“When you said goodbye and left, I thought you no longer wanted me.”

“I have never wanted any other man but you, Drake Rosen.” She nestled her face against his neck, inhaling him. “I want all of you.”

“Oh baby, you have me and more.” Tentative joy punched a ray of light into his heart. “I’m never letting you go again and to clinch the deal, I want you to marry me.”

  “What?” she gasped, leaning away.

“Ahh…Bee.” He cradled her head and kissed her deeply. He winced.

  “Drake, your lip.” She protested.

“I don’t fucking care. A cut lip is nothing compared to making sure I’m not hallucinating. That you’re really here.” He kissed her deeply leaving him breathless and wanting more. His cock stirred.

“You don’t have to answer now. This isn’t exactly the best place to propose but yes…” he cupped her cheek. “I want you to be my wife. I’ve always wanted that, from the very start.”

Bethany’s breath caught, her eyes misting. “Drake, I haven’t put on the waterworks as much as I’ve had these last four months.” She laughed softly before her eyes clouded. “Even knowing what I was before?”

He framed her face with his hands and gave her the gentlest kiss. “Anybody who talks out of turn will find themselves in the next country if they so much a say a nasty word about you. It’s you I love Bethany. Not the choices you had to make because some fucktard made it his life mission to destroy us both.”

Bethany hummed against his mouth. “Rosen, is that what I think it is?”

Drake grinned pulling away, loving the way she looked at him.

  “What if it is?”

In one move, he hauled Bethany up and carried her to the massage table. His body still buzzed with adrenalin from the fight and it further fuelled his libido. He stormed to the door locking it.

“Drake! Open up!” Miles pounded on the door.

  “I’m busy!”

“Drake,” Bethany gasped. “What are they going to say?”

His cock twitched at the sight of her blush.

“Let them say what they want to say.” He gave her a sexy smirk. He sauntered to the woman who would always be the light of his life and stood between her legs. He ran his hands over Bethany’s waist before reaching for the waistband of her jeans. “I haven’t eaten.”

Bethany’s eyes darkened her tongue biting the side of her bottom lip.

  “I haven’t either.”

He grinned. Fuck his busted lip. “I’m hungry.”

  Bethany’s eyes softened. “Me too.”

Then she kissed the tattoo forever etched on his body and his heart.

“Bloody hell, Bee. I missed you.”

With a growl, he unzipped Bethany’s jeans and dragged them together with her panties down her legs. Her ankle boots went next. His cock twitched hard at the sight of her bare mound and he inhaled her scent into his starved lungs. He raised her legs and pulled them apart. Bethany leaned back on her elbows. He grinned at the short breaths of anticipation and excitement moving in and out of her before looking down at the pink delicious flesh in front of him. He blew over it and watched with satisfaction as Bethany’s pussy became plump and moist before his very eyes.

“Hmm… baby, I haven’t done anything yet and your pussy is getting wet.”

“Drake…stop teasing,” Bethany gasped. She bucked her hips gently in invitation before reaching down to open her lips for him.

  Holy shit, that’s fucking hot.

“Woman, get ready for the start of more fuck rides that will blow your mind.”

He took a swipe between her pussy lips and closed his eyes in pleasure. Bethany hissed and moaned. He held her gaze and did it again, his tongue exploding with her flavour and couldn’t get enough.

“Drake…” Her stomach muscles moved frantically. He licked her fingers before he turned his gaze on her mound and started to take in his fill that he had without for a fucking long time. His tongue darted up and down, left to right, and swirled around her clit. He wished he could suck her the way he kissed her, but couldn’t do it with a busted lip.

  Next time.

He couldn’t wait. His orgasm was so close but he wanted it to be inside Bethany.

He stood and pulled his shorts down. Bethany’s face transformed, her tongue licking her lips. He chuckled.

“Later, baby. Right now I’m holding on to be inside you.” Drake rasped as he stroked himself. Then he fed himself into her tight sheath. Bethany threw her head back before taking off her coat and her clothes underneath until her bra was the only thing she wore. Her nipples, taut and hard behind the lace became Drake’s undoing and with one thrust brought himself inside Bethany. She cried out.

“You okay, Bee?” he panted, keeping still to let her adjust to him.

“Oh baby, you feel good.” She sat up and placed an arm around him. The angle squeezed his cock inside.

“Fuck it, Bethany…I don’t think I can last.”

“Take me, Drake.” Bethany smothered his face with kisses and squeezed him inside her. “Take me as hard as you want.”

Drake withdrew and slammed into Bethany. She whimpered, her breath coming out short and fast. Drake did it again. Slow. Fast. Hard. Until he couldn’t hold the slow fast rhythm and started to piston in and out of Bethany’s sweet hot heat. Bethany fell back on the table. Drake held her thighs in his hands before he released them and leaned into Bethany.

  “Look at me, Bee.”

Drake held her gaze, watching as the myriad of emotions of hunger and love filled her gaze. He was so close…could feel the power surge centering in his groin. His body tensed. Bethany’s whimpers increased in pitch until she bowed out of the table and came softly squeezing him in her climax. Drake closed his eyes and followed her to oblivion as he emptied himself into her.

As he plied her mouth, face, and neck with soft open kisses, Wildest Moments kept running in a loop inside his mind.

  EPILOGUE

Laughter and music from hidden speakers interspersed the conversation going around the table while platters of food prepared by Dominic were passed around.

It was in the middle of Sunday afternoon. Lissie, Corinne, and Eddie did the unthinkable. They closed The Retreat for the rest of the day and the entire night. It was a time for a private party and a moment between friends. Everyone was amused to see Oliver stand whenever Lissie stood and even accompanied her even when she went to check on the staff in the kitchen. Lissie’s constant coming and going finally took a toll on Oliver and he rubbed his knee.

“Babe, I’m just in the kitchen,” Lissie said, her arms wide in a helpless gesture. “I’m not going anywhere and nothing’s going to happen to me.”

“You’re surrounded by knives,” Oliver groused.

Lissie huffed, her forehead puckering. “One thing you need to realise, Cray, is to never cross a hormonal and pregnant woman.”

Luke chortled in amusement. “I’d heed her if I were you, mate.”

Oliver sighed, shaking his head but his face cleared and he let out a rueful chuckle after Lissie kissed him.

“Let me,” Chaps said giving Oliver one of his rare grins before following Lissie into the kitchen.

Oliver, Malcolm, Aiden, and Vincent looked at each other and chortled.

Bethany had finally met Eddie and liked him immediately. She looked around the table…well more like four tables placed together. Gracie had brought Flynn, her mother, Theresa, and her good friend Noreen. Her parents had come as well and so did Cinzia who talked with Dominic about various Italian dishes from the old country.

Apart from Oliver and Luke, Bethany finally got to meet Barry Slater who had to leave after a while to deal with another client. Luke told them that Rouen Abelard could not leave France and they were still trying to find Kieran.

Taking a sip from her glass of red, Bethany watched Amara who had taken a liking to Flynn. Both were in a separate table concentrating on the pages of two colour
ing books. Vincent had decided to sit with them and Flynn’s eyes bugged out at the sight of the huge Russian. But Vincent had such a way with children that soon all three of them were laughing.

Bethany smiled wistfully. Amara, she realized, would no longer be the young girl shielded from the ugly underbelly of the world they lived in. Something had changed in her daughter and Bethany still wasn’t sure if it was for the better. The good part about it though, was that Amara was talking again. As though she had formed a shell around herself but shed it when she was with her grandparents, Bethany and Drake, and right now with Flynn and Vincent. Amara was still protective of Bethany but had eventually relinquished that duty the more she got to know Drake. Her heart expanded remembering the moment Drake saw Amara again. It was as though nothing had happened. Drake had spent time with Amara answering all her questions.

Bethany decided right after talking to Amara in Newcastle that it was enough that her daughter knew that they had had to leave Manchester to escape a bad man. She was going to keep the rest to herself. Now wasn’t the time to let Amara know who Andrew was. Some secrets were better left unsaid even if it had to be taken to the grave.

“Drake, can I have word?” Joe stood.

Drake looked at Bethany in question. Bethany shrugged, clueless to what her father wanted. She tracked them to the far end of the restaurant. Drake’s face was serious. So was her dad’s. They spoke in hushed tones and not even her ability to lip read could help.

Suddenly, Drake held out his hand. Joe took it and pulled Drake into an embrace. Bethany blinked, clamping her teeth over her lips to stem the emotion that seemed to be overflowing since she and Drake got back together. The troubled look on Drakes face disappeared as though it had been taken from him by a cleansing stream. His face was the most peaceful that she had ever seen.

“What was that all about?” Bethany asked whispering when Drake returned to his seat beside her.

“Bee,” Drake looked down at her hands where a 4 carat diamond engagement ring in platinum caught the lights above and winked on her left ring finger. He looked at her. The bruises he had sustained in the fight a week ago still discoloured his skin, but nothing could disguise the love Bethany saw in her beautiful man’s eyes. “When I was forced to leave you, I blamed myself every day for it. I thought so did your father.”

“My God, what?” Her eyes rounded like saucers and she looked at her father in dismay. But her father merely smiled, nodding in understanding. “What did Dad say?”

Drake’s jaw clenched as though he was trying to keep his emotions in check. He swallowed.

  “He never did.”

“Baby.” She cupped his cheek. “I told you he never would.”

“He just wanted me to know that despite everything that’s happened, he said it wasn’t my fault. He also said I could always go to him if I wanted to talk.” He looked up, his eyes brimming with emotion. “He said he wanted to be the dad I never had.”

Tears spilled from Bethany’s cheeks as she embraced Drake tightly. She went to her father and embraced him unable to stop herself from sobbing.

  “Thank you.”

Joe patted his daughter’s shoulder. He cleared his throat.

“He makes you happy. That’s all the matters to me.”

Bethany gave her father a kiss on the cheek before embracing her mother.

“You guys are the best parents a girl could ever have.” She chuckled through her tears. She held her hand to Amara who wandered to her side when she saw her mother crying. “And the best grandparents for Amara.”

Rag n’ Bone Man’s As You Are filtered through the sound system. Drake stood.

“Lissie, you don’t mind if I turn part of your resto into a dance floor, do you?”

  “Of course not.” Lissie beamed.

Bethany’s pulse raced at the way Drake looked at her. At the way, his eyes raked down her body before returning to her face. His eyes warmed and heated her and she was about to become a puddle at his feet at the desire flaring in his eyes.

He held out his hand and pulled her to an empty space. Bethany threw her head back and laughed happily when he spun her before taking her into his arms. Her breath hitched at the telltale sign of his hunger hardening against her belly. He grinned lazily before whispering in her ear.

  “Let’s slow dance.”

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I’m just an ordinary woman with a love for reading and baking snickerdoodles and Russian tea cakes. My son loves baking too, well at least after licking the batter off the bowl! I make a mean beef stew derived from my grandmother's secret recipe. Except for my Uncle and me, no one knows exactly how it's done. I love swimming though I don't get to do that much now. Someday, I'd like to go back to it.

I do love myths and legends, love watching documentaries, and I do belong to a huge clan that is scattered across North America, Oceania, and Asia. Now that I'm living in the UK, add Europe.

Another thing that I love? To hear from you. So drop me a message when you can through my contact page and I will definitely reply.
