Llama and the Lady

“I don’t have a million-dollar life insurance policy,” Angelina said.
“Of course you do. You signed it, Angelina.”
“I didn’t know what I was signing! You told me it was a movie contract, that I’d get a starring role working alongside Brad Pitt and Kevin Hart.”
“You really should learn to hire your own lawyers,” Ted said. “But I suppose it’s too late for that now. What I don’t get from the insurance I will when I liquidate your assets.” He cocked the gun. “I have a feeling you’ll get a star on Hollywood Boulevard after I kill you.”
Angelina shut her eyes tight, but the bullet never came. Instead she just heard a click. She opened her eyes to see her dad’s eyes bulging as he yelled, “Damn you, Julia!”
“I’ll do it,” Salem said as he pointed his gun at Angelina, but Angus quickly shifted and gave him a kick, sending the gun flying across the pavement. Ted tried to move back into the limo, but the driver took off with the door open. Angus spit on Ted and he fell to the ground, but before he was able to give him a kick, Angelina screamed, “No! Don’t kill my dad. I want to see him in prison for plotting my murder.”
Salem shifted and Julia screamed, hugging Angelina as the hyena and llama faced each other. Salem snapped his jaws and made a jump for Angus, but he was able to deflect the blow with one of his mighty hooves.
Angelina shifted her eyes from the brawl as men came running forward.
The women held up their hands. “Please don’t shoot the llama. He’s one of the good guys,” Angelina said.
A car drove up and two men exited, each of them with khaki uniforms with an emblem that read “Shifter Patrol.” They pulled out a gun and Angelina screamed, “No!”
Julia held her back as the gun shot a charge of electricity into both of the shifters. “It looks like they just got tased,” Julia said, smiling at one of the patrol members.
“It’s the only way we’ll be able to break up the fight,” one of the men said. “I already assumed the llama shifter was the bodyguard.”
“How did you know we’d be here?” Angelina asked.
“We’ve been monitoring the situation since your plane crash.”
“They’ve been working with us.” A man walked forward, joining them. “I’m Special Agent Williams from the FBI. We’ve been working with the patrol on this case once we were alerted a hit had been placed on you, Miss Foxworth. The man who flew the helicopter is one of ours.”
“You entrapped me,” Ted exclaimed. “This will never stick when my attorney gets through with you.”
“It might,” Julia said. “I’m wearing a wire. Your father forced me to deliver that suitcase. If I didn’t, he’d kill my mother. We’ve been forced to stay at his house. He promised to let us go when you were dead, but I knew your father would kill us, too.”
“So he had you tell Willis to go to Wyoming, and you sent the limo that was meant to crash?”
“It was? I swear I had no idea. I was trying to figure out a way to escape your father’s clutches. I made sure there weren’t any bullets in his gun, too.”
“I’m so sorry you were dragged into this. Apparently I’m worth more dead than alive,” Angelina said sadly.
“I’d disagree with that statement,” Angus murmured, now in human form.
Angelina pointed at the naked man on the ground. “He’s one of the hired killers.”
“We’re quite aware of who Salem is. He’s one of the top ten most wanted shifters,” one of the patrol said.
“He killed Willis, one of my dad’s assistants,” Angelina cried. “There was someone at the motel who tried to kill us, too,” she added.
“He’s already been rounded up. Call an ambulance for these two,” Williams barked. “You’re a very brave woman, Julia. If you hadn’t called us after you delivered that bag, we’d have never known what was going on. I hope your mother is okay.”
“She was when we left, but can I go back there now? I won’t feel better until I see that she’s okay.”
They heard sirens as an ambulance approached.
“I don’t know how you did it, Angelina, but you survived a plane crash and now you’re here. I must admit my daughter is a huge fan.” Williams smiled.
“I don’t understand why my father would hire Angus. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for him.”
“I believe he wanted to make it seem like you were being protected so he’d be able to look like a grieving father after the plane crashed,” Williams clarified.
“He should have known better than to hire a llama as a bodyguard,” one of the patrol said. “They live to protect.”
The ambulance screeched to a stop and Angus motioned the paramedics over. “Take Miss Foxworth to the hospital first. I had to cut out her tracking implant.”
“Which was how my father’s men were able to find us at the motel,” Angelina explained.
Angelina walked over and was helped aboard the ambulance as another one showed up for Angus. She hated that they would leave separately, but she knew that she’d have to deal with the press, something she wasn’t looking forward to. The only thing that would get her through was knowing that Angus wanted her as his mate.
Chapter 11
Angelina woke with a start, but instead of an unwelcome camera in her face it was Angus’s smiling face. “How are you feeling?”
“Like I’d rather not be stuck here, but I don’t see any way out of it since the press is camped out at the hospital doors.”
“One of the nurses told me that, but I think it’s time we blow this Popsicle stand.” He grinned as he kissed her softly. “Unless you’d rather stay.”
“According to the doctors I need to, even though I’m all stitched up.” She showed him the pink stitches she had on her arm where he’d removed the implant.
“I suppose I shouldn’t have done that since we were already headed for danger.”
“We’ve been in danger since we met.” She frowned. “I still don’t understand why Salem met us in the SUV if they wanted me dead all along. Or why he didn’t have me in the limo if it was rigged to crash.”
“That’s a good point, but I don’t think Salem knew the limo was rigged. How could he when he was with us the whole time?”
“What did he hope to gain by helping us?”
“He wanted to be the person who delivered you to your father. He only had counterfeit money, remember?”
“I suppose you’re right, but what if that man from the motel is still coming after me?”
“Williams said he was apprehended,” Angus reminded her. “I promise if anyone tries to kill my mate, they’ll face a deadly end.”
Angelina smiled. “I like the sound of that.”
“Time to get moving,” Angus ordered as he pulled her up from the hospital bed. “Hurry up and get dressed.”
Angelia obeyed. “How are we ever going to get out of here without being seen?”
“Don’t worry, I have it all worked out.”
Angelina snuck from her room into the hallway, aiming for the stairs. They slipped through the door and descended. “How far are we going?” she asked.
“To the basement.”
Once they reached it, Angus motioned toward a huge bin that had several bags of garbage in it.
“Your chariot has arrived,” he announced.
Angelina wrinkled her nose at the pungent odor. “You have to be kidding. I’m not climbing in that thing.”
“Where’s your sense of adventure?”
“I’ve already had too much adventure.”
“I imagine ours might make a great movie… starring you, of course.”
“I’d rather forget the whole thing if you don’t mind. I’m still trying to cope with the thought that my own father wanted me dead for money.”
“I can’t blame you for feeling that way, but if you want to ever get out of here, now is the time.”
Angelina sighed as Angus helped her into the bin and covered her with bags fille
d only with shredded paper. “Can you breathe okay?” he asked.
“Barely so get a move on would you.”
Angus slipped into a jumpsuit and hat to disguise himself, knowing everyone was perfectly aware that he was with Angelina.
He pushed the bin into the service elevator that led to a dock area with dumpsters.
“Do you need help, buddy?” a man asked.
“I got it, thanks.”
Stones crunched under the man’s shoes as he approached. “Are you new here?”
“Yup, and the supervisor told me to get the garbage out before the next shift arrived.”
“That sounds just like Tony. He hates to deal with the bickering between shifts. I better head inside before I punch in late again.”
Angus sighed in relief. He quickly tossed the trash into the bin and helped a rattled Angelina into a waiting truck. “Hello,” the driver said.
“This is Chase. Fortunately he was in town and agreed to help us out.”
Chase put the truck in gear and asked, “Where are we heading.”
“We could go to my house in the hills, but I’m afraid I’ll never be able to leave again if the press figures out I slipped past them,” Angelina said.
“You mean they’ll camp out at your house, too?” Angus asked.
“You have a lot to learn, but I’m willing to teach you.” She winked.
“Aww, the big bad llama is getting schooled by his mate.” Chase chuckled.
“A-Are you a shifter, too?”
“Mountain lion. I live at Silver Creek.”
“Oh, the ranch Angus lives at.”
“Lived at, you mean,” Angus said as he locked eyes with Angelina.
“You mean you’re willing to leave the ranch to stay at my side?”
“Yes, if you’ll have me.”
“We can go to my Malibu house. That way we won’t get boxed in since I also have a boat.”
Angelina gave Chase the directions, who started cussing when he reached the freeway. “It’s not normal for there to be so many cars going in the same direction.”
“Welcome to Los Angeles,” Angelina said.
They traveled in silence except for Chase’s cussing. Angelina smiled at Angus then leaned against him, breathing in his musky scent. She was looking forward to having him all to herself.
When they pulled up to the gate of the mansion, Angelina gave Chase the code. After he entered it, they proceeded up the drive, Angus’s eyes widening at the dolphin fountain in the courtyard.
“It’s even better inside,” she promised.
They climbed out of the truck and Chase waved. “I’ll head out now. After everything you’ve gone through, I think you need some serious alone time.”
Angelina waved back and walked to the door, pressing a code that opened the door. Her shoes tapped on the ceramic floor as she stepped inside.
“Wow, a house full of nothing,” Angus announced.
“Obviously my dad was already in the process of liquidating my possessions. I hope they left the bed at least.” She winked.
Angus wandered into the huge kitchen with a double oven, an island, and a double-door refrigerator. He gripped the counter. “All I have to do is bend you over,” he joked.
Angelina smiled as she walked over to him, taking his hand in hers and tugging him outside where the pool and hot tub were. “Would you like to go skinny dipping?” she suggested.
“Not right now. Come here.” He motioned her with a finger. “I need to imprint my scent on you to seal us as mates for all time.”
Angelina obeyed, slinking toward him. He removed her shirt and bra and traced the smooth skin of her breasts until she moaned in delight. His cock swelled and he had to hold back. He couldn’t just rip her clothes off and take her hard and fast; he had to make sure she enjoyed herself. He loved this woman, and it was long overdue for him to claim her as his.
When Angus fingered Angelina’s nipples into stiff peaks, she thought she’d lose her mind. She had so much pent-up frustration that she wanted him to take her immediately, but she knew it would be so much better if they took their time.
Angus sucked her nipples until the small stab of pain he was creating led her down a dizzy trail, her pussy twitching, her desire for him evident when her juices escaped. Is this how it feels when you make love to a man you really love? It was something Angelina had never experienced until she met Angus.
He popped the button of her jeans and slipped a hand over her mound, squeezing it slightly. He smiled at the wanton desire in her eyes and that he was making his love squirm for more. As his fingers slipped lower, he realized she was slick and he smiled. He imprisoned her lips in a deep kiss as she kicked her jeans the rest of the way off, wiggling out of her panties.
When he plunged his tongue into her willing mouth she felt unable to stand upright, so she pulled away. “You’re driving me crazy, Angus. Fuck me now,” she exclaimed as she gripped his pants. “Please, my love,” she breathed into his mouth.
“Not yet,” he whispered. “I want to make sure I please you properly.”
“I can’t stand up anymore.”
“Maybe we should go to the edge of the hot tub.”
Angelina looked confused. “For what?”
“I want to taste you. Every inch of you.”
She allowed herself to be led and sat on the edge of the hot tub, the tiles cooling the cheeks of her ass. She spread her legs wide as Angus shucked his jeans, his engorged cock free and ready for action. She sucked in a breath at the size of him. He was muscled and hard everywhere and she was eager to know what it would feel like when he thrust into her tender core.
He waded into the water and slowly moved closer, grinning. “How much do you want to feel my tongue?”
She pushed a finger in her sopping pussy and put it to his lips. “This much.”
With a groan, Angus licked the side of her clit and she jumped. “Oh God!” she exclaimed. “I had no idea a llama had such a sweet tongue.”
“You haven’t felt anything yet.”
He worked his tongue on her clit until he felt her tremble, then brought her closer and closer to the brink until he finally plunged his tongue inside her.
Angelina couldn’t stand it any longer, not when Angus was making her feel so good. She was so close to an orgasm and a little frustrated that Angus had moved his tongue from her sensitive clit, but she had to admit being tongue-fucked by him was driving her mad. She cried out when he changed positions and rubbed his lips and tongue over her clit, thrusting his fingers into her pussy, moving slowly until she cried out, “Please fuck me harder!”
But Angus continued to torture her as he pumped his fingers, licking her clit harder and harder until she tightened around his fingers and bucked widely.
He hugged her in the aftermath and she clung to him. “That felt so good, Angus, but I want to taste you, too.”
“Not right now. Right now, I want to fuck you silly.”
Angelina smiled. “I don’t think I’m in the right position.”
Angus brought his arms under her as he laid her back, slipping his cock into her. She screamed, “Oh yes!”
He thrust into her slowly, taking care that her back wasn’t slammed into the stones of the deck. She urged him on, begging, “Please fuck me harder.”
“Not yet. I’m rather enjoying feeling you wrapped around my cock.”
Angelina screamed as a pulsing orgasm ripped through her. She felt barely conscious and stared up dizzily at the bulging veins at Angus’s brow, his muscles tense as he fucked her.
He finally gave her what she really wanted as he fucked her hard and long. She had orgasm after orgasm and she was uncertain how he was able to hold back for so long. She should have known a shifter would be able to really love a woman the way she craved. With a groan and reddening face, he pumped her full of his juices. He didn’t move away but pulled her to a sitting position, reluctantly freeing his cock from her pussy. He tugged her into the water
, sitting on the ledge inside and moving her to his lap.
Angus cupped her breasts and asked, “I hope you enjoyed yourself.”
She pinched his thigh. “Do you need to ask?”
She lay against Angus and gazed out at the calm ocean, the sun warming her skin.
“This is a beautiful place to live,” Angus said.
“Yes, it is. I wish I’d spent more time out here than I have. It’s just more convenient to be closer to Los Angeles.”
“How hard would it be for you to give this up?”
She stiffened. “You want me to leave California?”
“As wonderful and beautiful a place as this is, it’s not home to me.”
“You don’t need to be a ranch hand anymore.”
“Well, I like living in Wyoming. I enjoy the uncomplicated life there.”
Angelina gave that some thought. “I’m not against moving there, believe me. I need to get away from Hollywood and California. It’s only brought me misery and danger.”
“What about being an actress?”
“Honestly, I haven’t been able to get a decent role in years.” She smiled slightly. “I’m your mate and I’ll go wherever you want to be. I can sell my property here and buy us a ranch in Wyoming.”
“How many houses do you own here?”
“I have a mansion in the Hollywood Hills and this place.”
“I’d rather you not sell this house. It will be a nice getaway when you get bored of living in Wyoming.”
“We could both come here for a vacation, you mean, because I’m never leaving your side, Angus.”
“That’s what I hoped you’d say.”
“I want to get away, and that means not telling anyone where I’m moving. I’d like to start a new life with you in Wyoming.”
“I believe there are a few ranches for sale in Creeksboro. It’s close to the Silver Creek Ranch, a place I consider home.”
“It’s settled then. Off to Creeksboro we go.”
Chapter 12
Angelina snapped the newspaper closed, having read the press release a dozen times. “Actress Angelina Foxworth has chosen to go into seclusion after her father was arrested for hiring hit men to kill her. Her house in the Hollywood Hills is currently under a bidding war by potential owners.”
