Copping an Attitude

  Lonnie wanted inside.

Poking at Parker’s entrance with his tongue, he nudged it, forcing the hardened tip past Parker’s resistant ring of muscle. He slid it in just enough to revel in the vise-like grip around him, to taste his musky flavor. Lonnie wriggled the small appendage inside Parker, ecstatic at Parker’s response as he fucked him with his tongue. Parker whimpered and cried, thrusting back as if he was begging with his hole.

Lonnie exited Parker’s backside, licking his lips. Parker let out a loud sigh.

“Jesus, Lonnie. Fuck. You’re making me dizzy from that amazing tongue of yours.”

“Mmm, you taste awesome. Plan on me making you dizzy a lot.” He kissed Parker’s butt cheek, giving it a soft bite before letting go. “Now I need to slick you up.”

He reluctantly let go of Parker to wrestle the lube open with his impaired hand. Once he’d coated the fingers of his good one thoroughly, he sought out Parker’s opening, smearing the liquid around his pucker, softening him even further than his oral attentions had. He pressed his digit gently against Parker’s entrance until it popped in. Parker’s hole grasped him, flexing around it. It was so fucking hot watching him, experiencing every nuance of his body as it reacted to everything Lonnie did.

He slid his finger farther in, sinking it to his first knuckle, then twisting gently.

  “Oh, fucking hell. Yeah.”

Encouraged by Parker’s words, Lonnie slid in and out of his hole, poking him repeatedly. Parker rolled his hips, rocking forward and back, still begging. Lonnie removed his finger then breached Parker’s entrance again with two. He pushed in deeper, crooking his digits, seeking the fat gland that would rock Parker’s world.

  “Fuck, Lonnie!”

Parker had jerked forward. Lonnie couldn’t hold Parker still with his injured arm, so he lifted his knees until he’d blocked Parker’s shoulders—effectively trapping him so that he’d have no choice but to take whatever Lonnie gave him. Lonnie gave him three fingers.

It was a marvel watching Parker gyrate and squirm as Lonnie played with his asshole, sinking his digits in over and over. He sped up, loving how soft and hot Parker was from the inside. He kept up his ministrations but leaned in to take another bite of Parker’s rear.

Lonnie was agonizingly close to shooting his load, Parker’s vulnerability to him so intoxicating. He needed Parker wrapped around his dick before he let go, so he eased his fingers out of him.

Parker had been nuzzling Lonnie’s thighs, his knees—Parker’s light stubble leaving a faint rash behind. Lonnie lowered his legs and Parker fell forward. It gave Lonnie the opportunity to tear open the condom then roll it down his length. He closed his eyes to slow his breathing, get himself in check. The sight of Parker so open and willing mere inches from Lonnie’s face would only send him over the edge that much quicker.

Ready to enter his new lover for the first time, Lonnie allowed himself a good look. There wasn’t the slightest chance he would miss out on seeing Parker’s stretched hole as it swallowed up his cock.

Lonnie guided Parker the best he could, but it was tough with only one hand. Parker seemed to sense his dilemma, reaching behind him to feel for the tip of Lonnie’s shaft. The brush of Parker’s fingers on his overly sensitized end did him in. He hissed and let go of Parker completely before grabbing himself at his base and squeezing hard.

  “Wait, wait.”

It was disconcerting to be so turned on to someone. With his tricks it had taken what felt like feats of magic to either get it up at all or—God forbid—to come. Parker’s mere existence was all the aphrodisiac Lonnie would ever need.

He exhaled. “Okay, I’m okay. Lower yourself on me.”

  God, I’m so pushy.

  “Please.”

“No begging necessary, honey.” Parker spoke erratically, panting. “I can’t wait to feel you all the way inside me, giving it to me.”

Parker bore down on Lonnie’s stiff flesh and Lonnie stared in wonder as he breached Parker’s tight ring, the grip and heat unbelievably good. There was resistance at first, but then Parker’s snug passage gradually relaxed around Lonnie’s cock. Lonnie ran one hand up Parker’s flat belly, along his ribs then skimmed over his erect nipples. Playing with first one then the other, he teased them, keeping them pointed as Parker moaned and fucked himself on Lonnie’s dick.

But Lonnie had to move. Every time Parker seated himself, Lonnie met him with a strong thrust. He would’ve given almost anything to be able to grasp Parker’s cheeks with both hands and spread them wide as he pounded up into his slick channel. Parker leaned back, arching his spine and Lonnie pinched his taut nubs harder. He nibbled on Parker’s shoulder blades, licked his salty skin, their coupling increasing in its fervor.

Their motion was fluid and Lonnie was struck by how emotional it all was. They weren’t having sex—they were making love. He finally understood.

His balls tightened, but he kept his orgasm at arm’s length, hoping that Parker would be there with him at the same time. He slammed harder into Parker, his cockhead hitting Parker’s insides, skating over his gland with each plunge. Parker’s cries increased in volume as a fine sheen of sweat covered them both. Lonnie lowered his hand to wrap it around Parker’s shaft and that was when Lonnie felt the first glorious pulses of Parker coming around him. Warmth erupted over his fingers and he released, crying out, pumping his hips jerkily until he collapsed against the headboard. The waning spasms in Parker’s channel made him twitch a few times as the last drops of cum were milked out of him.

Parker lay back in his arms, panting heavily. Lonnie kept his one hand flat across Parker’s chest, a sensation of possessiveness washing over him.

  He’s mine.

The intensity of the thought startled him. He’d never been compelled that way toward a lover. Of course, his only attempt at anything like a real relationship had been with Chad, and that hadn’t progressed very far. He didn’t want to get all weird and jealous, but he wanted Parker. Parker was his.

  Chapter Nine

Bliss. Complete and utter bliss. Lying back in Lonnie’s embrace was perfect. Everything about him tripped Parker’s triggers. Even the ones he’d never known he’d had. It had never entered his mind that he would love having a guy order him around in bed. But giving himself over to Lonnie’s will had been exciting, and exposing himself so shamelessly under Lonnie’s guidance had been fucking hot.

He made a sound of protest as Lonnie’s shaft softened, slipping from his body. Lonnie wedged a hand between them, no doubt grabbing the condom. He worried that he might be squashing his lover, but Lonnie hadn’t loosened his hold. It was almost as if Lonnie was taking care of him when Parker had assumed that he’d be the one doing the caretaking.

“That was amazing Parker, thank you.”

Lonnie lightly stroked his chest and Parker smiled. It had meant a lot to Parker that their first time together be a positive experience for Lonnie since Parker didn’t completely know what sort of traumatic sexual history the young man might have.

“I should be the one thanking you. Wow. I might never top again.”

There was an immediate change in Lonnie’s body language, definite tension had crept in. Parker laid his hand over Lonnie’s, stilling his motions.

  “Talk to me, honey.”

He felt Lonnie shift under him and decided he needed to move off Lonnie’s body before he hurt him. He settled on his side so he could see Lonnie’s sweet face. He traced a finger around the fading scar lining his eye socket.

  “It’s still pretty ugly, huh.”

“No. It’s not ugly, but it pisses me off. I think if I weren’t a cop and I ran into those guys somewhere…”

“Don’t. Not on my account. I don’t want to be a bad influence on you.”

“What—? Is that what you think?”

Lonnie scooted down so that they faced one another. “I dunno. I don’t wanna come in here and turn your world upside down, change everything about you.”
>
Parker brushed Lonnie’s hair back from his eyes. He liked the way it fell through his fingers. “That’s not what’s happening here. If I change it would be because I decided I wanted to. That I decided that changing was a better thing for me to do.”

“So… Were you just kidding about not wanting to top anymore?”

Parker chuckled. He’d figured it had been something to do with that. “Sort of.” He locked eyes with Lonnie, anxious that he see the truth in them. “Except that bottoming has never been so good for me. I guess what I meant is that if it’s always that great, why would I ever want to top?”

“But you would if I asked you too, right?”

“That’s important to you, isn’t it?”

Lonnie appeared confused as he drew his eyebrows together. “Whaddya mean?”

“You like being in control, being in charge of me in bed.”

A fierce blush crawled up Lonnie neck and into his cheeks. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to—”

Parker cut him off with a kiss. He threw himself into reassuring Lonnie with his tongue, his lips. He claimed Lonnie’s mouth over and over until they were both breathless once again. Finally breaking away, he kept his hand at Lonnie’s nape.

“Don’t be sorry. I fucking loved it. I had no idea it would make me so hot.”

Lonnie chuckled. “Yeah. Me neither.” He chewed on one side of his bottom lip. “So, are we, like, boyfriends now?”

Parker’s heart ached in a good way. Lonnie filled it to overflowing.

  “I’d like that—if it’s okay with you.”

A genuine smile lit up Lonnie’s face. “It’s definitely okay with me.”

“Excellent. Then what does my boyfriend want from me now?”

  “Hold me.”

Parker melted a little inside. “C’mere.”

He enfolded Lonnie in his arms, reminded of the reality of the young man’s circumstances from not too long before. He knew the abrupt changes in Lonnie’s life had to be both comforting and frightening at the same time. Parker’s only desire was to be there for whatever and however Lonnie needed him. Knowing that Lonnie had experienced a great deal of trauma over an extended period of time meant that their road together might not be too easy. Parker hoped that he would always do the right thing by his new lover—no matter what that might mean.

He inhaled Lonnie’s slightly musky scent, the combined smell of their sexual encounter still pungent. They faced one another with their limbs tangled together, their soft dicks nestled against the other. Lonnie’s breathing evened out and Parker lay very still, not wanting to disturb him—he knew Lonnie still needed the rest.

After a while, Parker’s lids became heavy and he shut his eyes. His thoughts drifted around, touching on various moments from his brief acquaintanceship with Lonnie. Before sleep took him, Parker cradled Lonnie closer. He marveled at how well he and Lonnie fit together.

  * * * *

His first week living with Parker had been filled with stops and starts. There had been plenty of intense lovemaking, laughter, long talks—then unexpected tensions. He took all the blame. He knew it was his stupid fears and insecurities fucking with him. What made him angry was that it was fucking with what he wanted more than anything—a lasting relationship with Parker.

Parker had suggested the previous day that maybe Lonnie might want to see a counselor. It was right as Parker had been getting ready for his shift and Lonnie had blown up at him. Almost immediately he’d been mortified by his own behavior, but that hadn’t made him feel any better about it. He didn’t want Parker to get tired of his shit and not want to be with him anymore.

It didn’t even have anything to do with Lonnie needing a place to live. All that mattered to him was building a life with Parker. Where he built it made no difference to him. If it ever got to the point where Parker decided he didn’t want him around, he’d probably end up doing what Beau had suggested and move to another area. Why the hell would he want to stay in Vegas without Parker? Parker was the only good thing in the entire filthy town as far as he was concerned.

In an effort to be productive, he’d been endeavoring to be more handy in the kitchen. His previous specialties had been frozen burritos and cold cereal, so pretty much anything else he did would be considered really branching out. Valeena had always teased him about it until he’d challenged her to come up with something better. He’d been impressed with her ability to boil spaghetti and pour sauce over it that she’d heated from a jar.

He’d asked Parker to pick up those ingredients, plus a few others. He was going to try to jazz it up by adding fresh mushrooms to the sauce and real Parmesan cheese on top instead of the powdery kind his mom had always used.

Parker had come home from his shift close to seven a.m. Lonnie had stayed up as late as he could so that their schedules wouldn’t be too different. If it had been his old life, they really would’ve been exactly the same. But his body had been reprogrammed a bit since his hospital stay. Even though he’d tried to stay awake, he’d fallen asleep to the new Godzilla movie at some time past three. Worry over whether Parker would still be upset with him when he returned from work had made Lonnie really want to be up when he got there.

He’d woken up when Parker had climbed into bed after apparently shutting off the TV and DVD player. Lonnie had been pulled into the warmth of Parker’s embrace as he’d spooned around his body. He’d tried to say he was sorry, but Parker had shushed him then softly kissed his neck over and over until he’d drifted back to sleep.

Lonnie had finally snuck out of bed at around noon, knowing that Parker would get up somewhere between one and two. Spaghetti probably wasn’t the best breakfast in the world, but it beat Cheerios. He’d chopped the mushrooms and was pretty sure he hadn’t butchered them too badly. He’d also grated the cheese and had added some extra spices to the sauce simmering on the stove—it had tasted sorta bland when he’d sampled it. The water was ready to boil whenever Parker was ready to eat. Valeena had warned him about that. She’d told him not to cook the noodles too soon or they’d be sticky like glue and turn into a big messy blob.

  I hope she’s okay.

Sometimes his stomach would ache if he thought about her too much. It was easier if he focused on the things that made him feel good. Parker had pretty much become everything to him. He shifted back and forth on his feet, disquiet seeping in. He wasn’t stupid despite his lack of education. Getting upset at Parker about seeking outside help was not that surprising when he thought about it. It had nothing to do with Parker directly, but had everything to do with Lonnie’s desire to keep the rest of the world away from them. Parker was his and he didn’t want anyone to interfere with that. Buried inside him was the sneaking suspicion that Parker would come to his senses at some point and realize that he didn’t want someone like Lonnie in his life, in his home.

  A whore.

Tears burned behind his eyes and he blinked them away. It wouldn’t alleviate his insecurities if Parker were to catch him crying. There was no point in reminding Parker what a mess he was. He’d handle it on his own.

“Damn. Something smells incredible in here.”

Parker came up behind him and wrapped his arms around Lonnie’s frame. He nuzzled his neck.

“Mmm. Now I know what it is. It’s Eau de Lonnie.”

Lonnie snorted laughter. “I made some spaghetti. I know you just woke up, but I thought you might be hungry?”

Parker turned Lonnie in his arms then took his mouth in a slow, deep kiss. He retreated, murmuring in Lonnie’s ear.

  “Always hungry for you.”

Lonnie let out a sigh before he could stop it. It was a contented sound, but a little too much like a girl. Parker nibbled at his throat then moved lower until he’d clamped his lips over the valley of skin between Lonnie’s clavicle bones. Like Parker, Lonnie didn’t have on a shirt, the sleep pants being the only thing he wore. There was a suctioning pull on his flesh, the sensation sharp but pleasurable at the same time.

If Parker was going to mark him, Lonnie wanted to leave one on Parker too. Parker finished sucking on his skin then soothed the spot with his tongue. After angling his head, Lonnie placed his mouth on the side of Parker’s neck to do the same thing. Parker yanked away.

What felt like a fist wrapped around Lonnie’s stomach. “I… You don’t want…?”

Tears filled his eyes and one slipped out before he could stop it. He twisted his body to get away from Parker. Parker’s hold tightened, but Lonnie wouldn’t give in to him. At last, Parker let go and Lonnie ran into their…into Parker’s bedroom.

As soon as he hit the threshold, he stopped. It wasn’t right, the way he was acting. His heart hammered away, his throat tight as he tried to slow his breathing.

That was… Why did I do that?

Yeah. His feelings had gotten hurt because it hadn’t seemed as if Parker wanted Lonnie to mark him, that maybe the idea of being branded by a whore was repugnant to him. He pressed the heel of his palm against his eyes. He was fucked up. Really fucked up.

“Lonnie? If you need to be alone, I’ll understand. But I’d like to talk if that’s okay.”

Lonnie turned, shaking his head. “I don’t want to be alone. I want to know why I get so irritated over the dumbest things. Why the anger seems to grab hold of me until I can’t think straight.”

Parker took what seemed like a hesitant step toward him. “Then can we sit down for a minute and you can tell me what happened just now?”

Lonnie went inside the room and sat on the bed.

“Would you be more comfortable with me if we spoke out in the living room?”

Lonnie let out a heavy sigh.

I have Parker second-guessing everything around me now. Great.

He reached for Parker, offering his hand. There was an almost puzzled look on his face and Lonnie wanted to punch himself for being such a pain in the ass. Thankfully, Parker intertwined his fingers with Lonnie’s, but it was still disheartening to see Parker’s relieved expression.
