  THE END

  (Book One)

  About Rob Buckman:

Having written so many stories for myself to help improve my writing skill, I thought it was time for other people to assess how well I did, or not. Writing it so much fun, as you can subject your characters to so many possible, and near impossible feats of daring do. I try to convey, as much atmosphere, and 'feeling' as possible into the story, so my readers become silent witness to the events. If I can impart the full range of sight, sound, and emotional impact while they enjoy the unfolding story, then I have succeeded. If my characters could speak outside the book, they'd probably all say that they hate me.

As many self published authors did before me, I have endeavored to eliminate as many spelling errors, correct my punctuation, and attempted to use easily understandable English grammar as I can. Like any author, I try to write an entertaining story that is of interest to a particular group of reader, i.e. Sci-fi fans, not to win an English essay contest, composition award, or a spelling bee. Hopefully I have achieved that end, despite the aforementioned spelling, punctuation and grammar errors that I surely missed. I therefore beg your indulgence, and hope you will overlook any such irritation you may come across, and not let them detract from the overall storytelling.

Right now, I am working with an editor(s) to, hopefully, eliminate many of aforementioned errors. I am also working with an editor on two of my new stories, so as not to repeat the mistakes of the past.

The next book out will be 'Echo of Tomorrow' Book Two. Again, this is a Sci-Fi military story that start in our immediate future, then jump forward to a future where all weapons have been eliminated. War, battle, fighting are all a thing of the past. One world, living in harmony with each other, under one world government, one religion, one law. A near perfect world. But what is a world to do without any kind of weapon when aggressive aliens come calling and begin abducting your children and young people? Without weapon, or the knowledge to build them, your only hope is in one man from three hundred years in the past, and a group of Marines who followed him into the future vie cold sleep.

The third book is of course Book Three of the 'Gray Chronicles', and the continuing adventures of Mike Gray and Company. In the mean time, I hope to entertain you with other stories I have written.
