Zev let Celeste lead, her growls turning to low grunts as he felt her nearing her orgasm. He had a firm grasp of his cock and was working it hard, wildly turned on by Celeste’s release of inhibition in fulfilling his request. She pulled at his hair and lifted his head off the ground, holding his face stationary into her hot, pulsing cunt.

Zev felt himself wanting to release, but held it at bay, holding on until the very last moment until Celeste was ready to jump off the edge with him. He didn’t have to wait long. With two more passes across his face, Celeste exploded in a series of powerful waves, her body shuddering as each one rolled over her core. He thrust his tongue into her and held it fast, allowing her walls to squeeze it tight with each pulse. Zev closed his eyes and melted.

He released violently, his cum painting his stomach in streaks, until they fell into the foggy gray oblivion that consumed them. Minute after minute, the orgasm claimed them, forcing them both into submission while it ravaged their bodies, controlled their minds, and took them to a different realm of existence.

After nearly twelve minutes, Celeste collapsed to the floor, her body falling off Zev’s face. He rolled over and took her into his arms, holding her into his chest.

“Thank you, baby girl, thank you. Thank you. Thank you,” he whispered into her ear over and over and over as Celeste was finally freed from the orgasm and sobbed into his shoulder, intense tears completely and totally consuming her.

  Chapter Fifteen

Calen was at the apartment when Celeste arrived home on Saturday afternoon. Zev had left a few hours before her, so she could put space between them and get back into the mindset of being with Calen. Celeste knew space from each other was needed. She was afraid if they even stood in the same room, Calen would sense what had happened between them. It burned the air around them.

On the drive home, Celeste thought hard about what she was going to do about Calen. She loved him, it was true. In fact, she was quite sure she had never loved anyone so much in her life. Her love, her need for Zev was something beyond her control, but her need for Calen was out of pure love.

And yet, how could it be? How could she love a man and sleep with his best friend, his teammate, his brother? No, she couldn’t possibly love Calen like she thought because if she did, she wouldn’t have treated him in such a way. It took all six hours of the drive back to convince herself otherwise. And, it hadn’t even worked.

Still, as she entered her apartment Saturday afternoon and saw him sitting on the couch chatting with Heather, her heart nearly burst from her chest. She ran to him and tackled him where he sat, embracing him tightly and covering his face with kisses.

“Whoa.” Calen laughed. “Maybe we should spend more time apart.”

Celeste grabbed his face and held it still. She looked him directly in his eyes.

“I am so sorry I didn’t tell you I was leaving. It was inconsiderate and rude of me to just go without saying good-bye. Please forgive me.”

“Babe, don’t worry about it. I’m just glad you’re back and that you’re safe,” Calen said, offering her a soft smile. “Did everything go okay at home?”

Celeste nodded and leaned in for a deep kiss.

“Well, that’s my cue,” Heather said as she stood. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a date to get ready for.”

“A date? With who?” Celeste broke her kiss and turned her attention to her roommate.

“A lot has happened since you’ve been away, C.”

  “It’s been three days.”

“Well, so, I got myself a date for the Greek Row Sideshow tonight. Jake Pierson from Omega Chi. Oh, and he’s gonna love my costume. I’m the half-woman half-mermaid.” Heather threw her hair over her shoulder and practically skipped down the hall.

Celeste furrowed her brow. “That’s tonight, I forgot.” She looked back at Calen. “How come you didn’t mention it on the phone? It totally slipped my mind.”

Calen shrugged. “It seemed like you had a lot of things piled on at home, and I just didn’t want to stress you out. This is the second to last event before the semester ends and I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. I know it’s crazy, how we pack it all into a matter of weeks. I just thought we’d skip it.”

Celeste’s heart flooded with guilt as she thought about how the only thing piled on top of her the last few days was Zev. Her face drained of color. Calen’s eyes expressed concern.

“Are you still feeling ill? ’ Cause seriously, we don’t have to go if you’re not well. I’m actually feeling tired by all of it myself.”

Celeste shook her head. “Oh, no. We are definitely going. In fact, I wanted to ask your opinion of my costume.”

Celeste stood, pulled Calen up, and led him to her room.

They didn’t get too far past the threshold of Celeste’s doorway before they were locked in a tight embrace. Calen shut the door with his foot while Celeste yanked his belt from his waist. He lifted Celeste and sat her on the top of the vanity. Raising her dress past her thighs, his hands felt for her underwear.

“Looking for something?” Celeste whispered in his ear while her hands undid his pants and freed his cock from the fabric. His erection sprung up, ready to attend to her.

Calen’s fingers traveled further up her dress only to discover she wasn’t wearing any undergarments. He felt himself twitch in excitement.

“I missed you so much, C. I want you so bad,” he said between kisses.

Celeste reached over and pulled a condom from the top drawer of her vanity. She quickly unwrapped it and slid it along his hardened cock. It was so thick the thin latex covering could barely fit around it.

“I missed you, too, Calen. I missed you so much I physically hurt,” she replied and knew she was telling him the truth. She had missed him. Her feelings for Calen confused her even more.

Calen reached around her dress and began to unzip the back.

“There’s no time for that, Calen, please,” she begged. “I want you inside me now, fuck undressing…just fuck me.”

Calen was turned on by her unbridled yearning, she could smell his arousal. She also sensed his apprehension. He recognized the difference within her, but he wasn’t going to push it. Celeste grasped him tight. She also felt the change within her. She wasn’t sure how she was different, but something had happened when she fully accepted her wolf. Her level of desire seemed more intense, more needing of him, more…more.

“Forget what I said earlier,” Calen said, breathless. He held his erection in his hand and positioned it in front of Celeste’s wet and ready pussy. “If this is how you greet me when you return, we definitely should spend more time apart.”

Celeste cried out as Calen thrust into her in one rough go. She spread her legs as far as she could, but she couldn’t make herself big enough for him in time. She felt herself stretch as Calen shoved himself into her hot cunt. Though the aggressive maneuver stung initially, she reveled in the fullness of Calen as he thrust himself repeatedly inside her.

From her position sitting on the vanity, she could only angle herself up by leaning back against the mirror. Her head hit the smooth surface repeatedly before Calen lifted her forward and picked her up. He pulled her from his cock and stood her up, turned her around, and bent her over ass up, facing the mirror.

“Don’t move,” he demanded as he stepped back and threw her dress over her hips, exposing her naked backside. Stepping back further, he admired his view.

“Lean on your elbows,” he ordered. Celeste followed his directive. The wolf inside her poked her head up. What’s this? Another male? The wolf could sense his power. She was intrigued by it. Odd. Her beast had never shown itself with Calen before.

“I want you to look into the mirror. Keep your eyes open. I want you to watch me fuck you, do you understand?”

Celeste nodded. Her heart beat wildly. Her wolf was already on all fours, begging him to take her. Celeste looked in the mirror and
saw him approach her. With his foot, he spread her legs further, revealing her dripping wet pussy.

Calen shuddered in anticipation. He rubbed her ass a few times before slapping it once—hard. Celeste’s eyes rolled back.

  “Eyes forward.”

Celeste’s air caught in her throat and she obeyed. She was all his.

Calen held on to her hips so Celeste wouldn’t squirm before he pressed himself into her once more, this time with the understanding he would not stop until she came to oblivion.

  Celeste screamed her pleasure.

“Yes! Oh God, Calen, you feel so good!”

Calen pounded into Celeste from behind, Celeste’s wolf releasing levels of pleasure that were inhumanly possible. Over and over, Celeste felt Calen’s cock push and pull, in and out of her, skin slapping against skin as he bumped up against her rear end when fully inserted, and the intense radiating pulse she felt as he brushed up against the rough spot of flesh on the roof of her pussy as he pulled out. When she began to tighten, Calen released one hip and, never losing his rhythm, slid his hand around to her front, finding the swollen button of flesh that was hardened and poking out from between her pussy’s lips. After tracing circles around her clit a few times, he ran his fingers through the tight hair there before going back to it.

Celeste watched it all through the mirror. She watched Calen’s expression turn feral as he worked her over. He brought his eyes to the mirror and met Celeste’s gaze in the reflection. He held it. She saw in his expression something she had never noticed before. He looked masterful and in control, not the obedient gentleman he normally played. His green eyes were dark and glassy. They bore into Celeste’s very existence.

Celeste gasped. This was the man she would spend the rest of her life with, she was sure of it. She exploded around him, her body tremoring with each sudden burst of her orgasm. Calen pressed his fingers down on her clit as her orgasm hit and with one massive thrust, pushed himself as far into her as he could. His erection violently pumped into her, though there was little room for him to move inside her tight cavern.

Calen grabbed Celeste’s hip harder to steady himself from the orgasm that ripped his world into two. His eyelids fluttered and his legs trembled as he struggled to hold his position. Celeste placed her hands flat on the vanity and angled her chest lower onto the smooth surface, her nipples touching the sleek top of the furniture, and raised her hips up to take in as much of Calen as she could.

Celeste squeezed and pulled every drop of what Calen offered from his cock with her pussy. The muscles seized and tightened with even the slightest movement as both she and Calen’s orgasm came to an excruciatingly slow end.

When Celeste’s breathing returned to normal, she pushed herself up and looked at the image in the mirror. Calen was still inside her. She felt his cock move deliciously in her with every muscle flex and twinge. Her inner wolf growled, but it was in satisfaction. It stretched out its front paws and arched its back in a long release before turning and walking back into her cave.

  Satisfied.

Calen took hold of the base of his shaft and held it firmly before slowly pulling out of Celeste. Her body squiggled every which way as several tiny aftershocks radiated through her.

Calen deposited the condom in the trash before placing his hands on Celeste’s back and rubbing its length.

“Come here,” he said as he pulled her into his arms. Celeste gladly turned into his chest. He wrapped her in his embrace before taking one hand and tucking a long, dark lock behind her ear.

“You are my life,” he said, kissing each cheek, her forehead, her nose, her chin, her lips. “I cannot imagine living without you. You have pulled me in, Celeste. I am completely and totally yours.”

Celeste’s heart broke in half. It shattered, and the sharp fragments sliced her insides. She wasn’t sure what she was going to do. How was she going to tell him she had slept with Zev? How could she explain it wasn’t just once either, that there would be other times? How would she even begin to explain the connection between her and Zev? Was it even possible? Calen would think she was absolutely insane.

But she couldn’t hold it in any longer. She knew it would kill her if she did. Celeste pulled away from Calen and sat on the bed, her head down.

“I have to say something,” she said.

Calen was silent, save for his breathing. She could hear the heaviness of it as it filled the room.

She forced herself to look up at him. He deserved that much. No, he deserved so much more, and it sickened her she was about to break his heart.

“Calen,” she said looking up into his brilliant green eyes. “When I went to my parents’ house this weekend, I…I didn’t tell you the whole truth.”

Calen’s face drained of color. “What are you talking about? I thought you were at home taking care of family stuff.”

“I was. I was, but I wasn’t alone. Someone else was there.” Celeste’s voice was barely audible. “Someone who we both know.”

Calen’s mouth formed a straight line, his chest heaved up and down as his breathing grew ragged.

“I…I don’t know how to say this, but I…I…” She stopped. The words simply would not come out.

“What is it, Celeste? What are you saying?” There was an edge to his voice. She could tell his frustration was growing.

“I went to my parents’ house alone. Then…Zev arrived. And, he stayed there…with me. We…um, we…”

“Stop.” His voice was cold. There was an edge to it. “I don’t want to hear it.” Tears were forming in his eyes. “Please, Celeste, I’m begging you, don’t say what it is you’re going to say. Don’t ruin this. Please.”

Tears were already streaming down her cheeks. Celeste didn’t even try to hide the shame as it streaked down her face. She was ashamed. Ashamed and saddened and embarrassed, and she knew there was no other way.

“Calen, I didn’t know what it would lead to…I knew I had a connection with him, but I didn’t understand what I felt for him was as real as it was.” Celeste stood and took a step toward Calen. He stepped back out of her reach. She stopped, each fragmented piece of her heart split and dripped blood. Oh God, it hurt.

“Did it mean anything? Was it just sex, or was it something else?” Calen’s voice was hard, robotic. It sounded foreign coming out of his mouth. It hurt Celeste’s ears.

“Calen, it’s not that simple, it’s—”

“Yes, it is. It is that fucking simple, Celeste. You either have feelings for him, or you don’t.”

Celeste flinched and covered her face with her hands, pulling them through her hair.

“Calen, I love you. I love you more than anyone I know. You bring out a side of me I never knew existed. You are my greatest love.” She hesitated. “But, I’d be lying if I said it was just sex between Zev and I. We are connected in a way that supersedes intellect. And, I know that sounds insane, but Zev and I are connected in a very basic physiological way that is hard to understand.”

Calen scoffed. It was a steely sound out of place on his lips. He began dressing.

“I know it makes no sense, but it’s true. It’s confusing and sounds ridiculous, but it’s the truth. And, no matter how much I love and care for and choose to be with you…I cannot not be with Zev. And, I’m so sorry. I’m so, so sorry, Calen.”

Calen waited until Celeste finished speaking before he quietly fastened his pants, then without a word, turned and exited the bedroom. He left the apartment not turning back once. Celeste sat on the bed and sobbed into her pillow.

  * * * *

Calen entered Sigma Alpha Epsilon two hours and six beers later. He had run over the flowerbed in his attempt to park, a masterful and lucky feat, considering it was the only thing destroyed. He shouldn’t have been driving at all. He was well over the legal limit and would have been hauled off to jail if pulled over. Calen stumbled into the house, his shirt and slacks dirtied from falling into the soil bed as he exited the vehicle.

; He heard Zev’s laugh echo down the staircase from his room upstairs. An uncontrolled forest fire exploded in his chest. Calen ran up the stairs two at a time until he reached the landing and headed directly to Zev’s room at the end of the hall.

Cutter and Murphy were just leaving when Calen passed through the doorway. He pushed them aside.

“Whoa. Are you getting ready for tonight or what, Calen?” Cutter asked as his house president entered the room.

Calen ignored him and made a beeline for Zev.

“Motherfucker!” Calen yelled and took a swing at Zev’s face.

The punch connected with Zev’s jaw. A sickening thud pierced the collective shock of Cutter, Murphy, and Zev. Zev fell to the ground. Calen, rage fully in control, and now with the upper hand in the situation, pounced on Zev and hit him with a series of punches to his face and head.

“What the fuck!” Cutter and Murphy jumped on Calen before he was able to knock Zev unconscious. They pulled him off their brother. “Calen! What the fuck is going on? Calen what happened?” They held him back, each gripping one of his arms. Calen struggled to be released but was unable to. Both the drop in adrenaline and the alcohol had sucked the last remaining lines of his strength.

Zev stood and wiped his bloodied mouth with the back of his hand. He spit some blood out onto the floor. Calen had taken him by surprise, and his wolf wanted to rip his throat out, but he suspected he knew the reason for this attack, and there was no way he would cause any more pain to Celeste.

“Let him go,” Zev ordered Cutter and Murphy.

The two looked at each other unsure.

  “Zev, man…is it—”

“I said let him go.” Zev growled. He flashed his dark eyes at the two brothers. The boys let Calen go. Calen stood up as straight as he could and ran his hand over his mouth, his chest heaving, his glare filled with daggers shot in Zev’s direction.

“Get. Out.” He spoke to the two underclassmen, though his eyes never left Calen’s gaze. “We’ll be fine. I’m sure this is all just a misunderstanding. Nothing a small chat between brothers can’t fix, right, Red?”
