A police officer, with his hand on his waist pistol, crept down the hall. Starr and Monica slid the weapons underneath the destroyed purse the moment the officer hit the corner.

“Hi, ladies,” he greeted them both, oblivious to what was just taking place between the two of them. “Have you seen or heard any suspicious activity, such as a weird noises circulating in this hall?” The officer gestured around. He was slightly turned on by the fact that Starr had one plump breast out from Monica tearing her shirt open while they fought. The officer noticed both Monica and Starr were sweating. He noticed scratches on their forehead, and a red lip from it being filled with blood. The destruction was so great; he didn’t notice the tiny bullet holes above his head. The moment he turned to look above his head Starr ripped Monica’s shirt, exposing her juicy breast as well. The officer raised an eyebrow.

“What are you ladies doing in this hall? What happened to your faces and clothing?” the officer asked. Police heat was the last thing on Monica’s and Starr’s minds to have as they knew it would lead them and the Double Gs into unwanted trouble.

“I’m so sorry, Officer. See, we’re lovers and got a little carried away. We’ve been really, really naughty and we would enjoy making it up to you by any means necessary,” Starr lustfully said. She and Monica slowly leaned in on each other, both with a facial expressions that said, “This is not over.” They kissed each other, then continued to further the charade. The officer’s manhood begin to stiffen. From the corner of Monica’s eye, she realized the plan was working, but something else was rising.

She could feel Starr’s nipples harden as if she was turned on. Monica begin to think she couldn’t be so hated if she could turn her on. She herself became sexually excited. It was the same feeling you get when as a kid you got a toy you couldn’t get. The officer tipped his hat and twirled his wedding ring. As much as he wanted to join in, he was a faithful man, knowing he had a wife and kids at home to lose and take care of.

“Okay, that’s enough convincing for me. Just take it to your room. Probably kids and shit around here.” The officer paced back down the hall. He stepped into the elevator and, as he waited for the door to close, he couldn’t keep his eyes off of Starr and Monica.

As soon as he was gone, Monica and Starr continued to tear each other apart. They stumbled as Starr grabbed Monica by the hair and dragged her by it. They stumbled back into the room. In the midst of their struggle, Starr managed to retrieve both Monica’s pistol and her TEC-9. She took the clip out of the TEC-9 and tossed it, then did the same with Monica’s custom 1911. She cocked it back and out popped the bullet in the chamber.

“Let’s finish this shit,” Monica stated as she hopped back up on her feet.

Starr chanted as she tackled Monica onto the bed. She raised her hand like she was throwing a fist, only to land it on herself, ripping the rest of her clothing off. Once she was done, she ripped Monica’s clothing off, violently. She rolled on top of Monica, turning her over on her back. She grabbed hold of Monica’s hair as she leaned down with her ass at a ninety-degree angle. Licking and fingering Monica’s sugar walls like her life depended on it, all the emotions she had that day were taken out between Monica’s inner thighs. Monica moaned loud, basking in the glory of the shotgun platter she was being served. She couldn’t believe their violent fight turned into a passionate escapade.

They both stared at each other, breathing uncontrollably, knowing they may be the most fucked-up lesbian couple ever. Monica reached out and caressed Starr’s face in a loving way.

“I still love you,” Monica whispered.

Starr’s eyes widened. The words went through her, ear directly into her cerebellum, and secreted the max amount of dopamine like an explosion. She wasn’t expecting Monica to say that after a full-blown shootout and fistfight. It caused her to flash back to the moment Diamond asked her to choose between the two. The choice was obvious now.

“I still love you too,” Starr admitted.

Monica nodded. She moved in closer and stepped into Starr’s embrace.

  Chapter 30

Starr pressed the doorbell with urgency as if she was waiting far longer than she should have. The porch light came on and illuminated the darkness. Night was fast approaching. A car’s engine could be heard rumbling close behind.

“Coming!” a female voice from inside shouted.

The door swung open. Diamond stood in the doorway with her feet planted, her arms folded, and a face of uncertainty. She locked eyes with Starr. “So is it done?” Diamond questioned.

Starr didn’t respond. She was at a loss for words. There was no way she could explain what happened and how it happened that wouldn’t piss Diamond off. She had chosen Monica. Not only did she not kill her, but she made love to her with greater passion than she ever did with Diamond. This is the end of the rope, she thought.

Diamond was pretty, but she was far from stupid. She could read Starr like MapQuest. She could tell something wasn’t right. Starr didn’t appear like someone who had just murdered someone they once loved or cared about. Starr’s demeanor had her mind wondering. Diamond looked over Starr’s shoulder. It was then she got the answer to her question. Monica, with a bruised face, sipped a steaming cup of coffee in the passenger seat.

Before Starr could say anything, it was clear what had happened. Starr noticed the shift in Diamond’s eyes. It caused her to look down in shame.

“I’m sorry,” Starr started to say but then was interrupted.

“Save it! How could you, after all I’ve done for you? After all she’s done to you!” Diamond spat aggressively. Monica clocked Diamond with a squinted eye as she sipped on her drink.

“You just don’t understand,” Starr tried to explain.

“Damn right I don’t! I thought you were better than that. I thought we were better than that. You choose this bitch over me?” Diamond let out a laugh of pity. “You used to be my bitch. Now you back with that bitch, and you think I’m not gonna express how I feel about this decision?” Diamond claimed.

“I know, but I feel something with her that I can’t feel with you. I’ve tried, I really have. We can make love from morning to night, and it’s not there. I feel empty inside with you. You understand?” Starr stated.

“I understand completely. Like when you love someone, and they say they love you too, but deep down you know they don’t. So you hold back so you don’t get hurt, but in the end, you never can really tell what’s going to happen. Sort of like this,” Diamond stated.

The statement hit Starr hard. Regardless, her mind was made up. “A person once told me it takes courage to follow what you want in life. Be outspoken, follow your heart, whatever it speaks to you. It spoke to me. Have you forgotten why Queen Fem even started the Double Gs?” Starr stated.

Diamond shook her head. She stared at the ground. “I remember. I told you that,” Diamond remembered.

Starr leaned over and hugged Diamond tight. She kissed her on the cheek. “I want you to lead the Double Gs,” Starr whispered.

Diamond’s eyes widened. She was honored, but also worried. “What are you saying? Are you leaving the group?” Diamond spat.

“I just don’t know. I need to get away for a while. I think you would run the group as powerfully as I could. I’ll clear it with Queen Fem,” Starr shot.

Diamond’s eyes became glossy. She nodded. “I’m down. Double Gs for life, sister,” Diamond said.

  “Double Gs for life, leader.”

Starr’s words would linger in Diamond’s head for several nights to come. Diamond watched as Starr swayed down the driveway into the dark car. Starr planted her hand on the gear, shifting it into drive. Monica locked eyes with Diamond she slowly smiled and threw up the middle finger. Diamond was pissed. She wanted to run up on Monica and wrap her hands around her throat but, before she could, the car drove off.

  Chapter 31

Queen Fem sat in front of an illuminated television screen. A smile appeared on her fa
ce, hearing the news about the vacated bill. Pearly whites, with a gold strip in between the front two, revealed themselves as she had just watched the live broadcast of Rick Sinclair. The news stations and studios went into a frenzy as Rick Sinclair avoided all questions as he fought to break free of the stage’s podium. Viral videos of crew members who recorded it on their phones had hits.

Queen Fem chuckled. “Good job, Double Gs.” Queen Fem grinned.

Her disposable flip phone rang out, interrupting her news. She kept a disposable phone, so the dangers of it being tapped or tracked were slim to none. She answered and pressed the body of the cell phone to her ear. She nodded as she was fed information.

“I’ll be there. You just make sure you’re prepared for what’s planned,” Queen Fem stated.

She was fed more information. She leaned over, peeping out the window of the undisclosed building she resided in. Outside was a car with its engine running and its headlights turned off.

“Just let me know when it’s done,” Queen Fem spat before hanging up the phone. She leaned over, gently moving the curtains over to peep out the window in a way she would be seen. The car that waited outside flipped its headlights on. Queen Fem nodded.

As she made her way to her side door, the sound of her front door buzzer stopped her in her tracks. She knew it had to be Mirage.

Outside the door, a gloved hand with a silenced pistol had walked stealthily up to Queen Fem’s buzzer. The gloved hand belonged to a masked man who had a death grip around Mirage’s neck, with his free hand over her mouth, as he steered her toward the buzzer.

“Speak, bitch! Speak!” the masked man spat, after pressing it. He pushed the barrel of his pistol in her kidney to demonstrate he meant business.

“It’s me. Let me up!” Mirage stated.

The masked man waited. The buzzer turned green; the door was opened. The masked man waved his pistol toward four more masked men, all armed with assault rifles. It was going down.

They all walked behind the masked man who held on tight to Mirage. Guns were aimed at every part of her body as they all walked down the dark hall.

They stopped in front of a black door; it had a gold panel with the numbers 357 in its center. The masked man shoved Mirage’s shoulder with the barrel of his rifle. The tears in her eyes blurred her vision. She sniffed to keep her mucus from dripping. As she cleared her vision, she noticed a pendant on the mat below the door. It was of a golden shotgun. She felt a gleam of hope. She then grabbed hold of the doorknob and fidgeted with it.

“Please, I can’t. I—” Mirage’s sentence was cut short as she was pushed out of the way.

This was exactly what she wanted as one masked man hovered over her, pointing his weapon. Because they didn’t pat her down, they never knew she had the small chrome Rossi attached to her ankle.

The masked man kicked the door open only to get a chest full of shotgun pellets.

The impact pushed him to the hall, killing him instantly. Mirage grabbed hold of the ankle Rossi revolver and took out two other men. Boom boom. They hit the ground hard.

The shotgun was not held by anyone but was connected by a rope, in a pulley system attached to the trigger so that when the door was opened, it went off. The last man sprayed his machine gun into the halls and room; Mirage rolled out of the way.

“Ahhh, motherfuckers!” The masked man shouted as he let off rounds like a madman.

Queen Fem stepped out of the closet swinging the butt of an AK-47 to the masked man’s head the moment his assault rifle clicked out of ammo. It knocked him unconscious.

“You’re a dead bitch,” the man mumbled.

Queen Fem chuckled. “Maybe so, but today it’s gonna be you. Right after I get some info out, though,” Queen Fem calmly stated.

Queen Fem and Mirage dragged the masked man in a similar fashion to the way he had dragged Mirage. Once they tossed him in the trunk full of reptiles, Queen Fem gently slapped him on the cheek to wake him out of his unconscious state. His eyes were bulging out of his head as he struggled to even lift a finger.

“What the fuck are you doing?” the man asked.

“Until you tell me who sent you, it’s gonna be very hard for you, you understand?” Queen Fem stated.

The man began to shout. “Fuck you!” he barked.

Queen Fem nodded. “I see you’re trying to be a true ride or die, huh? Well, enjoy the ride, because it’s gonna be long one,” Queen Fem said without remorse. “Oh, and words of advice, all that screaming is just gonna deplete your oxygen and anger the snakes. Cheers.” Queen Fem playfully gestured as she slammed the car trunk.

  Chapter 32

The dark Dodge Dart pulled up to the side of a gray station wagon parked alone in an abandoned parking lot. A basketball court was positioned in front of the parking lot. The leaning rusty pole with a basket at the top didn’t look like it had been used in quite some time by any neighborhood kids. Judging by the bullet holes embedded into the backboard, you could tell it was a bad part of town. Monica rolled the window down, leaving only her hazel eyes revealed.

The dark Dodge Dart rolled its window down all the way. A white man appeared, with pitch-black sunglasses on his face. He dropped the butt of a cigarette on the graffitied pavement below.

“Make this quick. McCarthy’s team just shoved their own heads up their asses, and I’m supposed to pull them out,” the mystery man spat.

“The last job we did, it was just that. We’re done. I’m done,” Monica stated.

The mystery man shook his head. A soft chuckle of disbelief crossed his mind. “Done? Ha, you’re not done. Would’ve been if I didn’t have to clean up after you, seeing as that little stunt you pulled made a heap of shit at the station. McCarthy’s looking for you,” the mystery man stated.

“Just tell him I disappeared and will take care of everything else like always,” Monica stated.

The mystery man shook his head once more. “See, it’s not that simple on this level. The notoriety of the Double Gs is higher than every other organization in this city right now. Besides, you said you want out,” the mystery man stated.

“Don’t even try to do that shit,” Monica spat before holding a barrel through the window slit.

“What good will killing me do? Huh? Think before you act. Because, without me, you’re fucking lost! Nobody in the feds will help you anymore. I’m the pathway to that bridge and once it’s broken the only other way across is the wetlands,” the mystery man stated.

“Cops and robbers get killed every day, and people come up missing every day,” Monica stated, tugging at her trigger finger.

Starr, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, got a ring on her flip burner phone. She placed it to her ear with a face of concern. She batted her eyes to the back of Monica’s head. “Is that you?” Starr whispered, recognizing the voice.

“That’s right. I need you to listen to me carefully. Are you and Monica in a parking lot?” Queen Fem asked.

Starr’s eyes began to wander. How could she possibly know where we are? she wondered. Starr began looking around the parking lot. There was not a soul in sight. Nothing but the dark Dodge Dart. A rustle of wind caused her eyes to shift toward the bushes. The barrel of a rifle pointed directly at them. Monica was completely unaware as she zoned in on the mysterious man.

“Yeah. How do you know?” Starr spat.

Monica saw the unusual look on Starr’s face and lowered her pistol from the window.

“A masked . . . Look, it’s a long story. All you need to know now is that you need to get the fuck out of there. They’re planning to kill that man, kill Monica, and frame you for it,” Queen Fem stated.

Starr gulped as she wondered how she could get out of the situation. Her radar device showed multiple police cruisers fast approaching as Monica continued to chat.

“Change of plans on the location, too. They found the safe house. I’m moving underground. As for you, the only way out is to go down, catch my drift?” Queen Fe
m spat before hanging up the phone. Starr shoved Monica’s arm to get her attention.

“That’s that, you understand?” Monica said to the mystery man. She then turned her head toward Starr who shifted the gear into reverse. Monica was confused. “What are you doing?” Monica questioned.

“This is a setup. All it ever was,” Starr spat.

“Who was that on the phone?” Monica continued to question.

“An old friend,” Starr responded as she quickly revved the engine, spinning the vehicle in reverse just moments before the mystery man was killed through the dashboard of his dark Dodge Dart. His head slammed on the horn of the car, making it sound off.

“What the fuck? Who the hell is that?” Monica questioned. Her eyes began to survey the area. She saw a glare coming from the bushes right before she heard the shots.

Boom. Boom. The sniper man in the bushes shot Monica and Starr’s car. Boom. Boom. Two more shots were let off. The back window was blown completely out by the powerful impact of the super sniper bullet. Starr raced off the road, speeding toward a short cliff.

Officers in the area got static on their radio. “Shots fired! I repeat, shots fired!” a voice stated. Inside of police cruisers, bulletproofed officers clutched shotguns and M16s as they put the pedals to the metal.

“En route, at Old Parkway Drive, parking lot C. All units in and around the area, proceed with caution! A federal agent has been hit!” the radio stated.

Back at the parking lot, the man in the bushes rose up. He tossed the sniper weapon to the grass, removed the clothing he wore, and replaced it with an FBI jacket and his badge. He walked over to the dead agent, snatched his sunglasses off of his warm, dead head, and put them onto his head. He smiled as police cruisers rushed past him toward Starr and Monica.
