Our Naked Souls

Just as I did before,

  And think them naïve.

  But I am not creating perfection;

  I am putting a photograph of my soul

  At the present moment

  Onto these pages.

  It may not hold up

  To the standards of the future

  But it is honest and reflective

  Of who I am right now.

  These words are not perfect

  But they are who I am today,

  Nothing held back.
