72-hour Survival Kit
This list describes the contents of a 72-Hour Survival Kit (“Bug out Bag”) for a family. Such a kit must be easy to access (so do not store it in the basement or the attic, etc.) and stored in a bag that is easy to transport (backpack or sporting bag). You can customize the contents—there are many videos on YouTube outlining different approaches—but, at the very least, it should include the following:
