Raul could have sworn someone blew cold air over him.
Bella whimpered and tried to curl up.
“Shh, Little Wolf, we’ll help where we can,” Raul said, running his hand over her, as did Lucid. They stared at the precious bundle in their arms in silence. The danger wasn’t over, but Raul had his family close by his side. Now all they had to do was help Mario find his destiny.

Adish ran his fingers over Sana-Sun’s skin; she carried the same marks Bella did. One of his sons had made it through his journey. Now it was time for his next son to begin the trip to find his destiny. But first Raul would be allowed to gather his family and people to prepare for what was to come.

Let’s just hope he finds her before they do,” he whispered against the top of her head. “Sleep.” Adish sent her to sleep, needing time to plan with what leeway Sana-Sun’s father would give him to help Mario. Yes, Mario would have a tougher road to follow, but he also had a determination like none other.
Adish pulled the sheet over their bodies and closed his eyes. “You have a week before you must leave, my son,” he sent to Mario, hoping he’d listen.
