
"Well, I should probably get going then. I have a ton of work to catch up on. Thank you for a lovely evening. And thanks for all you did for me earlier. I honestly don't know where I would be without you." I stand and so does he. He brings me in for a hug, which is nice since we're still not wearing anything above the waist. His skin is warm and his body is hard where mine is soft. We fit together well.
"It's been my pleasure, Becca. Let's get you dressed and I'll walk you home." He turns and picks up my bra and top. I don't bother with the undergarment and just slip the shirt over my head. Colin puts his hand at the small of my back, leading me to the door. He stops and picks up my bag and walks me out into the hall, down the twenty feet to my door. I put my key in the lock and open the door. He hands me my bag and kisses me on the forehead.
"Please be sure to lock your door. I'm here if you need anything, so don't hesitate to call me. I'll see you tomorrow."
I kiss him on the lips, savoring the moment before it's over. Colin steps back and holds the door open so I can slip into my apartment.
"Remember, lock the door and use the chain. I want you to be safe tonight."
"I promise, I will. Thanks for everything." I don't want to shut the door, but Colin is pulling it closed for me.
"Goodnight, Becca." He pulls the door closed. I stand there with my head on the doorframe going over everything that happened tonight when I hear Colin's voice.
"Lock the door. I'm not leaving until I hear the lock and chain." I giggle and do as Colin requested. Once the door is secure, I move into my apartment to get ready for bed.
Chapter 14-Rebecca
The rest of the week passed uneventfully. I didn't hear a word from Ron and haven't seen Colin around, either. Of course, I've been stuck in classes or the library, so I've been missing in action, too. My bruises are fading and I'm not as sore as I was. I'm actually starting to feel like myself again. I hear Christin's ringtone coming from my purse and I know she's going to want to go out tonight. She never misses a Saturday night of club hopping. I let it go to voicemail as I drag myself to the bathroom to brush the nasty taste out of my mouth.
As I'm finishing up with my oral hygiene routine, there’s a knock at my door. Who the fuck is here at nine o'clock on a Saturday morning? I run my fingers through my hair as I'm walking to the door. No need to scare anyone with my bed head.
The knocking starts again before I can make it across the living room, for heaven's sakes!
"I'm coming, keep your pants on. Who the fuck is it?" I shout as I pull the chain off and unlock the deadbolt.
When I finally get the door open, Christin is standing there with a tray of coffee and a bag from my favorite bakery.
"Good morning, sunshine. I thought you might need some breakfast. I have your favorite caramel latte and sour cream donuts." She smiles as she pushes past me into my apartment. I can't help but shake my head as I shut the door and follow her into the kitchen.
"How thoughtful, Christin. What's going on? It's not like you to be this chipper in the morning." I take the cup with my name on it and bring the bag to the table. She sits down with me and we dive into the delicious donuts.
"Well, I actually have a favor to ask, but I wanted you to be good and awake before I jumped into it." She actually looks a little nervous, something I've only seen a few times in the past.
"What's up, friend? You look like you're about to jump out of your skin. You know I'm here for you, now matter what you need." She looks down at her coffee and I think I see tears forming in her eyes.
Christin just sits there for what seems like forever. I decide that whatever this is must be huge so I wait silently. She finally takes a deep breath, looks up at me and says, "I think I'm pregnant."
My mind goes blank and I put my cup down before I drop it. No wonder she's so freaked out.
"Why do you think that? What's going on? Have you taken a test?" I realize that I'm firing questions at her and put my hand over my mouth to stop the verbal diarrhea.
"I haven't taken a test, but my boobs hurt and I'm a week late. I'm so scared, Becca. What am I going to do?" She starts to cry and I'm not sure what to say. I've never seen Christin cry, ever. I think about what she would do if our roles were reversed and I try that tactic.
"Okay, let's get your ass to the store and buy a test. No point in getting all worked up over something that may not be a problem. So, grab your shit and let's go." I stand up and pull her to her feet. She doesn't fight me, but she doesn't look at me either. I half drag her out the door, stopping only to make sure she's got her purse.
"I'll drive and it's going to be fine. We'll figure this out together." At least I hope we will. I have no idea what she's going to do if she actually is pregnant.
Once we're in the car and on our way to the pharmacy, Christin calms down a little.
"Who's the guy? Do I know him?"
"No, you don't know him. I'm not even sure, to be honest. That's what makes this so horrible. It was a one night stand a few weeks ago. He used a condom, but you know how my luck is."
"Okay, enough of that crap. What's done is done. Let's just move past that and deal with the present. Do you want me to go in with you?"
"Actually, can you go in for me?" She starts to cry again. "I just can't get it together right now."
"Sure, I'll take care of it. I'll park over to the side of the building and run in. Stay here and lock the doors." I get out of the car and head into the pharmacy. God, I hope I don't run into anyone I know. The last thing I need is for a rumor to get started about me.
I walk with my head down, going straight to the pregnancy tests. I don't linger too long, grabbing one of the medium-priced boxes. I make it up to the checkout and there’s only one person in front of me. I try to be inconspicuous with my purchase, keeping it down to my side. When it's my turn, I place the box on the counter without looking up at the cashier.
"That'll be $12.50." I place a twenty on the counter.
"Becca, is that you?" I groan and hope that it's someone else behind me with the same name. The voice is familiar, but I'm not ready to look up yet. I peek to see if the cashier has put the test in a bag yet, but she hasn't. In fact, she seems to be staring at whoever is behind me. Fuck. Women only have that look around really hot guys. Please, please, please don't let it be him.
"Becca, are you ignoring me?" The question is asked with a laugh and I just know it's Colin. I turn around. Sure enough, there he is, looking all gorgeous in his sleeveless t-shirt and workout shorts.
"No, not on purpose," I say as I try to take his attention away from the counter. I really hope that the bitch running the cash register has come out of her stupor and is finishing up with my change. "What are you doing here, Colin?" Really? It's none of my business why he's here. Maybe the floor will open up and swallow me now.
"Oh, you know. Just some light shopping on a Saturday morning. Is everything okay? You look flushed. You're not getting sick are you?" He sounds so concerned. How sweet is that?
"No, I'm fine. Just needed to grab something real quick." I turn around to see if my change is ready, but the stupid girl is still staring at Colin like she's looking at a movie star.
"Excuse me, ma’am, are we about done here?" I ask somewhat irritated. That seems to snap her out of it and she throws the box in the bag and gets my change. I turn to tell Colin goodbye and see that he's staring at my bag. Well, fuck me. He saw what I just bought. I feel my cheeks heat up and I just want to die.
"It's for Christin, I swear. It's not what you think," I stutter like an idiot.
"None of my business," he says holding his hands up in surrender. "I'll see you later, okay?" He looks like someone just stole his puppy. I know there's nothing else I can say right now, so I just try to smile and walk away. I can't believe out of all the people I know I had to run into Colin while buying a pregnancy test. Of course he's going to think it's for me. I may have to kill Christin for this.
Once I get back to the car and see Christin curled up in the front seat, my anger dissipates. She's really scared so I can't be mad at her. I'll deal with the fallout with Colin later; right now I need to focus on my friend.
When we’re back in my place, I send Christin to the bathroom to take the test and I look for all the chocolate I can find. Thankfully, I have some chocolate covered mints. They're Christin's favorite and they'll be necessary if she gets the news she's dreading. I also make sure that I have some Seagram's 7 to make her a drink, just in case she's not pregnant.
A few minutes later she emerges from the bathroom. I can't tell by the look on her face what she found out and she doesn't say anything. She simply goes to the couch and sits down, staring off into space. Instead of making her tell me, I go check for myself.
The stick is sitting on the bathroom counter. I walk up to it like I'm approaching a live bomb that may explode at any moment. When I finally get close enough to see the results, I shake my head. Silently I turn and walk into the living room.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, bitch? You scared the fuck out of me!" Yes, I'm yelling at my friend, but she deserves it.
Christin has her back to me and her shoulders are shaking. She better be laughing or I’m going to kick her ass. I pull on her shoulder to roll her over so I can see her face. She’s smiling and laughing hysterically. Next thing I know, I'm laughing with her.
"I'm sorry, Becca," she says when she's able to talk again. "I didn't mean to scare you. I wasn't sure how to react when I saw the test. I'm so relieved that I lost the ability to form words."
"That's okay. I know today has been a shock for you. I do have some mints if you want some."
"You don't have to tell me twice. Gimme!" Now, that's the Christin I know.
I get up and grab the candy for her, breathing a sigh of relief myself. None of us are ready for a baby right now, especially our playgirl.
"So, what do you want to do now?" Christin asks around a mouth full of chocolate.
"I need to get a shower, but I didn't really have any plans for today. I assumed we'd be going out tonight since it's Saturday."
"Damn straight we're going out! Now we have something to celebrate, too," she says with a big grin. I smile back at her.
"I need to get some work done. Why don't we meet back here around eight and we'll go. I'll drive tonight, so you can celebrate."
"Sounds great. I'll text Steph and let her know the plan. Thanks, Becca, for this morning. I really appreciate you being here for me and not making me feel like shit. You're a great friend."
"You're welcome, babe. That's what I'm here for. Will you do me a favor?"
"Anything, I promise."
"Will you please consider an IUD or something in addition to condoms? I don't think my heart can take another morning like this." I smile trying to soften my words, but I'm completely serious.
"You're right. I need to take better care of myself. I'll call my doctor next week and see about getting an appointment. This scared the fuck out of me."
"Me, too. I don't want to do this again anytime soon." I also don't know how I'm going to convince Colin that the test wasn't for me. I get up to walk Christin to the door so I can lock it behind her. She turns and gives me a hug as she's leaving.
"Thanks again, Becca. I don't know what I'd do without you," she whispers. I hug her back and nod. She walks away and I see Colin opening his door. He looks up and I smile. He gives me a grin back, but it doesn't reach his eyes. Fuck. Well, he'll just have to get over it. I close my door and lock it. Time to get to work.
I spend the day cleaning my apartment, doing laundry, and reading some of my assignments for class next week. I probably should’ve taken a nap, but there wasn't time. I'm finishing my makeup when Christin and Stephanie arrive. Christin is dressed to kill in a black mini dress that barely covers her perky ass. She looks like she's on a mission to have fun. Stephanie is wearing a red leather mini skirt and a sequined halter top that leaves her back bare. How did I end up with these two sexy women as friends? I feel like a nun next to them in my navy dress and low heels. I don't really want to draw a lot of attention to myself tonight, so the outfit should do just fine.
"Let's go, you bitches. I'm ready to get my party on," Christin exclaims as she walks out of the apartment. Steph and I just shake our heads and follow her.
We pull up to Breaker's and there’s a short line to get in. Christin used to work here so I doubt we'll be waiting outside. Christin walks up to the bouncer and gives him a big hug. He kisses her cheek and opens the door for us. I hear the people in line make comments, but I walk by with my head held high. Suck it, assholes.
I'm hit with the smell of sweat and beer as soon as I get inside the door. Most clubs have a unique smell, but Breaker's is older and it seems like the odor is soaked into the walls. It's still a great place to hang out. We make a stop at the bar to get our drinks. Of course Christin has her 7 and 7 and Steph goes for her favorite, vodka and cranberry. I order a bottle of water since I'm driving and we go find a table to set our stuff down. It's crowded, but we're able to find a small booth in the back, as far away from the dance floor as possible. It's not the ideal place to be seen, but it’ll have to do for now.
The girls finish their drinks in record time and it's finally time to dance. I need to let loose tonight and just forget the past week. LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem is playing and the beat is easy to get lost in. We're moving with the rest of the crowd and it's really fun. The song changes over to Justin Timberlake's TKO and I'm so happy. I love his music and get lost in the beat. Closing my eyes, I let the sound wash over me and direct my movements. I feel people all around but I don't bother to look. I'm in my own world and it's wonderful.
Someone puts their hands on my waist, but I just keep dancing. I'm having fun and the girls are out here with me. I feel something grinding into my ass, so I decide to look and see who's there. I'm shocked to see Colin dancing with me. I relax into him and let him pull me closer. We stay like that for a couple songs; until I am so thirsty I have to take a break. I put my hand on his and pull him with me toward our table. Steph and Christin are there, throwing back another round. When we walk up they stop with their drinks in mid-air.
"Girls, this is my neighbor, Colin. Colin, these are my best friends, Stephanie and Christin."
"Nice to meet you both. I think I saw you this morning, right?" he asks Christin and she nods a little, her drink still halfway to her mouth. I shake my head and snap my fingers in front of both of them.
"Snap out of it. You l
ook like a couple of idiots." They seem to come back to earth and smile dreamily at Colin.
"Do you ladies need another round? I'm going to get a beer." He’s such a gentleman. The girls are still speechless so I answer for them.
"I think Tweedledee and Tweedledumb are fine for now. Since I'm driving tonight, I'll have another bottle of water, if you don't mind."
"Any other reason you're drinking water?" he whispers in my ear.
I smile knowing he's probably been thinking about it all day. "No, I told you, that was for Christin. As you can see, she got the answer she wanted," I whisper back.
"Okay, I'll go get those drinks," he says with a smile as he walks away. All three of us lean over to check out his ass. It's such a thing of beauty; I can't blame the girls for ogling him.
Once he's out of sight, Christin looks at me and she seems pissed.
"What the fuck, Becca? I remember seeing him when we were fixing your door locks and you didn't bother to introduce me then. Why aren't you sharing, you greedy bitch? Are you fucking him yet?"
Stephanie laughs and spits out a little of her drink. I know my mouth is open as I look at my friend. I glance over at Steph and she’s still laughing, wiping the alcohol from her chin.
