by Anna Edwards
"What does that mean?"
He kissed her belly.
"You have a part of both of us growing inside you. I thought after everything with Beth I never wanted children. I couldn't look after my wife let alone myself, but right now, right now, my life is complete. You are going to have to cope with me being more protective than James was with Amy, but you are pregnant with my kid. I'm ecstatic." He was quickly onto his feet and twirling her around in the air. "I'm going to be a daddy."
"Put me down." She squirmed.
He instantly lowered her to her feet.
"Did I hurt you?"
"No. I'd just rather you make love to me as opposed to swinging me around the room."
"Isn't that the same thing?" He sniggered.
"Dork."
"You're a dork. Now get that sweet little arse on the bed, Miss Anderson, it's time for me to put myself back home."
Sally Bridgewater
"Well, that was quite a show." The slow rhythmic clap alerted her to his presence.
"You set me up." Sally Bridgewater turned venomously on the man in front of her.
"All part of the plan."
"And when are you going to tell me what your goal is?"
"Soon. Real soon but for now, I think you've earned what you wanted."
"What I wanted?"
"A chance at the man that destroyed your life." She rubbed her hands together in glee. "I want you to fly to Los Angeles. All expenses paid of course. There is someone there that I 'd like you to meet."
"Who is she?"
"I didn't say it was a she."
"If it involves that man it will be a she. It's always she and normally not just one."
"Boy, we do have it bad for him."
"I hate his fucking guts and can't wait to destroy him."
"Tut, tut, tut, that bad in bed was he?"
She curled her lip.
"We both know I'm the best fuck you ever had."
"Yeah, you were, until you broke my jaw."
"An accident." He stroked her hand down his cheek.
"One I won't forget." He roughly grasped her breast and started to knead it. His hard cock pressed against her thigh. What was it about the bad boys she couldn't resist?
"How about I take it a little more gently this time." His hand moved from her breast down to her pussy. She was gone. He would have her again tonight. And tomorrow she would fly to Los Angeles. Her prey was in sight. He maybe a Hawk in his native roots but Grayson Moore was a pesky fly she was going to squash.

DEAR READER
Dear Reader,
I hope you enjoyed this book. I’d love it if you could post a review about it on Amazon and Goodreads. Getting reviews for my books is such a thrill as it allows me to see what readers enjoy or even, dislike about what I write. It’s all good for me to learn. Perhaps you could mention which is your favourite character and what parts you like best. You could also say which character you’re looking forward to reading more about in a new book.
If you’ve spotted a typo, email me at
[email protected].
I look forward to hearing from you.

PREVIEW OF THE TOUCH OF SNOW
Coming in June 2017 a new series from international author Anna Edwards, The Glacial Blood Series, a paranormal romance series.
The barren desert wasteland with its hues of gold, orange and red sped passed the car window. The rock formations a testament to the years of erosion beaten down upon them by force greater than even he could understand, and as a shape-shifting snow leopard, Brayden Dillion understood a lot about the ways of Mother Nature. The brand new Ford Mustang he drove had been a gift from his Alpha in recognition for a job done well. As was the break from duties. Although why his mother had to live just outside Death Valley in Furnace Creek was beyond him. You really couldn't get a hotter place on Earth and considering he spent most of his time exploring the snow-capped peaks of The Glacial national park he already had the air-con turned right up. She’d told him that it was because of his father, he'd always lived in the snow so when he died, she decided to get some sun for once. And she hadn’t looked back. He pulled his Mustang up outside the café with a roar of the high powered engine. The disapproving looks from the locals soon vanished when he climbed out of the car. His long, muscular legs topped with a stocky body and a height of almost six foot five silenced any potential disagreement. He purred to himself in contentment, but that was quickly lost when the heat of the midday sun hit him. He was not designed for this weather, he had all the usual snow leopard attributes, thick black hair with smoky grey flecks, small ears and big feet that helped with balance. He was pale in colour because he very rarely spent time sunbathing like the lions and tigers in his pack. Dusk or dawn was when he was the most active. He made quick steps towards the café and into the air-conditioned building. Looking around he didn’t see his mother but only a new faced waitress who wore the cafes’ uniform of a barely there skirt and a tank top as a second skin. She was pretty, in a timid sort of way. Every time someone came near her she flinched, and he could smell her fear. Well, he assumed it was her fear as his judgement was slightly clouded by the fact that he needed a drink, preferably ice cold and dumped over his head. She approached the seat he had taken near the counter.
“Hi, welcome to the ‘Last Stop’. I’m Selene, and I’ll be your waitress today. You look at little hot, can I get you an ice water to start with? It sure is a hot one out there today.” Any sign of her nerves had disappeared and was replaced with a business like smiles.
“Yes please, lots of ice. In fact, just bring me a big bowl of ice.”
She laughed at his comment. Her tiny nose crinkling up and dimples appearing in her cheeks.
“Let me guess.” She took a step back and looked him up and down. “Well the fact you seem like you’re melting, I take it you're not a southerner. The lack of a tan confirms that but I can’t quite place the accent?”
“Montana.”
“No wonder you’re hot. I’ll bring you ice cream as well.” She spun around in her little ballet pumps and started to stride off. Something stopped her though. She turned back and took another long look at him.
“Brayden?”
