Meghan Quinn - You are so sweet, so funny, and so pretty. It’s really not fair, but instead of being bitter about all the gifts you have, I’m just thankful for your kindness, generosity and all the amazing books you continue to write.

Tara Sivec - Your dramatics make life worth living. You’re so damn witty it doesn’t seem natural, and your personality is so energetic it’s contagious. I hadn’t read enough of your books to truly appreciate you the first time we met, but that didn’t keep it from being memorable. Can I come live with you? Because I can’t imagine there being a dull moment in your presence.

Brooke Blaine - I’ve been stalking you from afar for a while and just now came out of the woodwork. It might seem sudden to you, but it’s been a longstanding friendship in my eyes. But I know how easily you get creeped out, so I’ll dial it back a little. Thank you for writing shit-your-pants funny books and for teaching me Basic White Girl lingo. I always learn something new with you.

Mom - thank you for always believing in me and supporting my writing, even if you don’t particularly care for the content. It just shows that you truly have unconditional love, and I have never had to worry about disappointing or letting you down.

Monica Buettner - AKA my future sister-in-law - thank you for helping me brainstorm, for helping watch the kids and for putting up with my disappearances when I was writing. You have been a huge help with all my storylines.

Last but not least, my husband - I can’t even put into words just how vital my husband is to my publishing. Not only does he offer unwavering support, but he helps with all the technical aspects of self-publishing. This time around especially, he’s put up with melt downs and mood swings and panic attacks because of my complicated storyline. He spent hours looking for software, reading articles and helping me come up with the best way for me to brainstorm productively. At this point, he’s done pretty much everything but write the actual book. So he is the one and only reason I actually get to write.

To anyone I may have missed, I’m so sorry - make sure and scream at me so I won’t forget next time.

  Xoxo
